Activated CS6 reverting to trial problem for 2 years

I have had this issue for more than 2 years now and still I can't find a solution. Have worked with support on the phone and they were never able to help. All solutions including WMI etc. failed and I can't see where there was ever a fix. So all the money I paid for this software and I have to enter the serial number every time I use any of CS6 Design and Web Premium software. I use Photoshop continuously so most of the time I just keep it turned on. Does anyone at Adobe have a fix for this? I refuse to upgrade until this is resolved for what I have paid for. This has been played out for several months a few years ago on this thread: Activated CS6 reverting to trial. No update or fix except this idiotic fix Adobe put out: 64-bit products convert to trial on launch or prompts for activation after licensing. Please see if there is anything you can do. Looking for new software.

I have had this same problem since June with CS6 Production Premium on win7 64 bit (installed from DVD on Dell XPS15 laptop). As you state, this is a known problem. It has been with "engineering" for over a month, but that doesn't stop front-line support from having customers waste hours going through troubleshooting that won't work ; though to be fair it looks like your troubleshooting was some of the stuff they tried with me most recently and it looks like your experience of using different admin accounts etc has not long term benefit for the affected user (like my experience).     I have Photoshop CS6 on Windows 7 (64 bit).  When I activate it, activation seems to be successful, but a few hour later it reverts to the trial edition.  I have been in contact with Tech Support every day for over 10 days now with no resolution of the problem.  We have tried stopping Windows Management Instrumention, installing as administrator, installing into a new account, installing (updating) Adobe Application manager, several other things I have forgotten.  I have given over (remote) control to a rep using "Connect" (don't know what he did -- too fast), but nothing has worked.  Tech Support finally told me that this is a known issue.  Has anyone on this forum experienced it?  I tried searching, but didn't find anything.

    i downloaded trial version of photoshop, trial ended, and i just purchased photoshop. it wont download. the trial version keeps showing up. i uninstalled and reinstalled multiply times.

    Are you seeing a screen with a License This Software button? If so and you click it does Photoshop activate (you may need to sign in with your Adobe ID)?
    If clicking License This Software does not work, then a few questions:
    Which operating system version are you on?
    Which browser are you using to download?
    You have a Single App subscription via the Creative Cloud, or did you purchase a Photoshop license?

  • Flash Builder 4 Premium reverts to trial version for SDK 4.5.1.

    Windows 7 and Mac OS X 10.6
    Flash Builder 4 Premium, Version 4.0 (build 272416), volume license
    SDK 4.5.1, Flex 3 compatibility mode enabled
    RIATest 4.3 Professional
    RIATest compiled-in agent: RIATestAgent3.swc
    When running RIATest against our application to perform automated tests, I eventually get this alert appearing in  our application:

    This alert never appeared until we upgraded from SDK 3.4.1 to SDK 4.5.1. This problem occurs on Windows 7 and Mac OS X. I updated our code to disable Flex 3 compatibility and use the RIATest agent, RIATestAgent4.swc. This did not change the outcome. Since this is an Adobe licensing issue, there is nothing the makers of RIATest (Cogitek) can do to help me other than to tell me to press the matter with Adobe. I'm using the same legitimate/legal/valid Flash Builder Premium and RIATest licenses as I've been using for a year now.

    In order for you to downgrade you need to hava an AVL license, and yes it is possible, you just need to call support.

  • Export Issue - QT Interactive Slideshow - Same Problem for Years

    Come Apple... give us some real tech support for your software... like Keynote (Live support is equipment centric).
    I had this same issue over a year ago, reported it... and latest upgrade doesn't fix.
    Issue:
    - Export Keynote file as QuickTime Interactive Slideshow
    - Works perfectly on desktop
    - When played in browser... it loops at start, no matter if [first slide] is set to Manual ("On Click") or "Automatically After Transition". No matter if "local", or from my web host.
    - Happens SPORADICALLY... Yes... some files work, most don't. Also, different behavior in different browsers (Safari, Firefox). Who knows what's going on with 92% of the rest of the world (i.e., Explorer).
    Anyone here have any suggestions... Steve Jobs email address?

    Follow the below mentioned settings and check.
    Open an Internet Explorer browser page on your wired computer(desktop).In the address bar type 192.168.1.1 and press Enter...Leave Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
    Click on Advanced Wireless Settings
    Change the Beacon Interval to 75,Change the Fragmentation Threshold to 2304,Change the RTS Threshold to 2304 and Click on Save Settings...
    Now observe the connection.

    no of it works. Never has. I see this problem all over. It's the main reason that users don't switch to Firefox.

    Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

    There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins"
    If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile (be careful not to copy corrupted files)

  • Problem for 309 through BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE

    Hi all,
    I am using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE for material to material transfer activity (309 - movement).
    The problem for me is for certain entries my source and destination sale order should be different, but evenif i provide different sales order in my final work area, the system is considering only source sale order and it is putting the same in destination sale order evenif we have provided destination sale order in our work area.
    may be it is standard functionality or since MB1B doesnt allow sale order change while posting a document.But the same thing can be done through MIGO.
    Can anybody suggest me the function module which allows this activity?

    However you had already stated you did not choose a "free upgrade", but paid the difference for an iPhone. So much for your "free upgrade". Additionally, I was not aware Verizon was in the business of giving away "free service"(s)?????? Purchasing a "free" or "reduced price" phone IS NOT a free service. You sign a contract in exchange for receiving that benefit. There is an upgrade fee along with that service you are contracted to complete or you will be charged an early termination fee(ETF), so this IS NOT a free service.
    Yes, you have a choice to go with another provider which ALSO charges an upgrade fee OR charges you full retail value for your phone. So much for a "free upgrade" there.
    AT&T = upgrade fee
    Sprint = upgrade fee
    T-Mobile = no upgrade fee but must pay full retail cost for the phone
    For what it is worth, you would not have had to pay an upgrade fee had you simply paid full retail cost for your phone OR purchased it with Edge at full retail cost. Depending on your calling plan and data allowance, you may have even ended up paying less for your phone had you done so. That is why a little research before you make a purchase can go a long way.
    I know it is cheaper for me to pay full retail for a phone than to purchase a discounted device in exchange for signing a contract.

  • CS6 which I own and have used for years won't open. Blocked because the system thinks I am a CC user and my trial period has expired

    I own the suit of Adobe Programs which I have been using for years.  They are paid for and registered and I have serial numbers. 
    Today, I cannot open the programs.  The message is: Design and Web Premium Trial. Expired.  I do not want to use CC.  I tried it for a day quite a while ago and decided just to buy the programs. 
    What can I do?

    If you see a trial screen, click on "license this software". I forget if you have to sign in with your Adobe ID/password before or after, but it will give you a serial number option. That is you would see a button, "I have a serial number" or a screen where you input your serial number.
    Once accepted, your software will go back to its' licensed state.
    Also if you still have problems be sure you are still not on any 30 day Cloud plan that you must cancel. Uninstalling CC may not be enough.
    Contact Customer Care to cancel your trial or plan.

    "Similar" problem here. I have bought a new PC, and want to install my precious CS5.5 to the new system.
    All I get is an "illegal serial number" message. Even though I deactivated on the old pc and even though I copy the serial (for the pc version) from my official products page (or whatever that page is called)...
    That's when the ordeal started to get someone at Adobe to figure out what is wrong.
    No voice support for my "old" version. 2011? Old? Come on?!
    The chat support is a Turin test, with no solution whatsoever.
    The websites linked to in the final "chat" lines which should answer my questions are utterly useless.
    So last attempt: I try overhere... and add my questions to you, OP...
    Note that the only way in which I can get a fast human reply is by calling the number for buying the new CC! Shame on you Adobe!

  • I have owned Illustrator CS6 for years now, but all of a sudden it says my trial period will expire.  What is going on?  I do not want to lose my program in 25 days over something I had no part of.

    What is the price to upgrade to the new CC version?  I can't get any information on anything from Adobe.  I am so annoyed with their website, I really have lost interest.  I don't use the cloud, and only want to use 1 or 2 of their products.  The last product I bought, has now been taken over, and says my TRIAL will expire, when I have owned it for years.  It seems like the options are, pay monthly for everything, or get nothing. I'm not sure if this is designed for students, who can use everything, which is a really cool option, but not what I want. 
    I've always been a die hard Illustrator fan, but I have not been able to use other ADOBE products.  I am, or was, really looking forward to the new CC version.

  • CS6 Products requiring serial key suddenly after being used fine since luanch? Wont accept my key (pasted from my adobe account). Reverted to trial. Please help!

    I've had the CS6 Master collection since it was released and havent had any problems with it until today. It is asking me for my serial key (for the first time since its been installed) and says the one I am providing is invalid. What is happening here? I'm giving it the key that is saved in my adobeID and is registered etc. I almost wasnt able to complete some work except that it reverted to a 30 day trial, which isnt much better because I will just need to confront this problem again in 30 days. Does anyone know why it wont accept my key? I have it on a second computer and it is doing the same thing. Both worked fine yesterday. I really wanted to talk to someone, but adobe makes that near impossible.

    OK, I'm aware of an issue discussed in http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/trial--1-launch.html
    This involves a fully registerred version of a Cloud licensed CS6 app reverting to trial mode, usually with a -1 days (I've had +22000 days shown one time!) but basically it gives a days remaining figure even after registerring.
    I believe from reading other forum posts (http://forums.adobe.com/message/4508772#4508772), that its something to do with opening a CS5 application which overwrites CS6 registration files, so triggering a re-registration each time. Adobes response is that they're aware of it and to resolve it, stop using CS5 versions, stick with cs6.
    OK, well, some might find that acceptable, I for one cant do that. I use Extensis web font plugin that comes as part of Font Fusion 4. It installs a plugin which accesses Googles web fonts and allows designers like myself to use live web fonts in their design mockups rather than having to download and install each one each time. It accesses the live list of fonts, and shows them automatically. Unfortunately Extensis cant make a CS6 version of their plugin as they blame Adobe for "issues they need to fix with fonts" before they can roll it out.
    So, I need to use Cs5 for Extensis font plugin (they blame Adobbe), yet want use Cs6 for advanced features (they understandably dont seem to care about fixes for Extensis software). I cant use either as one or the other causes headaches!
    Anyone else getting the trial issue problem and cant just ditch Photoshop CS5 fully like Adobe recommend?
    Anyone else use Extensis Web font pluging and have to use CS5 and CS6 and experiencing the same problem?
    When might Adobe fix the trial issues so I can keep and switch between PS CS6 and CS 6?
    Either that or can Adobe fix whatever "issues" are stopping Extensis from releasing the CS6 version of their plugin, and problem then solved for me?

    An Adobe Photoshop CS6 plug-in will be available after Adobe fixes a known issue that currently prevents font auto-activation and use of Extensis Font Panels by that application.
