2.99$ app costed me 5.08€?

Dear Apple,
i have recently bought app for my iPad2, Air Video Server that costs 2.99$, but my credit card was billed 4 times!
3 times it wass billed for 1 EUR and once 2.08 EUR.
I can tell that 2.99$ is 2.08€, but what about the other 3 euros?
Why are you charging me 3 times 1 EUR when i have not bought anything?

In addition to Johnathan Burger's reply, if you created an iTunes account as part of buying the app, then you may find that at least one of the extra charges is just a temporary charge on the credit card done to check that it is valid and active - so they may disappear in the next day or two.

Cost center wise payment is not possible as vendor open items to be processed with APP do not have cost center information (since vendor items are not P&L items).

App costs / .folio fulfilment bundles?

Hi – I have a corporate client with an Enterprise Edition licence.
They want us to produce a one-off magazine app for them.
Can anyone advise what additional/surprise costs I should alert them to?
An app designer has told us about .folio bundles, which is all new to me. He implied this was relevant to the Enterprise licence, though a quick look on forums/online suggests it applies more/solely to Professional Edition.
If they have an Enterprise licence, is the client going to be charged $0.30 for every download (after a certain "free" limit, e.g. 5,000pa or 250per month – is this limit what is referred to as a "fulfilment bundle")? Do they get a bill at the end of the month?
Are there any other costs the client should expect?

Fulfillment bundles are used with both Enterprise and Pro. First year 5000 downloads are included but some editions of Enterprise include more. Enterprise is available in an edition restricted to just 1 app. You need to know more about the license of your client.
You could combine content and app into a single-issue app requiring no purchase of fulfillments but:
a) That won't work with Android
b) No options for login
c) Download will be heavy and users won't be able to start reading before the entire download has completed.
d) You would need to resubmit the app to Apple + Google + ... and have it approved again - which will take 2 weeks each time.
Single-issue apps are great on Enterprise when used on iPad/iPhone in combination with limited distribution to a sales team. We have made around 30 of those. Otherwise... go with multi-issue apps and fulfillment.

Deleting - reinstalling purchased apps– cost?

Hi all,
It seems there are several ways to iOS app from the iPhone or the iPad including from iTunes...
None of the techniques that I saw discussed the cost apps....
So if I had purchased an app - then delete that app from iTunes or through the IOS device - what happens if I later want to reinstall it? Will the app store somehow remember that I already bought it even though I deleted it and do not have to pay for again– or will I have to pay for it again?

You can see a list of all the apps that you purchased by going tot he AppStore . Select "Updates" and the top of the screen will have a link to your list of purchased apps.
In the app store, if you look at an app that you've already purchased, it will show either OPEN if its on your device, or a cloud icon, which means you can download it from your cloud storage.
Your app store account has a record of all purchases with prices. You can get here by using the "account" quick link on the iTunes App on your mac. I do not know how to access this with an iPhone, though.

IMovie Theater App cost

I have a mac, iphone, and ipad. I'd like to share my iMovies via the iMovie Theater. However, when I go to the App Store to look for the iMovie Theater app, I see it costs $4.99. Do users who have iMovie on their Mac have to pay for the App too?

IWork apps cost money

I have an iPhone 6 and i want to download the iWork apps that should be free and they are cost money, why?

The saying "Always read the fine print" really stands out in this issue. I did find the section you are talking about on that page, but if you look next to the part that says "Free apps from Apple" it has a tiny little 7 next to it, meaning fine print text number 7 (at the bottom of the page) applies for it. If you were to read the fine print in this, it says the following:
"7: iMovie, GarageBand, Pages, Numbers, and Keynote are free on the App Store for qualifying iOS 8 compatible devices with initial activation on or after September 1, 2013. See www.apple.com/ios/whats-new/ for iOS 8 compatible devices. Downloading apps requires an Apple ID."
This is probably why you cannot get these apps for free. It might help out if you go visit the website provided in the fine print, it may give you some more details.

You can view the purchase history on your account by logging into it on your computer's iTunes via the Store > View Account menu option, and you should see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it. Click on that and you should then see a list of your purchases.
If apps are listed as free in the store then they will be free to download, but some then allow you to make in-app purchases to unlock extra features - you can turn off in-app purchases on your iPad via Settings > General > Restrictions > In-App Purchases.
Some apps also allow for auto-renewing subscriptions (e.g. magazines, newspapers etc) - there are instructions on this page for managing and stopping them : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4098
If you have made in-app purchases or have subscriptions then you can try contacting iTunes Support and see if they will refund or credit you (but purchases are considered final) : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Purchases, Billing & Redemption.
You can delete apps from your iPad (you can't permanently delete any items from your purchase history) by pressing and holding any of the apps and after a couple of seconds or so they should start to shake. Then press the 'x' in the left corner to delete the ones that you don't want, and when you've finished deleting press the home button so as to stop the shaking. If you don't get the 'x' on any of the apps that you've downloaded (you can't delete built-in apps) then check that Settings > General > Restrictions > Deleting Apps isn't set 'off'

Does the phone app cost as much as a cell phone

My 11 yr old has a telephone now thru the i pod touch is this going to cost me as much as a cell?

There is a relatively new app called Whistle that is a free phone program similar to Skype, but you get a real phone number in your area code for free, and all calling in the U.S. is free. Only caveat is that calls cannot be longer than 20 min. And sometimes you have to listen to a short (8 sec.) commercial before your call goest thru. I love Whistle. I use it all the time on my 4G iPod Touch. Saves me on my limited cell phone minutes.

One-time fee. Certain free apps (like games) may be limited in the available levels of play, and may ask you to pay for a registered version once the free levels have been completed.

IWork apps cost $$ and I bought the 5s after sept. 1 (oct. 17 to be exact)

I bought my 5s yesterday (oct. 17) and when I go to the App Store it wants to charge me between $4.99 & $9.99 for any iWork or other apple apps - why is this? I thought they we're suppose to be free for new devices purchased after sept. 1?

I just downloaded some free apps from the itunes app store and my bank account just got charged for 3 separate $1.00 charges.

Sounds like they are verifying your CC account. This is normal for a company you deal with on a regular basis to take and remove small quantities from an account to set up the system.
If the debits are not refunded, take it from there but I'm guessing they will be.
As for the question regarding finding the app store, there are plenty of topics here today to answer. BUT...
Install latest 7 itunes software, click preferences and show applications.
Done!

IPhone 4 ordered through Apple Store app costs $699?!

I used the new iPhone Apple Store app to order my new iPhone 4. It checked my eligibility and said it would be $299, but the email I received said $699! It did the same thing for my wife and my father.

Did you try the *639# option on your phone? It tells you if you are eligible for an upgrade. I only say this because I'm also in year one of my two-year contract, but when I dialed that number, I got a text saying I am eligible for an upgrade, paying an $18 upgrade fee. Additionally, when I entered my AT&T info when reserving a phone today, my price was $199 (for 16gb).
Now I'm worried that I'll get there next week and they'll make me pay $399.

Back in 2011 I bought the app Bunny Munro by Nick Cave, I left the dark side of my PC and got my slef a brand new MAC, all the apps saved on my PC were lost. I re-downloaded the apps again on my new MAC, the only exception was the previously mentioned app. I can still find it on google, on itunes page, but it wont show in my itunes store. I'm from Slovenia, EU, so I think it has to do something with the location. Should I contact support, app cost me 10 EUR and it was pretty wicked, I'd like to get it back.

You have to log into your amazon.com account in a browser in order to purchase and download content. The ability to purchase and download within the Kindle app itself went away quite some time ago.
You can use Safari on the iPad to go to amazon.com.
