Activating a switch in a slave loop to active a send button in another while loop

Hello:
I am using a master loop with a slave loop to perform a sequence test. I added a Can Bus it runs outside the slave loop I can send commands out through the can bus as long the slave loop is not running the sequences. How can I send commads through the can bus while the slave loop runs, I try using variables and network variables.

I added the Can Bus out side the slave loop so it can run continuously, if I place it inside the slave loop it only runs once, it needs to run continuously so to talks back and fort with the control getting or sending commands.
My file is to large our network does not allow large files to be send

From this case, as I understand, if we click "set" button, slave loop will run. If we click this button again to mak it "Flase", the slave loop will be stopped as well as the main loop will be stopped as well.
Now if I have a multi-function main loop, I just want to start or stop slave loop when click "set" button, how can I do it? Thank you very much!

Your understanding is completely wrong. There is nothing in the image you show that would stop either loop. In this situation the "set" button would normally have a latching mechanical action, meaning that when it is pushed, it will stay true until it is read once, at which point it will return to false. Placing the control terminal inside the event case causes the terminal to be read and resets the button to false. With a latching mechanical action, there will be only one event generated even though the boolean will change value twice (from false to true, and from true to false). You'll never have a situation where you push the button once to set it true, and again to set it false. However, even if the mechanical action is switching, not latching, it still won't make a difference here - the event case does the same thing whenever the value changes, regardless of whether it's true or false.

Master and Slave Loops

I'm having problems with my Master and slave loop combination. I would like to be able to start and stop acquiring data from individual thermocouples. Please help.

Dear Nicholas,
My first advise would be to check the examples on master-slave patterns, and run them step by step, looking at what the data does...
In a master-slave system, you use the queue to pass data from the master to the slave.   You're not passing data in the queue... in stead, you're passing data using local variables, which you should NOT do...
In the top loops, you should attach the temp array to the enqueue element.   In the bottom loop, you should remove the temp local, and instead get your data from the dequeue vi.
Also, you have to create a queue with the proper variable.   You can create a queue from any variable type, but it has to know beforehand, and the init vi.
Assuming you want to queue the temp array, you're basic structure should look like this:
It does help if you add your own code, so we can easier edit it for you... Otherwise we need to use photoshop on your design...

Active page Menu button hover styling

I having a bug / issue with the 'Active' state on the menu buttons. Even though the Active state on the buttons are correct in Muse when designing, whenever I publish, then hover over on the active page menu button.. the styling switches to a white font with a white bg. I need the white bg but the font color is supposed to be black.. like I have set it inside Muse.
Here's what I mean clickhere
Each page's own menu item on (hover state) goes to white on white. Here's also a screen of my Muse 'states' clickhere so you know I have it correct.

In HTML, whenever a link is in active state, no other states work on it. Here in your case, the link is on the Menu item (Button) and not on the text inside that button.
Which is why, the colour of text changes but the colour of the Button does not change when it is in Active state.
I would here suggest you here to use some other color combination so that it is displayed properly to the users.

I got an error while activating DSO2 after loading from another DSO1.
DSO1 load and activation was sucessful but while loading from DSO1 to DSO2 load was fine but got error while activating...

is their any similar Function Module in BI 7.0 please advice.

Close out of the mail app, then double tap the home button and completely close out of the app.
Then do a reset, no data loss. Hold down the home/sleep button together until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Then check your email again.

This configuration is not possible. You cannot mix classic replication (CREATE REPLICATION) with active/standby pair replication (CREATE ACTIVE STANDBY PAIR). They are mutually exclusive.

If it isn't responding to any of those steps it might prove difficult to extract data from the phone.
So again your best bet may be the Apple Store, they would be able to help retrieve it I expect.

Question in switching for STP and loop

i have a question in loop issue , will it occur in this case or not

now i have 4 switches connected with full mesh.

3 of them has stp protocol enabled
only 1 of them is un manged and dont support STP protocol

the question is :
if i connected the 4 switches full mesh , will the loop occurs ??
as i believe , stp loop prevention depend on the switch itself not on their neighbour , but not sure from my understanding

If there's only one or two non-STP switches, in a full mesh, you'll be okay. Once you have at least three non-STP switches, in a full mesh, you have a loop between them.

How to switch booleans whithin a loop to 0 when stop is hit

I am trying to write a program than can send digital signal to an external oscilloscope. I am using NI-USB-6008. The program runs but when I hit "STOP" button (while the On/Off signal's boolean switch is on) the oscilloscope still shows an ON signal.
The problem: How to switch the boolean to Off immediately when I press STOP?
I tried using "Clear Task" and "joining the STOP button with the boolean switch but nothing change. Please find attached my program.

Thanks for using our discussion forums. How you connect your limit switches depends on what type of motion board you are using. For example, if you look at the connection diagram for a PCI-7344, you can see that Forward Limit switches connect to pins 39, 45, 51, and 57. These will then pin out directly to the UMI. For the connection diagram for your particular motion control board, you can go to www.ni.com/manuals and pull up the necessary information. In regards to reading this in LabVIEW, the first thing you will want to check out is Measurement and Automation Explorer. In the interactive windows for your board, you can check the limit switch status there- Press your limit switch on and off and make sure that it changes the LED in MAX. Once that i
s all set, then you can go into LabVIEW and use the "Read Limit Status" VI which you can find in Functions>>All Functions>>NI Measurements>>Motion>>FlexMotion>>Motion I/O palette. Good luck with your application.
