Try and reset your iphone from the settings preferences in the iphone software. Reset all settings. Heard this solves a lot of issues. If that don't work; restore.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try another cable
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Clean iPhone charging port with clean dry toothbrush. See if fixed. If not, and if there is Warranty or AppleCare make Genius reservation or set up service and take or send to Apple. If no coverage, clean again with toothbrush and small amount of Isopropyl Alcohol.

Reset the iPhone: hold sleep and home button at the same time until the apple sign is shown (ingnore the on/off slider). -
Has anyone else had an iPhone 5 that's only been dropped once accidentally and smashed the screen? Mine has done that and as I don't have mobile insurance it'll cost a fortune to replace it through Apple!! I don't think the phone is fit for purpose as any other phone i've had has been dropped and been fine and surely they expect a mobile to be accidentally dropped at least once!!

If you dropped it on concrete- that is the hardest material and chance of damage goes up tremedously. Actually you are fortunate not to have mobile insurance because then you have to trust your insurance provider to provide you with a quality replacement or repair.
Apple is always spot-on you know what you're getting. They can always attempt to replace JUST the display on an iPhone 5 for $149 + tax is what I've heard them quote others. But they said it's $229 to replace your phone with another whole new iPhone 5. Get the AppleCare+ because two of these incidents will only cost you $49 + tax in the future! -
My Ipod nano touch is not charging, not showing in my PC or laptop. Last I saw an apple icon and low battery signal. There after the screen is black and no power not taking AC or PC charge. What Can I do?
If the Reset didn't work, you'll need to do a Restore.
From iTunes, select the iPad and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finished, you will be asked if you wish the contents of iTunes to be copied to the iPad. -

iPhone 5 won't turn on. Went to bed it was fine, got up, wouldn't turn on. At all. Never been dropped or damaged in any way. Any ideas?
Actually don't hold down the Power button, but instead hold down the Home button until you see a graphic on the iPhone screen telling you to connect to iTunes. This is putting your iPhone into a Forced Recovery Mode.

Charge it with the supplied power brick plugged into the wall.
Most USB ports don't put out enough power for the iPad so the best way is plugged into the wall. -
IPhone will only charge on my car charger and not mains

My iPhone 5 does not charge on its mains charger. I insert the charger into the iPhone and nothing happens. I have also tried charging on my friends chargers and it still does not charge even though the charger works for their iPhones. However It charges instantly on my car chargers. I have 2 car chargers and it works on both. The car chargers are not cable to usb chargers but Kensington car chargers.
Any solutions?

Try restoring with iTunes:
Connect the device to your computer and open iTunes.
If the device appears in iTunes, select and click Restore on the Summary pane. Learn more aboutrestoring iOS software.
If the device doesn't appear in iTunes, try to force the device into recovery mode, and then restore it.

IPhone 5c wall charger not working?
I got the iPhone 5c yesterday and the wall charger is not working. The USB cable itself DOES work because I was able to sync/back it up with my computer and when I plugged it in with the iPad wall charger, the USB cable worked to charge my phone. I mean this piece is brand new out of the box. Not sure if anyone else has had this issue and if it's worth it to take the time to go back to Verizon to complain..?
Sorry that this happened to you right out if the box. You can try to take it back to verizon I would say that all apple products are covered for one year. Because your iPhone 5C is under that warranty you can go to any Apple store and they will swap it out for free for a new one. Just let them know what's appended and they will do it willingly. Hope this helps

IPhone not charging, not recognized by computer
Last night I plugged my iPhone in via its USB cable and the AC adapter and nothing happened... I tried my iPod's cable and AC adapter and it started charging, but when I got up this morning, the battery was still about 25% and not charging. I don't know when it stopped working.
I tried the iPhone dock with the iPhone's cables and AC adapter, the dock with all the USBs on my computer, the USBs without the dock, and nothing. When I plug it in to the computer, a notification pops up that a USB device is found, and then one a few seconds later saying something has malfunctioned with the USB device and that windows does not recognize it. iTunes never opens.
I've restarted the phone and reset it. I have not updated to 2.0.
The phone plays through the inMotion speakers I have (connected via the dock and the "line out" cable), so I think the connector on the phone itself is ok since it's sending music through.... is the cable bad? I'm a little nervous since my battery is so low and I have no way of charging it. There isn't an Apple store anywhere around me so going there is out.

That day I charged it for 10 hours, the battery indacator only showed 10%. I thought the battery was a goner. So I turned it off for 2 to 3 hours and when I turned it back on the battery was fully charged. Dont know if this helps you are not but you can try it.

The USB port on your computer probably doesn't have sufficient power output to properly charge it. Use a wall outlet.
