About biztalk adapter
Hi guys,
i need to interface a IBM MQ system, have BizTalk 2013 a out of the box adapter for it ?
A last question: which are a difference between a Standard and Enterprise Edition ?
Thanks in advance
Hi,
Yes, MQSC Adapter. Refer: BizTalk
Server: MQSeries and MQSeries Client (MQSC) adapters
Installation of the MQSC adapter in BizTalk
Answer to your other question, BTS Standard only run on a single BizTalk server with a maximum of two CPUs, maximum of five "BizTalk Applications", How ever, Enterprise does not
have such limitations.
BizTalk 2013 Standard and Enterprise just have same
new features with the same limitations for standard edition.

Problem about Biztalk SAP adapter running on 64-bit host instance.
Hi there
Both 32-bit and 64-bit host instances are running. We use WCF-Custom adapter to communicate with SAP. And for WCF-Custom adapter, we assigned a 64-bit host.
We copied all the library files in rfcsdk32bit to folder Windows\System32, and those in rfcsdk64bit to folder Windows\SysWOW64.
All is going just fine until we can not enable the receive location retrieving data from SAP with WCF-Custom adapter and BindingType sapBinding. Error information as below:
Reason: System.BadImageFormatException: Could not load file or assembly 'Microsoft.Adapters.SAP.SAPGInvoker.dll' or one of its dependencies. is not a valid Win32 application. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800700C1)

This problem disappears right after we switch the host for WCF-Custom adapter back to a 32-bit host, which is for sure.
Some gudiance instructed: Both 32-bit rfcsdk library files and 64-bit rfcsdk library files need to be copied into both two directories above. But most of the filenames are overlapped obviously. How come they can exists under a same directory?
Or do I just get the wrong 64-bit rfcsdk? Does anyone happen to have by hand? I already serach through SAP download site. My rfcsdk files list is below:

icudt34.dll

Tracing in a Custom Biztalk Adapter
Hi,
we have developed a custom adapter in BizTalk for BTS 2013 using the BizTalk Adapter Framework(BAF) approach.
I want to understand how we can implement some tracing in the Adapter code.
Essentially, once deployed to production, if the adapter fails for some reason, I would like to enable a switch to trigger tracing.
Has anyone done anything on this lines?
please assist.
regards,
MSYou can consider implement BizTalk CAT Instrumentation Framework Controller tracing code in your custom adapter.
Microsoft product team uses this in BizTalk extensively. CAT has been used virtually by all major infrastructure components inside the BizTalk runtime, including
EPM, transport adapters, Message Agent, etc.
Once it’s been implement in your code, it provides the full operational flexibility enables switching the tracing on and off as well as changing the trace level
dynamically, making it easy to perform detailed tracing in production environments without requiring reboots or application restarts.
Performance wise, there is no other tracing component can beat this as of now.
Read more about this component from MSDN blog:
Best Practices for Instrumenting High Performance

Does WLI include BizTalk adapter ?
I You know, please help my.
Thanks
alexI've not tried this yet but I though the adapter pack was very specific about the version of oracle client/odp.net you had installed for it work. I can give this a go I guess as I've nothing to lose but just wanted to get thoughts from community
first.
Today I’ve been doing some reading online and the content I've read suggests that the latest version of the oracle database 11.2 is supported in v2.0 of the adapter pack. However if anyone can tell me different I'd be very glad.
According to this forum it only supports 11.1 and not 11.2
http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/biztalkr2adapters/thread/4dda77bf-6e77-461f-9615-16882d439f88
According to the official Installation Guide which I found online it is not supported.

Does BizTalk adapter pack 2010 support SAP ECC6 EHP5?
SAP Adapter BizTalk Adapter Pack 2.0:

R/3 4.6c Non-Unicode, SAP ERP 6.0 with EHP 4.0
None specifically says it supports ECC 6.0 EHP5. But, I was able to find several posts that they are integrating with SAP ECC 6 EHP5 using BizTalk adapter. However, I would like to make sure whether Microsoft officially supports or not in case of technical
issue occurs.
Does anyone have an answer?I appreciate your response but I'm afraid that the information you have given is what I looked up before and thought they can't be an answer. As I already have stated in my question, I found several posts saying that they are integrating with ECC 6.0 EHP5
with BizTalk Adapter. With that, I can assume the BizTalk Adapter would work with EHP5 of ECC 6.0 as EHP is just an EnHancement Package. However, it does not mean Microsoft will support it when there is a technical issue unless it is stated so. So, what I
want to confirm here is more about liability. I cannot suggest my client to use BizTalk based on assumption.
To save anyone else's time, following are SAP versions supported by each BizTalk Adapter pack. None specifically mentions EHP 5. Can anyone from Microsoft or partner confirm this??

Issue about IDoc Adapter Receiver Channel's Performance
Hi Everyone,
Currently, I am working on a scenario of File -Integration Process - IDoc in XI 3.0 with patch level 16. The scenario works fine when it process one/two/three files in parallel, and the IDocs arrive R/3 system quite fast. But when I try four files in parallel, the whole XI server blocks, I can not do anything even logon Integration Builder, and the IDocs arrive R/3 brokenly, sometime with the invterval to 10 minutes. When the XI comes back, I found all the four integration processes finish successfully and each transaction works fine and fast. What's more, after I change the IDoc Adapter receiver channel to a File Adapter receiver channel, it works fine for even 20 files in parallel. So I think it is some issue about IDoc Adapter receiver channel. Does anyone have the same experience as me? Any comments will be appreciate.
Regards,
NickHi Nick,
Can you check this Blog-
/people/sreekanth.babu2/blog/2005/01/05/delayed-xi-message-processing
May be useful.
How are you picking the files .. You can try with EOIO options while picking the file.
But if you use BPM, it is not applicable. It will act as a EO only.
Check this SAP Note- 833740

Please anyone explain me about HTTP adapter
Can anyone explain about HTTP Adapter (sender, receiver) End to End implementation with screen shots?
HI
HTTP Adapter
The HTTP Adapter allows connection between the Integration Server and application systems. External systems connect to the Integration Server using the native HTTP interface (HTTP payload without SOAP envelope) which is converted to XI protocol (SOAP with header enhancements). The HTTP Adapter allows synchronous and asynchronous message functionality

Info about CIDX adapter with a scenario
Hi all,
Can any one help me out by giving ino about *CIDX* adapter: Where its used and how its used with an example scenario
In a nutshell complete info about CIDX
I would be very gartefull
Thanx in advanceHi Prabhakar,
CIDX Adapter is Chemical Industry standard for data exchange in B2B scenarios. It uses XML formatted in different manner specific to Chemical industry.
In order to use this, you need to purchase the license.
There are xml schemas provided by CIDX for each transaction like Order Create, Order change, shipping instruction etc..
You need to download the once which are required in your scenario and use the same.
For overview of CIDX in general you can visit http://www.cidx.org -

Hi,
There is this little concept about RFC adapter
I would like a liitle clarifiaction about..
Here it goes..
Let's just say I have made an RFC in R/3.
The same I have imported In xi.
now when we say RFC ...By definition
it is a remote enabled function module.
We import the "interface" of the Same in Xi
So if I make changes in the BODY of the RFC in
R/3... do i need to reimport it in XI.
Besides when XI's reciver RFC adapter is using the
Rfc's interface to make changes in R/3
is it using a Copy of this RFC created in R/3
I would like to intercep at the point it's doing so...
tried putting a break point in the body of rfc.
Another question is regarding RFC sender adapter
Program ID..tcp Ip protocol.
Conceptually How does this connectivity takes place
I tried and it worked ...
I dunno How to explain this connectivity taking place
just on the basis of PROGRAM ID...
Kindly HelpHi Deepak,
+
>>We import the "interface" of the Same in Xi.So if I make changes in the BODY of the RFC in R/3... do i need to reimport it in XI.+
Yes you have to.
>>Another question is regarding RFC sender adapter.Program ID..tcp Ip protocol.Conceptually How does this connectivity takes place I tried and it worked ...I dunno How to explain this connectivity taking place just on the basis of PROGRAM ID...
·An RFC server program registers itself under a program ID to an SAP gateway (not for a specific SAP system).
·If an RFC call is passed on from any SAP system to this SAP gateway with the option Connection with a registered program (with the same program ID), the connection takes place with the corresponding JCo server program.

Hi All,
I Want to Know About Seburger Adapter & It's Functionality, How it will Convert the Data Which is Comming from EDI Systems.
Can Any One Please Explain me with out Any Doc's, How this Flow From EDI ANSI With Serburger Adapter ????
Regards
BabuHi,
1) If Our Sender is EDI Means Should we use this Seburger Adapter Compulsary ?
If u want to convert the EDI standard data into XML then u have to use seeburger.
if ur not using XI then no need to conver the data into XML then no need of Seeburger.
2) What is the Significance of this Seburger Adapter Here ???
Seeburger is a Tool which will do the mapping and covert the data into XML.U have to use this module in Adapter and it will take care.
u will have some standard mappings which are already defined in Seeburger ans u have to use that mapping name in Adapter module and Seeburgert must be installed in ur XI server.
3) Will this Seburger Adapter Convert this ANSI Format to Any XSD like that. ( I heard it Some where else ) So that We can Import this XSD Format into Our Mapping in IR.
Yes i will convert any type in XSD format or XML format .
Check below links and sites for Seeburger.

Component Service microsoft.biztalk.adapter.sql for BizTalk Server 2009
Hello All,
We have a production server which has 2 hosts used for receiving data. When I use these hosts for SQL adapter I am getting an error that "the receive location is shutting down. Details: The error threshold has been exceeded. The receive location is
shutting down"
I did some analysis and can see that the component service "microsoft.biztalk.adapter.sql " is missing on my receive server. Can this be the reason for this?Hi,
Please check DTC connectivity between the two servers using DTCPing and DTCTester. That at the very least should make things easier to diagnose.
