***3 = 3 error ? in Gem Rad 3.2

Did anyone have problem like this ?
It appears when I'm trying to load an applet connected to my security domain
Thanks for help

Looked at the install instructions from SAP : http://help.sap.com/saphelp_smp303sdk/helpdata/en/7c/125dfc70061014b91491f47674add9/content.htm
and it mentions:
Install Visual Studio 2010 or Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package. If you are running Eclipse on the same machine in which you installed SAP Mobile Platform Server, Microsoft Visual C++ is already installed
So I installed the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package - still getting the same error, I double checked My Computer and verified that it is 64-bit.
Thoughts?

  • Error on gem update sqlite3-ruby

    Hi,
I followed the instructions on upgrading rails to 2.0.2 per http://developer.apple.com/tools/developonrailsleopard.html
everything went fine until I tried to update sqlite3-ruby at which point I received an error installing sqlite3-ruby:
ERROR: Failed to build gem native extension.
    /System/Library/Frameworks/Ruby.framework/Versions/1.8/usr/bin/ruby extconf.rb update sqlite3-ruby
can't find header files for ruby.
This update was applied following the Security Update 2008-002. Rails 1.2.6 was and is running on mongrel server on dedicated site. The gem list shows rails updated to 2.0.2 and sqlite3-ruby at 1.2.1.
Same result after restarting server 10.5.2.
What actions do I take now or what am I missing? Does mongrel have to come offline? Your assistance appreciated.
    Harry

Silly me. I see a folder in the dock with an xcode icon on startup, so I thought xcode was installed. Folder changes to utilities I think after the server is up and running. Anyway, Xcode Tools has to be installed for the upgrade to sqlite3-ruby to work. The headers are located with Xcode Tools.
I found the answer at http://trac.macosforge.org/projects/ruby/wiki/Troubleshooting.
Following the installation of Xcode Tools to /Developer I was able to
    sudo gem update sqlite3-ruby
and all went according to plan.
BTW - I noticed there are a ton of items in the Xcode Tools install.
Once again, a little systems viewpoint would help in keeping the pieces tightly wrapped.
    Hope this helps someone else,
    Harry

I recently purchased a $10 iTunes gift card. But when I'm buying gems in Clash of Clans it shows that insufficient fund but when I checked my apple id it shows that I have the $10. Please help to purchase gem. Thanks in advance.

You can only use the US store if you are in the US, you are breaking the US store's terms of use if you aren't :
The iTunes Service is available to you only in the United States, its territories, and possessions. You agree not to use or attempt to use the iTunes Service from outside these locations. Apple may use technologies to verify your compliance.
If you are trying to buy $99.9 worth of gems with $10 then it won't work.

  • Compile error |gcc|header files

I'm trying to compile my rf driver (8139D chipset).
    I did install SWFgcc.
But when i'm trying to make the rf module, it says that mac.h isn't available.
So i did download it from the opensolaris project, and put it into the /usr/include/sys/ directory.
    But i got errors like:

First, it says there is a syntax error PRIOR to the "mac_t" - that means your INCLUDE ot whatever command is formed wrong, missing, etc.

  • Rational Application Developer support

I found a workaround for installing NitroX as a plugin for Rational Application Developer 6.
Initially, during the installation I tried to install NitroX as a plugin to WSAD but I received an error message that RAD 6 was not a valid WSAD installation. I then noticed that if I try to install NitroX as an Eclipse plugin to RAD 6, it continued with the install and seems to work fine.
Here are the specific steps that I followed:
    1. Launch the NitroX installer
    2. Choose to install NitroX as a plugin to Eclipse
    3. When prompted for an Eclipse installation, use the eclipse folder inside of Rational Application Developer.
    (ie: C:\Program Files\IBM\Rational\ADTrial\6.0\eclipse)
    4. Launch RAD and open the NitroX web perspective by going to Window | Open Perspective | Other.
    5. Choose the NitroX Web perspective (the Web icon with the "X" through it).
Seems to be working great for editing jsp, struts, and debugging.
Hope you find this useful - Mark

First of all it's java (based on eclipse), secondly - I think Mac OS is based on UNIX so some apps should work, maybe with help of macports or fink - but I can't manage to do so
    Thanks anyway

Ultra-10 systems have an Ethernet chipset integrated to the systemboard.
the functionality of its chipset has nothing to do with any add-on card.
Your quoted excerpt from your MESSAGES file tells us the onboard circuit is working fine.
Did you install the OS to this system, or was it already there when you got the computer ?
Do the installation again, with the system connected to a valid network.
The old install may have been done in such a way that when prompted
for "are you networked or not?" the choice made for "not networked".
Next time, say "yes, I am networked", then go through the additional prompts
that will be given to you for networking details (static vs DHCP, and more).
If software packages were omitted, they'd get installed this second time.
Alternatively you could just run sys-unconfig and answer all the
system reconfiguration questions after it reboots,
and hope that all essential software packages are there already.
Then consider using the Network Configuration Forum or perhaps
the General Solaris 10 Discussion Forum for fine tuning your setup.

    Please help.

    Hi!
I don't know if you've yet found a solution to it, but afaik this problem is caused by the ruby 1.9 version, because they don't use certain arrays anymore to compile.
You gotta wait for mongrel 1.1.6 or use webrick... oooooooor get ruby 1.8. That might solve the problem, but I haven't tried that yet.
If on the other hand it is related to gcc and make, then you're doomed and most definitely have to wait for a newer gem version. Uh yay... I've had this fun with the mysql gem last weekend... :>
Anyways, would be cool to hear, what you have found out...

  • RubyGems problem: Does migration assistant copy across xcode & Rubygems?

Migration assistant has finished copying across my data and I'm now trying to get my Rails apps running again (I was hoping that Migration Assistant would do the biz with RubyGems, etc). Is this related to xcode or the version of RubyGems? What am I missing?

Pretend you're in charge of writing Migration Assistant for a minute. How are you going to magically know everything about every piece of software everyone could possibly install in various locations on their system? Would you even bother trying, or would you focus on moving the things that most normal people care about and just assume that anyone who knew how to install their own stuff on the command line can probably figure out how to do it again?

    any ideas?

    G'day Stythys
As far as I know none of the ID3 gems are currently compatible with Ruby 1.9.
This repo on Github might be worth a try though.

  • SQL Expressions in RAD -Getting error during runtime while generating rpt

    Hi
We have just migrated from WSAD to RAD Version: 7.0.0.7.
The issue is: I am getting the error at the runtime when I am trying to use the SQL expression in my one of the report. The SQL Expression feature is not supported by this version of RAD. I checked the Help contents. It says
    Field Objects: SQL expression fields
This report contains SQL Expression fields. These fields are not visible in this version of the Crystal Reports designer, but they will be evaluated by the system when the report is executed. New SQL Expression fields cannot be created by the designer. SQL Expression fields will remain in the .rpt file after saving and can be edited by other Crystal Reports designers
To me it seems you can use the 'SQL Expressions' in the report using some Crystal Reports designers and at the runtime it will be evaluated. So I edited my report with some Crystal Reports Designer and tested it on WSAD. It worked fine. Now since we have migrated to RAD, this is an issue since I am getting the following error:

  • Errors executing SQL query in EJB 2.0 QL using RAD-6.0 on WAS-6.0

I have 3 tables in my database which is running on DB2 UDB ESE V-8.2
The tables are emp, dept & policy_master respectively
Table emp has columns id, name, deptid, and policyid. Here dept id and policyid are foreign keys which are referenced by dept and policy_master tables
In the dept table column deptid is primay key and non-key is dept name
In my policy_master table i have column policyid as primay key and non-key column is policy name
Now i want to find records in emp table by deptid column in emp table which should return a emp local interface
Now for that i had written ejbql "select object(o) from emp o where o.deptid=?1" using finder method namely findByDeptid(String deptid) in emp entity bean.
When i execute the entity bean using RAD Test Client,I am getting following 2 errors namely:
    1. "WQRY0036E: Emp o does not have a field deptid in ejb-jar.xml "
    2. "Class must implement the inherited abstract method CMPEmpLocalHome.findByDeptid(String) EJSLocalCMPEmpHome_0783c8c6.java TestEJB/ejbModule/sample"
When i analysed the problem i found that the deptid in emp bean is not defined as a CMP field in the map file & deployment descriptor that is why i am not able to write such kind of ejb queries. The deptid field in emp table is having a foreign key relationship with dept table.
    Detailed Discription of tables structure
    Table EMP
Column name Type name Length Scale Nulls
EMPID VARCHAR 4 0 No (Primary Key)
    FIRSTNAME VARCHAR 10 0 Yes
    LATSNAME VARCHAR 10 0 Yes
DEPTID VARCHAR 4 0 No (Foreign Key Refrenced By Dept Table)
POLICY_ID VARCHAR 10 0 No (Foreign Key Refrenced By Policy Master Table)
    Table DEPT
Column name Type name Length Scale Nulls
DEPTID VARCHAR 4 0 No (Primary Key)
    DEPTNAME VARCHAR 10 0 Yes
    DEPTLOCATION VARCHAR 10 0 Yes
    Table POLICY_MASTER
Column name Type name Length Scale Nulls
    POLICY_ID VARCHAR 10 0 No (Primary Key)
    POLICY_NAME VARCHAR 10 0 Yes
Now I want to find all record using findByDeptid method in EMP table. So for that what ejb ql I have to write.
I used "select object(o) from emp where deptid=?1" then I am getting error in "ejb-jar.xml" that field does not exist.
So please tell me how can I find records in emp table so that the bean returns a local interface.

Please provide some assisstance as soon as possible
