How to define game map for java midlet
If I see the rpg game, it have default map. I want to know how to translate it to code
in midlet? The map will be existed image or dynamicly generated?
Like Prince of Persia Midlet version, I wonder how to generate the environment?
Is it pixel generated or immutable image?
detect collision
SO if the map is image and the sprite game is draw over the map, how can we detect the
collision?

didn't know about game programming before
to write a small game in midl is already a hard work. to make a big one, take a look of a team of programers.
about maping, there is no such thing. wire every thing by yourself. by books or read tutorials.
as i already said. no easy task.

Okay so this question isn't about games, but under the category iPod, this was the only one that had the option to post a new topic. Seriously
It seems the issues with my iPod are endless. It freezes. It clicks and gives me a sad face. It restarts. It freezes. It restores and erases everything. It freezes. It is driving me insane. So I went to this link http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=60983 that talks about restoring and updating your iPod and it says you have to plug into your computer to restore it, or whatever. But I can't do anything without it clicking and sad face-ing. I can't put it on the charger (so I don't know if the battery is dead or not), and I can't plug connect it to the USB cable to connect it to the computer. It just clicks and whirs and gives me a sad face.
It is kind of old so maybe it's just time to get a new one. Somebody please rescue me, I'me losing my mind with this thing.Just FYI - the forums all have a "Post New topic" button but you have to hit on the subcategory under the main one. This one doesn't have a subcategory.

I have not been able to update my fairy farm game for the last 5days as it quit at launch. I am afraid to delete and reinstall the game as i might lose all. Anyone knows if there is an update for this game? Please help. Thanks

My MacBook get's hot really quick and then discharge's quickly without opening any program, please help.
I have checked the cooling fan, and it's working, and I took it to an IT technician and he said my hardware is allright, so is it a problem from the OS it self??

I cannot download certain games because I do not recall the answers to my security questions when it asks if I am 17 years or older. In fact, I do not even recall being asked these security questions.
I tried to guess logical answers but now my iPad is threatening to lock me out. My second email is no longer in use as it has not been used for years and has seemingly expired.
Can you please help?If you don't have access to your rescue email account, or you don't have one on your account (an alternate/secondary email address is a different setting/address), then you will need contact iTunes Support or Apple to get the questions reset (you won't be able to change/add a rescue email address until you can answer 2 of your questions)

I need answers about the iCloud - Please help
Hi guys, well I have a few iOS devices, 2 ipads, and an iphone. Well, I got a few questions to ask.
1. Ok, on my iphone on settings on the icloud bit, I have my iphone back up aswell as the 2 ipads. What will happen if I delete the back up for 1 of the ipads. Like, I don't know whats on the back up. And If I want a new back up for the ipad, how to I create 1?
2. On the icloud section with all 3 ios devices, my 5gb of storage is full, and each device has a bit of storage used up by it. The iphone - 1.7gb, ipad 1 - 600 mb... And it all adds up to around 5gb. But what I don't understand is, on 1 of the ipads it says I've used up 17gb of storage (not icloud), so why has the icloud only stored 600 mb of it? Shouldn't it store like the whole 5gb? I really don't know... I need all the info about the icloud. And yes I've read all of it on this website but none of it helps.
3. Since it say the icloud storage is full, how do i get more storage, should I just buy more, or is there another way?
All I know is, if I have icloud set up on all 3 of my devices, what ever i buy on 1 devices it goes on the other 3.
And that, i have a back up with all my music n stuff in, just incase something goes wrong. Please help! Thanks!iCloud Support

Cant get into same game server please help
just got a wrt54g v6 and updated firmware i have 1 pc wired 2 pc wireless and a lap top wireless.when playing call of duty 2 i cant join the same server that another pc on my network is in.i can join a different 1 but not the same.when i try to join the same server the game is interrupted on the other pc and mine says server disconnected.i have ports 28960,20500,20510 open. also ive enabled the dmz and the same thing happens.before i got the router i had all pcs but the lap top networked thru my pc and we never had this problem.im i missing a port? are my settings wrong?please help
I have also had this problem.
However I managed to "Fix" mine a slightly different way.
I had set up my router and correctly configured port forwarding to my gaming PC, but when a friend came round and played on my laptop the same thing would happen.
We got around this by REMOVING the port forwarding completely. The NAT can then redirect the correct packets to the correct PC. However this will only work if the COD 2 server has not had its default setting changed (as an admin can change whether or not to allow multiple simultaneous connections from the same IP) So if this still doesn't work try speaking to the admin of the server you want to play on and let him know your problem -
