Activation of BPM process DCs in NWDI throws error

Hi experts,
We have a problem with NWDI, when we try to active BPM DCs.
Please see error message below (This is a part of error).
There are some facts around this issue:
1.     We can active every DC within the track except DC of type u201CProcess Composeru201D
2.     We get same error when we try to active different BPM DCs.
3.     All DC in CBS are green except BPM DCs. They are broken.
4.     We can build all DCs inclusive BPM in NWDS without any problems
5.     Building of BPM DCs on CBS is not possible. We get same error.
Please help!
Tanks!

Hello,
we have got the solution.
The problem is IBM StAX-Parser. You should install SAP Parser on NWDI.
See SAP note:

  • Wait for a message to proceed to the next activity in BPM Process??

    Hi,
    1. After a BPM process is initiated, is it possible to have a "Wait step" in the process ?...That is, I would like to continue to the next activity in the BPM process ONLY after I have received a certain message...
    We do have a "Wait" step in ccBPM(PI) wherein , we could wait until a certain message is received(based on correlation) and then proceed to the next step....
    Is this possible in BPM ???
    There was a query similar to this in the forum :
    Inter-Process Asynchronous Event
    (or search for "Inter-Process Asynchronous Event "  - Ingo Taraske)
    and a suggestion was provided by David Conil which I didn't quite get...
    Would be great if some one could throw more light on if this is possible in EhP1...Thanks.
    Best Regards
    Arun

    Hi Arun,
    In a nutshell, wait steps are not supported in EhP1. The workaround consists of splitting the process in two processes. In BPMN 1.1, wait steps are modeled using "Intermediate Message Events". The idea is to consider the intermediate message event as start event of the second process. The asynchronous aspect would be covered using PI.

  • BPM process jax-ws callback URL error

    I generated the web service proxy for a BPM process with the callback option. Then I deployed the callback web service in to weblogic 10.3. While invoking the client proxy I am giving the callback url as shown

    I am getting the error for invalidaddressing. Can anyone help me how to solve this error?

    Hi,
    there is a bug in 11.1.1.3 which is fixed in 11.1.1.4. but I found a simple workaround.
    I changed the web service annotation from the callback function for "@Adressing" from "true" to "false". e.g.
    @WebService(targetNamespace="http://xmlns.oracle.com/SOAHelloApp/SOAHelloAsync/SOAHelloAsyncProcess", name="SOAHelloAsyncProcessCallback")
    @XmlSeeAlso(
    { ObjectFactory.class })
    @SOAPBinding(style=Style.DOCUMENT)
    @Addressing(enabled=false, required=false)
    so I still have the wrong wsa:Action, but nobody cares.

  • ADFS Active Authentication SAML token with unicode values throwing error when post to _trust end point in SharePoint

    Hi All,
    I have a SP2013 environment which authenticate users using ADFS 2.0 via Windows AD. We have two separate clients, Portal and Mobile. Portal users Passive Federation where as Mobile client uses Active Authentication with usernamemixed endpoint in ADFS.
    I have an AD property which stores Unicode characters. In Active Authentication via Mobile, for a user who has a Unicode value in the AD property, I can get the SAML token successfully from ADFS.
    Ex : <saml:AttributeValue>español</saml:AttributeValue>
    However, when I post this SAML token to SharePoint _trust endpoint, I'm getting an error "500 Internal Server error". However for the same user, if I change the AD property value from "español" to "English" then I can get the FedAuth
    cookie successfully from the _trust endpoint.
    Also, for the same user, If I logged in via Portal which uses Passive Federation, then it's working fine.
    Really appreciate your thoughts on this.
    Supun

    Hi Supun,
    As you mentioned, the issue only happens in Active authentication. Would you please let me know which mobile client your users are using for the Active authentication, is it a custom one? Please be noted if you use a mobile browser, the authentication will
    also be Passive.
    In Passive mode authentication, STS also uses POST to pass the security token to the relaying party. I'd like to know what kind of tool you are using to post a SAML token to SharePoint endpoint as impersonation of an Active authentication. Since the Active
    authentication flow is quite complex, I also suggest you to check the event log in your ADFS server, and try to find more information about the issue.
    Thanks,
    Reken Liu

  • BPM DCs for NWDI Track

    Hi,
    I am working on CE7.2 on BPM.
    I am customizing SAP MDM DCs using NWDI and using these DCs in BPM process. So I would like to know whether do I need to add any build time BPM DCs to my track? If yes, please let me know the file names to add my track.
    Thanks in advance.
    regards,
    dev

    Thank you John..
    One more question..I have created Service Interface to assign start event to make my process automatic. But I could not able to find the property to assign my serivce to Start event in CE7.2 where as in 7.1 I could see it.
    Please help me on where can I assign my service in CE7.2.
    Appreciate your help on this.
    Thanks,
    dev

  • BPM process interactive activity(JSP) - external webservice method interac

    I am using Oracle BPM studio 10.3.1.0.
    I have one external web service published on glassfish application server, I have introspected it in my BPM process using its WSDL.
    Now one of my BPM process interactive activity is there, which is represented by one JSP, I am giving some input to my JSP.
    I want this input to be passed to the web service method as a parameter, and it should fetch the output, so basically I want to invoke the web service method, could you please guide me how to do it?
    Thanks & Regards
    Ashish

    Hy Ashih
    I dont know if this is best way to do that, but I have a similar situation here, and I'm using AJAX do call the webservice method by BPM and retrieve data.
    Something like this:
    1 - Create the XMLHttpRequest() object in your jsp (if you need I have the entire code)
    2 - Create the a JavaScript method for to call the OBPM method in your component
    function mymethod(arg1, arg2, arg3)
    xmlhttp.onreadystatechange=function()
                                                      if( xmlhttp.readyState==4 )
                                                           document.getElementById("AnyDIV").innerHTML = xmlhttp.responseText;
         var resp = "<f:invokeUrl var='YourComponenteName' methodName='YourMethodName'/>";
    //Incude how many args your need here
         resp+="&arg1=" + arg1;
         resp+="&arg2=" + arg2;
         resp+="&arg3=" + arg3;
         xmlhttp.open("POST",resp,true);
         xmlhttp.send(null);
    3 - You'll need a div html tag called "AnyDIV" to receive the BPM answer
    4 - On you BPM component, in YourMethodName method (needs to be ServerSide = no), create two args, the first is httpRequest type (name request), and the second is httpResponse type (name response) (fuego lib)
    5 - Type the code below in your BPM method to send info back to the JSP
    //getting the args
    String arg1 = request.getParameter(string : "arg1");
    String arg2 = request.getParameter(string : "arg2");
    String arg3     = request.getParameter(string : "arg3");
    //Do the webservice call here, prepare the html answer and put it into an string variable
    strReturn = "bla bla bla";
    //Send the anwser back to the jsp
    response.bodyTextContent(arg1 : strReturn);
    Or you can do this using xml answer and deal with the tags with javascript
    that's it

  • Why does a BPM Process fail at the Start Activity?

    Hello All,
    We're currently working on a Dev environement (WLS 10.3), where we're experiencing issues with BPM Processes that fail at the start node. The error observed is a "Null Pointer Exception" despite there definteily being parameters passed into the process.
    I've observed the trace in the EM after invoking the process and notice that the process fails as soon as it enters the start activity.
    One of the possible explanations could be an out of memory issue. Has anyone experienced this before?
    BPM : SOA Suite 11g.
    Thank you.

    If you have memory - issues, you should look at the Weblogic-logs.

  • Data objects supported in the BPM Process Composer by Activity ?

    Hi,
    In BPMN 2.0 normalization, data objects are artefacts which show the reader which data is required or produced in an activity.
    How is the data objects supported in the BPM Process Composer?
    Thanks,
    Grégoire.

    Select the activity and then select the Data Associations button. You can associate existing data objects and create new ones.

  • Problem in activating DCs in NWDI

    Hello
    I have a problem while activating the DC's in DTR.
    I activated the DC's with forced activation. DC's were activated but for some of the DC's the source code was not migrated from the inactive state to the active state.
    In the repository browser view DC's can be seen in both the inactive and active views. But I cant activate them again since the activity for the DC activation is not available in Activation view.
    Can anyone suggest me what should I do?
    Is there any way I can revert the active DCs back to inactive and then activate again?
    Should I delete the DCs and recreate them?
    Or is there some other way to solve this problem?
    Can anyone please help me out.
    Any help is highly appreciated.
    Regards
    Pankaj

    Hi Sridhar
    Thanks for the reply. I was able to run the application on my system before activating it. It had build errors while activating.
    My prob is that I have done the forceful activation and all the DCs have been moved to the active state. For some of the DCs the source code is missing.
    For eg in Web Dynpro DC , Application and Components and Windows were not migrated. How do i move them now to the active state?
    Is there any way i can revert the activated DCs?
    Regards

  • BPM processes,receiving signals (events) & correlation to existing instance

    Hi,
    BPM 11g/SOA Suite 11g (R1 PS2)
    I am wondering whether it is possible to receive signals (EDN events) into a running process instance. The documentation describes how a process can be started by an event. I would like to be able to feed an event (signal) into a running process (just like we do with correlation in BPEL processes). Is that possible - and if so, how?
    Along the same lines, can BPM processes receive messages through externally exposed WebService operations - into correlated process instances? For example: I have started the process to create a new employee in the organization and I want to inform the process instances taking care of this employee that she will start on a later date than originally assumed (or not at all because she has accepted another job). I know the unique employee id for this new hire. How can I configure the BPM process such that this incoming call after the instance has started is fed into a Receive activity in the process instance working on this employee?
    Maybe a similar is question would be: can a message catch event be used without a corresponding message throw event - to catch incoming messages asynchronously and not related to a message sent by the process instance.
    thanks very much for your insights,
    Lucas

    I also tried DB Adapters and it is not working for my scenario. Needed help/pointers from a BPM Guru \.
    As per my business scenario, If there any update in the database (offline approval. not using worklist) then i should complete the running BPM process for approval.
    1. To achieve this, I created a adapter to poll and it is working in polling. What is not working is picking the update in process and mark is closed/complete.
    2. I tried using Catch Event with continuation mode (but it needs throw event to begin with).
    3. I also tried ‘Receive event’, which also needs start event for continuation.
    4. If i use Initiate mode for catch event then it initiate a new process and mark it close and does not do anything with original process (having this catch event). This catch event is still waiting.
    5. If i use “receive” event with Initiate mode then jdeveloper is giving compilation time error saying that some service is not referenced in composite.
    6. I have also tried other options of using “Sub-process” or another process and invoking it but nothing seems to work.
    Any help/pointers? Thanks a lot.

  • How to catch and handle soap foult in a BPM process?

    Hi,

    Hi fifty,
    Did you get a solution to the above problem you have mentioned? I have a similar issue i am trying to fix.
    I have a webservice call in a process activity and if the call does not work i get a soap fault and the fuego.lang.ComponentExecutionException . My process requires that i catch the exception infact any kind of exceptions that occur on that call and perform another activity in the process.
    I have defined an exception handler at the activity level for java.lang.Exception and java.lang.RunTimeException.
    i don't see anything in the catalog which would handle the SOAP fault OR the componentexception.

    what i noticed here is in Oracle BPM Studio there is weblogic jar file which contains Kernel status file. The KernelStatus file do not have "isThinIIOPClient method". But in wlclient jar file there is Kernel status class which contains "isThinIIOPClient" method.
    How can I override the weblogic.jar and wlclient.jar for Oracle BPM?
    Please help me to resolve this problem.
    Thanks and Regards

    I resolved the above issue by generating ejb2.1 session bean and ejb2.1 client. But When i tried to invoke ejb2.1 session bean from process using Process Business Language, it throws the following exception.
    Task failed.
    Caused by: Task '0' in activity '/SampleOrderProcess#Default-1.0/Interactive[SubmitOrder]' for instance '/SampleOrderProcess#Default-1.0/1/0' could not be successfully executed. The task failed while executing method 'submitOrder'.
    Caused by: The method 'CIL_submitOrder' from class 'OrderManagement.SampleOrderProcess.Default_1_0.Instance' could not be successfully executed.
