Access to javascript training help?

There is a developer section of the Adobe site that has some information I need but when I tried to log into it and it said "Insufficient privileges (HTTP 403 error)You are not authorized to view this content"
Does anyone know how I might gain access to this area? https://partners.adobe.com/asn/developer/training/acrobat/javascript/main.html

Upgraded to Mainstage 2 where's Loopback and JavaScript error help manl

Just upgraded Logic 8/Mainstage to Logic 9/Mainstage 2.0.0. Where is the LOOPBACK? I have the Playback plugin in my Plugin dropdown menu amongst my other software instruments but Loopback is not there....or anywhere!
Also, can't access Logic or Mainstage HELP manuals....says JavaScript is not enabled.....but JavaScript IS enabled in both Safari and Firefox.

Two answers:
1. Loopback is in the Delay folder
2. JavaScript. Well, I've simply searched for "JavaScript" in the Logic Studio forums (the search box is on the right side under "Search Discussions"), here is the answer:
Open Terminal.app and type (or paste):

Go up to the top of your screen on iTunes and click on 'Store'. Then go down to 'Authorize This Computer'. That should cover part of it unless you've already authorized a bunch of other computers to use your account. If that's the case, you'll have to go to one of those computers and click the button just below it to 'deauthorize your account' from that computer. If you're not able to access the store, check your internet connection to make sure you are connected. Hope this helps.. good luck!

How to access a javascript variable from Java?

Here is my code:

The only way to pass values between JavaScript and JSP is through cookies. It sucks, I know, but right now that is the only option.
You already are creating a cookie in JavaScript. So go ahead and read it in Java:
Cookie[] cookies = request.getCookies();
for(int i = 0; i < cookies.length; i++) {
    Cookie c = cookies;
if (c.getName().equals("un")) {

Hi,
I am an artist who appreciates the awesome power of Javascript, and I have come to realize how great it would be to become proficient in it.
I wanted to ask this community:
1. Can you recommend any really excellent Javascript training for beginners?
2. Can you recommend any really excellent Javascript ILLUSTRATOR training for beginners?
These resources can be free or paid for, either way.
I have used Lynda.com before and video tutorials are great. I am open to anything (Web, books, DVDs) I am even considering classes taught locally.

You can start with gaining an understanding of the basic make up of any programming language:
ie: Variables, Conditions, Loops, Arrays, Operators, Functions, etc.,
Once you have this understanding you can learn Illustrators own language for scripting its object model. The illustrator scripting javascript reference has lots of example codes with in it, in addition to these example snippets and codes, look at and study others illustrator codes here at the forum and across the web to gain further knowledge, understanding, inspiration.

When was the last time you did any of the following?
Restart your computer?
Repaired Permission & restarted your computer?
Run "Repair Disk" from your install DVD?

Yes, you are right. The web-based online help is available only for the current version of Photoshop. I also discovered how to access the online help that originally came on my CS4 disk. You turn on the offline option (Windows>Extensions>Connections). With the online help from the disk and the PDFs you pointed out, I am happy. Thank you very much. I have tried both ways. Generally I save a current quote to desktop and so open the programme by clicking on the quote thumbnail.

This is Windows 98, you say, so that means there isn't much in the way of user security on it. The only way I can think of that you could get that message when trying to write a file First.class is that First.class already exists, but it's read-only so you can't delete it to make way for the new version.

Hi, you may have resolved this issue already, but if not...
There should be one copy of MediaAccessibility.dll in the folder:
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support (32-bit systems) or
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support (64-bit systems)
If you can locate the file, right-click on it and select Properties, then on theDetails tab it should have File Version - 48.1.0.11. If it has a different version number then it is out of date and is likely to be cause of the problem.
Please search your Programs Files and/or Programs Files (x86) folders for all copies of the file MediaAccessibility.dll - Any other copies of the file in different locations are likely to be out of date, but might be called in error by an executable file in the same folder, thereby causing the error.
Should you find more than one copy of MediaAccessibility.dll could you please let me know in which other locations it was found. This will let us more effectively help others with the same issue by suggesting where they should look. If you have the correct version, in the correct place, then deleting any others should fix your problem. This is similar to the QTMovieWin.dll issue dealt with in the first box of the user tip Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
If you don't have the correct version of the file then completely removing all components, deleting the named folders, and reinstalling as suggested in the second box of the user tip should work. You could try repairing Apple Application Support alone from the the Programs and Features or Add/Remove Programs control panel first as that would be quicker, but only if it works.
