4S shutting of everytime i try to use the camera.

i have a 4s everytime i go to the camera icon it cuts out (black screen) an when it does that i would have to press the home button then the apple will come on and goes back to normal for a while, then whn i try to do other things on the phone the same thing happens again. what should i do to fix this problem?

1. Close all apps in the Task Bar. Double-click the Home button and hold apps down for a second or two. Tap the minus sign to close app.
2. Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 seconds until you see the Apple Logo.

Everytime I try to use the video camera, my ipod automatically restarts. I just need to bring the clicker to the Video section on the main menu for it to turn on and off again. I have to scroll over it really fast so it doesn't restart. My dad bought it a few months ago and I just opened it about a week ago. So far, I've synced it once, taken it out out without first ejecting it, and using it on a lamp iHome. Should restoring the ipod do the trick? Is this a common issue with the rest of you?

Every time I try to use the camera feature it won't work

Basic troubleshooting from the Users Guide is reset, restart, restore. Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.

Unless you have a black circle on your nose, there is a problem with your iPod.
Try a system reset. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until the screen blacks out or you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.

Most times when I try to use my camera, post a pic on instagram, or add lives on candy crush my phone just crashes. And by crashes I mean it goes to a black screen then to my home screen. Really frustrating! Any suggestions?

Since this all happening when using an app, you can try doing a reset.
Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.

Why does Elements stop working and shut down when I try to use the smartbrush tool?

I can use the smart brush tool until I need to change the color. The second I try to change the color of my object, I get a pop up window that says there is a problem and windows has to close to the program. I have already restarted my computer and it still does it.

There is an update available for Elements 13 which has stability fixes. Please install this update and let me know if you are still facing this issue.

Photoshop elements 8 crashes everytime i try to use the editor

Have been using photoship elements without issue
since it was released. today, i tried to sign on to the editor and received an error message. tried several times thereafter, page loads and then immediatly quits. what's up with that. called adobe they want to charege me 39 bucks to tell me anything.

Ichat crashes when I try to use the camera? Why?

Hello, I am a new mac user and I am figuring things out opretty well but when I use Ichat it works fine texting or audio but as soon as I cliclk the camera the green light comes on and then I get the pin wheel of death and then ichat closes. It even happens if I go into the video settings. The page crashes and I don't even get to see my setting options. The camera works fine in photobooth but not Ichat.... Can anyne help?

You should be opening your Hard Drive and in there the Users folder
In that folder you will have your Little House icon for your personal Home Account.
At this point you will have a Finder window open and your House icon will also be listed there.
Either in the main window after you have opened the House icon/folder you will see Library.
In the Library you will have loads of folders one of which is called Preferences.
This should have .plists for every app you have opened and some that are set up by the system for you like the Address Book and Font Book.
Some may be in other folders as well

IChat closes when I try to use the camera, help!

Hi all.
I updated to Lion yesterday and ever since then I'm having a problem with iChat.
When I click the green camera icon to start a chat, or when I go into Preferences and try to view the Audio/Video panel, iChat closes. Every time.
Tried restarting and various other things but no luck. Can anybody please help me fix this?

Alternatively go to the Hard Drive/Library/Input Managers and delete the Ecamm folder

My iPhone 3Gs shuts off when I try to use the red eye remover in the phot edit option after I got the latest upgrade

When attempting to edit a phot I pushed the red eye removal tool. The iPhone went black and the apple logo appeared. I had to hold down the power button for about 5 seconds to turn it back on but it never completely shut off this happened the next 3 times as well. It happened after I updated to 5.1

Are you running modified software on your phone? This error seems to be common if the firmware has been modified and you're trying to restore the phone again.

Live Type crashes every time I try to use the "Place" function.

Everytime I try to use the Place command and import a graphic, Live Type just shuts down. How do I fix this?

That's interesting Todd. You're on 10.4.5, and "Place" selection crashes Live Type. I'm getting the same thing on 10.4.3, so upgrading the OS may not solve my problem. Plus I don't want to upgrade the OS in the middle of a project. Bad Idea!
However I have a second system with 10.4.5, and the "Place" and "Place movie" work fine. So for the time being I'm going to build th graphics there. A workaround, but it's a little cumbersome.
I tried rebooting, reparing permissions, deleting preferences for LT, but those didn't help.
My next step is to re-install LT only, but I don't want to do this until I output the project I'm working on. (It's two months in the making, and I don't want to mess anything up.) I know it's overly cautious, but there's too much at stake.

Every time I try to use the camera on my 4S, the screen goes black and goes back to my home screen. Also, my call waiting does not show who is calling in when i am already on the phone with a caller. This just stared in the last couple of weeks. I'm very frustrated. I wonder what else isn't working that I haven't come upon yet.

You need to adjust your security stuff/ permissions and possibly use compatibility modes. It means that your licensing service is being blocked/ shut down.
