Active Tax Codes

Dear All,
Please advice in which table we can get the active withholding tax codes.
thanks in advance

hi Finance,
Please check whether u have assigned the GL account or not.  Go to tcode FTXP and enter the country and select the Tax code and then  double click on it and give the GL account
Tax is captured from the tax procedure by use of proper tax code or condition records.
Please check for tax procedure assignment for the country for which your plant belongs. (IMG>Financial Accounting (New)>Financial Accounting Basic Settings (New)>Tax on Sales/Purchases>Basic Settings-->Assign Country to Calculation Procedure)
please ensure the respective tax procedure TAXINN or TAXINJ. (Please ensure tax procedure is created in your system).
After assingment of tax procedure to the country, you need to create the tax codes for the country using transaction FTXP
T code : OBBG to check the tax procedure assigned to your country
T code : OBYZ select a procedure or create(copy any) tax procedure and assign to your country in OBBG

    Hi
We have fund management configured for one of the company code, while creating billing document through VF01/VF02 we are  getting the Error FF753 Tax code 01 not appear in any G/L account item.
This error however does not appear when posting directly from FI with the same tax code.

    Hi:
If you could please refer to the contents of  OSS Note 112609 - How are tax codes transferred to conditions ?
    "Symptom
If a billing document is transferred to accounting the system displays error messages. Transferring tax codes from tax conditions into the pricing conditions and discounts does not function as expected.
    Other terms
    FF805, FF747, FF753, MWSKZ, MWSK1, tax code
    Reason and Prerequisites
The tax condition in the SD pricing procedure contains incorrect reference steps, there are several tax conditions in the pricing procedure of which the tax codes overwrite each other or a program error exists.
    Solution
In the accounting document for a billing document, the different G/L account line items are provided with a tax code. The tax code of the G/L accounts is transferred from the tax condition(s) of the billing document. How are the tax codes of the tax conditions transferred into the other conditions of a billing document ?
    Basically:
The conditions of a billing document are read from top to bottom. As soon as an active tax (inactive = ' ') is read, the system transfers the tax code of this tax into the non-tax conditions as follows:
        1. The reference steps (From-step, To-step) are read (the reference steps are defined in the pricing procedure).
        2. The tax code is transferred into all conditions, for which
the step number of the condition lies in the pricing procedure between "From-step" and "To-step",
the condition is not inactive (exactly: the inactive flag is not equal to A (Condition exclusion), M (Inactive due to manual entry), or X (Incorrect)),
the condition is not statistical (if it is no invoice list condition),
the condition is no tax condition.
After the transfer of the tax code the system searches for the next active tax. If further taxes are found, their tax code is again transferred according to the above procedure. If the reference steps of different taxes overlap, tax codes that have already been transferred are overwritten. To all non-tax conditions which in the pricing procedure stand after the last tax condition the tax code of the last active tax condition is transferred if they are not statistical.
    Special features:
        1. If the "From-step" of a tax condition refers to a subtotal of the pricing procedure, the tax code of the tax is not only transferred into the conditions with step number between From-step and To-step but into all non-tax conditions for which
the step number of the condition in the pricing procedure is lower than the "To-step" of the tax condition.
the condition is not statistical (if it is no invoice list condition).
the condition is not a tax condition.
        2. If the "To-step" of the tax condition is smaller than the "From-step", then the system sets "To-step = From-step".
    Notes:
        1. As of Release 4.0 the tax code is no longer transferred in pricing but only when the billing document is released to accounting.
        2. If you use several taxes and tax codes and Customizing is incorrect for the release of billing documents to accounting, among others the system may display error message FF747.
        3. If there are several taxes in the pricing procedure refer to Notes 72173 and 82091 for Releases 3.0D - 3.1G. For Release 3.1H, only note 82091 is relevant.
        4. For conditions which are transferred into accounting (thus not statistical, not inactive conditions) and do not contain a tax code, the system searches for a default tax code which in Accounting Customizing can be set depending on the company code (tax code for non-taxable transactions). This applies to releases up to and including Release 4.5B. For Release 4.6, refer to Note 385127."

  • Tax Code field in Cash journal

    Dear All,
Can Tax Code field be activated in Cash Journal . If yes how? Useful answers will be rewarded with points.

    Milind Nair

    Hi
Goto FBCJ, it will have two segments, one is the header data and other is the line item data.
In the Line item segment where you enter the line item details, go to the right hand side corner of the Table. You will see a small icon with colours. This icon is present at the Top right hand corner of the line item entry table in FBCJ.
Click on this ICON, this is the administrator icon. Then click on administrator, then you can see list of field names, there will be a check box called invisible. For the fields TAx code and juristiction it will be marked as invisibel. remove this tick and activate and save the parameter.
Afterwards you will get the required fields in FBCJ.
If you have problem when you click on the icon, then it is a authorisation problem so contact your Basis resourse for necessary action then do the changes as required.
    Cheers

  • GOA distribution to R3 - Tax Code for ERS vendors

    Hi all,
Having an issue with GOA distribution to R3 for evaluated receipt settlement vendors. For ERS vendors, tax code is a required field. There is not a tax code field in the GOA and this is not being passed in any iDoc segment I can find. My current tax configuration is calculate tax in backend, i have maintained tax codes I0.U1, I1 with U1 set as default. As shopping carts are transferred from R3 they are assigned U1 as expected and PO's generated in the BE from these external requirements are getting the U1 as expected. The problem is with contracts and scheduling agreements. Everything is fine unless the vendor has the ERS indicator set. Tax code becomes a required field.
Has anyone else experienced this? I've' researched SDN and everything talks about shopping carts and PO's, which is working for us.  I cant find any info on the contract distribution. I've investigated the BADI's associated with tax calculation in SRM but I'm not sure these meet the requirement for ERS vendors.
Am I missing configuration? Is one of the tax badi's the way to go? Any information is appreciated.

  • Error : Tax statement item missing for tax code

    Hello Gurus,
I have issue while releasing a billing document to accounting from VF02. The error says 'Tax statement item missing for tax code AA'
    Any idea??
    Prase

    Dear Prasanth,
Please review note 112609 and 400766 carefully, which explain the
    tax rules.
The FF805 error is most likely triggered due to configuration in
    the pricing procedure.
If an active tax condition record is found (for example on UTXJ), even
though it is statistical, the tax code (linked to the record) is then
distributed to the active price conditions for that item pricing.
When it passes to FI, the active tax condition is passed but not
the price because an active price condition cannot be found.
In the SD-FI interface, for every price condition sent over,
there MUST be a tax condition sent over, hence the FF805.
I think may be what is happening in your case.
If after setting reference steps in your procedure according to the
guidelines in 112609, you still encounter the FF805, please let me know.
Hope this is helpful. Thank you.

  • G/L account item without tax code in document with deferred taxes

    Hi ,
While releasing the billing document to accounting i get this error " G/L account item without tax code in document with deferred taxes". Not able to release it to accounts. What could be the possible reason??
Actually, this error is occuring only when i am using a Discount Condition (Z Condition).
Please guide what could be the problem in the Discount Condition?
    Thanks and Best Regards

whats this Z condition type. Is it  a tax condition type. If yes , please check the tax code assigned to this in the condition type defintion (VK12) and in FTXP check if this code is assigned with Account key.
Also in the pricing procedure, if this condition is Active (not statistical) whats the account key assigned to it. Then check  whats the GL Account assigned to this Account key (VKOA).
Then in FS03 , check this GL account number and under "Control Data" whats the Tax category maintained. You can have a * for the tax category here.
    Hope this helps

  • Tax statement item missing for tax code O0

    Hi all,
i am getting an error message while releasing SD billing documents to Accounting. the complete error message is
    NA FF805
    Text:
Tax statement item missing for tax code O0
    Diagnosis:
No tax item exists for tax code O0 in a G/L account item. A possible cause is an incorrect transfer of parameters by the application to the Accounting interface.
    Procedure:
    Enter an OSS message.
It would be great help if some one reply back with what should i do..
We are on R/3 4.7 enterprise
    Thanks in Advance
    Sivaram

    HI Sivaram,
Please review note 112609 and 400766 carefully, which explain the tax rules.
The FF805 error is most likely triggered due to configuration in the pricing  procedure.
If an active tax condition record is found (for example on UTXJ), even though it is statistical, the tax code (linked to the record) is then distributed to the active price conditions for that item pricing.
When it passes to FI, the active tax condition is passed but not the price because an active price condition cannot be found. In the SD-FI interface, for every price condition sent over, there MUST be a tax condition sent over, hence the FF805.
I think this may be what is happening in your case.
Normally it would not be advised to bypass the check in FI_TAX_SV_BSEG_BSET_GROSS - please note that when passing from SD to FI:
-> There must be at least a revenue line for each tax line.
-> For each revenue line containing a certain tax indicator there must be a tax line with this indicator.
-> If a tax condition has base value = 0  OR is inactivated OR is statistical => then it is not passed to FI.
I hope this information will help you to solve your issue. If it resolves your issue, kindly confirm this message at your earliest convenience. Otherwise, please give me feedback for further analysis.
Please assign points if it useful.

  • FF805 Error tax statement item missing for tax code

I am getting the above error when am trying to release an invoice to accounting in VF02. We are using a pricing procedure that contains US tax conditions and Europe tax conditions and the European condition has got determined according to the access sequence and condition records maintained. The tax code shows up correctly in the sales order and the billing document. The FTXP configuration is also in place. Does anyone have any idea about how to fix this. Any guidance or help on this greatly appreciated.
    Thanks
    Bharathi

    Hello Bharathi,
If the problem happens in the invoice relevant for US, please notice:
For 'US' the tax jurisdiction functionality is activated and as a result
the FI tax side has special requirements for SD invoices that will be
    posted to FI.
Please check if the used pricing procedure is customized as a tax
jurisdiction procedure (compare the standard RVAAUS).
At least one tax condition has to be transferred with condition
type (KNTYP) = '1'. That is a prerequisite for the filling of the
deepest tax level (BSET-TXJDP) for the tax jurisdiction functionality.
That is missing for the invoice and as the deepest level for the
tax jurisdiction is missing, the error FF 805 will be issued.
Please also refer to the SAP notes which might be helpful:
other attached notes which should guide you:
441456     Tax Shipments between the US and Canada using juris
419124     Export billing document with tax jurisdictions
380158     Jurisdiction code for export business transaction
In the vast majority of cases, error FF805 occurs because of an error
in your pricing procedure. The previously attached note 112609 explains
in detail how tax codes are transfered to conditions.
The note 400766 explains the checks performed by the system on the Tax
    codes:
    1. system checks whether there is a revenue line for each tax line.
    2. in the reverse case, for each revenue line containing a certain
tax indicator there must be a tax line with this indicator.
If the tax condition has condition value zero and condition base
value zero, then it is not transferred to FI.
If you have revenue lines containing a tax indicator XX, but no
tax line with tax indicator XX, then the error FF805 issues, and
it is justified. => Please check these informations. I have attached
    notes for further information.
    -> EXAMPLE
If tax condition MWST has base amount zero and value zero; for this
reason it is not passed to accounting. But, according to the
criteria reported by note 112609, its tax indicator EG: A7
has been assigned to the condition EG: ZBR1.
So in accounting there would be a revenue line with tax indicator A7,
but there isn't any tax line with indicator A7 (because MWST doesn't
pass to FI). The note 400766 states situation is unallowed, and error
       FF805 is justified.
Please review this information as hope it will help solve your issue.
    Best regards,
    Alex

  • Configuration of Tax code under Tax Jurisdiction for Canada

    Hello All,
We need to create new tax code for Canada & use Jurisdiction code.
We have created a new jurisdiction code.
Now, at the time of creation of tax code, it is observed that some line is active whereas some line is deactive.
Question:- is there any setting wherein we can define a tax line item as to active or deactive for a given tax procedure?
    Thanking you in anticipitation
    Regards
    Santsoh

    Hi,
In FTXP, the tax line will be active only when you enter some rate in it, even 0 % rate.
However you can manually deactivate the tax line in FTXP.

  • MM-SUS: SUS invoice creation without default tax code and no tax amount

    Hello All:
When i create SUS invoice based on accepted GR(GR is transfered form MM per program RPODDELVRY and my system has implemented note#1351489) , the SUS invoice tax code in item is default from SUS customizing, but not from MM-PO item tax code.  On the other hand, the tax amount is always zero even if  i change the tax code and press "update price".
So then i press "send" to transfer SUS invoice to MM, system jump following 2 error messages:
    Errors:Error in parameter transfer ( Item 1 )
Errors:Active status of document SUS Invoice 5000000035 is Incomplete . No changes are possible.
My SRM Server release 701, and business scenario is MM-SUS
In MM: customizing OBCA/OBCD/OMRY  is completed
In SUS:customziing SRM server -> cross application basic settings -> tax calculation is completed.

    Hello ALL,
I am also facing same problem, although on different version SRM 7.0 SAPKIBKV06
We are having issues as stated below....
    1) Tax code in PO line item should be defaulted while processing SUS Invoice.
As per the current behaviour SUS invoice tax code in item is defaulted from SUS customizing, but not from MM-PO item tax code.
    2) In SUS Invoice the tax value is not getting populated even though the setting in IMG is R/3 tax calculation occurs in backend and for this all relevanat attributes related to purchasing org. BUK and ACS are maintained under PPOMA.
    3) Finally when I try to post the invoice in SUS system get the below error message
Errors: Error in parameter transfer ( Item 1 )
Errors: Active status of document SUS Invoice 5000000XXX is Incomplete . No changes are possible.
All the relevant config is maintained
    In MM: customizing OBCA/OBCD/OMRY  maintained
In SUS:customziing SRM server -> cross application basic settings -> tax calculation maintained.
    Appreciate your quick reply,

  • Tax code with more than one tax rate

    Hi,
I am using TAXINN procedure and I created on tax codes with more than one rate. i.e. for service tax I created  a tax code S1 with 3 rates as follows
Acc. Key    Tax %      condition type
    VS9            12             JSE4
    VS0              2             JES4
    VSS              1             JHS4
When I am trying to post a document with the above tax code the system is giving the following error message
Tax code S1 may only contain one assignment line
    Message no. FF731
    Diagnosis
For direct postings to tax accounts, only tax codes containing exactly one tax line may be used. Tax codes with several rates or a nondeductible portion are not allowed here.
    Procedure
    Use a different tax code.
For direct postings to a tax account, you might have to define a separate tax code for which only one line with a percentage rate other than zero is active in percentage rate maintenance. All other lines must be inactive.
To do this, choose Maintain entries (F5).
Could you please let me know how to rectify this problem? I want to post 3 line items for each of base rate, Edu. Cess and Higher Edu.cess.

    thanks

    Hi,
Error message FF805 is usually due to configuration issues.
Tax conditions, especially the main ones UTXJ or MWST can not have a condition base value that is 0. If you are using UTXJ, the condition needs to be statistical and 100%. This condition controls how all the remaining tax conditions are calculated; and how the tax codes are determined.
Another cause of the error message is due to the reference steps in the pricing procedure. If the tax condition references a line that is not calculated in your document, the base value is 0 and you get the error. These reference steps also control how the tax codes are distributed. If you have conditions that are active and do not have a tax code, they are not within the reference for the tax condition, and you will get this error message. You must also have an active price for the tax condition to copy to when the billing document is released to accounting.
    Please also checknotes 327373, 400766, 385127..
    Hope this will help.
    Regards,
    Naveen.
