Action 'is not valid' used in Business rule, but when rule condition met variable set to "unassigned"

I have used "is not valid" in the action and set the action as " Manager is not valid" . But when the condition is met, the Manager field is assigned with "unassigned" value. I do not have other rules, which use default to "unassigned".
Still for the records satisfying the condition, i see that the value of Manager column for those records is becoming "unassigned".
I do not want the manager value to be reset to unassigned. I just want the validation failure to be reported over mail.

Swap, is this still an issue?

I had the exact same error using a user decision configuration. Issue was that I was using a VIEW that did not exist:
ItemType name="uwl.task.webflow.TS90300005" connector="WebFlowConnector" defaultView="DefaultApprovalView">
DefaultApprovalView was not defined as a custom view.
SOLUTION: changed it to standard SAP com.sap.pct.erp.srvconfig.approvaloverview view and it worked!

This is normally by default defined in a standard portal system.

Not valid use of the New word

Hi,
I have an old script in visual basic 6 which I need to modify.
In the variables declaration I have the following:
Dim test as mscomm
and later I instantiate this variable in the following way:
set test = new mscomm
In the components I have selected the following:
Microsoft comm control 6.0
I must say that it works fine when I have this in an ocx but I would like to debug a piece of code. The error is in the line with the New and the error is: Not valid use of the New word.
Can anybody help me?

You can't have the "set" in VB.NET.
If you create a new project and copy-paste the old VB6 code into your file it will convert most of the code for you to be compatible with VB.NET.
I think MSComm might be a Shared class. If so you don't need "test = new mscomm"
You can just use "test.CommPort = 2" for example. I'm not sure about this because this is the only example I could find.

The Edit Reconciliation Policy action was not valid

I�m trying to �Edit Reconciliation Policy� in IDM 7.1 from Resources -> List Resources and the drop down menu �Resource Type Actions� but It is giving error message *�The 'Edit Reconciliation Policy' action was not valid for one or more of the selections.�* as I select �Edit Reconciliation Policy�. I can edit �Default Reconciliation Policy� but not resource specific. I tried looking in trace logs also but couldn�t get any help.
Can someone help me in this?

I had the same error. When you are trying to Edit Reconciliation Policy for a Resource Type, then you would select it from under the Resource Type Actions. If you select a specific Resource, then you need to select Edit Reconciliation Policy from the Resource Actions (not Resource TYPE Actions). Hope that helps!

- Try restoring the iPod, first from backup and then try to factory settings/new iPod to rule out a software problem.
- Look at the dock connector on the iPod. Look for abnormalities like bent or corroded contacts, foreign material and broken or cracked plastic.
- Could you have damaged something when you took the iPod apart and replaced the Home button?

Update on my problem connecting in Itunes with my Airport Express. Not sure if anything I tried made a difference
but I finally got the Pop up window saying this device requires a Password. I entered the password and I can once again use the Airport Express as a remote speaker.

It is just as the message says. Your video card is not compatible.
You can add a compatible graphics card and use FCP X with your mac. I can't suggest which one, but maybe other people on this forum can guide.
And you may also get good suggestions in the Mac Pro forum.

Your gmail address is still your apple id. Just when you activate your mail and notes, it asks you to create icloud e-mail, which is completely separate and allows you to have one more e-mail address. Just some extra benefit, you don't have to pay for, but useful to save your notes and send e-mail or two if Google server goes down.

Delete the song from your Itunes music list, then redownload it, Itunes will ask you if you if you want to download it for free. This seems to be the fix for my problems.
