  • Ora-12801,Ora-00018,Ora-06512 encountered running utlrp.sql

    Hi All ,
I am on oracle version 11.1.0.7.0 and OS is solaris SPARC.
I am applying the CPU April 2011 patch..
I ran the catbundle.sql file and post that , most of views under sys schema got invalid.
    So i ran @$ORACLE_HOME/cpu/view_recompile/recompile_precheck_jan2008cpu.sql
    and
    @$ORACLE_HOME/cpu/view_recompile/view_recompile_jan2008cpu.sql
Inspite of this they were invalid.
So i tried running utlrp.sql query and I facing these errors while running the query :
    ERROR at line 1:
ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P051
ORA-00018: maximum number of sessions exceeded
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.UTL_RECOMP", line 760
ORA-06512: at line 4I increased the number of processes.. but still I am facing this error... I am searching on metalink also..
    Any help would be appreciated..
    Regards
    Kk

    Hi All ,
This issue is resolved.. I checked on Metalink for a similar solution , it was mentioned to do the following steps :
    shutdown immediate
    startup upgrade
    shutdown immediate
startupDid these steps and i ran it again.. its working fine now.. All sys objects have been compiled successfully.
    Also , i came across this :
Number of Sessions Exceeded During Database Creation While Executing SYS.UTL_RECOMP [ID 749359.1]
I would have tried to increase the number of sessions to a very high value if the above solution had not worked.
    Thanks

  • Client with Patch fails to install - Build and Capture

    Hi,
We recently hit an issue where our Build and Capture task sequence, previously fully working, was deleted. As such I've had to rebuild it from documentation. So far so good. However when I now test it out, the sequence fails during the installation of the client.
It appears to be due to access to the patch, however I can't work out why. The installation flags are:
    /mp:sccmpri01.domain.com CCMLOGMAXHISTORY=4 PATCH=\\SCCMPRI01.domain.com\HotFixes\KB2938441\Client\i386\configmgr2012ac-r2-kb2938441-i386.msp
And the share is set for the network access account to have read/write/execute, and everyone to have read access. As it's a build and capture the machine is in a workgroup not the domain.
The error I'm getting is most detailed in the ccmsetup folder under the client.msi.log
MSI (s) (EC:4C) [15:51:37:441]: Unable to create a temp copy of patch '\\SCCMPRI01.DOMAIN.COM\HOTFIXES\KB2938441\CLIENT\I386\CONFIGMGR2012AC-R2-KB2938441-I386.MSP'.
    MSI (s) (EC:4C) [15:51:37:441]: Note: 1: 1708
MSI (s) (EC:4C) [15:51:37:441]: Product: Configuration Manager Client -- Installation failed.
MSI (s) (EC:4C) [15:51:37:441]: Windows Installer installed the product. Product Name: Configuration Manager Client. Product Version: 5.00.7958.1000. Product Language: 1033. Manufacturer: Microsoft Corporation. Installation success or error status: 1635.
I'm a little lost as to what to try next. If I install without the patch it's alright but then fails as soon as it hits the next step in the sequence.
    Any help would be great!

You can use a UNC path in the PATCH command (but I would not recommend it) but i expect that the process above evidently does not have share or file permissions to the msp file.
The way I do it is simply to copy the 32 and 64 bit msp's into the folder that is created by default:
    \\Server\SMS_sitecode\Client
That way, all you need to do is update your client package, and then change the command line so that it references the local msp file instead of UNC path.

What should I do for now?
    Thank you.

It will be wise to run the Oracle supply streams health check script to check your existing streams environment.
From the result, you can also open a tar with Oracle to see if they can help you with the setup.
In addition to the ORA-01403 error, you can also run some of the Oracle Streams packages (Managing Apply Errors) to see the full detail of what is missing that caused the Ora-01403 error.
I will also try to implement a smoke test using the simple heartbeat table suggested by Oracle Streams, if that is working, then you can begin your full scale setup in your environment knowing that the base Streams Structure is setup correctly.

  • Worker fails when running MSDODPCODE.sql causing ORA-33290 and ORA-06512

    Hi All,
Hopefully somebody can help / point me in the right direction. I'm testing the process of upgrading our R12.0.5 Financials (Database 10.2.0.4) to R12.1.3 and have hit a problem when applying the 12.1.1 Maintenance Pack.
The worker has failed with the following in it's log file.
    "sqlplus -s APPS/***** @/u01/app/applmgr/CGSYSTST/apps/apps_st/appl/msd/12.0.0/patch/115/sql/MSDODPCODE.sql
    begin
    ERROR at line 1:

    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_AW", line 67
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_AW", line 131
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_AW", line 792
    ORA-06512: at "SYS.DBMS_AW", line 767
    ORA-06512: at "APPS.MSD_AW_LOADER", line 10
    ORA-06512: at line 3"
It might be worth noting that I also hit the same problem when testing RUP 6 for R12.0.6 - it was partially because of this that I decided to scrap going to 12.0.6 1st and go straight to R12.1.3 - making it a much bigger upgrade.
    Thanks
    Andy

  • Replicate in Source fails with ORA-01403

    Hi,
I've set up a bidirectional replication between two Oracle 11g R2 databases (WIN11SRC and WIN11TRG). Initially, the data was consistent between the two databases.
Now, when I update a record in the source, I find it successfully got replicated in the target.
But when I update a record in the target, it doesn't get through to the source. It fails in the source and rejected by its Replicate. The discard file shows the following error when I tried to update the Department_Name column:
OCI Error ORA-01403: no data found, SQL

    /I'm working on GG version 11g R2.
    Thanks in advance.

You forgot to "ADD TRANDATA" (add PK logging) on the target. You did it on the source but just forgot to do it on the target. Here's how I know:
    1. It s 1403 - no data found. Usually a supplemental log issue.
    2. Discards shows:
    DEPARTMENT_ID =
I assume that this would be all or part of a PK. No data, not supplemental logging..
    Good luck,
