2 Adobe flash site issues..
Questions1:
I have a script error message of.
scene=scene1, layer=actions, frame=2, line=9. Error opening including file gs/datatransfer/xmlfunctions.as File not found.
how do I fix this, I won't load my site when I hit publish preview. Have been fighting with the idiots of Template monster for over two weeks and no help.
Questions 2:
On my template I have a page that needs to be edited, the template monster people wont help and I do not have the slightest idea how to go about doing it.
Simply put the "buttons" that should pull up a seperate little text on the page do not do anything. I need to know how to make the words into a clickable and how to set up so the text will show up(the text does not even exhist, each time I have tried the text either duplicates at every button or does not show up at all). I will send files its not too intense just don't know how to go about it.
And one more question..
How do I upload the site to register.com??? I am wits end, the uploading programs they have I don't understand.
I want to use filezilla to publish site. but I need a walk through.
Thanks sooo much in Advance.
Need to get the site up ASAP.
1. you need xmlfunctions.as in the gs/datatransfer directory
2. there's no way to tell you that without specific info about your template. for example, what "buttons"? what do you mean by "pull up"?
3. you need to enter your site's ftp address, username and password, for example, in the quick connect bar: http://wiki.filezilla-project.org/Using

After downloading Adobe Flash Builder 4 from labs, I have installed it on my Macbook Pro running 10.4.11. When I open the application after the install has completed I get the following error after saying next in the Adobe Flash Builder Setup with the "I'd like to use this product on a trial-basis" selected:
"Problem with Trial
A problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period for Adobe Flash Builder."
I have tried to shut down, uninstall and reinstall, but I still get the same error.
Any thoughts on resolving this issue. When I installed Flash Builder, it caused a registry conflict with CS4, which required that I uinstall all my Adobe software and run registry fixes (call customer support for this part). Once I reinstalled Flash Builder, I had the same problem you're describing now. From there, I had to wait until this site page was launched:
https://freeriatools.adobe.com/flashbuilder4beta/
Now, everything works fine.

Hello,
I am having the issue with the flash settings, where you cannot click on Allow. I am running OSX Lion, the latest adobe flash (10.3.183.7)
I have added the website to the Local Storage Settings by Site options, with Allow. When the space reaches 99kb, the issue comes up asking me to allow more space, but i am unable to click on it. The only way around it is to go back into the storage settings, change to deny, then back to allow, which seems to clear all the storage. then i can relaunch the browser and be able to get 1 page further in the book before i am prompted again.
Is there an actual resolution to this? I've tried suggested resolutions of updating to the latest flash player, which supposedly addressed this bug. Evidently not. I also manually added the website to the Local Storage Settings by Site option, which was supposed to resolve this as well, but it didnt.
As of now I am stuck, and unable to read a book for class, which is obviously a critical issue.
thanks.
IanHi Ian,
Could you try the workaround steps that I've posted in this thread?

Adobe flash player issues in yosemite
Ever since I installed Yosemite, I'm having issues with Flash Player. I go to a site with a video and get a window that says I have to install Flash even though I know it's already installed. But I download and install, and then go back to the site and try to play the video and get the same thing...a window that says I need to download Flash. I'm in an infinite loop.
Any help out there?
Rocketman1. System Preferences > Flash Player > Advanced > Delete All
Press the "Delete All" button.
Install Adobe Flash Player.
http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
Download it first.
The next step is important.
Click Safari in the menubar and select “Quit Safari”.
Follow the prompts and install it.
Restart computer. Relaunch Safari.
2. Allow Plug-ins
Safari > Preferences > Security
Internet Plug-ins > "Allow plug-ins"
Enable it. -
A couple days ago Youtube stopped working for me saying
Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old
version of Adobe's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player.
So i did.. First it didn't work, (saying it installed
successfully) but there was no movie showing it installed. I did
this installation at least 15 times. Then i started getting the
Failed report telling me to go to the troubleshoot site for Windows
adobe flash players.
i have Windows Vista (a 32bit i believe) and IE 7
I did what it said. when i got to the uninstall everything. i
did and then i couldn't get Adobe to install it back on! I tried
everything i could think of, i went to all sorts of sites to try to
find answers. I did the sublnACL and it didn't work. My internet
settings are fine.
Somehow i got the flash on my computer by saving the
installation on my computer and then installing it. But still it
didn't work. I tried to repair it. or open the documents and
install the update but it didn't work. Usually the Adobe flash
would seem to delete itself when i did that. it seems i have
restarted my computer a million times for all of this....
I've deleted my temporary internet files and everything it
tells me to do on YouTube (i love youtube BTW) and it still wont
work....
java seems to be working fine all updated and on and
stuff.....
when i try to download Adobe Flash PLayer 9 again it tells me
it installed completely but i don't see the movie...and YouTube
STILL doesn't WORK.... :(
i don't know if i have left anything out that i have
tried.... but PLEASE help!!! BTW this was after the Adobe Update i

I have a problem with a flash site I inherited. When I click
the back button in Internet Explorer it takes me all the the way
back to the Flash intro and not the last page I was in. This
appears to be a site issue problem it is not IE related. Any help
appreciated.Hi
The Browser cannot differeniate between so called 'Pages'
within a Flash site. To the browser your site is one page, when you
navigate thru your flash site it does not report 'Page'
changes to the Browser. However if your navigation changed html
'Pages' then it would work forwards and backwards.
To overcome this problem you have to put in your own 'Back' /
'Next' navigation within the flash site, recording any significant
page/content change and then allowing the user to decide their
direction using your controls.
Hope it helps -
I use goggle chrome and adobe flash 13. it will play most videos but on certain sites that it use to work on now will not load the video. there are some videos on the site that it will load and others it will not it just countinues to show the loading icon but will not load the video
Try this.
Download the Plash Player plug-in for other browsers:Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Install it.
Open Chrome and type "chrome://plugins" in the address bar.
Click Details at the top right.
Scroll to Adobe Flash Player in the list.
Disable PepperFlash, to force Chrome to "fall back" on the standard plug-in.
Realunch Chrome for it to take effect. -
hello, would u help me with my adobe issue? it happens that the adobe flash player doesn't work correctly on my computer with OS windows 8, i have got the most recen version installed and appears an issue in it, would you tell me what's going on please? [email protected] thanks
The Flash Player version that is compatible with a Windows 8 32-bit OS and a Google Chrome browser is Version 11.5.31.2. You might have a 64-bit OS, which may not work on a 32-bit OS (what a mess). I'm still not sure which version is compatible specifically for Google Chrome Windows 8, 64-bit OS. With the Internet Explorer browser, you can use Version 11.3.376.12 for Windows 8. Hope that helps some at least.

IS there any way I can view Adobe Flash sites on my iphone?
Is there any way I can view Adobe Flash enabled sites using my iPhone?
Search the App Store. There are some browsers that process Flash at their servers, then sent it to the iPhone. They are generally slow and unreliable, though.

im not sure what im doing here, im new and barely pc literate. everytime i install adobe flash i get something on my mixer that says name not available and it plays commercials at will, it goes away when i uninstall the flash so ...you tube insists i need a flash player to view stuff according to the pop ups and the non playing of the videos. however, i was watching you tube just fine and then suddenly it wont let me anymore due to the afore mentioned pop up recommendations. is there a patient kind soul out there who wants to help me out?
You're correct. Adobe Flash Player ISN'T causing the issue, but it occurs through Flash Player.
You can try TDSSKiller from Kaspersky. It won;t conflict with Norton and it's really easy to use.
I don't use IE for personal reasons (I'm a web designer and I see every day how terrible it is with everything from javascript to stylesheets that other browsers handle with no problems at all).
Browsers you can try:
Mozilla Firefox (I use it as my preferred browser - fatser than IE, more secure, and much more customizable)
Google Chrome (From the search engine people who also run YouTube. Has its own version of Flash Player built in)
Opera (not widely know or used, but a very good browser nonetheless)
Safari (from Apple - Every Mac has it, and some PC users swear by it. I'm a Mac user but I prefer Firefox) -
Keep getting videos blocked and a window saying adobe flash not available for this site. Is there a fix?
There are some browsers in the app store that do support flash. But you would be well served to read the reveiews and see if they'll work for you. They seem to have mixed results and compatibilities.
Adobe and Apple are at an impasse when it comes to flash. Adobe could never make aversion that Apple accepted, Apple wouldn't accept anything that Adobe made and now Adobe has announced that they're abandoning ALL mobile flash work....so those websites that depend solely upon flash will be needing to find a better way to accomodate the smart phone/mobile device phenomenon, because they're depending on what is not defunkt technology. -
Adobe FLash Player issues video playback green screen
My laptop is a week old. I cannot get videos to properly play especially in Facebook. I also had trouble with you tube until I opened internet options... advanced.. and checked the first item that deals with software acceleration. Even after this Facebook videos continue to fail. This only cures the You Tube Videos, Facebook videos still do not play. Audio is there but total green screen.
I have seen discussions about right clicking the video that wont play then uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration". When I am in Facebook on a video that fails I right click and that option is not available in the box that pops up.If the video that fails is from you tube. I can select you tube in the control bar for the video and it plays fine. Non you tube videos do not play at all in Facebook.
I decided to try Chrome. It had the same playback issues as IE except the video playback screen stayed black - but when I right clicked on the video the "enable Hardware acceleration" choice was there, I unchecked this and videos now play on Facebook using Chrome.
I prefer IE and want to fix the issue. Seems to me its Adobe since I do not have the Enable Hardware acceleration choice using IE.
Anyone ever heard of this? At one point I went to Control panel to delete all history from Flash player and the icon is listed as 32 bit. my OS is 64 bit. Is this an issue?
This is driving me nuts. Any help would be appreciated. "Just use Chrome" is not the response I am looking for. I want Adobe to work in IEFound a fix it appears. I found a page that said update adobe flash to windows 8.1. There was a link there.
Installed that update and all appears to be working now.
Funny thing is it appears this HP laptop came with a version of Windows that was 8.1 but the flash player version was still for Windows 8. All testing on adobe pages made it appear as if the flash player was installed correctly.
Thank you for the response -
The browser I'm using is Explorer 7 and my Adobe flash player is the version 11.300.268-----I have audio but no video. I can watch videos posted on U-Tube but not elsewhere. This started about a week and a half back. Can anyone help me? Thanks

Resolve Adobe Flash Player Issues
Today I really screwed up by installing the latest version of Adobe Flash Player. My MacBook Pro went nuts, and I've got to get that thing off this computer. I can't find it, and I don't want just to discard some files; I want to get the whole thing gone. Surely someone else has felt my pain. What to do?
Thanks!

First look in /Library/Internet Plug-Ins for FlashPlayer.plugin and flashplayer.xpt If you find them there, drag them to the trash. If you don't find them there, look in <yourhomefolder>/Library/Internet Plug-Ins . -
Hi Adobe team,
We are using FlashCS4, CS5.0, CS5.5 and CS6 for our team. While working we have been experiencing some issues as noted below:
1. File Save As CS6 to 5.5>5.0>4
2. Audio files dont get imported (all versions)
3. When we save as to lower version audio directly removes from the Flash file (all versions)
4. Software directly close problem (all versions)
Look forward to your support at the earliest. Here's a link to help with your audio problems.
http://www.theflashstudio.net/basics/_tuts/sounds.php#envelope
Some imported files just won't play. For these, you'll have to convert them.
I believe I did this using CS5.5 Adobe Media Encoder and it worked quite well. Just remember that, at times, the file doesn't appear to "synch" correctly at runtime because Flash bases playback on the Audio portion and not the Video part of an animation.
I hope this helps your situation (or at least the audio portion). Good luck!
Mike
