Access printer by new user Deskjet 1100 series

I've added a new user to my computer and can't access the printer from the new user's desktop.

Attempt this again now, as it should be resolved on the server side. If not let me know.

Two options: 1. In configuration manager on the AW, use the user list tool to add the users domain account and select Webview access permissions. 2. Using standard Microsoft Active Directory tools or the Cisco Domain Manager tool, add the desired AD user account into one of the "WebView" security groups created within the Cisco OU.

Accessing printer software for HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series with Windows 7

There is currently a problem with the HP Deskjet 3050A J611 series software on my computer. It used to be when I clicked on my desktop icon (or launched this program from my start menu) I would see a list of option such as check ink levels, scan a picture, search for help, and so forth. Now the screen shows only this:

Clicking on HP Printer Assistant does nothing.
My computer is a Dell Inspiron 620 with a Widows 7 Home Premium (64 bit, service pack 1) operating system.
Does anyone know what might be a solution to my problem?

Installing the latest full software package from HP should fix the problem of the buttons disappearing. These printers use the same basic software, and what I said is true for both. HP fixed the problem in version 28.8 of the software. I'll link it below for the 5514 and the 3050A.

Domain Access Denied - Adding new users

Hi Experts,
I am working on SAP BPC 7.0 MS ver SP04 and am facing an error while adding users.
To Add a New domain user when selecting the domain, I am getting a warning message "Access is denied".
What could be the reasons behind this or are there any specific rights that need to be checked for access to the Domains? I have earlier added users from the same domain and had no warning message and post that no changes have been made to any user settings.
Any help or guidance / tips very much appreciated.

Earlier when u had added the users, did u add the users to the same application set or was it for different application set??
Can you please check your task profile. Kindly make sure that you have the appropriate authorizations.

Need Network Printing support for the Deskjet 6500 series as a shared printer!!!

Why does HP NOT SUPPORT INSTALLING the Deskjet6500 series as a shared network printer on Win 7 64 bit?? There is NO DRIVER available and if its NOT USB DIRECT CONNECTED windows update will NOT FIND a driver either!!!

Power cabel for h/p deskjet f2420 series printer

to who ever can help me.i have been given an old printer a hewlet packard deskjet f2420 series.
it has the mains cable missing . the back of the printer receives the cable with 3 straght prongs to push over and the top
slightly angled.if anyone has one or knows where i can get one local to winsford in cheshire. i would be very grateful.

While starting my iMac after new hard drive installed, I created a admin user, I then pulled over a backup from an external hard drive that brought over the previous admin user settings. Need to merge to old user with the new user

I had to replace the hard drive in my iMac. Upon initial start up, I created a admin user name and password. Then I connected a WD external hard drive that had a back up of my orginal HD. Upon running Migration Assistant and pulling over the back up I found it pulled over the ORIGINAL user & security information from the original hard drive. In order to see iPhoto or iTunes libraies I must sign on to the "Old" user.
I want to Merge old and new users into only 1 user or delete the original user however need to have the iPhoto/iTunes libraies accessable by the "New" user.

Your best bet is to start over, by restoring your entire system to the exact condition it was in. Otherwise, the transferred user account probably won't have permission to its backups. See the pink box in Problems after using Migration Assistant for an explanation.

Create new User in Macbook Pro

I have problem with my MS PowerPoint where I can't save the PowerPoint created in PDF files. When I tried saving as PDF file, The message " Microsoft PowerPoint has encounter a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience"
Although MS technical has suggested a few solutions and it never work. One of the suggestion was to create a new user in the Macbook Pro and try to use the PowerPoint under the new user which I tried the problem remains. When creating a new user, all the file sin the old user login cannot be access via the new user, Can some help or give some tips on how to transfer the file from the old user to new user.

Copy all the data files into /Users/Share as the old user then log in as the new user and copy the files from /Users/Share to the home folder.

Logic X Additional Content after creating a new User Profile

Hey guys. I have a MBRpro and I'm running into problems with a plugin and diskspace.
I bought East/West Symphonic Orchestra Platinum Plus and Symphonic Choirs and the plugin is killing my CPU on my current User Profile.
Yesterday, I created a new blank user, and its running fine there. I'm guessing because all the systems resources are available without running background daemons from other apps.
After I launched Logic X under the new user, it asked me if I wanted to download additional content. I had already downloaded all the content under the old user, and so I said "no" as I'm struggling with disk space on my retina (6gig free). I played a bit - confirmed the plugin was working fine, quit it/logged off and went back to my old profile.
Today I launched the new user (after logging off from my old profile) and launched logic but now the additional content menu is greyed out. I'd like to know what is going on.
1stly, Is it greyed out only on the new user, because old user installed it all already? If so.. why did it ask me the first time to download additional content?
2ndly, can I verify if the downloadable content library on the older user has carried accross / or is accessable under the new user profile?
3rdly, If the additional content / Libraries are not automatically shared, can I make them available/shared amongst both users, since I don't have the internal diskspace? Moving it all onto an external drive is not the best option for me. I need to keep it all on my laptop if I can.
Thanks for your help guys. I couldn't find anything on the forums regarding content shared amongst users on the same machine. Called Apple Care and they sent me to you guys. :-/

When I use the disc to try to install the printer driver, I get a message that "I can't open the application HP Installer because the Power PC applications are no longer supported. I am not sure what all that means but is there any way to use this printer with my new computer?

Hp 61 cartridge (refill?)/hp deskjet 1050, series J410, landfill printer/scanner

I bought an hp deskjet 1050 (J410 series) printer/scanner, about 3-4 weeks ago, at Future Shop, for $29.99. I used all the ink in the hp 61 black ink cartridge, called a local outlet for a large cartridge refilling business & was told they could refill it. They did.
Now, the printer/scanner is displaying the attached message & refusing to print.
What is the opposite of "green"? Has hp not heard the terms "reduce, reuse and recycle"?
Is hp really so short-sighted that they hired engineers to design printers and cartridges so that the printer won't work after the ink in a cartridge is used?
A new hp deskjet 1050 printer/scanner costs $29.99 at Future Shop. An hp 61 black inkjet cartridge costs $19.99. Do they really intend for the printer to go in a landfill after the ink is used? I used to think hp produced quality products - since I bought my first hp 21 calculator over 35 years ago.
I tried getting rid of the warning message (with the "close" button disabled) by starting Task Manager and ending the task; but the printer still won't print. Do you know of another workaround?
At this point, I'm thinking of returning the printer & shopping for a better alternative.

I would suggest if the message comes up again just say "no". While HP does not prohibit refilling they are trying to crack down on counterfeiting, where refilled/reman cartridges are sold as genuine HP.
BTW, the refill place likely took your used-once cartridge and gave you a different replacement. If you had gotten your cartridge back the printer would have recognized it and not shown this message. I would suggest you contact the refiller for a replacement if cleaning the cartridge contacts as shown here (for a different series, but same principle) does not resolve the issue.
On a related note, I once donated a printer to the local high school. Some time later I got a call from the teacher that it was not working properly. They had replaced the #57 cartridge with a refilled one that had bad color in yellow (now green). We got a replacement and had one of the colors missing. Finally the third replacement worked. I asked why they bought refills and the teacher said they were cheaper. I asked if they were 1/3 the price.... You do get what you pay for.

HT2518 I've migrated from PC to IMAC, but it has created new users. I can't access these user accounts even though I've set up passwords for them as administrator. Can you assist?

I have transferred files from PC to IMac using Migration assistant. This has automatically set-up new users on the IMac and I can't access these. As administrator, I have set-up passwords for these new users, but when i try to acces these new users usung those passwords, the screen shakes as if the passwords are incorrect. Any suggestions?

There have been a few similar posts here. Are you trying to log on to the new user account(s) via Fast User Switching? If so, apparently that doesn't work. You need to turn that off (via System Preferences > Users & Groups > Login Options. Remove the check from the Show fast user switching .... box.
Then log out of all accounts, restart, select the new account from the login screen and you should be prompted to set the password.
I'm not sure a screenshot will help (and to be honest I'm not sure how to do screenshots on the IMac - I've been a PC man for over a decade!).
In most places, Shift+Cmd+3 will print the entire screen; Shift+Cmd+4 will produce a "target" you can drag over a portion of the screen.
EDIT: by "most places" I mean after you're logged-on, and OSX knows your preferences about how & where to put the screenshot. So it won't work on the login screen itself.

My hp deskjet 1510 series does not print when connected to my hp lap top (windows Vista), it says the printer is not active, although it is default printer, connected and on. However, it does work when connected to the (also HP) lap top (windows 8) of my husband. I did everything the hp print and scan doctor advised and also what I could find at HP support (like switch of fire walls, reinstall everything, check printpooler ec etc)... it still does nothing except that I managed to print a diagnostic print which should give information about the condition, but it only gives numbers and letters like : 11. SN = [Edited for Personal Information] Yr 12 PER = 05YR etc, that does not really help me :-). It won't print any testpages. H E L P!!!

I understand you're unable to print using the Deskjet 1510. I will do my best to assist you! When you reinstall the HP software, did the installation state it was complete?
I would start off by following this HP document on 'Printer is offline' Message Displays on the Computer and the Printer Will Not Print. From this document, please make sure you check the connection type and the ports.

When I did that twice, it did not work. How long does it take for the clear history to work? I am a brand new
user of the ipad2 and I am disappointed that this is happening already.

Have you been able to access the internet previously and now it's suddenly not working, or are you still trying to access the internet for the first time on your iPad? Are you at home trying to connect through your home router? If you are at home, did you put your home routers encryption code as your password? The encryption code is what your iPad is looking for and it is usually found on the router and is typically a 13 digit combination of letters and numbers. Let us know......
