A way to change stroke width on form boxes?

Although I'm aiming to have people digitally use these forms, there exists a good chance that some will be filled out by hand. When I print these forms out the form field boxes are rather small and surrounded by a thick border.
Is there a way to change the form field box size?
Is there a way to chance the stroke width surrounding these boxes?
Thanks!

I am guessing that the form filled by hand will be done via printing the PDF form. Is this correct?
You can resize the field box in the Design tab in FormsCentral by drag and drop of the bottom right corner of the field editable box (true for multi-line text field). To increase the height of single line text field then you need to use a bigger font by selecting the form element on the form and chaging the font size in toolbar.
You can not change the border color or thickness for the HTML web form but you can do some post-editing of the form in Acrobat if you want to modify the borders in the PDF file.

    Is there a way to change the LUt extension form .CUBE to .cube. on export with this script in photoshop For MAC:

    The file extensions are written by the export plugin.  (which incidentally has a comment that two studios wanted all caps extensions, but I failed to write down which ones in the comments)
    To change the filenames, you'd want to add something at the end of doExportLUTs() that uses the supplied path and substitutes the desired extensions, then renames the file.
    Thank you

  • Change stroke width of frames

    Hi Friends,
    How to change stroke width of all frames eg:rectangle frame, ellipse frame, polygon frame.
    Regards,
    Balaji

    Okay, it does not work. So what doesn't work?
    (After trying) oh, it says this
    Error Number: 55
    Error String: Object does not support the property or method 'PageItem'
    Your selection already is a page item (or it should be, when you selected just "objects"). Use this instead:
    var change = app.selection;
    for(var idt=0;idt<change.length;idt++)
      change[idt].strokeColor = "None";
      change[idt].strokeWeight = 0;
    There is a slight over-kill here, because setting the stroke color to [None] will automatically set the weight to 0, but that's nothing dramatic.

    Is there a way to change fixed width Flat file connection manager to delimited without losing all the column names ?

    Unfortunately not as it is a quite dramatic change causing the metadata being refreshed. I would try to open though the package file in a text editor and find them before doing the change, then after you made the change to the FF connector try to reconstitute
    / replace the autimatically generated columns with the old names.

    The user needs to be able to change the stroke width of their selection. Make all strokes twice as thick, for example, regardless of whether the selected strokes have different widths. This needs to be an effect as well, so it can be applied to symbols.

  • Any way to change aspect ratio via youview box?

    I have a Sharp LC-13SH1E 20" tv. Since replacing the Vision box with the new Youview box 3 days ago, the picture is all stretched and elongated up/down. BT advised changing the aspect ratio on my tv but there is no way of doing so on this tv.
    This is the advice i received from a pc forum:
    "It sounds like the YouView box is outputting a widescreen image, and because your TV's has an aspect ratio of 4:3, everything looks stretched vertically.
    I've had a look at the manual for TV too but there don't appear to be any options for selecting the aspect ratio. I've also looked at the YouView box manual expecting to see the same sort of options I get on my Sky Box such as 16:9, 4:3, 4:3 letterbox, etc. The last two are the ones relevant to your setup. I can't unfortunately find the same settings for your YouView box. Have a good look yourself and hopefully you'll find there is indeed a way to change the box's aspect ratio to 4:3.
    Good luck."
    Can anyone help please? Been round and round in circles with the **bleep** thing.....

    Actually, i have another question... since i was not made aware of this design fault when i took out the contract, can i cancel it? Really cross.
    The picture should be displayed on your TV in a letterbox - a wide thin image in the horizontal middle with black bars top and bottom. If you're seeing it any other way the chances are your TV IS doing something to the picture.
    I think the problem is actually that the TV isn't doing anything to the picture. It's just treating all signals as though they are 4:3 regardless of what the WSS indicator is telling it (SCART Pin 8 ?). Hence 7ft-person-o-vision. This seems a bit daft considering widescreen transmissions have been around for donkeys years long before digital TV or Freeview and Youview. The TV does seem to have a fundamental design fault. I have a 14 year old portable 4:3 CRT TV and even that allows me to display widescreen transmissions correctly in letterboxed format.
    cath60,
    I can appreciate that you might have assumed a new box would do the appropriate 4:3 reformatting like the BT Vision box does, but I guess they have to phase out support for certain things at some point in time. All the BT boxes after the silver ones also had the picture output over RF cable facility removed as well which annoyed a lot of customers. Sky have now removed that from their latest boxes as well. Things move on. It's just unfortunate that you happen to also have a TV that seems to have been designed with no thought for widescreen transmissions.

  • Change stroke width with AS3?

    So, I have a movie clip which consists of a filled vector circle with a stroke. Is it possible to increase/decrease the stroke to a specific thickness in pixels with actionscript whilst the swf is playing?
    Thanks
    T

    If you draw a circle dynamically using graphics API then its possible to chage the stroke by using lineStyle method.
    But if that circle has already been drawn and placed in the stage, I don't think you can change it's stroke.
    Can I ask, why don't you draw it dynamically using actionscript. It's so easy.
    //make sure you import relavent apis
    import flash.display.LineScaleMode;
    import flash.display.CapsStyle;
    import flash.display.JointStyle;
    public var _cricleObj            :Sprite;
    public var _lineSize            :Number    = 1;
    //Now draw your circle
    _cricleObj = new Sprite();
    _cricleObj.graphics.lineStyle(_lineSize, 0xFFFF00, 1, false, LineScaleMode.VERTICAL, CapsStyle.NONE, JointStyle.MITER, 3);
    _cricleObj.graphics.beginFill(0xFF,1);
    _cricleObj.graphics.drawCircle(0,0,50);
    _cricleObj.graphics.endFill();
    _cricleObj.addEventListener(Event.ENTER_FRAME, reDrawCircle);
    public function reDrawCircle(e:Event):void
                _lineSize +=1;
                _cricleObj.graphics.clear();
                _cricleObj.graphics.lineStyle(_lineSize, 0xFFFF00, 1, false, LineScaleMode.VERTICAL, CapsStyle.NONE, JointStyle.MITER, 3);
                _cricleObj.graphics.beginFill(0xFF,1);
                _cricleObj.graphics.drawCircle(0,0,50);
                _cricleObj.graphics.endFill();
    thats all.

  • Is there a way to change column width in Numbers on iPad?

    Using Numbers on both iPad and MacBook Pro.  On iPad I cannot figure out how to make some columns wider, and when I import a spreadsheet from my MacBook to the iPad  the columns all become uniform size.  too skinny for what I want to do.

    If I get my hands on an iPad with Numbers I'll try to figure it out. In the interim, you coud post your question in the iOS iWork area and see if you get a bite there.

  • How to change the width and height of the visible part of the of the report

    I have define a report with paper size 'Letter', orientation 'landscape' and 30 columns. Dynamically I am changing width of columns and suppressing many columns of the report.
    Mostly using first 16-20 columns and others get suppressed.
    Now problem is that when navigating the report thru crystal viewer, a huge blank spaces getting display on right of the report. When we take jump to some part of report thru navigation tree, the whole report gets shifted to left and only blank part is visible and it is required to scroll left.
    Even printing is not working correctly.
    Is there any way to change the width and height of the visible part of the report in the viewer thru .net classes? Setting the width and height of the report in Load event handler doesn't help.
    Example: CrystalReportViewer1.Width = 200; - is not helping.
    Is there any other solution?
    Please let me know.
    Thanks
    Mahesh Patel

    Hi Yogesh,
    Your suggestion 'reportDocument.PrintOptions.PaperSize=PaperSize.PaperLedger;' along with 'PaperOrientation' setting as follow works fine. I tried to switch between Landscape and Portrait depending on report width.
    reportDocument.PrintOptions.PaperOrientation = PaperOrientation.Landscape;
    But problem with crystal viewer remain as it is.
    While navigating report thru crystal viewer, when we take jump to some part of report thru navigation tree, the whole report gets shifted to left and it is required to scroll left.
    Thanks for your very good suggestion.

    I did the same, opened the data model typed some dummy character and then deleted them, if u give the alias for the source it does not change the width, instead if u give the original name as the source it changes the width. I do not know why is this happening?

  • How to change the width of the whole portlet layout?

    Dear all,
    As we know, now the width of portlet layout has set to 100%. But there is a new requirment from my customer that the width of the whole portlet layout view must be set to 750px.
    So I tried to edit the css file and I found a block:
    #pt-portal-content-view
         margin-top: 0px;
         width: 100%;
    I tried to change the width to 750px, but nothing happened.
    I want to know the way to change the width, thank you all!
    Regards,
    finall
    OK,I have found the place to do it:
    .portalContent          {
         display: block;
         width: 750px;
    I set to 750px,then it works.:-)
    But another question, how to make the content align to the center? I tried a stupid method, add margin-left:
    .portalContent          {
         display: block;
         width: 750px;
         margin-left: 120px;
    In 1024 X 768, it's ok, but it don't work well in 800 X 600.
    When I set the all content width to 750px, I tried the three columns view, the portlet still run over the border.If there is any way to control this? thank u in advance!
    Regards,
    finall
    Edited by finall1980 at 02/01/2007 10:09 PM

    Try this:
    .portalContent {
    display: block;
    width: 750px;
    margin: auto; /* for properly-implemented browsers */
    text-align: center; /* for IE 6 */
    As for running over the 750px, there's nothing you can do about that other than actually narrowing the columns AND making sure that your portlet authors don't produce content that's too wide.

  • Change Automatic Stroke Width?

    Doing very complicated work that needs me to constantly switch an object from stroke to fill, except the stroke width of 1 is way too huge at the scale I work at so every time I change it I also have to specify the stroke as 0.1 so I can see what I'm doing.
    Has anyone heard of a way I can set the stroke width it automatically goes to?

    Well yes in that circumstance, yes it does seem to work that way But I do not actually recall myself ever using that function.
    I t would not be a bug since the weight appearance is sticky and you have swap it to 0 an it is no longer .1 so it defaults back to 1.
    As I wrote if you don't change the line weight then you are fine and so if you have to do tis for some reason you would have to change the stroke weight back to .1 as I indicated.
    It makes sense to me the OP indicated they want to keep the stroke weight consistent throughout the whole art creation procedure for that document so I do not see how this could possibly interfere with that scenario?
