Hi all
Me by very stupid and easy question :
can I disable expire_date ( set to null in dba_users) ... I use only default profile and some user have date to expire and some not , can I disable it , this is database for testing

Yes you can clear the password expiry date, but not from the dba_users, this is just a read only view. You have to do it by resetting the value at the default profile:
alter profile default limit PASSWORD_LIFE_TIME unlimited;
If some users are to expire their password and some others not, then I suggest you to create two different profiles, or at least create one more profile which will be assigned to people who are to expire their paswords.

I have a new iphone and cannot delete the backup from icloud. It says that it is in use. I have read some of the other threads and it only seems to be haphazard solutions. Is there a definite way to fix this? I am not able to change icloud accounts.

Hi,
I'd like to know if there´s a way to assign different FM posting dates, for each line of a distributed item in a PO or PR.
Example:
Purchase Requisition 4500000010
Item 1 (has 2 different account assignments or is distibuted by percentage)
50% goes to fund center XXXX, etc.
50% goes to fund center YYYY, etc.
Right now we have the update profile for the PR set to delivery date, but it will assign the same FM posting date to the two different account assignments of item 1, because delivery date is on Item level. What I need is to know if there's a way to indicate the system to take different posting dates for each account assignment within the Item 1.
I hope that I was clear enough to make understand.

We are using account factsheet BP_ACCOUNT_FS...In this account sheet,data is not populated .Service order assignment blocks is not populated..

They are maintainig the account fact sheet ZCC_FS_ACT in work center ,PFCG role id - SAP_CRM_UIU_IC_AGENT ,.Now account fact sheet is avialbe in work center of icagent.Now if we open any account- then click account fact sheet there is no data is not displayed in assignment blocks of service orders,service sales and ibase all....
Data is not populating in accoutn fact sheet..,..if you possible tell me steps and how to do it.?and if you share any information its great and help ful for me?

Is there any way to re-instate an email sub accoun...
Yesterday one of my email sub-accounts was compromised and 'deleted' from the yahoo mail server.
The BT Techs suggested that I delete the reference to the sub-account on my 'Account' management page so that I could then re-instate the sub-account after 5-12 hours, when it would have been 'properly'
deleted from the yahoo mail server. On trying to re-instate the original sub-account today (after nearly 24 hours) I kept getting the message that I could not do this as the username already existed.
More calls to BT tech support, resulting in an escalated problem, but with the outcome that I will have to wait 110 days before the account is truly 'gone'.
BT/Yahoo do not believe that they can restore the email account, which is frustrating as this account is used for all our business emails, and has been for 18 months now.
I spoke to a really helpful bloke at BT this afternoon/evening who suggested asking about the problem on here, so here is the timeline.
9.35am Mon 23rd - Security window popped up asking
me to verify my login by entering my password. This didn't work (twice on Apple
and once on PC)
Tried to reset my password via the usual security (DOB & place of birth). No luck - was told that my place of birth and DOB did not match those on record! Alarm bells. Tried this three times, just to be
sure.
9.54am Mon 23rd - Called BT broadband help to ask them to nip into account to see, but the stored details were not the true ones.
10.00am onwards - Eventually discovered that my security answer had been changed to 'Compromised' (or a version of this). With the techs help I was able to get into my security check area and correct all details and change the security question and logon password.
BT Tech told me that there was no evidence of my sub-account (despite the fact I could see it listed on my screen along with 8 others).
Because they couldn't find it there was no way to log in to reset the password...
To simplify things for BT I deleted six of the sub accounts I no longer use, leaving only the one in question and one other that is still 'live'
I was then advised to delete the sub account so that I could create it again. (Apparently after 5-12 hours)
End of call
14:05 - Sent test mail to sub account from another email address, and received the usual 'out of office reply'
Account obviously still there
Further, repeated mails across the rest of the day were not bounced back (as they would be if the account had been deleted)
Tuesday 24th - Tried to create 'new' sub account with the same name as my original, now that nearly 24 hours had passed. No joy - username still exists
Further calls to BT and the problem was escalated...to where I am now.
No BT/Yahoo way of restoring the account because it's been deleted, although it will still exist
Have to wait 110 days to re-create, but business critical as 40,000 magazines are printed each month with this address in them.
So...
is there any way to re-create the path to the deleted email account? Or...
is it possible for BT to restore to the username from a backup snapshot from Sunday? Or...
is there any way to set up a remote forwarding protocol despite the fact there is no loger a login?
Any help gratefully received.

Hi. Welcome to the forums.
A deleted sub account actually goes into a limbo state, and is actually 90 days (or 3 calendar months) before it is actually put back into the "unused" state. Hence any emails sent to this deleted sub account will not bounce, and any forwarding or out of office type settings are still active.
You will not be able to re-create it as is already exists as this limbo state. All emails to it (unless using forwarding) will not be stored on the servers as far as I am aware.
A few years ago now, it was possible to delete a sub account (from the primary, as this controls the accounts) and re-add immediately, but this changed to the 90 day feature.
Unfortunately deleting the sub account was actually the wrong thing to do in this case. As you had already managed to alter the security details and DoB - in fact I always recommend that these are not as expected. For example "My first car" - you can put anything here, not a car, and for DoB - use something that isn't your DoB - any old date will do. As long as these answers are recalled by yourself. With the huge boom in social media sites, these sorts of details are not too hard to find and many folk can fall foul to their accounts being compromised.
Anyway, after altering the details - there was no need to delete the account!, and I'm afraid that the advice was incorrect.

How do I change the primary SMTP server address on my iPhone DOT-MAC accoun
My original account smtp settings were for dot-mac. I am having ever increasing problems getting mail to send. I can find the settings for my primary SMTP server, but cannot edit or update them (currently smtp.mac.com), as they are all gray'd out and cannot be changed. I would like to update these settings to smpt.me.com. Is it necessary for me to delete this account in order to update the settings? That seems rather lame.
What did not work? You could not add an additional SMTP server? It does not matter what the primary is listed as....turn it off. Then turn on the additional server you added.
Better yet remove your .mac account and add it back as .me account.

How do i delete an app that has been downloaded by someone using my apple accoun
I got an email from apple today saying an app has been downloaded in taiwan under my id, so i have changed my password, but want to delete the download, can i do this from my ipad? Obviously the app isnt on my ipad home page so cant hold and delete as its on whoever computer downloaded it!! But when i go app store on my ipad and view purchases its there but doesnt give me option to delete, do i have to log into itunes on a computer to delete the download.

I am trying to change my icloud account information on my iphone. I tried deleting the old account but couldnt because i dont have the password for the old account. My previous Apple ID account email address was hacked and they changed my password. I went to iForgot but they cant send the password to me via email because that account is disabled. Stuck with a number attached to a Microsoft accoun...
We have a Microsoft Account and then we purchased a Skype Number. Because we have a Microsoft Account we can't use a DECT phone with Skype function because the username (which starts live isn't accepted.
This means we're stuck using the PC connection for incoming calls and not a real phone as we'd planned. All of our literature has the Skype Number on it, but I'm starting to think we'll have to ditch the Skype number unless we can transfer it to a proper Skype account.when you have the text go to message details then you can call from the list there

I got a text saying that I don't pay my bill, my service is going to get cut off by the end of the day. I don't have the funds to pay it in full, so I paid half the amount. Would that suffice? Or would I have to pay it in its entirety to save my service from being cut off?
As it was pointed out making prior arrangements could of helped extend the time you need to get your account back in order..
But if you have to have the phone and its the only thing you have to make calls, I would try other means ( Family, Friends, or other ) to get the rest of the balance payed and you can pay at a Corporate store using the stores Kiosk machine.! You can pay with Cash, Credit or I think with a check but using a check I'd ask the Local store how the policy is on that..

I have 2 sub accounts, one for my wife's use and one for my daughters. My daughter has forgotten her password so I want to reset it for her but NOT delete the account. When I follow the "help" on this subject it takes me to a page like "Manage my sub accounts" but the only options I am given are create a new sub account or delete a current one?

What you need to do is go further up the page (that gives you the option to delete or create a new one) and Click "Change my Password".
You may have to login again to your primary account.
On the next screen that opens you change the email address to that of your daughter and then click forgotten password.
When asked for the email address again use your daughters.
The security questions however are for your primary account.

Add a "Wanted List" to the iTunes store/iTunes Store accouns
There should the capability to create a "wanted list" of things that you'd like to get at some time in the future, or be able to quickly access if you stumble across something but don't want to buy it yet. It could be a simple button next to each product that you could click and add to your list, which could somehow be associated with your iTunes store account, and possibly even link to MobileMe if a person happens to have that account. That could make it easier for people to purchase their own items, and make it easy to let that person share the link to their list for Christmas Lists, etc... (to get other people to buy things off your list). Maybe another way to think of it would be "bookmarks" of items in the iTunes store.
