9.2.0.1.0 Upgrade to 10.2.0.1.0 - Help

Hi,
My database version is Oracle 9i(9.2.0.1.0).
I have to upgrade to 10G Relase 2(10.2.0.1.0).
Is the direct upgrade supported?
I tried to run Pre upgrade info tool 'utlu102i.sql' in my Oracle database.
It is showing...

Hi,
I installed 10G(10.2.0.1.0) in a new machine (OS Windows 2000).
I transfred the the script %ORACLE_HOME%\rdbms\admin\utlu102i.sql
to C:\ Drive of 9i database machine(OS - Windows 2003).
In 9i database machine,
C:\>set oracle_sid=WACORR
C:\>sqlplus "/as sysdba"
SQL>@utlu102i.sql
DECLARE
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-20000: Version 9.2.0.1.0 not supported for upgrade to release 10.2.0
ORA-06512: at line 1523
Do I have to install patch 9.2.0.4.0 or higher?

    Sorry, downgrading the iOS is not supported by Apple, thus there is no official way to do so. Your phone was re-locked to the carrier it was originally locked to because you hacked it to unlock it. Apple's servers detected such & re-locked your phone. You need to contact the carrier your phone is locked to if you want to get it officially unlocked.

    please help, I have been trying to get my ipad to work again for hours without luck.
    After running the new software update on my ipad 2, I started having issues; device turned off by itself, apps couldn't be downloaded, etc (however it was at least working).
    Being frustrated with the newly born issues, I decided to restore the ipad, hoping that would solve the issue, however I ended up with the black screen telling me to connect to iTunes and when I connect and go for restore, I get error message 4013 and 21. I tried re-installing iTunes, upgrading my opp system, but nothing,
    Please help!!! Very annoying!!!

    You say "USB can't be the issue...".  I disagree.  There are thresholds, etc.  Maybe the iPhone passes some threshold, but the iPad does not.
    You might reboot all devices.  If that does not cure it, then check the TS3694 article I attached above.

    Hi, are you doing it through Settings or via iTunes? If doing it through Settings, try plugging it in via USB and updating with iTunes. Hope this helps.

    Backup is your best option if you have one. Reverting software will not bring the contacts back.

    Update Software button is available in iOS 5 and later iOSs.
    Currently, you need to take the iTunes route.
    Don't forget to backup.

    The option to update without the computer (Over the air) was made available with iOS 5. If your iDevice is using a version of iOS lower than 5, you will need to use iTunes on your syncing computer to perform the upgrade. Use the Apple link below as a guide for the upgrade.

    BUT... when your one year Education account ends, I do not think you will be able to renew at the Education rate

    There are some third party apps that claim to be able to copy music
    from iPhone to computer - I do not use any so cannot comment on
    their worth. Google may provide some assistance, but read reviews
    carefully before trusting your only copy of any data to such programs.
    iPhone is not meant to be a sole repository of any data. You should
    regularly sync either with a computer using iTunes and other appropriate
    programs for contacts, pictures, media etc. or via iCloud to protect your data.

    How did the music get onto your iPhone? If it was all downloaded from iTunes,
    depending on your location, you should be able to download again after update.
    See if that is offered in your location before counting on being able to redownload.

  • FIOS TV hasn't worked right since '"upgrade", customer service hasn't been very helpful to date

    A few weeks ago we were pitched a holiday deal to renew/upgrade for 2 years. This sounded like good value (upgraded equipment, new premium channels, etc), so we went for it. Unfortunately, we've had nothing but issues since.
    The main room STB (server) frequently gets an error message (Your STP has encountered an error and must reboot). Sometimes you can exit this and live TV will skip a bit but resume, other times the box reboots on its own. Unfortunately, whatever is causing this error renders On Demand completely useless. Any program started simply crashes with the same error message within the first 3 or 4 minutes. I've tried multiple hard resets of both the box and the router to no avail. The "client" box in the bedroom suffers from channel stuttering and artifacting due to the fact that the server is acting up.
    The first outreach to Verizon CS was via chat message and was very brief. There was a few minutes of basic troubleshooting (did you reboot the box? did you reboot the router? is it plugged in? etc) and the support rep stating they were sending me new STBs. A few days later, I received the new boxes and swapped them in. The error still occurred. My second outreach to Verizon CS was via a phone call and lasted two hours with the rep and I trying various things. We tried re-activating the boxes, he tried manually activating the server, etc, so after two hours we scheduled an appointment with a technician to come out to the house. First available appointment was unfortunately 10 days later (12/23). 
    Technician comes to the house on 12/23 and tries various things over the course of an hour. He checked the service box outside to make sure a good signal was coming into the house, everything okay there. He checked the signal at the STB and that looked fine as well. He ran some other tests but couldn't figure out the issue. As a last ditch effort, he tried replacing the router and the problem was solved. On Demand working fine, bedroom box is fine, etc. Everything was great for about a week until the problem returned.
    Third outreach to Verizon CS was a couple of days again on chat. I explained that the issue was provided a few weeks earlier and the rep told me that they could check the history on the account. I was then asked to explain the entire issue again which I did. I also mentioned that I was looking for a credit on my bill. The rep then immediately transferred me to billing to get the credit handled before I could respond. I again had to explain the issue to a billing rep and the credit was processed. I was told that I would be transferred back to support (where I undoubtedly would need to explain the issue a third time) and when I was transferred, nobody picked up. After waiting 30 minutes, I re-initiated the chat and explained my issue for a third time. As this point, all I wanted was a new router since this seemed to fix the issue last time. The rep wanted to troubleshoot the issue but I wasn't home at the time. I explained that I was fed up, had already spent two hours on the phone didn't want to spend any more time on the phone and asked that a new router just be sent. The rep refused this without troubleshooting and scheduled a call for 5pm later the same day.
    This was this past Wednesday. I never got the call. I'm still having the issue.
    I left Comcast for Verizon two years ago and it has been great. Until this upgrade happened. Paying more money for broken service is pretty demoralizing. And the seeming lack of care from Verizon CS is also pretty disappointing.
    If anyone has any ideas as to what the problem might be, I'm open to them.
    Oh and apologies for being so ornery to the last Verizon CS rep I spoke to on chat. I understand the issue is not your fault (I've worked in CS for 11 years), I am just really frustrated at this point.

    Your issue has been escalated to a Verizon agent. Before the agent can begin assisting you, they will need to collect further information from you.
    Please go to your profile page for the forum, and look in the middle, right at the top where you will find an area titled "My Support Cases". You can reach your profile page by clicking on your name beside your post, or at the top left of this page underneath the title of the board.
    Under “My Support Cases” you will find a link to the private board where you and the agent may exchange information. This should be checked on a frequent basis as the agent may be waiting for information from you before they can proceed with any actions.

  • Catalog hell since upgrading to LR3 from LR2. Please help.

    Ever since I upgraded from LR2 to LR3 I've been in a hellish runaround with my catalog. Whenever I start up LR3 a dialog box pops up asking me to "Please upgrade the catalog file "Lightroom_Catalog (original)" for use with Lightroom 3." It then makes a new catalog file. The problem is that I'm asked this question every time I open LR3 and I haven't had time, until now, to research the problem and I now have 3 different catalogs. AND when I allow it to upgrade the file I'm now getting a pop up saying "LR couldn't update the format of its catalog file because the file appears to be damaged." As far as I'm concerned LR3 is what damaged it in the first place. What can I do? I have jobs coming up and I just need LR to work and I need access to my catalog of photos. PLEASE help!

    How do you start Lightroom? Do you start via a Lightroom Icon or by double clicking on a catalog file within Windows Explorer or some other shortcut?
    Keep in mind that when Lightroom 3 upgrades your catalog, the catalog is saved under a different name, usually the original name with a "-2" appended at the end of the name. Your original Lightroom 2 catalog remains untouched, so if you keep opening that version it will ask you if you want to upgrade it again or if you want to open the Lightroom 3 version.
    Hope this shelds some light on your issue, otherwise please let us know so we can continue troubleshooting.

  • Firefox will not open after attempting to upgrade to v5, sys restore didn't help

    Was running 3.6 with no problems, but trying to upgrade today apparently broke it. The upgrade failed for some reason (the old .exe is still the only one in the Firefox folder & I can't find any files newer than April 2010 in there), but no matter how I try to run it, nothing happens - Firefox will not open, period. I tried reverting to last week with sys restore, scanning for malware with Malwarebytes, but still nothing happens. I'm using WinXP 5.1 media edition SP2 (yes, it's been around a few years but it works for me). I'm now using Chrome which seems to run just fine, tho I miss all my plugins.

    [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Kill_application With Firefox completely closed] (probably because you can not start it), open the [http://kb.mozillazine.org/Installation_directory application folder] (by default, C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox on Windows) rename firefox.exe to firefox1.exe, then double-click firefox1.exe. If Firefox runs without problems, it could indicate that your firewall is blocking Firefox.

    I am just beside myself. Safari wont work. I have broadband and all is well there, I've run disk warrior, all is well there. I've run disk first aid to check and verify disk. All well there. I upgraded to OS 10.4.11 from Upgrade on my g5, and safari wont load its face page; it just hangs pale blue highlight over half of this phrase "Go to this address."
    I have tried everything I know. I am just so disappointed in apple. So not understanding what to do. I am not computer saavy and this is such a disaster; this is my computer for my work; I'm a work at home mom.
    Please can anyone help me? I read people saying third party things, but I do not know what they mean or what those 3rd party things are by name.
