$150 port in credit x2 lines no credit received

I can tell from other posts that many others are just as frustrated as I am. I switched from T-Mobile to Verizon on December 29th and was in luck, or so I thought, that they were offering a port in credit of $150 per smart phone. My husband and I made the switch, in part due to this credit promise. Fast forward four months and not credit. I have called each month, and have been told that it can take 2 billing cycles, so I waited. Last month was told that the credit was coming and they were so sorry for the delay and that I could expect it on the next and she was preparing a "ticket" to get this credited for me. I get this months statement and still no credit. So I reach out again, and am now, for the 1st time of my 4 previous calls, told that I was not eligible unless I switched to an Edge plan. This is simply not true and nothing on the internet really dies, so even researching on my own a quick search indicates, that the promotion was for a switch to a subsidized 2 year plan or an Edge plan. The suggested recourse was to go back into the Verizon store I purchased from as they may have a hard file on my purchase with more detail than can be accessed by customer service. Has anyone been successful in receiving the promised credit, and if so, what worked? Thanks!

This is the advertised promotion starting 12/29

  • 150$ Port in credit not received

    Hello ,
I have been reading through all the queries posted in the forum and looks like Verizon is not honoring the 150$ port credit. I am also in the same boat. I had ported to Verizon  in Dec 2014 when the promotional period was running. The device was bought at BestBuy. I was informed  by the Verizon reps that I would be receiving the 150$ credit in 2-3 billing cycles. Its been 4 billing cycles and there is no sign of credit.
Now the Verizon reps say since the device was bought at BestBuy  I am not eligible. I was totally unaware of this fact and feel like cheated.
    Can somebody help.
    Thanks,
    VP

I printed the port-in credit faq on March 4th, and no mention of having to buy directly from verizon although it does say to start the port go online or to a store.
Someone also asked the question back in Nov., 2014, and the official answer was:

    Hi theusualsuspect!
Great news! All port ins are eligible for this credit. It does take 2-3 billing cycles to get the credit, but going to a 3rd party vendor is OK!

I'm getting the run-around because I bought on a 2-year contract and I've been told that the promotion only applies to edge contracts.  Fortunately I printed out the faq which explictly says 2-year contracts are included.  Now they tell me wait 3 months and see what happens.

  • New Customer $150 Port Credit for 2 Phones = $300.

I received credit for one phone.  When will I receive the 2nd credit?  I know that it states 2-3 billing cycles, but what happens if the 2nd credit does not appear?  There was a promotion in November for every phone ported over, you would receive $150 per line.@

    John_01930,
I appreciate the extra information. We want to make sure we continue to work and find where this credit is. I can advise when this was done not all stores were participating in the $150 port-in credit. However, you did receive one and not the other so we need to investigate further. Did both lines of service port over at the same time? Was there a temporary number assigned to one? Have you spoken to the store who you processed the phones from? This will help provide us additional information.

  • Port-in Credit

Hi, I started a new plan with a new phone from Costco last night and do the port-in after I got home.
So far, I have not received any email or text whether I will be getting the port-in credit.
Is there any way I can confirm this?
    Thanks.

There is no confirmation as of today.
I called Verizon CS yesterday and she told me that the account had no information about the port-in credit.
And I needed to contact the seller to put it in.
So this is very confusing and I am considering to cancel the line!!!

  • Procedure for Porting Existing Family Plan Line into a Different Family Plan?

Currently my partner has his line on a friend's family plan.   I'm looking to set up a new (I'm not an existing customer) 2-line family plan of my own and then port his number into my plan (which will, of course, cancel that extra line on his friend's plan).
Can I go ahead and order my family plan with two lines and handsets on the VZW site and then at a later time work with his friend to get his number ported onto the second line in the family plan?  Or is there a better method to go about getting that line on that other plan moved onto my line on my plan?
    Kindly,
    Gordon

Does he want to keep his number?
If so, you will need to do an Assumption of Liability to take over financial responsibility for the line.  Basically, you call in or visit a store with the current account owner, and a Verizon rep will take you through the process.  There is no fee for the AoL, and Verizon will do a credit check.  You may have to pay a deposit depending on the results.  The current contract will also come over with the line, so unless it is currently eligible for an upgrade, you will not be able to buy a phone at a discounted price until it reaches month 20 of its contract.
You can either do the AoL, establishing your account, and then add your new line and switch to a Family Share Plan, or set up your account and then do the AoL.  There's no real difference.

  • Extended acl - multiple ports on same acl line

    hello
i'm working on a (long) acl and have started looking at putting multiple ports on the same line
    e.g.
    instead of:
    ip access-list extended test3
permit tcp any host 10.10.10.1 eq 80
permit tcp any host 10.10.10.1 eq 443
    i'd use:
    ip access-list extended test3
permit tcp any host 10.10.10.1 eq 80 443
its shortening the acl considerably but the question is:
does this method reduce the TCAM resources required (compared to writing the acl in long hand)?
what are the maximum number of ports that can be included on the same line - is it platform/ios dependant?
    thanks
    andy

    Hello
No. I went ahead with the acl with multiple ports in each ACE and it worked fine. It was deployed on an old WS-C3750G-24PS-E and worked pretty well. When I checked the tcam on the switch I got the following output:
    Cisco3750#show platform tcam utilization
CAM Utilization for ASIC# 0                      Max            Used
                                                             Masks/Values    Masks/values
    IPv4 security aces:                          1024/1024         33/33
Note: Allocation of TCAM entries per feature uses
a complex algorithm. The above information is meant
to provide an abstract view of the current TCAM utilization
As there were other ACLs on the switch it was difficult to gauge if the multiple ports per ACE approach to ACLs actually saved any TCAM resources. If you find anything out post back - I'd be interested to hear.
    thanks

  • Dumb question: Difference between Digital Port versus a Digital Line?!

    Hello All,
PLEASE excuse my numbskull question, but I can't find an answer to this question. What is the difference between a digital port and a digital line? I need to control some relay modules in our 2345 box. This works with digital line output, but I can also trip the relays using a Port write.
    Any recommendations?
    Thanks for all your input.
    Max

    Hello,
There are a few different ways that you can control your digital lines.  You can use the DAQ Assistant or you can program by using the DAQmx VIs that the DAQ Assistant uses to generate its code.
Either way you will need to write to a digital line so your lines will need to be configured as digital outputs.  There are a few good examples that you can use that are installed with LabVIEW.  You can find these examples by opening up the Example Finder (Help>>Find Examples) and then browsing to Hardware Input and Output>>DAQmx>>Digital Generation.>>Write Dig Chan.vi.  This example shows how to write the different lines on a port.  You can also choose to write just one sample instead of N Samples.  Depending on your situation you can change the polymorphic instance of the DAQmx Write VI and also change the line grouping constant from "one channel for all lines" to "one channel for each line" if you want to write in a different way.  But you can at least start with this example and make any changes you like down the road.

  • Email content line feeds using receiver mail adapter - HELP!

    Hi all,
I have read the threads on how to download the XSD from SAP for creating a mail message type with dynamic To and From addresses and this is working fine. However, I am unable to create multiple lines in my mail message. I have the following parameters in my config:
    XML2Plain - Transform.Class - com.sap.aii.messaging.adapter.Conversion
    XML2Plain - Tansform.ContentType - text/plain;charset=utf-8
    XML2Plain - xml.conversionType - SimpleXML2Plain
    XML2Plain - xml.addHeaderLine - 0
    XML2Plain - xml.fieldFixedLengths - 12,150
    XML2Plain - xml.fixedLengthTooShortHandling - Cut
    XML2Plain - xml.fieldSeparator - '0x0D''0x0A'
I have not changed the message type in the Design so the mapped Content field currently just contains one long line of 162 characters (as does the resulting email). I want 12 characters on the first line and 150 characters on the second line. Do I need to concatenate something between by 12-character and 150-character strings to achieve this? Do I need a line.Separator parameter in my module configuration?
    Many thanks,
    Stuart Richards

    Hi Sreeramulu,
As mentioned by Lucas, you can use the UDF. Inn addition to that, you need to define the Variable Headers under Variable transport binding after enabling the Adapter Specific Message Attributes.
For the Enabling ASMA, follow the below steps and check for the variable attributes.
    Select the Advanced  tab page.
To save adapter-specific attributes in the message header of the XI message, select Use Adapter-Specific Message Attributes and Variable Transport Binding.
The following attributes in the message header are then available for processing:
    ○       User: (technical name: TServerLocation)
    ○       Authentication key: (technical name: TAuthKey)
The following mail header fields are available for processing:
    ○       From: (technical name: THeaderFROM)
    ○       To: (technical name: THeaderTO)
    ○       Cc: (technical name: THeaderCC)
    ○       Bcc: (technical name: THeaderBCC)
    ○       Subject: (technical name: THeaderSUBJECT)
    ○       Reference to the mail that is to be replied to: (technical name: THeaderIN-REPLY-TO)
    ○       Reply to: (technical name: THeaderREPLY-TO)
    ○       Mail client program: (technical name: THeaderX-MAILER)
    ○       Send confirmation of receipt: (technical name: THeaderDISPOSITION-NOTIFICATION-TO)
    ○       Priority: (technical name: THeaderPRIORITY)
    ○       Importance of message: (technical name: THeaderIMPORTANCE)
To transfer further header fields, set the relevant indicator for Variable Header. The technical names for the fields are XHeaderName1, XHeaderName2, and XHeaderName3.
The parameters are included in the mail header under the names specified here.
The attribute namespace for the adapter is http://sap.com/xi/XI/System/Mail.
    Thanks,

  • 3 billing cycles over still haven't got port in credit

I ported in my number from ATT in Nov 2014 during the 150$ credit port in offer. It has been 3 billing cycles and so far i haven't received the credit. I called in 4 days ago and i was promised by customer service rep (5th person to talk on that day) on the phone that it is being applied to my account on that day... 4 days later nothing changed called in again today and i was told they have no record of anyone applying any credit to my account and they have to submit a form to see why the credit hasn't shown up on my account even though everything is good on my account for which i need to wait another 7-14 days to get an answer. Is Verizon ever going to give the credit or going keep giving me a run around and keep saying wait another week or 2 every time i call in?

all the best Spalding1028 . I don't think they are going to give the credit that easily. They keep saying the billing system is the one does the credit and they cannot do anything to fix it. I called again today i was told wait for another billing cycle so each CSR have their own version of what is going on (basically noone seems to have a clue). My friends warned me about Verizon's tactics they are just proving it right. Almost 48 hrs since i asked the question nobody Verizon has responded.

  • Control parallel port (data and control lines)

I need to control the output on the parallel port (LPT1) - Both data and control lines.  Once the data is written (Pins2-9), I then need to toggle the Sprocket signal (PIN1) - on the parallel port. The sprocket signal is also referred to as the Data Strobe Output.
The required method is as follows:
    1. Lower the sprocket signal on PIN1
    2. Send the data (Pins2-9) and wait
    3. Raise the sprocket signal and wait.
    4. Repeat.
I am looking for a method to control the data on LPT1 pins 2-9 and then be able to toggle PIN1 - Strobe signal - without the data falling from the other pins. What I have found is that whenever the state is changed on the strobe - the data that was written to Pin2-9 falls to zero. This will not work for my application - the strobe tells the hardware device that the data is ready. If it falls to zero when I toggle the strobe - that will not work.
    Regards,
    Guy

    Hello Adam,
I am familiar with both references.  If you look more closely at the library reference - it allows me to communicate using VISA across the parallel port pins 2-9.  It does not permit direct communication to pin1 (the strobe signal) - property nodes don't allow the strobe to be refereced either (similar to control lines/signals for COM ports).
Worse, I have also located examples using OUT PORT that does enable pin1 to be toggled.  The problem is, when those VIs are used, the data falls from the data pins when the strobe signal is written, even if its value is not changed.  For example, if the strobe is already high, if another high value is passed, the data falls from the data lines.  The other issue, when using VISA, as soon as the data is writen, the strobe signal automatically goes high even though I need a wait before setting the strobe high.  This is in complete contradiction to the second article you referenced which clearly discusses writing data to pins2-9 then taking the strobe high to indicate to the printer that new data is available.  It must be possible since this is the typical handshake.
I am still looking for a more complete answer/solution.
    Regards,
    Guy

  • No credit received

I purchased the one year subscription and my credit card got charged but I am unable to use the subscription. How can this be fixed? If not, can I get a refund?

    Hello Denny,
I checked your account and your subscription has been active for some time now. You can make group video call and since you also have Unlimited US&Canada you can call phone numbers in these 2 countries.
When I checked your call history then I noticed that you have tried to call outside of US and Canada. Here is your call history: https://secure.skype.com/account/call-history
Important: Make sure you dial the number with correct country code +1 (for US)

Regarding customer service, currently Skype is not able to offer phone support for more than half a billion users, but Skype has email and chat support.
Since most questions are answered in FAQ's it will be offered as first option, but if you can't find an answer from FAQ's then simply search with keywords customer support or just support and first link you find is: https://support.skype.com/faq/FA1170
Rather than sending email to one specific address it's much more efficient to fill out support form, based on which your case will be sent to specialized department right away.
Since you have Skype Premium you have access to chat support:
    https://support.skype.com/faq/FA10656
I know it might seem like Skype is hiding, but I can assure you it's actually the opposite. Millions of customers every single day find their answer from FAQ's, which leaves enough resources for customer service to focus on cases that cannot be solved with FAQ's.

  • Anybody knows how to control parallel port to generate digital line ?

    All,
I have found at some website, there are a software can generate corresponding signal (I suppose that is digital line) to driver a relay board, the relay board is 8 channels. which out put is pin 2, pin3, pin 4, pin5, pin 6, pin7, pin8 and pin 9 of parallel port to control it . it is well control, how can it do ?  and I want to simulate it at LV with parallel port too , how can it achieve ? which command, or a simple sample which you provide will be appreciated.
    thanks in advance.

  • Cisco UC 520 FXO port, dual or single line?

I am needing to configure the FXO ports on a UC 520 to accept 2 numbers instead of just 1, is this possible?

timer media-inactive To enable the timer for media inactivity detection using the digital signal processor (DSP) (based on RTP as the only criterion) and to configure a multiplication factor based on the real-time control protocol (RTCP) timer interval, use the timer media-inactive command in gateway configuration mode. To reset to the default, use the no form of this command. timer media-inactive multiple no timer media-inactive multiple
When the timer media-inactive command is used, the gateway uses the inactivity timer as a combination of the timer media-inactive command and the ip rtcp report interval command. The timer media-inactive command uses DSP statistics. This capability is based on the configuration of callfeature parameters using application command-line interface (CLI) to enable control. The media are considered inactive only if there is no transfer of RTP packets in the send direction and no RTP packets in the receive direction. If RTP is present in either the send or receive direction, it is considered active. In this mode, DSP filters out any comfort noise packets, and the presence of any comfort noise packet is considered inactivity in either direction. The multiple argument (or multiplication factor) is multiplied by the interval that is set using the ip rtcp report interval command. This command configures the average interval between successive RTCP report transmissions for a given voice session. For example, if the value argument is set to 25,000 milliseconds, an RTCP report is sent every 25 seconds, on average. If no RTP packets are received during the calculated interval, the call is disconnected. The gateway signals the disconnect to the VoIP network and the time-division multiplexing (TDM) network so that upstream and downstream devices can clear their resources.
