504g Pick Up Ring Group

We recently purchased 15 504g phones with 500s attendant consoles. We have a Ring Group (extention 300) which rings the sales phones (5 extentions) when an outside call comes in. I would like to be able to answer that group should someone be in another department after hours or when no-one is in the sales group desks.
I googled for Line Pickup and found that there are many "?dot asterix?" values to use, but when I look at my phone setting, under "Regional/CallPickupCode" it has "36". When I attempt to program one of the attendant console buttons to "pick up group 300"-nothing happens. If I play around with the "ext=" field, I do occasionally get an "invalid extension" message on the display.
I doing what the manual says for the example "Harry wants line button #4 to display red when Donna is on the line and to be able to pick up her call if she does not answer".
I also found some google text that said the feature was dependent on the SIP B implementation by the vendor (I don't have a clue what that means). Our vendor is Cbeyond and no-one at their technical support team has enough experience with this model phone to understand what I am asking to do.
Seems simple enough, program a button that answers an outside call that is ringing on RingGroup 300
I'm using (I think, I can't find the exact example again):
fnc=blf+cp;nme=Sales @ $PROXY; ext=300$PROXY

Thanks for your reply. I'm going to guess here and say "autoprovisioning-yes". That is, there is no equipment at the office-just their router-and the phones connect to their server in the cloud (well, technically it goes through a DMZ port on our firewall so I have the office LAN traffic seperated from the VOIP traffic on its' own LAN/network equipment).
I'm just looking for a way to pick up the "300" ring group call from an extention not in that group.
I've asked their technical support how to "pick up a call ringing" and they said the phones are too new for them and they don't know how to answer my question. The "36" code is what I found by googling and searching the (many) Cisco documents on this phone. I browsed to the phone and looked at this configuration page and found the value there. Allthough, it appears this is implemented with differing values.
This code is not assigned to any "soft key?" feature button, nor does it appear in the LCD screen as a scrollable option (like CFWD, DND, XFR).

Rsrb with multiple ring groups on head ends with one phy ring?

working on an issue for a customer and I cant find good documentation on this anywhere for multiple ring-groups
have 2 routers, each with 2 ring groups connected on a mau terminating multiple serial connections (wan, hence the rsrb) and utilizing rsrb tcp with local ack. The configuration was done sometime ago. It was set up to utilize frame which now they are using ptp t1s. I see in the remote routers they are forwarding pakcets to both routers to ring 20. (there are 2 routers if one fails then it is meant to learn its path to the CIP through the other router)

I thought the physical rings had to be different in order to run parrallel links. Or are different bridge #'s feasible? The end issue they are having is that when links bounce, they are not releasing the tcp session and the show llc shows remote sides as busy and the head end as connected. (then obviously removal of local ack fixed the issue)
Not ready to live without local ack... could the same ring # on both routers be the issue since they are on the same mau and destined for the same location?

And the remote routers connect directly to the cip with LLC2. (end to end connection, not remote to router 1 and 2 to CIP)
show llc shows the local mac of the gateway and the cip token.
the network goes like this

I have tried numerous things on this and its apparent that the only option is dlsw and I have pressed the issue enough to start on it with test segments.
my theory was when the host queried the gateway, its first reply was local-ack on rtr2 (could be rtr1 but for theory we will say rtr2) which was giving back RR and the other end was actually in a disconnect state and sending rnr's to the rtr1 (in this exapmple the host was talking thru rtr2 to the remote side and the remote side was trying the opposite router) which local ack would reply to the supervisor frames
what was causing the problems in my opinion is the host provider does not utilize local ack since they only have lanned token rings and the customer provides their own wan routers. So the explorer would be answered quicker by the other router and that would be the source route bridged path to the remote side, where the other sides local ack and rif cache was routing through the opposite router. Unfortunately the site where we collected the data on I can not test since I have transitioned it to dlsw to solve their issues and show them the benfits of dlsw

Pick and Pack Grouping Functionality

If you overwrite a ship to address in the sales order screen, and then attempt a pick and pack, pick and pack does not create different delivery notes for each different address. This is because pick and pack groups all the delivery notes with the same address code into the same entry. Instead it needs to distinguish upon the address value rather than its code.
A workaround was provided as follows:
As you can see by releasing to Pick List the Delivery Address on the row, you have to release all Sales Orders related to one Ship to Address together and separately from group of Sales Orders related to another Ship to Address.
In that case each Release to Pick List will have his own Pick Number and then if you pick all Sales Orders for one customer together, the Deliveries will be issued for each Ship to address separately regarding the Pick Number.
He has indicated this is not suitable due to the manual and timely procedure involved. As a result they need the "deliver" function to not organize anything by delivery address, and ideally have the option to set NO grouping to be applied. SAP have indicated that as this is new functionality, it will need to be logged via this forum.

I am not sure whether this solution works for you .Instead of throwing an alert , can you set up default network printer that when document is added ,it would be printed directly to warehouse .You can set up that Through system initialization--- Print preference --pick list --print when added document . Set up default printer as network printer .
It seems practical but throwing alert based on on each user and send alert to only one user might be complicated one.

I have created List with some people picker columns and now when I save a list,the data is saved to list as well as the users in particular column will be added to particular sharepoint
group. Is there any sharepoint out of box solution for this or I need to do it programmatically. Kindly provide me any procedures or solutions as you know.

There is no out of the box way to achieve this.You need to write a custom event receiver ,inside event receiver
event, you
can check column (people picker value) and add it to desired group if that user not exist already.

ECC WM Wave picking- reversal once Group is released

We have a wave picking process, wherein a number of shipments are grouped into a wave pick Group.Group is generated
-The transfer orders are generated from VL37 (Wave pick monitor).
-A consolidated pick list is printed by releasing the Group.
-The pick list is then used for the physical pick in the warehouse and transfer orders are confirmed by RF.
The scenario is, something goes wrong after the group is released and pick list is printed.Users want to reverse/cancel the transfer orders and amend delivery.Once done, deliveries need to be assigned to a new Group, so that a fresh pick list can be printed.
The issue in the above scenario is, once the Group is released, we are not able to dis-associate the deliveries from the Group.The error message is 'Change cannot be made due to status of reference number 103 2000000009

As deliveries cannot be removed from the released Group, the deliveries cannot be assigned to a new Group.
Is there a way to get around this?

I am trying to create a protection group for Exchange 2010. When it comes down to picking the servers and directories...I don't see an option for "Exchange 2010 Databases" as per the screenshot on Microsoft's whitepaper on Exchange 2010 and dpm

It looks like there is no DAG at the picture you've posted above, just 2 stand-alone servers: Exchange 2007 and 2010 one.
When using DAG you will see DAG object at second level at "Select group members" dialog, as it shown here:
You don't have to install DPM agent to all servers in the DAG though. 2-Step Picking without using Groups

Hi all,
Does anyone know if it is possible to implement a 2-step picking process that does not require creating and processing by groups?
I have a process which is not exactly 2-step picking, but the functionality supports it - except for the requirement to create groups for the TRs.
For my process, I want a one to one relationship between the removal TO and the picking to destination TO.
The reason I need two TOs is because during confirmation of the removal TO, I need to identify a specific bin where the stock will reside before the second TO picks it from there. There will always be a one to one relationship between the two transfer orders.
Any good ideas for a solution? I'm open to other suggestions.

The business process is as follows:
Production orders generate requirements to provide materials to production supply areas. Upon production order release we create TR in warehouse.
Stock is picked from various locations in the warehouse to a "train station" where is it loaded onto a train.
The train is then driven around the manufacturing site on a specific route and inventory is dropped off at each PSA until the train is empty.
There are several different train routes.
The requirement is for a train driver to know exactly what is on the train and to have a program which shows him what TO items are loaded and then sort those items by route/PSA sort sequence to send him on his way.
There is always a one to one relationship between the pick from warehouse inventory and the requirement at the PSA.
I was hoping to use two transfer orders - one picking to a storage type that allows you to change the destination bin manually, where the destination bin = the train carriage, which would be confirmed when the train driver loads his items. The second TO would then be triggered automatically to take the inventory from the Train carriage to the PSA.
I was then going to build a custom scanning program which would look at all the items located in the bins relevant to the train in question and find the TOs, then queue these TOs according to the route PSA sort sequence.

Outbound DID change | ring group

1. We have CCUM 8.6, and 50 DID that are by provider tight to main number. I have one user requesting his number shows up as external line was set up on his phone.
I think I should go with different route pattern than 9.@ so for example I can choose 8.@ and Calling Party Transform mask set to that number supposed to be shown on customer phones. Is there any other solution than this one? Also I would like to have only one extensions ability to use 8.@ so it can not be accidentally be used be other extensions.
2. I have two extensions that supposed to ring if someone dials specific number 800999xxxx from outside and insight (ext 333) to ext 110 and 111.
I need advice how to achieve this in CCUM 8.6 Thanks

Has anyone been able to apply group policy to a OEM (or Retail) version of Office 2013.
Particularly I am not able to set the Workgroup Templates Location.

Max that doesn't appear to be the case. We have volume media and click to run installs of Office 2013 and the latter simply do not pick up the Group Policy settings whilst the volume media installs do.

How to assign a group name for TV Shows on iPad

I have some 900+ Tv shows in my iTunes Library (all recorded and encoded locally - i.e., none purchased). When I open the Video app on my iPad and view "Shared" and the "TV Shows" tab, I see only a thumbnail. There is no name displayed for the group of shows.
When I view the shows in my iTunes Library I have a name under the groupings when I view them in the "Shows" view, like this:
Is there a way to get some kind of identification to appear for these same shows when they are displayed on the iPad (Video app) under the "TV Shows" tab?
I have tried putting values into many of the fields offered by iTunes but, so far, I have not been able to get any text to appear on the iPad under a group's thumbnail. Connecting ethernet to token ring

I'm having trouble trying to configure cisco 2612 router to connect SNA server to datacenter host. please refer to connectivity below.

the controller unit has token ring card installed on it and it's connected to router's t/r port..i configured the router with SR/TLB but no success, what we did we temporarily removed the router and add token ring adapter on the same SNA server then connect direct to control unit and it's work but we need to implement the connectivity shown above..thanks

I created a material group for service and then i removed (007)and created a new group(ser) .but whenever i created a any po and give Item category as D it first pick deletd material group (007)flows as a default then i have remove and give new one(ser) Even in material group if i click and give f4 ,there is no that matl group(007).how to remove that(007)

Like wise Whenever user create shopping cart in SRM , how the purchase groups is captured in the shopping cart.

Purchase groups are picked up based on the settings maintained in Repsonsibility tab of the Purchase group in PPOMA_BBP.
1.By maintaining Object ID(ID of the user dept node), this Purchase group is responsible to all users belonging to that node.
If you do not maintain Product category under Product responsibility then that Purchase group is responsible for all product categories user is selected.
Product categories in Extended attributes are maintained at parent level where a Purch org or Company code are responsible. This is not relevant here.
If you want to maintain an equation that a purchase group is responsible to only certain product categories then maintain those in Responsible product categories section. This will be helpful in certain scenarios like multiple purchase groups are responsible to the same user group and each Purch group looks after only certain product categories.
In this case you maintain Object ID of user node in Orgn Responsibility of all relevant purchase groups. When user create SC, system first check the combination of Object ID and Product category. If it find the right combination then that purch grp will be picked.
If no combination exists then system picks the purch group whose node ID is close to the node of user. Because you have assigned same user to many purchase groups.
So it is upto you how you define the purchase groups and product category settings.

Email to group cannot be sent

Hi all.
Problem with sending email to a group since installing 10.7:
This happens with a newly created group or with an old, existing group:
I add the member of the group (in Address Book), then go to Mail. Start entering the group name, Mail suggests likely hits, I pick the correct group.
Type email texte, etc..., hit "Send".
I get an error msg that states: "Cannot send message using the server name.of.server.here".
A bit lower in the (large) error msg, it states: "This message couldn't be sent because you haven't specified any recipients". !!!
In response, I've chosen "Try later", but, of course, nothing happens...
Anyone know what the problem is???
I'm going to send a copy to report the bug.

I would be genuinley happy if someone could tell me how to turn off this ridiculously repeating popup. One would think that after telling me about a thousand times that the response can't be sent, I really do get the message.
