Accounts pref pane is invisible! Please help!
I discovered that in system preferences I cannot open the ACCOUNTS preferences pane... It starts loading infinitely... and nothing happens but empty screen. I have red all topics on this but it seams no one got the right answer..
Tried to delete plist files cache files, everything but this did not help at all..
Powerbook G4 1.5G / 1.25G DDR Mac OS X (10.4.4)
I've had problems like that when I mess around in netinfo too much and end up deleting or heavily modifying the /users domain, so it could be netinfo, but by now you've already had a backup made of your corrupt database so...just about screwed unless you want to delete the current one and start fresh.
but it could be something else, so don't go unloading your files onto an external HD just yet.

lots of people seem to be havgin a problem sending email from iCloud webmail.
does your email address have uppercase characters in it?
if so, try creating an alias in lowercase (go to preferences in iCloud webmail and select 'accounts') and see if email sends okay from that -

The question mark means the computer cannot find a bootable volumes so can;t do anything, That, combined with annoying sounds, strongly suggests a failed hard drive.
You can ask a "genius" at an Apple Rtail Store to test it but I'm pretty sure the drive is kaput. I'm hoping you had your data backed up. -

I'm not sure what you mean when you say "by phone". If you mean that you want to change your iTunes Store account settings from your iPhone, see:

If you mean that you want to be able to call someone and make a change to your iTunes Store account, you can't.

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

If you have a rescue email address (which is not the same thing as an alternate email address) set up on your account then go to https://appleid.apple.com/ and click 'Manage your Apple ID' on the right-hand side of that page and log into your account. Then click on 'Password and Security' on the left-hand side of that page and on the right-hand side you should see an option to send security question reset info to your rescue email address.
If you don't have a rescue email address (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you won't get the reset option - you will need to contact iTunes Support or Apple to get them reset.
e.g. you can try contacting iTunes Support : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page, then Account Management , and then 'Forgotten Apple ID security questions'
or try ringing Apple in your country and ask to talk to the Accounts Security Team : http://support.apple.com/kb/HE57
When they've been reset (and if you don't already have a rescue email address) you can then use the steps half-way down this page to add a rescue email address for potential future use : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5312 -

Welcome to the Apple community.
Once three iCloud accounts have been created on any iOS device, it can you no longer be used to create any more accounts, regardless of what you do to it. You will need to use a computer or another iOS device to create your account and then use the details to log into your account on your phone. -

I just created an Apple Id for my wife and a user account for her. We are on the same computer (iMac). I cant for the love of God get my itunes library to show on her user account on computer. My library shows up under shared library when i select it it just keeps loading and nothing. When i try the hold down option while opening itunes on her user account and then choose library my library doesnt show up as option. What in the world am i doing wrong, why is Apple making this so difficult. We are not going to buy separte computers just to share itunes content. Please help.
You can sync devices with the same iCloud ID, not seperate ones.
If she has a different login on your Mac, make sure she has her own ID defined in System Prefs > iCloud -

I had this same problem today. I have been battleing it for the past 5 hours, but it worked. You have to create a new account though.
What I did was go to iTunes and click Sign in, then made a new account.
But I didn't want to put in a Credit Card number, so what I did was
Open iTunes
Go to iTunes Store
Search a totaly free app. (I used Google Earth)
Click on the app from the list
Click the button under the icon that says "Free App"
Then it will ask you to sign in or make a new account, Select Make New Account
Follow All the steps on all the pages.
When you get to the page that you select your Credit Card, check "None"
Fill in the rest of the info and then click Complete
Verify your email
I hope this helped you. Strangely, you can only select "None" Under Credit Card if you do it this way. Must be some iTunes bug. -

Can someone please help me escalate my problem to a person from skype support that actually will listen to me?
I have tried to solve the problem with first-line support, to no avail.
My account was blocked last week, and I contacted support, which resulted in going nowhere.
The storyline:
- In the last year I was rarely using skype for calling phones (though I regularly use it for skype-to-skype calling) - mainly because I have a good offer from a local operator. However, last week this solution temporarily failed. I saw I still have credit in my skype account, so I tried to call a phone by skype. First time it gave me "destination is temporarily blocked". I thought it is a sort of a technical issue, so I tried the number many times, with no success. Next day it gave me "account blocked".
- Then I contacted support, and each time they came with ridiculous answers like "increased number of fraudulent calls to that number", or " your transaction has been carried out with a fraudulent credit card ", without giving me the opportunity to prove these are false. After that they seem to have closed the ticket, without any explanation, or solution.
I am really disappointed by skype. The time I most needed their service, I didn't get it. And it seems support does not care about customers at all.Please disregard the above request - the problem was solved today.
