About pre-populationg the data in the survey Attached to an activity in CRM
Hello Gurus,
I have a question regarding Pre-Populating the header data in the survey attached to an activity in CRM Mobile 4.0. That in can we define a Functional module for a PBO (Process Before Output) for a survey u201CZ_SVY_Templateu201D in CRM 4.0.
So that when a Sales rep opens the Survey in CRM Mobile 4.0 the Organizationu2019s Header data should automatically be displayed in the u201CZ_SVY_Templateu201D, so that he just needs to fill out only the remaining additional blank fields in the survey.

Where can I find the date when the pre-sale movies will be released?
Where can I find the date when the pre-sale movies will be released?
Hi Claudia1950,
Thanks for visiting Apple Support Communities.
According to the following article on iTunes Store pre-orders, "Most pre-orders will show an expected release date near or below the pre-order button."
You may also find this information helpful:
When a pre-ordered item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know that you can download your pre-order.

Could not see the data in the report
Hi,
BOXI R3.1 is intalled newly in my sytem.Through Infoview,when i refresh a new report, though data is getting into the report ,I am not able to see the data in the report plus the Header color is blue and the rest of the row colors are displaying as yellow.
when I am logging in another machine i am able to see the data.Please help me in solving this issue.
Thanks in Advance.
Regards,
Spandana.Spandana,
As suggested, JVM is problem. You can find out it at Control Panel == Java (Double-click) General tab == About button (See the build version) (build 1.6.0_20-b02). So you have to choose below 20 (I prefer 17).
Alternatively, You might have several Java's running on your machine. Uninstall all Java versions and start developing reports or Editing any existing reports, now BO will prompt for you to install JVM, Run it, Now the problem is solved.
Hope it should solves the issue.
If you want to see the data:(now with yellow & blue)
Select Column == properties == Read cell content as, change it to HTML.
Thank You!!

Not able to get the data on the page
hi,
I tried brining the data on the JSP page. I am passing the parameters to a PL/SQL procedure. but I am not getting any data or error. can anyone helpme how to proceed further I am retreving the page parameters that are passed to the JSP page like this.
<%
PortletRenderRequest portletRequest = (PortletRenderRequest)request.getAttribute(HttpCommonConstants.PORTLET_RENDER_REQUEST);
RenderContext rc = portletRequest.getRenderContext();
PortletDefinition pd = portletRequest.getPortletInstance().getPortletDefinition();
%>
I am getting the page parameters. but I am not able to get any result on the page.
while I am using the same code to get the data on another JSP page I am getting the data except I am not retreving the page parameters.
I am using the code like this to pass the parameters to the procedure.
OracleConnection conn__OCI = cpool.getProxyConnection(OracleOCIConnectionPool.PROXYTYPE_USER_NAME, proxUserProp);
cstmt = conn__OCI.prepareCall ("begin test.test1( ?,?,?,?,? ); end;");
cstmt.setString(2, cnumb);
cstmt.setString(3, cperiod);
cstmt.setInt(4, retStrC);
cstmt.setString(5, retStr3);
cstmt.registerOutParameter (4, Types.NUMERIC);
cstmt.registerOutParameter (5, Types.VARCHAR);
cstmt.registerOutParameter(1, OracleTypes.CURSOR);
cstmt.execute();
retStrC = cstmt.getInt (4);
retStr3 = cstmt.getString (5);
retStr = "<tr class=OraDataText><td> " + retStrC + "</td></tr>";
retStr = retStr + "<tr class=OraDataText><td> " + retStr3 + "</td></tr>";
if ( retStrC == -1 ) { ALLretStr = ALLretStr + retStr; }
else
cursor = ((OracleCallableStatement)cstmt).getCursor(1);
while (cursor.next ())
if (spacerLine >= 2)
ALLretStr = ALLretStr + "<tr><td colspan=5 height=1 <div id=ssubLine> <div id=ssubLinet></div> </div> </td></tr>";

How to delete the dat afrom the Ztable in GRP
Hello Experts,
How we can delete the data from the Ztable created by the developer , in the Production server ,please give a brief idea about it , thanks in advance.see this:
to delete data from z table
also follow this mentioned by jagadish in above thread:
start tr. se16n
type the table name and press ENTER.
Then type the string "&sap_edit" into the command line and strike Enter
again.
enter your selection criteria.
run.(F8)
now you can easily delete the lines you want (and then save)
All Changes are noted in the tables

SE16N_CD_KEY. -
Hi all.
I think that the problem I want to discuss is well-known, but still I got no answer whatever I tried ...
I installed the BIEE on Linux (32 bit, OEL 5 - to be more precise), the complete installation was not a big deal. After that I installed the Administration tool on my laptop and created the repository. So... my tnsnames.ora on the laptop looks like this:
TESTDB =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = 192.168.1.5)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SERVICE_NAME = testdb)
And the tnsnames.ora on server, in its turn, looks like this:
TESTDB =
(DESCRIPTION =
(ADDRESS = (PROTOCOL = TCP)(HOST = localhost.localdomain)(PORT = 1521))
(CONNECT_DATA =
(SERVER = DEDICATED)
(SERVICE_NAME = testdb.localdomain)
The database worked normally and I created and transferred the repository to the server and started it up.
It started without any errors, but when I tried to fetch the data via the representation services I got the error:
Odbc driver returned an error (SQLExecDirectW).
State: HY000. Code: 10058. [NQODBC] [SQL_STATE: HY000] [nQSError: 10058] A general error has occurred.
[nQSError: 16023] The ODBC function has returned an error. The database may not be available, or the network may be down. (HY000)
I discovered, that the ODBC on my laptop was named not correctly (it should have been identical to tnsnames entry) - so I corrected it, saved and replaced the repository on the server and restarted it... - and still got the same error.
Apparently, something is wrong with the data source. So let me put here some more information...
My user.sh looks like this:
ORACLE_HOME=/u01/app/ora/product/11.2.0/dbhome_1
export ORACLE_HOME
TNS_ADMIN=$ORACLE_HOME/network/admin
export TNS_ADMIN
PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/bin:/opt/bin:$PATH
export PATH
LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$ORACLE_HOME/lib:$LD_LIBRARY_PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH
and my odbc.ini looks like this:

Can anybody point a finger where the error line is? According to the documentation it should work fine.Maybe the driver name is wrong? What driver I need then?
Cause I can't find it.
I'm really sorry to bother, guys :) Let me know if you get some ideas about it (metalink didn't help).OK, several things wrong here. First the odbc.ini is not meant to be used for Oracle databases, that's not supported on Linux. On Linux you should OCI (Oracle native drivers) and nothing should be added on odbc.ini. Your user.sh seems to be pointing to your DB installation path. This is not correct. It should point to your Oracle client installation so you need to install the Oracle FULL client somewhere. Typically this is normally done with the same OS account as the one used for OBIEE whereas the DB normally runs with the oracle account. Once you got the client installed test it under the OBIEE account doing tnsping and sqlplus to your DB. Also the LD_LIBRARY_PATH should point to $ORACLE_HOME/lib32 not lib as the lib directory is the 64bits and OBIEE uses the 32bits libraries even in 64bits OSes. Finally change your RPD connection to use OCI. Make all those changes and you should be good.

I had an interview question that is:
How to update a table (Customer) on a server ex: Report Server with the data from the same table (Customer) From another server ex: Transaction server?
Set up steps so inset, update or delete operation takes place across the servers.
It would be great if someone please enlighten me in details about this process in MS SQL Server 2008 R2.
Also please describe would it be different for SQL Server 2012?

How to get the date for the last day of a week?
Is there a easy way to get the date for the last day of week?
eg a week starts on monday and end on sunday
January 11, 2005 is the start date for the week
January 17, 2005 is the end date for the week
or
say
February 26, 2003 is the start date for the week
March 5, 2003 is the end date for the week
I just need a simple way of figuring that out....
I figured out how to get the start date for the week but just can't get the latter..
formatting of the date is not of a concern.. that I know how to do
thanks in advanceHow about something like the following?
Calendar someDay = new GregorianCalendar(2005,0,11);//2005 Jan, 11
//Note above that January is 0, not 1, as counting starts from 0.
someDay.add(Calendar.DAY_OF_MONTH,6); //add 6 days
java.util.Date lastDayOfWeek = someDay.getTime();
//If someDay was the start of a week, lastDayOfWeek should now be
//the last day of that week.
System.out.println(lastDayOfWeek.toString() ); -
How do I customize the date in the menu bar to rearrange items, etc.?
I know about "System Preferences -> Date & Time -> Clock", so I'm not asking about that. What I want to is in, in Lion, how do I rearrange items for the date in the menu bar? Right now, it shows as "Mon 31 Oct", and I'd prefer "Mon, Oct. 31".
It used to be easy to make these changes in versions prior to Lion with the "Format" tab, but not anymore apparently. This "hack" no longer works.
I'm also curious as to why it shows as "31 Oct" rather than "Oct 31" for me; I suspect that it's because I'm in Canada, even though I set "Month Day" to be the default date format for all dates on Lion.Well you may be right with suspicion about having something to do with Canada - here is a screenshot of my date:
I'm in the US - have you tried changing to the US to see if that would work? -
Why is the date on the iCal icon the 17th July!?
I was amusing a friend recently showing him how the date on the iCal icon changes to the current date when you open it up and he asked an interesting question ... why does the icon show the date as the 17th July when the application is not open?
I had never really thought about it before so decided to search the internet for a reasonable answer ... the following are a list if interesting events which occured on the 17th July (none of which however seem likely to be the reason for the icons date):
1995 - The Nasdaq stock index closes above the 1000 mark for the first time.
1989 - First flight of the B2 Stealth Bomber.
1987 - The Dow Jones Industrial Average closes above the 2500 mark for the first time.
1976 - Viking 1 lands on Mars.
1975 - Russian and American astronauts meet in space as the Apollo and Soyuz spacecraft's dock successfully.
1964 - A new land speed record is set by the Bluebird (driven by Sir Donald Campbell) reaching a speed of 429mph.
1955 - Opening of Disneyland in California.
1936 - Start of Spanish Civil War.
1917 - The British Royal Family change their name to Windsor in place of their German family name Saxe-Coburg-Gotha.
1790 - The first sewing machine is patented by Thomas Saint.
1453 - End of the One Hundred Years War.
I then came across this page on the Apple site ... http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2002/jul/17ical.html ... which gives the obvious answer that the reason for the icons date is simply that the program was first introduced at MacWorld on the 17th July 2002! Simple!Have you read ?

I scanned an old photo but the date displayed is today, I want the date to be the date the photo was taken. How do I change the date of the photo in iPhoto 11?
There are two kinds of metadata involved when you consider jpeg or other image file.
One is the file data. This is what the Finder shows. This tells you nothing about the contents of the file, just the File itself.
The problem with File metadata is that it can easily change as the file is moved from place to place or exported, e-mailed, uploaded etc.
Photographs have also got both Exif and IPTC metadata. The date and time that your camera snapped the Photograph is recorded in the Exif metadata. Regardless if what the file date says, this is the actual time recorded by the camera.
Photo applications like iPhoto, Aperture, Lightroom, Picasa, Photoshop etc get their date and time from the Exif metadata.
When you export from iPhoto to the Finder new file is created containing your Photo (and its Exif). The File date is - quite accurately - reported as the date of Export.
However, the Photo Date doesn't change.
The problem is that the Finder doesn't work with Exif.
So, your photo has the correct date, and so does the file, but they are different things. To sort on the Photo date you'll need to use a photo app. -
Using the "if you have never synched with itunes" instructions, will I lose all data on the phone? That is the most important information, how to recover the data. The phone is fungible.
Thanks @ KiltedTim, but losing "only" any data is really not acceptable and, in this case, the phone had not been backed up, but thanks for taking the time. Also, yes, fungible means what I think it means. An iphone is a completely substitutible commodity, unlike my data, so instructions that inform me as to how to fix a phone I could replace for a small sum of money while failing to address the more important issue of the data are almost useless - they potentially save me the $99 it would cost me to replace the phone if I were so inclined to trust another apple product. Not worth the hour it took to find them or the 35 minutes on the phone to confirm my suspicions about the data.

Whether we can able to save the data in the portal side or not?
Hi All,
Could anyone please tell me, whether we can able to save the data in the portal side or not, if possible can you please explain the procedure.
Thanks in advance,
Siva.If you are familiar with java then you can use the usual jdbc / odbc driver to connect. Do search the forums, this has already been discussed many times before, if you encounter a road block do post back.....
