16 lines of data and truncate to 1 line of data ???

alright my program generates a data of 16 lines as shown below and the following is the block diagram.
what I need is for it to generate a data with only 1 line shown below.
I think the problem is because of the analog to digital conversion but I think this is the most non-trivial method. it would be great if i can truncate it to 1 line because it's essentially the same thing.
I've also attached my VI if that would be more help. thanks in advance, this wall that I'm running into is annoying me.

Upgrade 2 basic lines to smartphones and add a smartphone line

I have 3 lines we are on a family share plan and line 1 is the only smartphone.
Line 1 unlimted data smartphone
line 2 and 3 are due for upgrades just basic phones but want to switch to smartphones plus add a 4th line. do I have to give up my unlimted data to get them on a data plan?

Each line has its own contract, so making changes to one line shouldn't affect the other lines. You should be able to upgrade the two basic phones to smartphones and add a 2GB ($30) data plan to each and add the fourth line without affecting the unlimited data line. You may want to check the math to ensure that it isn't cheaper to switch to the More Everything plan, though (depending on data usage) ... and be aware that unless you make the changes on-line, VzW reps will probably try to steer you toward changing to the More Everything plan, but that's not required.

I need to add a day to oracle.jbo.domain.Date and get back a oracle.jbo.domain.Date without the time part.
So far I've got

Calendar cal = Calendar.getInstance();
cal.setTime(new java.util.Date(valueDate.timestampValue().getTime()));
cal.add(Calendar.DATE, 1);
Date newDate = new oracle.jbo.domain.Date(new Timestamp(cal.getTime().getTime()));This adds 1 day to the date but keeps the time part of the date.
How do I get rid of the time part of the date ?

The Calendar class allows you to set or clear each field.

I have attatched the vi. Here in this it receives the data from rs232 as string and converted into binery. and indicated in led also normally if the data 1 comes then the led's will be off. suppose if 0 comes the corresponding data status is wrtten into the text file. But here the problem is the same data will be printed many number of times. so i have to make it like if there is a transition from 1 to o then only print it once. how to do it. I am doing this from few weeks please reply if you know the answer immediatly

Changing date (and sequence) of events by changing dates of photos no longer seems to work. Any idea what to do?

I am scanning in old slides and negatives (from the 1960s and 70s), and I want to get the resulting "events" in sequence from when the photos were taken, rather than when they were scanned. So I have been changing the dates of the photos, and previously this resulted in the associated event moving to the proper sequence. This definitely worked a month or so ago, both with prints scanned in on a flat-bed scanner, and also with slides and negatives scanned with a Veho scanner. That was faulty, however, and so it has been replaced with a Plustek 7500i scanner, using SilverFast scanning software, and importing the resulting images into iPhoto. I have recently tried to change the dates of the resulting events, and it doesn't seem to work as it used to. There has been an update to iPhoto 9.1.3 since my earlier success.
Take for example one event, CS73A. Hovering over the event in the "All events" display gives dates of 1 Apr 2011 to 2 Apr 2011; these are the dates the slides were scanned in. If I open the event and choose the Info tab, it gives the event date as 02/03/1973 (which is the approximate date that I changed it to). I had done a batch change on the event this time, so the date and time on the first slide is 2 March 1973 09:30:48. Each successive slide is 1 minute later, and the last is 2 March 1973 10:08:48 (38 slides). I asked for the dates in the files to be changed as well.
I don't know what I'm doing that's different from before. The only things I can think of are (a) something has changed in the iPhoto update, or (b) the SilverFast software stores the scanning date in some part of the EXIF that iPhoto can read but not change. I don't have tools to examine the EXIF unfortunately.
What to do?

Chris, I have run into the same problem.
Try this:
Open an event with more than one photo in it.
Adjust the date of one or more photos. The event date does not update.
Delete any one photo. The event date now updates to match the above date change.
Undo the delete photo. The event date stays matching.
Change the date of any photo again. The event date updates now every time.
If you close the event and reopen it, you have to start over with the delete one photo thing.
I don't understand it but it works here.
I also have had the problem of events not sorting themselves in order of the dates when VIEW, SORT, BY DATE is selected. This seems to affect only the events were photo date changes had been made. Using the delete thing seems to keep the events in order.
Another funny thing: When I put photos into iMovie the times in iMovie show as 7 hours off the photo time.
I think Apple owes us an update to iLife!

I am trying to check the last date (i.e. max date) and also check the penultimate date (i.e. the second to the last date). And then find the difference between the two (i.e. last date minus penultimate
date).
I would like to do that for each of the companies listed in Table 2: Tickers. I am able to do it for just one company (MSFT) using the queries below:

Now wait a minute....Your mother wanted MORE data when she had unlimited data in the first place? Then as much empathy for her present plight of now being restricted to 1 Gig (for $20 more a month to boot, poor lady) I believe this mistake is on her for failing to think more carefully to what she had, was giving up and jumping into. I don't find these plans confusing at all. Do I justify them? Absolutely not. Furthermore I noticed when I went to the plans section of the website, that individual plans were no longer offered. This sent up red flags, telling me that should I switch, I might not be able to go back to the old plans which were apparently "grandfathered."
My point is, that a little careful research and reasoning could have avoided this unfortunate mistake on your mother's part. Of course, this is all part of Verizon's plan to cattle drive people into the new higher-revenue plans anyway. It's all a carefully engineered paradigm of restriction to get what they want. Higher ARPU's, returns for their shareholders, and fatter bonuses and salaries for the fat-cat corporate execs. What the consumer wants here is irrelevant.

for the output part:
a date is a point in time
the output depends on the format you specify for output
using for example a SimpleDateFormat.
You only specified the format for parsing (which is independent for that of output) so java uses some default format ... see the DateFormat.format() method for details.
for the comparison stuff, I just posted a little code snippet in this forum a few minutes ago.
the hint is: Date.getTime() returns milliseconds after a fixed date

Filter a list-views on page by Date and Time column, not only by Date (Connected Webpart)

I have a task - create a page and display on it all lists/libraies with documents of team meetings. Every meeting has a documents and another information, which is storing in the same lists/libraries on website as another meetings. Additionally there
is a field "MeetingDate" (type: DateTime), which help to indetify a meeting documents.
I have added all on one page and my custom connected webpart (IWebpartRow interface), which help to filter all views on page by field meeting date. It send a date to another webparts on page, and user see information only for this date.
It works fine, but the problem is, that it used only DATE (without time) and i need now to filter all by date and time.
Unfortunately, i noticed that i cannot filter items by date with time in the standard list too. Please see my screenshot.
My question is: may be i should use another interface (not IWebPartRow) that to send 2 values (1 - date, 2 - time) and filter all by 2 columns. Is it possible?

Per my understanding, you might want to display all the specific documents in a page, they can be filtered by values of a Date and time column.
A possible solution I will provide is that, we can create custom visual web part to display all these documents. In the code behind, run a query with CAML to retrieved all the
documents with the specific date and time, then generate a view of hyperlinks that points to these documents.
In this way, we can combine the filter component with the data display component into one web part, with the help of CAML query and Object Model, it would not be a tough job to
implement such a solution.

After I updated to ios5 my calendar did not bring in dates and when I began re-entering dates after one or two it froze up and after I got it going again it will not populate an end time on the same date and will not save the appointment as a consequence.

After I updated my Ipad2 to IOS5 my calendar lost all appointments. After re-entering a couple of appointments it froze. After getting it going again, the calendar will not populate an end date for the current day and consequently I can't save the appointment. Is this a common problem as I have just purchased this ipad and the calendar function is very important to me.

Hmm... It looks like they are gone forever now then. I can't think of any other way of getting them back apart from restoring from an iTunes or iCloud backup. Somebody else might be able to help but I think they're gone forever. I don't know why they were wiped from your iPod but it could be something to do with security. In the future I would recommend syncing to iTunes or iCloud to prevent it from happening again. Master data and impact of loads from transaction data

If I have the following scenario:
1. Load to cube which contains a dimension which has an info object 0CUSTOMER
2. The transaction data is being loaded from a non SAP system and 0CUSTOMER is loaded on a daily basis from SAP system
3. As part of the transaction load some Customers have a value which is not existing in the 0CUSTOMER info object
Do these new customers also get loaded to the 0CUSTOMER master data i.e. the SIDs are added to the SID table for 0CUSTOMER or is it just loaded as part of the cube and stored in the specific dimension

they are also automatically loaded to 0customer, as the sid of that record is needed in the cube. Possibly, if there is no relation to your R/3 customers, you have some initial records in your customer master (means all attributes as well as the texts are initial).

How to grant protection to data and not to structures containing the data?

Dear All,
I have a question regarding authorizations in BW. Maybe someone can give me a good advice.
We have the following situation: a group of developers in BW should be able to develop and to "move" within BW without any limit or constriction. Another group of developers is not allowed to see some specific data, since they are sensible data from some external system regarding third party business. These data are contained in structures (Infocubes, DSOs, Multiproviders, ecc) all having the same naming convention, let´s say ZNVS*. Apart from that, they have exactly the same authorizations as the first group.
I am able to restrict access to infoareas (and underlying objects) by means of authorization objects like S_RS_ICUBE, S_RS_ODSO, ecc. This was easy and it does work fine: the user is not able to see any of tha data contained in the protected objects.
But, what if they tipp the DSO active data table name in SE11? They are able to get to the data. I know that i could link a table name to an authorization group and through the authorization group restrict the access to the table, but it is not realistic to think that it can be done for every new structure created in BW.
Now the question:: how can I avoid that? Is there any solution granting protection not to the data warehousing structure (dso, infocube, ecc) but to the data within the structure itself, no matter how i try to get to them?

According to my knowledge and to my understanding analysis authorizationrefers to another issue. I am not talking about authorizing or not authorizing some user for some values or data when executing a query. I am talking about not authorizing those user to get access tho those protected data when developing in the BW system (i.e. by executing SE11 for DSO active table)
Is my understanding of analysis authorization wrong?

How to view both real data and timestamp information in TDM data viewer?

Attached, I have a VI that uses NI-Scope (NI-5122) to digitize and store data. I have added some TDMS functions in order to save waveform data in binary format ( our acquisition time is around 3 hours and the files become very large) As you can see, I am using TDM file viewer to view the data, the problem I am having is that I can only see the voltages and not time stamps. I am interested in viewing and analyzing timestamped data. I do see that the graph contains both voltages and timestamps and idealy I would like to see both in the value tab.
Please let me know what is the best way to see both sets of data.

The TDMS file does preserve the timing information for a waveform, you can see it if you go to the 'Properties' tab. The attributes are there to calculate the waveform timestamp data, however, it does not look like the code behind the TDMS file viewer supports displaying the timestamp values in a column on the 'Values' tab. This seems like a good case for filing a product suggestion. As for a work-around, if you are set on using a TDMS file and viewing the timing information you would require a custom version of a TDMS file viewer.
