About importing serial numbers into SAP

Question

Hi All,
I need to import serial number from our old ERP system into our SAP B1 system. What I understand is serial number always attached to a document like goods receipt or delivery. In documents object, there is property called Series which looks like what I interested. But when I look at this child object in DI, I didn't find any method to add serial number. My question is how I can add serial number to a document object? For example, I have received 10 products with serial, how I can do it in DI? Is anyone can share some of your code to me so I can take it as an sample ?
