AcroExch Microsoft Word insert object

Hi,
I have encountered with the same error message when inserting pdf files as Object File in Microsoft Word for 3 scenarios. The message is
“The program used to create this object is AcroExch. That program is either not installed on your computer or its is not responding. To edit this object, install AcroExch or ensure that any dialog boxes in AcroExch are closed.”
My configurations are as follows:
Configuration 1
1. Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit, English
2. Microsoft Word 2010, part of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 64-bit, English
3. Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, English
Configuration 2
1. Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit, English
2. Microsoft Word 2010, part of Microsoft Office Professional Plus 2010 64-bit, English
3. Adobe Acrobat X Pro 10.1.10, part of Adobe CS6 Master Collection English
Configuration 3
1. Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit, English

It looks like that functionality is not included within the Report Generation Toolkit. It is possible to produce the desired behavior through ActiveX commands. I was able to create some sample code that successfully inserted a multipage RTF file into a report. I did this by using the Word._Document reference to generate a Word.Range reference. The Range reference has an InsertFile method. This seems to input the file at the proper location.
Could you give this a try and let me know how it goes?
Also, just so you know, you are using an unsupported configuration of MS Office and LabVIEW. Most of the functionality should work, but there might be some glitches.

Word insert object vi only inserts first page of multipage rtf file?

Hi,
I need to insert a multi-page rtf file into my report template. In Microsoft Word, this is achieved by selecting 'Insert, Object, Text from File', which inserts all pages of the rtf file. How is this achieved in the LabView Microsoft Report Generation Toolkit? When I use the insert object vi, it only inserts the first page of the rtf file? I've tried other insert methods but insert object is the only vi that keeps the formatting (i.e. rtf file contains tables).
In summary, I can insert an rtf file as an object to a bookmark, but only the first page of the rtf file is inserted. Does anyone know how to insert a multi-page rtf file?

My Microsoft Word inserts a page break when I hit return

If I press delete to remove the page break, it brings the sentence back into the previous paragraph. If I hit return again to make the sentence into a new paragraph, as it is supposed to be, the computer/program inserts a page break, vaulting me onto the next page and leaving the previous half-page (or a bit more) blank.
Ideas? I have restarted.

Try the following:
Select the paragraph following the unwanted page break.
On the Format menu, click Paragraph, and then click the Line and Page Breaks tab.
Clear the Keep lines together, Keep with next, and Page break before check boxes.

How do you add a row to an existing specific table (ie. Table 2) in an active Microsoft word document via applescript?

I've tried:

insert rows at bottom of table 2 of active document

with no luck?
I've also tried various oher permutations.
Would some be able to help with this?

Word insert pdf object problem

Adobe 8.1 and Word 2003 sp3 are installed on XP64 box.
From word, when we do insert > object > Adobe Acrobat Document (Create New) we get the error: This object was created in AcroExch. This application is not available to open this object. Make sure the application is properly installed and that it has not been deleted, moved, or renamed.
If instead we do: insert > object > Adobe Acrobat Document (Create From File): All we get is an Acrobat icon, we should get an image of the document.
Please help, we have exhausted all possible solutions from this forum and the internet.

I know this is an od post but we have been experiencing the same problem since rolling out reader 9.3 on PCs that did not have a previous version of the Adobe Reader.
Found the solution was some missing registry entries (below)... Hope it may help someone.

Conversion of a Word 2010 Document with inserted objects to pdf with adobe acrobat XI

I am working in a Wrod document with inserted objects such as ppt files, word documents and even pdf documents. you open the word document, push in the object and then the inserted file opens. I have converted it to pdf with one button click and the index works, that's to say, you press in the index and you go to the section selected. However the inserted objects are images and you can no open them.
Do you know how to keep the inserted objects????

Pretty sure that the PDF will contain exactly what you'd get if you printed the Word document. There is no promise or expectation that objects will be "live".

AFAIK, you can (optionally) install the "Primary Interop Assemblies" when installing Word. (see also: How to: Install Office Primary Interop Assemblies)

You will need to find a forum for MS Word since that is the software that you are trying to manipulate in this. If you think the processing/creation of the PDF plays a role then you should ask in the forum for the software that you are using to create the PDF.
This forum is for issue regarding downloading and installing Adobe trial products, so in any circumstance, your issue does not fit in this forum.

Integrating Microsoft Word documents with ADF BC and JClient technologies

We are developing a Police Management System in JAVA with the Oracle Jdeveloper 10.1.2.0.0. We are using for the access to the data, in the businesses tier, the ADF Business Component Technology and for the User Interface, in the client tier, the JClient for ADF Technology. The used Database is Oracle Enterprise Edition 10.1.0.3.0. with the intermedia option.
We were looking for ways to upload and insert Microsoft Word Documents into a view object using JClient on the client tier. We have found the following options:
1) Oracle Intermedia database datatype ORDSYS.ORDDOC and their corresponding ADF Business Compomnents domains -> The problem is using Jclient on the client tier. In Oracle JDeveloper 10g, developers will not be able to create new applications using JClient interMedia controls. JUImage (limited to images only) is the JClient control available to access multimedia in the database.
2) Oracle COM Automation Feature -> We were studying the possibility to built a solution with Oracle and Microsoft Word using Oracle COM Automation Feature for Java. The problem is Oracle COM Automation Feature requires Windows NT, Windows XP, Windows 2000, or Windows Server 2003. We are using a database on linux, therefore this option is not valid.
3) CLOBs in database and theirs corresponding ADF Business Components domains -> But I don't know how to use ADF BC objects in JClient tier.

Insert object (pdf) in excel getting error. need help

When we try to insert a PDF file as an object we get the error. could not load object.
This is what we are doing
insert - object - create from file - display as icon.
We select the file and get the error.
We are on a windows 7 64-bit system with Office 2010 but project 2013 and Acrobat reader XI.
Any Ideas as to why?

Where did you get the PDF file from ? Did you create it yourself? What software did you use to create the PDF file?
Does this issue happen the all PDF files? Please try to save a Microsoft Word document as PDF file and then test this issue with this PDF file again.
In addition, please try to temporarily uninstall the Adobe Reader and then test the issue again. Also make sure you have the latest adobe reader installed.

Can DocumentManger class can be used to remove security policy from secured Microsfot word docuemnts.
Or protable protection library is the only way to deal with Microsoft word documents?
I want my application to remove the strip off all security information from the document and re insert the same again at a later point.

Event if I try with user who can access document after connecting to LiveCycle ES2 from Microsoft Word 2007 I am getting same exception.
I can acess document from MS Word after I have secured it using all users who have right permission for document but from java client I am not able to do that. Looks like RMS information is not embedded properly in my document.
