About usage of DBMS_JOB

How is it possible to tell DBMS_JOB to run my procedure hourly but only, for example, between 10:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.?
My Oracle version is 8i

As, you are in 8i, To check the Jobs Scheduled..
SELECT WHAT, NEXT_DATE, JOB
FROM USER_JOBS;Where,
WHAT - Procedure to run.
Next Date - Next Time of run.
Job - Is the Job Number.
When ever you Submit a job, the Job Should be commited, then only the Job queue monitor can see the Job. As a result,
uncommited jobs go undone.

Confused about usage of usage types (NW2004s vs. NW 7.1 vs. NW mobile 7.1)

Hello all
I'm confused about the different combination possibilities / restrictions when it comes to compare NW2004s, NW PI 7.1 PI and NW Mobile 7.1. I already consulted the Master Guides and technical installation guides but am still confused. So if someone could shed some more light on it it would be great!
We plan to implement our interfaces, whether internal (system to system) or external (customers, suppliers) using XI (now called PI, right?). But we also intend to develop and run mobile apps (occasionally conected ones). So my questions around it are:
1) Do we need to install at least two separate servers for this? I mean:
- 1 server for SAP Netweaver PI 7.1
- 1 server for SAP Netweaver Mobile 7.1
2) Or is possible to have all this on one single server using SAP Netweaver 2004s with usage types AS ABAP, PI and Mobile.
3) Is usage type AS JAVA required when choosing usage type Mobile?
4) What would you recommend for production environments (note: I'm aware of the sizing / scaling question but I'm only interested in some kind of best practices advices in terms of maintenance, patching, etc.).

Re-checked the master guide for NW 2004s (7.0) and now found the relevant text in chapter 3.3.1 on pages 30 + 31. Must have overlooked it the 1st time.
Other questions:
a) What is the difference between a installation of NW 7.0 with usage type AS ABAP and PI compared to NW PI 7.1 ?!?
b) What is the difference between an installation of NW 7.0 with usage type AS ABAP and Mobile compared to NW Mobile 7.1 ?!?
Do the 7.1 versions contain real newer releases or is it just another packaging of same components? What are the advanteges of the 7.1 versions?

My exchange is being enabled for Infinity fttc in september (Stirling, essti).
I would switch as soon as I could, but i have some questions about high bandwidth use.
In my household we have 5 people, who are all huge computer/internet users, and we use a huge amount of bandwidth.
Our average monthly usage, including upload & download is around 500-600 gigabytes per month.
Our current isp, a C&W LLU reseller, offers 100% unlimited bandwidth, at up to 24mb/s speeds (in practice around 12-14mb/s), which is great, but with 5 heavy users in the house, 12mb/s doesnt go very far, so 30-40mb/s from infinity would be fantastic, if it was also unlimited. (I am aware p2p is throttled, but that doesnt matter to me)
Does anybody who currently has infinity use this much bandwidth, and if so, do you have any problems with throttling of http/non-p2p transfers?

Confused about usage email

Hi, having a couple of problems lately, its a bit of a 2 part problem and im hoping somone can help.
1. I received an email tody telling me that ive reached 7GB usage of the 10GB, even though i was only set up on the 30th of March, thats just over a week. there is no way i could of reached this in just over a week, not with what i use the internet for.
In fact i was so suprised that i had to check the hub settings, mine reads; Data Transmitted/Received (GB):0.3 / 4.2 Does this seem right? im not quite sure
2. when i checked in mybt, the usage says this message "theres no recent usage because you do not have any products or services linked to this account."
what does this mean? its the same when i check the bill, theres no charge, no usage. Maybe its an error, i cant be sure.
Can anyone shed some light on this? im giving them a ring tommorow either way.

I wouldn't bother trying to ring BT.
It seems that one is put through to a curry takeaway somewhere in the world where the spoken English is barely understandable.
I have received 2 emails from BT about exceeding my broadband usage I have 40GB.
My normal usage is apparrently 17gb per month, I have exceeded in 2 days the remaining usage of 23 gb.I am not doing anthing different from normal.
I have notified the takeaway that they have tested & told me that there is a problem.
Bt have sent 2 engineers out, one replaced the modem, the second tested and replaced the hub as faulty.
They have also said there is a problem on the line. Thats it, no answer given as to what happens next other than my bill is exceedingly high.
Would not bother trying to get in touch with BT.
I am looking at Virgin who are really touting business.
As for BT, they want £300.00 cancellation of service, they can swing, If they take me to court all the better I will make sure that the press hear how they are hounding a pensioner which I am. I would rather go to jail and live better than continue with the useless and disgraceful service that I get from BT.

Question about usage unbilled Acccount in Rev Rec

We are implementing SD Rev Rec and I want to know the usage of un-billed account.
When we create a credit memo with reference to a billing document, SAP picks up unbilled account while creating accouting document against the billing document. Normally on Sales order SAP uses account from Account determination (Key ERL), but it doesn't do that in case od credit memos. Why SAP treats the invoice as unbilled?

Pacman - short question about usage

Hi,
while searching the database with "pacman -Ss foobar", is it possible to show which of the resulting package names are already installed? In Debian it's shown via "aptitude search foobar", but I can't find the corresponding option for pacman in its man page.

Sorry, I've forgot to mention - but I think "repo-add" is more elegant solution. Personaly, I use a script which I call "auri" based on "aur-install", too. It also builds packages.

BizTalk: Bad Things: What is bad about usage of Direct Binding?

I started series of AQ about BizTalk. Please, feel free to be impolite in this discussion, if you are frustrated about some implementation pattern in BizTalk apps, or about something you see frequently in code.
Direct Binding, it looks pretty cool, smart and cool again! But is it always so? Have you ever seen how awfully it is used? Please, share your knowledge!

One thing:
Say, we have an orchestration with bounded send port. We cannot unenlist a send port if an orchestration is still enlisted. We've got an error:
Which prevents us from leaving this orchestration without subscriber (this send port).
If we use direct bounded port here, the result would be unlovely. We unenlist the send port. There would not be an error, the messages sent by orchestration would be suspended with "no subscribers" error.
Binding prevents us from this error, it forces us to keep subscriber (the send port) running if publisher is running.
So in cases, when we want messages be passed from an orchestration exactly to this send port, the direct binding is a bad idea.

I've just had an email warning me that I am approaching my Broadband usage limit; this has now beenresolved, but it got me thinking. Am I correct in thinking that BT Vision usage does not affect my Broadband usage? Is there a usage limit for BT Vision?

Mike it absolutely doesn't count towards the limit and there is no limit set for BT Vision.

My problem is about usage time. it shows a time more than i used.

i am using 4.3.3 iphone 4
usage: 2 hours 40 minutes
standby: 1 day 3 hours.
but i am sure that i haven't used my phone 2 hours 40 minutes. i dont know why. it might be a app still open background

And it's decreasing very fast? Have you updated an App recently from the App Store App on your iPhone? That could lead sometimes to some trouble. Then simply restart your iPhone or make a hard reset (press the home button and the standby button as long as your iPhone turns off, then press the standby button again).

Question about usage of aaa accounting commands

Hi everyone,
I have the problem that Cisco routers and switches do not send some accounting command
information to ACS.
Accounting commands do not send to ACS are "show log" and "show version".
Accounting commands send to ACS are "show runn", "conf t" and "debug"
The configuration of routers and switches is the following

aaa authorization commands 15 default group tacacs+ none
aaa accounting exec default start-stop group tacacs+
aaa accounting commands 15 default start-stop group tacacs+
tacacs-server host xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx key yyyy
I think the commands do not send to ACS are privilege level 1 command and the commands
send to ACS are privilege level 15 command.
So I need to additional aaa accounting command below to get routers and switches send level 1
command to ACS, because the "15" of "aaa accounting commands 15" does not include level 1
so need to configure "aaa accounting commands 1" for level 1 commands.

Large jump in my BB usage in October 2010 - is it ...

I use the basic BB service with 10Gb per month allowance. I typically use between 9 and 14Gb per month. In October, this jumped to 35GB so I am being charged £25 for the privilege when nothing has changed wrt my usage pattern.
Two questions for everyone:
Has anyone had a sudden unexpected jump in October?
Has anyone successfully questioned BT about usage? (when I called I was told the system was "always correct" which is a bit ironic when I look at the number of issues we are all having with BT's services)

That is a rather large jump but could be down to almost anything.
Youtube, Itunes, BBC player and any oneline streaming website.
Do you have multiple computers that did a windows or software update during the month?
If all else fails, change the password to your wireless router.
