This is normally the frontend PC's problem with the
controls/dlls.
This MESSAGE_TYPE_X short dump is mostly caused by unstable processing in Frontend / SAPGUI or in its installation. The common solution for this problem is to use another stable SAPGUI version with uninstalling the existing and installing another version.
The stable version doesn't mean the latest version but certain patches level. Most of the time the certain patches level is also the latest one. So try first to use the latest GUI version such as SAPGUI 7.10 patches level 2.
Sometimes applying the only patches doesn't work, we need to uninstall the SAP GUI completely then install another.
We also need to consider the maintenance period of our SAPGUI, we can start seeing this from http://service.sap.com/pam (Product Availability Matrix).

or you can do in this way
On BW go to SE16. Look at RSSDLINIT table. Match up the LOGSYS with your OLTPSOURCE (for the infopackage that is causing the problem).
Delete that line(s)
Now you can open the infopackage. (be sure to delete the initialization) before you run the info pack again.)

What was the exact issue? As Attribute change run is a different step where as loading of data from PSA to cube is a different step...
So there is no reason of failure for attribute change run in between....
If ACR failed before to the loading of data to cube, then re-run the ACR from RSA1>Tools->aplly/monitor change run-->in the info objects list find the infoobject and execute....
Unless you clear this ACR failure issue you can't load the data to the cube as it may be in locked mode....
After this is successful, then u can load the data from PSA to cube.

ACR Raw images wont copy to Jpeg or Tiff; as it fails with "Cannot Create File"

I've been using Photoshop CS6 for several years, never a problem at all. As soon as I bought Creative Cloud, I see many issues that cannot be resolved or are recurring.
Again today as I go to copy files (images) from Adobe Camera Raw, to say a Tiff or a Jpeg, it appears to begin to copy as normal, then suddenly a box appears with all my copying
file name/numbers, and it begins to eliminate one by one "Cannot Create File", failing the entire process to copy. I have never seen this until I began using Creative Cloud about a
month ago.
Can anyone help this Saturday evening as i am trying to complete a large project of images for others who expect them soon.?

Another forum respondent just replied also, and he states as so many others do, that they do not use
the Adobe Camera Raw app formerly with CS6, as they instead use Lightroom, so he apologized that he
was not familiar with ACR but that I might have an old CS6 plug-in running that may not be completely
compatible with the new Creative Cloud. I am not sure if this is the problem.
What I would find as not really likely, is that the Creative Cloud engineers would go through all the trouble
to redesign from the old CS6, then even assist us over the phone to help install it, but in oversight,
leave us without a proper update to properly run Adobe Camera Raw. I also have never really understood the advantage of Lightroom. I'm sure that many must enjoy its efficiency, as I hear wedding photographers like it for huge batch processing of adjusting many images in synchronicity all at once. I would say that I do the same with ACR accessing it through Bridge, and I like ACR's quick and simple access for simple image adjustments and then say a small batch all synchronized, then finally to "Save As" for all selected to a final output as Tiff or Jpeg.
As an astronomer that has just started learning to use Registax for night sky images, we also like the ACR adjustments and then to "Save As" eg. all Jpeg or all Tiff, to then photo-stitch large landscape and night sky panoramas with Microsoft ICE photo-stitching.
Sorry for the long description here, but I hope to relate the total idea of what I am doing for the past years. I'll even attach an example >

Failing at ACR step in process chain?

Could any body explain on this topic?
In process chain job mostly the chain was failing at ACR(attribute change run) step. that it is materdata ACR step.i want permanent solution for this step? I want find why this ACR step is failing weekly twice not regularly.
So,plz any body help on this..

What is happening here is that while the ACR process is trying to run in one chain(the main MD chain) most probably another chain is already getting kicked off before the MD chain and its ACR process is RUNNING while the main MD chain's ACR process is trying to kick off.
-Try to have sufficient spacing between the process chain batch scheduling runs so that 2 ACR processes NEVER clash.
-An ACR process while running,locks the MD tables and so no MD loads on those said infoobjects should kick off while the ACR process is running.
-goto Tools->Attr/Change run.It does contain a short log of the past ACR runs.Maybe u can get details about..at which day/time ACR process taking long time.
-Recommend that u have single ACR process at the end of the MD load chain.U can even have a meta chain having all MD chains as local chains and then put an AND collector from the local chains and map it to a ACR process.Right click on the ACR process and then insert the list of all MD infoobjects that are being loaded in all the local chains.

ACR 6.1 (Mac) Update fails

When I try to install the ACR 6.1 using the Adobe Patch tool supplied in the disk image, the install fails with this message:
Adobe Application Manager
Some updates failed to install.
The following updates were unable to install. If you wish to install these updates, please fix the problems below and retry:

Installation failed
Contact Customer Support for further assistance.
There appears to be no way to determine why the install failed unless there are log files somewhere. Contacting Customer Support results in another download of Adobe Support Advisor. Running it produces this somewhat confusing message:
Found issues generated after 05/11/2010 00:00:00:
The module found no issues to report for the selected log file. If you continue to have difficulties with the application, please contact Adobe Support.
After reading other install issues, I have tried the install after a reboot with same results.

I have exactly the same problem with trying to install ACR 6.1 on an iMac under OSX 10.6.3.
So I rebooted and tried again - no go.
Uninstalled CS5 and also used the Adobe clean script at http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cs5clean.html .
Reinstalled CS5.
Tried again - get the same error:
Photoshop Camera Raw 6.1 Update
Installation failed
Any advice appreciated. Or maybe I just wait for the final release.

ACR 8.4 CC RC install fails with AAM message 'patch not applicable'

ACR 8.4 CC RC install fails with AAM message 'patch not applicable' - Running Photoshop CC on OSX 10.7.5
Anyone seen this or have any ideas for a fix?
I also have my legacy CS6 installed on the same Mac - tried installing ACR 8.4 CS6 RC and that fails with the same dialogue box from AAM
The DNG converter installs no issue.

Do you have some other software, like Photoshop Elements 12 on your system that would generally also be compatible with ACR 8.4 final but isn’t compatible with the RC because the RC’s only for PS users?
I installed the RC the same day it was released on my computer that has PS-CS6 & PS-CC with Windows 7 and it worked ok, so the update generally works, but something isn’t on your systems.
Are you up-to-date with your PS-CC version, which seems to be 14.2.1:

ACR 5.6 Install: "done with error" "failed to install"

ACR 5.6 fails to install on my XP 32-bit system (Photoshop CS4) with the above message.
Photoshop and Bridge are not running, I extract the files from the zip and run the .exe setup file, but the installer fails.
I would like to install and use with my Canon 7d files and would appreciate any help you are able to provide.

First thing to check if windows is activated.
Secondly if the first option is valid then add the following registry keys:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Bootstrap] "BootstrapDir"="C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\"
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Bootstrap\Setup] "PatchLevel"="11.00.2100.60"
Then copy from the media / temp setup directory following files / folder into C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\110\Setup Bootstrap\SQLServer2012
x64 folder, resources folder, setup.exe.
Change to x86 when necessary.

ACR 5.7 fails to install

Hi, ACR 5.7 downloads but does not install. Starts to install then a pop up window states "failed to install" and "installation incomplete. Have Design Premium Cs4.

Follow the directions at the bottom of each page on how to install. IMPORTANT: the install location is precise. Please follow the instructions carefully!
There can only be one Camera Raw plug-in in the appropriate folder. So remove the one that's already there, or say yes when you're asked to replace the one that's there (if there is one).

Well, it seems waiting is not my strong suit..! I renamed a javascript file called recovery to sessionstore. This file was in the folder sessionstore-backups I had copied from mozilla 3 days ago, when my tabs were still in place. I replaced the sessionstore in mozilla's default folder with the renamed file and then started mozilla. And the tabs reappeared as they were 3 days ago!
So there goes the tab problem. But again when I started mozilla the window saying "a script has stopped responding" appeared, this time the script being: chrome//browser/contenttabbrowser.xml2542
If someone knows how to fix this and make firefox launch normally, please reply! Thank you

Bridge CS6 after editing in ACR--rating system fails

I rate my images with 1 star. Then I select and open them in ACR and edit. After I click "done" some of the files are no longer rated. I have to go lookin the unlabeled files for the missing images. Then when I try to restar them--it won't let me give it a 1 star. I can give it another rating, and then after that it will let me rate it at a 1 star. This only occured when I switched to CS6 from CS3.

Some have no problems with ratings and others find they disappear, so don't have any solution. Be sure and wait a few seconds as it seems like it is not instantaneous, especially with video.

ACR update fails-"product not found"

I have PSE 6/mac & LR. I get an Adobe Updater notification of ACR 4.6 but when clicked to install, it comes back with error message essentially saying 'the product to be updated can't be found'. It also says something about this being an update for CS3 which I don't have but perhaps is what is 'under the hood' of PSE6 (?).
I just want to do the update or get it to stop asking to upgrade every day or two if, in fact, I don't have this as part of PSE 6.

PSE can never auto update ACR. Go here:

download the 5.5 update and manually install it, following the directions EXACTLY. Be sure to remove the old plug-in first.
Also, PSE 6 is based on CS3, which is why you see that wording in the message.

ACR Update 6.5 fails to install

I have been trying to install ACR Update 6.5 on my MacBook Pro running 10.6.8 and CS5. I have tried running the updater from Photoshop and downloading the update and installing it and I get the same error every time.

Go to the Camera Raw product page and download and install the update manually...Adobe Updater doesn't always do the right thing with regards to Camera Raw.

Trying to update ACR to 7.3 but keeps failing

Update keeps failing and telling me that Adobe application manager is faulty and needs to be reinstalled. i have reinstalled it twice but still fails.
teh computer is running Windows 7, procesoor i7, 8GB Ram. I have made sure that Application Manager is running with administrator priveleges

Ok yes you should be able to start with installing the Adobe Application Manager in that case. So you will know right away if you are continuing to face installation difficulties. If you do please also try running the CS Clean Tool. Nikon D800 Images Fail To Open ACR 7 / PS

Images simply do not open in PS6 / ACR 7 from the Nikon D800
The images were loaded to PC HD using up to date ViewNX2
