A startDocPrinter call was not issued

I had setup a printer on another computer in another room which is connected to the same hub as mine. everything seemed to work fine for a few printing tasks. All of a sudden I started to get this error message and do not know why ("A StartDocPrinter call was not issued" ) I have tried everything in the book .!

1. What are you trying to do when you are getting this error? (At start up, printing a document, which program?)
2. What is your current Operating system, Windows or Mac and which version?
3. What is the Exact model of HP Printer you are using?
4. Are you connected USB or Wireless?
If you are using a Windows OS, take a quick look here: Some Error Messages When Printing in Windows, if you have a password setup for the Windows printer share this could be the cause.
Try running the HP Print and Scan Doctor- It was designed by HP to provide users with the troubleshooting and problem solving features needed to resolve many common problems experienced with HP print and scan products connected to Windows-based computers.
Please let me know the outcome of the PSDR. I will watch for your reply.

    Welcome to the HP Forum.
    You might wish to remove (from Programs and Features) and then reinstall your Full Feature Software:
    HP LaserJet Pro M1136 Multifunction Printer Drivers
    Find the Full Feature Software in Category "Driver - Software Installation Software"
    Restart / Reboot the computer after the software installation is complete
    Next, if you have not done so, take a look at the Firmware Update for your printer; check Category "Firmware".
    NOTE:  You will want to install the Software first, then perform the firmware update on the printer.
    Finally:  If you like, you can update / check the tools in Category "Utility - Diagnostic Tools"

  • Lync client show contact is adding audio and the "Call was not completed"

    the incoming call show is adding audio, the call can't pick up. 
    User is using Lync certificated headset. Others incoming calls is able to pick up.

    To narrow down the issue, please test the issue with this issued Lync account on other computer Lync client (use the issued headset, then change to other well-worked headset), check if the issue still happen or not.
    If the issue not happen on other Lync client, it can be the issue of Lync user profile, please try to delete the user profile with the following path:
    %UserProfile%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync
    Also delete the Lync user configuration information in registry with the following path:
    HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Lync\[email protected]
    If the issue also happen on other Lync clients, it can be the issue of the Lync account itself, please try to disable it on Lync Server side, and then enable it again to test the issue.

    I call, telephone numbers or skye directly, than the text "the call has not been answered" popped up, the person I call answer, we talk for 1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day... no limits...
    Why skype tells me that my call was not answered when it has had?

        Lets get to the bottom of this! You mentioned this happens when at work, does this issue happen in all areas or just your work area? It seems like you have done your fair share of troubleshooting. Since this is not a known issue and it is happening with multiple devices, it is possible it is a network issue. Have we filed a network ticket? Also does this happen with all callers?

  • Too much "Signal Faded; Call Was Lost" message for the past two weeks

    I am using Verizon Wireless mobile Samsung Alias 2 for a few months. For the past two weeks the amount of choppy call and 'Signal Faded Call Was Lost' issue is ascending alarming proportions.
    The *611 VZW customercare does not seem to have a good solution in hand to troubleshoot and/or take a report of the same.

    Did you try tech support, Option 3? To call them it is required that you call from another phone.
    Is the issue only in one location or all over? If just one small area it could be a tower issue and tech support can walk you through to determine which tower may be the culprit. (If you are able to call in from that area) If they don't, ask them to and get a ticket number.
    Also try calling *228 Option 1.
    Final option is to have them ship you a refurb  as the phone should still be unter warranty. Or you could try at a corporate store also to get a replacement.

    I need to update my preinstalled iPhoto in my MacBook Pro, how ever i was not issued with the password needed for updating.

    AppStore software and the free iLife included on new Mac's is copy protected and can only be updated or reinstalled (free) by the original owner.
    If you bought the machine used or a "open box", the original owner should have wiped the Macintosh HD partition and just reinstalled OS X, but many don't do that or what occurs is the store reinstalls OS X free and then free iLife using their AppleID.
    So when it comes time to update it, you can't because you have a different AppleID and password.
    It's terrible hassle with all this mega-copy protection shenanigans because it allows someone to sell you a used Mac with tons of software for more money you later can't update for security issues and compatibly with newer OS X versions.
    So you can either to choose to use it as is, or wipe and reinstall OS X and then buy a copy of the software, then it will be in your name.

    I am having the same problem with my iPhone 4s with iOS 5.0.1.
    Symptoms: I dial the number and the phone's display shows "calling ..." and the red "End" button, but I cannot hear an outgoing ringer.
    I was under the impression that the phone on the other end (that I was calling) was not ringing either, but that is not the case.  The phone on the receiving end rings.  I cannot hear the person I'm calling (or his/her answering machine) if he/she/it picks up.
    My carrier is AT&T, but others in my office with the same phone/carrier have not experienced this problem.

  • Error when posting - Call up of feature PPMOD was not successful

    Good Afternoon,
    We recently completed an upgrade to ECC6.0 and this week we have seen two cases of receiving an error when trying to post payroll to FI using RPCIPE00.
    The error we are receiving is:  Call up of feature PPMOD was not successful, Message no. 3G100
    The diagnosis on the error message is:  Feature PPMOD has been called to set the employee grouping for account determination. This call was unsuccessful and suggests that we check the decision tree for PPMOD.
    While there have been some somewhat recent changes to PPMOD, I have stepped through the feature for both individuals who had this error and can find no problem with the logic in the decision tree. I've also regenerated the feature successfully. After searching OSS I found note 1243065, which is the exact error that we are receiving. The problem is that this note was included in HR support pack 44, and we're already on HR support pack 48. We also found a post that suggested we use RPCIPE00_OLD, but gave us the same error.
    My next step was to post a customer message, but thought it would be worthwile to post something here and see if anyone has any suggestions first.

    The issue may not be related to the note you indicated as this note should already be included in your system with SP 48. Please check what personnnel areas the errors ees are in, and see if they're in the decision tree of 'PPMOD' .
    If this looks OK, run payroll simulation for the error ee, put break-point in form 'CALL_549B' of program '/1PAPA/FEAT310PPMOD' and see what value STRUC-WERKS  (pers. area) is when it fails.

  • LABVIEW.LIB was not called from a LabVIEW process when creating unit tests

    We are developing a DLL to be integrated in LabVIEW using CLFs. So far we have the system working, but we wanted to create some unit tests in C as part of our release process. The problem is that when I link labview.lib in VS C++ and then call the EXE generated I get an error saying: "LABVIEW.LIB was not called from a LabVIEW process". As mentioned in http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361J-01/lvexcodeconcepts/debug_dlls_and_dll_calls/:
    "Calling the shared library from another C program is also another way to debug the shared library. By calling the shared library from another C program, you have a means of testing the shared library independent of LabVIEW, thus helping you to identify any problems, sooner."
    Some of our functions, however, use LabVIEW specific instructions and we would like to test them in a realistic environment (i.e., calling to the actual functions instead of creating stubs).
    Is there any workaround to this problem?

    Welcome to the NI Discussion Forums! I have a couple of questions to better determine the issue here:
    1. What is the LabVIEW version that you are using?
    2. Does your DLL uses Serial Compatibility VIs? If so, try using your development on NI-VISA instead of Serial.
    3. Are you using a Code Interface Node (CIN)? If you do, I see that from the help file you would need to compile the code for the new platform. Also, please remember that functions specifc to CINs (such as SetCINArraySize) will not work in a DLL.
    4. Be sure to include the header files in your program, like extcode.h. Please follow this white paper to link labview.lib to your program, or follow the Alternate Method.

    It's a security risk to post your IMEI number and I've asked the Hosts to remove it.
    If a second-hand iOS device has been 'Activation locked' then only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
    If you are unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all. Apple cannot unlock it for you.
    You should if possible return it to wherever you bought it and ask for a refund as in this event the device is completely useless.

  • Note 4 dropped calls and reception issues

    I am becoming increasingly frustrated with my note 4 to the point of looking at switching to a different phone and even provider. Since getting this phone I have had nothing but issues with inconsistent and unreliable phone coverage. The phone will be in 4G coverage with full bars of service and still cut in and out and drop calls. I cannot even begin to mark the locations for you because it does it everywhere. When I took the phone back to the store I was told it was not an issue with the phone that I must have been un areas with poor coverage. I find this hard to believe when I had no problems with my previous phone. My previous phone was a Samsung Galaxy s4. The only reason I got rid of it was because the charging port stopped working.

    The phone is under a year old and still under warranty. Contact both Samsung and AT&T warranty department and figure out the best way to get a replacement phone. Im hoping Samsung will send you a new phone, ATT sends a refurbished, like new device.

    Yes, the Old Master file has a folder for each year where I find all photos from that specific year. I am attaching a screen shot of the file.
    In the meantime i have managed to download all photos (it did not download any video files though in mpg, avi, 3gp, m4v,mp4 and mov format) to a new iphoto library. Unfortunately the photos are quite mixed and often doubled up. I ma considering to purchase iphoto library which checks all duplicates in iphoto. this will save me a lot of time. What do you think?

    Try resetting the SMC and PRAM first, if that doesn't help try a cleaning disc.....and then buy an inexpensive external burner. Slimline super drive failures are all too common.
    To reset the SMC
    Shut down the computer.
    Unplug the computer's power cord.
    Wait fifteen seconds.
    Attach the computer's power cord.
    Wait five seconds, then press the power button to turn on the computer.
    Resetting NVRAM / PRAM
    Shut down your Mac.
    Locate the following keys on the keyboard: Command (⌘), Option, P, and R. You will need to hold these keys down simultaneously in step 4.
    Turn on the computer.
    Press and hold the Command-Option-P-R keys before the gray screen appears.
    Hold the keys down until the computer restarts and you hear the startup sound for the second time.
    Release the keys.

    I was using OS Snow Leopard and on 8/1/13 I downloaded Mountain Lion.  Then I found out it was not compatible with my HP Printer (HP Photosmart C5580 all-in-one) so I called Apple support and the tech told me to erase the hard drive instead of going in the time machine.  Well I did that and then it took about three hours three days a week for about three weeks on the phone with an apple tech to get all my stuff back on my computer.  I have had trouble with my printer (won't do the scan anymore and wasn't printing on my DVDs.  Also the computer keeps freezing up when it is in the sleep mode, etc.
    When I tried to list my problem on this forum it lists your OS at the bottom and mine had Mountain Lion listed as what I was using so apparently it didn't erase it.  Want to know how to get Mountain Lion off and put my Snow Leopard on so things start working right.

    Go to the  menu/About This Mac - what OS version shows there?
    Do a backup, preferably 2 separate ones on 2 separate drives.
    Revert to a Previous OS X
    Revert to Snow Leopard
    If you do revert, I'd use Setup Assistant to restore your data. This process takes a while, so do it when you won't need the computer for several hours, based on my experience.

    Has your carrier been having issues with Call Display? Do the telephone numbers come up when people call, or does it just show 'Unknown Number' or 'Blocked' ?

    Hi, I have an Nvidia Quadro FX 4800 video card running under Windows 7 Pro.  It should support OpenGL in After Effects CS4. However, when I check to see if OpenGL is active in After Effects CS4, the OpenGL box is grayed-out and the message "No compat
