8gig ipod touch screen not lighting up can see if look closely but cant slide the unlock or anything either will not show up in my itunes either

ok so i turned on my ipod but the screen stays dark if look closely at an angle you can see the screen but doesnt light up
cannot slide the unlock slide to unlock and when plug in it doesnt come up in itunes
and help would be greatly appreciated

If you can't enter the passcode then you have to place the iPod in recovery mode and then restore the iPod via iTunes. For ecovery mode see:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore
Note that this requires using the sleep/wake button. If you are not successful then there is nothing else that I know you can do.

If it is a lightning to 30 pin adaptor, and you have a 7th Generation Nano it has to fit the Nano.

You need to contact Sony and see if they model you have is compatible with the docking adapter. It may not be.

its to slow to connect..so i decided to run for diagnostic to know y if i cant connect to itunes eventhough i have account..heres the result:

I travel all over the world, and so that is why I need one like that. It is unfair to the consumer, and frankly turning away customers like myself willing to pay high dollar to Apple for their product, who can I speak with to complain about this, because I know their are factory unlocked iPhone 4S' sitting in a warehouse somewhere just waiting to be shipped, and I want one. I know why, cause Apple signed contracts with each carrier so the carrier could increase their sales making customers sign 2 year contracts, I get it, I own my own business, but the delay of releasing factory unlocked ones is just not right and I should be able to buy one without having to buy it over in the UK where it is unlocked when it comes out right away, I should be able to buy it in my own country! These business practices we practice in the US need to stop, their is a demand that needs to be met with consumers like myself who don't need subsidized iPhone's with 2 year contracts with carriers and don't mine paying full price for an unlocked one, it is unethical in a sense, forcing the customer to buy it with a carrier contract and NOT giving the customer the option to buy it full price and own it themselves, OR, making the consumer wait a month for that option to be available. THEY SHOULD BE RELEASED AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!! THAT IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO!!!!!!

I understand your frustration, but when any form of rationing is required you have to prioritise. The number of unlocked vs packaged phones will be quite small and the number of unlocked buyers wishing to upgrade immediately will be smaller still. Against this you have the corporations sharing $billions between them.
It would, you're correct, have been fairer to release all at the same time, but fairer doesn't come into it: it's business.

I barely touch it and it reacts and then other times I have to wait seconds until it will react. What can I do to fix this?

My iPod Touch screen is so sensative that when I have my finger right above the screen, not touching it, it will open the app or click on the letters on the keyboard that I have not touched. How to stop this?

All of a sudden my iPod Touch 4 Gen (got for Christmas in 2012) has started behaving strangely. When I go to type on the virtual keyboard I don't even have to touch the screen and the iTouch starts acting as if it's possessed and will start typing those letters that I'm hovering my finger over ... and it's usually not the letter I want. Sync the apps to the iPod via iTunes. Make sure that the apps are chaec to syc and the proler boxes checked in the Apps pane for the iPod in iTunes.

I can see my external harddrive but cant access it.

I have a macbook pro, and a 1.5TB external hard drive. It works fine on my pro, but when I try and put it into a friends macbook pro i cant seem to access any of the files. It comes up on the desktop, and I can see the 4 folders inside it, but I cant open them or anything like that.
We have very similar computers (I'm not sure of the specifics but they are both pros) and mine doesnt have any problems with it.
Can anybody help?

The format is Windows NT File System (NTFS).
To be more specific, I want to put some of his albums onto the HD and then put them back onto my computer. When I try to move something it says... "XYZ could not be moved because "External 1.5Tb Cannot be Modified."
