Access mode setting for query

Hi,
I want to know where to set the following access modes for a query ?
NEW (default): Uses current data.
STORED: Uses pre-calculated data (if no pre-calculated data available, this results in an error).
HYBRID: Uses pre-calculated data if available; if not, it uses current data.
STATIC: Uses pre-calculated HTML pages (if no pre-calculated pages are available, this results in an error).
STATIC_HYBRID: Uses pre-calculated HTML pages if available; if not, it uses HYBRID access mode.

Hi,
this is part of the Web Template properties. You can set them either via additional URL parameters, or change the corresponding Web Template in the WAD.

Accessibility-mode set to inaccessible and 508 compliance

Hi,
I'm using JDEV 10.1.3.3.0.
I've set accessibility-mode to inaccessible in adf-faces-config.xml in order to set the InitialFocusID on some of my pages. Does this setting mean that my application is not/cannot be 508 compliant?
Is there a way to use the InitialFocusID (or other way to position the cursor) and use ADF Faces automatic 508 compliance code?

ensure you use the correct version of JAWS. In the past I've seen things like this caused by the JAWS reader. If the problem still shows and you have a support contract, provide a test case and file a bug
My problem is when i use tab key from keyboard to navigate on the page the component highlights(dotted line around the component ) but it does not open the required popup.
This is because there is no setting in your page code that says that the popup should show when the component is in focus.

Nokia E6 - Where is the Access point setting for Y...

I have my Nokia E6 configured for my Corporate Email, MfE and it works fine. In the settings for MfE, I see a setting for Access Point, where I choose Internet with Priority 1 as my Home WLAN and Priority 2 as my GPRS connection.
Then, I started to configure my private Yahoo mail, evertyhing is done, it works fine, but I do not see any settings for Access Point for the Yahoo mail..
Does this mean it picks up the settings from MfE???
Can any other NOkia E6 users or experts comment on this??

To answer your question:
There is no shared secret for the ACS itself.
If the ACS is going to communicate with another device, you have to define a AAA client and define a shared secret.
ACS 4, used that shared secret to protect/secure the replication, in ACS 5, the replication secured with encryption and not shared secrets(hash).

Kernel mode setting for non-recognized monitors

I'm running kernel, xorg-server and xf86-video-intel from testing with KMS enabled, and while it certainly feels smooth and responsive there is one irritating bug related to kdm logout.
Anyway, looking at /var/log/messages.log I see a line

which is related to the following fact: xorg doesn't recognize the native resolution of my monitor, which is 1440x900. It's not just on Arch, Ubuntu doesn't get it either. So I have to add a modeline to xorg.conf.
But now I'm wondering if this might cause a problem with KMS. KMS is supposed to set my monitor to its native resolution (right?), which it cannot because the system doesn't know my native resolution until it reads xorg.conf, which the kernel doesn't.
So: could that be a problem?

With early KMS enabled, both suspend and hibernate broken on Thinkpad T400 with Intel graphics. For suspend, the laptop cannot actually suspend.(Screen go black and seconds later bright again); For hibernate, however, resuming from hibernation runs into blank screen, Ctrl+Alt+F1-6 doesn't work either. Only hard restart can get out of this.

About HTTP Internet mode setting for Nokia & Samsung devices.

I�ve a J2ME app. wich must run in several devices. I configured and tested it in my Motorola-V300 and SonyEricsson-K300a withow problems.
Now, I must do the same with Nokia and Samsung devices but, unfortunatelly I�ve not them in order to configure and try.
Motorola/SonyEricsson devices has a profile option where to setup "Internet Mode = HTTP" (no WAP) but I cannot findout in internet or phone manuals how to especify HTTP into Nokia and Samsung phones. I asked support teams here (Argentina) and they said me that it�s not possible and only wap is alowed. I cannot beleave it.
Please, could somebody tell me where/how to do it ??. It�s very important for my.

I keep getting a box which asks me to allow or not allow additional storage space, but when I click either box nothing happens.
When this program was installed it never provided me with a setting screen - so how can I access this information.

The default view for my characteristic in my query is "Characteristic Relationships".
I would like to have a command button for the user to be able to change the access mode to "Posted Values"
I have searched through all the commands but was unable to find this command.
OR if it is not available does anyone know the XHTML that I could enter into the web template.

How to set a query of VO in Best-Effort Mode

Hi, I'm using auto refresh property of VO, to refresh the LOV . But i get " java.sql.SQLException: ORA-29983: Unsupported query for Continuous Query Notification" error..
So i want to set the query in best-effort-mode . May i know how to set it.
here is my query that set to auto refresh.
"SELECT DISTINCT YYYY FROM XXXXX"
Query optimizer makes the above one as below.
SELECT * FROM (SELECT DISTINCT YYYY FROM XXXXX) QRSLT WHERE ( ( (YYYY LIKE :vc_temp_1 ) ) )

If you disconnect the PMU, you will have the option to go to tristate or your previous digital state, but not ground. Forcing 0V is probably the closest you can get to a GND like behavior. The default line state is tristate for this device, which will leave the line floating if there is no active driver.

Lazy mode setting in Application Module AM for 10g

Hi,
I am using Jdev 10.1.3.x
There is very little information given on Lazy mode setting in AM.
I tred to enable that and written System.out.println() in getter and setter in Impl class.
Even though i enabled Lazy mode application on load of page executes this sop(s) which means iterator gets executed on load of page.
I want to prevent execution of iterator on load of page to boost the page load time. i have VO draged dropped on the page but they are rendered on click of search button. So execution of Iterator impacts the performance.
Any suggeston will be appriciable.

Yes you are correct that through post back we can display the result after user has interacted with page. But when i entered some System.out.println()s in the getter and setter of Impl they were executed on load, which implies that post back just controlls when to display data. And when we set the EL rendered="#{adfFacesContext.postback == true}", On load of page iterator is executed and only data is not displayed, which causes one query on load of page which is not desired.
My ultimate aim is to boost up the onload time and not to query databse when not reqired to prevent Database hit. Through this technique i think we can boost up time by not rendering data on page but cannot prevent free hit to Database.
Revert in case my assumption need to be refined, and also i would like to know what exactly happens when we enable Lazzy mode option in impl tuning. And how do i assure that it is not querying Database.

Is there api function to change access mode and set a passcode to recording in meeting?
When I'm trying to use "action=acl-field-update&acl-id=SCO_ID_RECORDING&field-id=meeting-passcode&value=MY_PASSC ODE" it just clean the password and do not set it or change.
And "action=permissions-update&acl-id=SCO_ID_RECORDING&principal-id=public-access&permission- id=view-hidden" do not work too.

There is not a specific API for doing this. This was discussed in the other Connect forum here, Adobe Connect User Community.
For you call I would make the second part differently. Instead of 'field-id=meeting-passcode&value=MY_PASSCODE' I would call 'meeting-passcode=MY_PASSCODE' and see if that worked better.

ER: Allow setting af:query default mode

We are planning to use af:query component extensively throughout our application. However, we would only use it in cases where the QBE table filters would not work. Since the basic mode offers virtually nothing over QBE filters, we really only want the query component to display in Advanced mode and we've found with our users that the toggle between Basic and Advanced is confusing to them. Unless I'm missing something, I can hide the mode change button but there's no way to have the component default into Advanced mode. Please add an attribute to set default mode of af:query component.

there is way to do this. You tell me if this is an option for you and if not I am happy to file an ER
1. Create a ViewCriteria for the ViewObject
2. For the view criteria add all attributes you want to query. To simulate the "All Queriable Attributes" you just add all attributes (no need to define bind variables)
3. In the View Criteria, select the UI Hints tab, select "Search Region Mode" Advanced
4. Drag the Named Criteria as a query form
5. If the table is created with filters then the filter will use the same View Criteria

Why did the setting for my Linksys WRT54G router change spontaneously from encrypted to open mode?

I unplugged power to my Linksys WRT54G (802.11g) router for about six days. It had been set for WEP 128-bit encryption. When I replugged it, it identified itself as an open (non-encrypted) network. I could use it by setting up a new network connection (unencrypted) on my PC, but could not access it using the original (encrypted) PC network connection.
After reinstalling the router, and setting it for WEP 128-bit encryption, it works fine again.
Can anyone explain why the router spontaneously went from encrypted to non-encrypted mode, as a result of being powered down for several days? (Is this a bug or a feature?

i have done the same activity ( buy a new iphone 4 -> upgrade to ios5 - > configure email) with success-
than when i start to move the contacts from old mobile to iphone (using the microsim) i receive the same crash
in disgnosis e use i saw 2 dump with this title 'latestCrash-Preferences.plist and LatestCrash.plist. in each file the date is the same and i read:

You can't "accidentally" put a passcode on any iPhone...its a multi-step process. Further, restoring an iPhone will remove the passcode, as the passcode is not included in an iPhone backup.
Are you sure you're talking about the phone passcode & not something else...like the "Restrictions" passcode?
