Actual price of revenue in reporting not hitting

Hello
I have done the milestone billing and also created the billing plan in WBS element for the created milestone under the same WBS element as "down payments" and have done the billing for these amount by assigning in sales order by confirming the activity.but in the cost element report for revenue is still showing as planned revenue even after the billing is done and document is generated. even the delivery is also done. Is there any solutions for this
Kindly so the needful
Thanks and Regards
Praveen B M

you need to check two things:
Billing type used in sales order whether it is a proforma invoice
If billing genarates a accounting document, whether Values category 5A has been assigned

  • Report not hitting pre seed cahe created using iBot by Admin

    Hi,
We created an iBot to pre seed the cache using Administrator and it is creating the cache but when normal user run this particular report for the 1st time it's not hitting the cache(created using iBot). all the subsequest users request hitting the cache created by normal user. I still dont understand why it is not hitting the cache.
Did anyone comeacross this issue before?
what are the reasons not hitting cache with above scenario??
does cache created by administrator using ibot work for other users? we actually running whole query with no filters on it using admin and normal users run the same report with some filters on it. as per oracle cache strategy it should work but it's not.
    any help appreciated.
    Thanks
    Jay.

    Hi Jay,
    I have given some inputs.
The way the OBIEE server creates the SQL (both logical and physical) for a request can be a bit funky sometimes, the cache seeding only really works in fairly simple cases. Does your request have a pivot table in it by any chance? These are notorious for not caching properly, if you look at the log for the request you can see why as the server adds this strange "aggregate by" to the request (why this can't be done at the presentation level since the only change you are asling for is in the presentation of the content is beyond me). Those "aggregate by"s tend to stop a request being a cache hit unless it is identical to the one that seeded that cache, any change in parameters, columns etc (even if a logical subset) will not get a cache hit.
    2. "Oracle BI Server Cache" Cache Seeding option present in Destination tab of Delivers -- Please check this option.
    3. Caching is one of the many approaches to improve performance but it's not a magic solution. You need to understand that you can't cache everything. In particular you won't be able to cache reports that are driven by parameters and have facts that are too granular and exceed the number of rows each cache entry can have. If your fact is of a small size then you can get around the parameters issue by caching a report without any filters. The BI Server should able to derive subsequent queries as long as they meet the cache hit criteria. Have a look at the administration manual for all the rules a cache hit must meet.
    Hope it helps.

  • Report not hitting pre seed cache

I have 40 reports which i am caching using i bots in a dashboard. The cache works good for the first 10 min which ever user logs in.After this times it is not hitting the cache and new cache entries are found in the cache files.I tried modifying the Instance config file adding the following parameters.Still i find the same issue.
Is there any other parameters that i need to set which is causing this problem?
    <ServerInstance>
    <Cache>
    <Query>
    <MaxEntries>100</MaxEntries>
    <MaxExpireMinutes>60</MaxExpireMinutes>
    <MinExpireMinutes>10</MinExpireMinutes>
    <MinUserExpireMinutes>10</MinUserExpireMinutes>
    </Query>
    </Cache>
    <ServerInstance>

Only thing I can think of is temp files running out of space? ( 'nQS_xxxx_x_xxxxxx.TMP' files which are stored by default in the \Temp folder stores the presentation server cache informatoin. )

  • Oracle BI Reports not hitting table partition

    Hi,
I have Fact Table 'F1' which is joined with Dim Table 'D1' on F1.Date1 = D1.Date1 Column. On Fact Table 'F1', we have partition on column "F1.Date1"
    Partiton_Name Range
    Jan10 - 01-Jan-2010 to 31-Jan-2010
    Feb10 - 01-Feb-2010 to 28-Feb-2010
    In Dim Table 'D1', I have Column "Month_Year" as well i.e., Month_Year ("Jan-2010", "Feb-2010").
Chart shows you data for multiple months (i.e., Jan-2010 - 1000000, Feb-2010 - 1500000) and I have navigate on column "Month_Year" to another report.
when i click on column "Month_Year" value i.e., Jan-2010 from report1 - Value "Jan-2010" goes a filter in another report (since i have given IS PROMPTED on second report).
Since I have partitioned on Column F1.Date, it goes for full scan (hitting all partitions exits in table 'F1'), I want to hit only 1 partion.
    Please suggest.
Let me know in case of any clarification required. Thanks

I agree with your idea that partitioning for 40K rows (with the information you provided) seems excessive. Doing the math 40K rows * 218 partitions should come out to be only around 8M, which I would not immediately consider a candidate for partitioning.
There are benefits to partitioning that you're aware of; most of these involve the use of large data sets. Pruning is a huge benefit by excluding vast amounts of unwanted data from join consideration.
There are downsides too, mostly buried under the volume of data that partitions usually work with. There is a slight performance hit on standard queries against a partitioned table while SQL decides which partitions to hit. You can observe this by querying from the table, then by a specific partition when only trying to get data from a specific partition.
There is also the issue of how many partitions do you want to keep track of? You are asking good questions.
Its possible that the partitions are helping performance; the only way to make sure is to create a non-partitioned table using CTAS, index and constraint it like the partitioned table, and run some performance tests.

  • Error the actual price could not be determined while executing CKMLCP

    Hi!
we are facing the problem while executing CMLCP, the error message is "The actual price for 10VN000012/MHR could not be determined" ( error message number CKMLLA102).
    Our scenarios is as below:
we have 4 activity types out of which activity type "MHR" are used only for Indirect activity allocaiton tracing factor that means all service costs from service cost centres will be distributed to production cost centres in the ratio of actual quantity confirmed for MHR activity type.
for this activity type we will not have any actual cost distribution, so there will not be any actual cost for this activity type.
So, as actual quantity is confirmed during production process and while executing CMLCP is expecting actual price for the same ( we are executing KSII for actual activity price calculation before costing run).  is there any enhancement to avoid this error, because our client don't want to allocate cost to this activity type.
    regs,
    ramesh

    Hi Ramesh,
Message CKMLLA102 is standard system behaviour when the actual
price of an activity is zero because cost center accounting does not
allow actual prices to be zero.
Unfortunately the system can't distinguish an actual activity price
of zero from a not yet calculated activity price, so for activities
with actual price zero the message CKMLLA 102 is sent.
Have you check the SAP note 361379?. It provides you some options to overcome
    the issue.
    Best regards,

  • Cost Center Report : Revaluation at actual prices - credit but positive sign

    Hi Experts,
    Great day!
I just want to know the cause of the following unsual behavior of the system. The credit part of the cost center report is blank/zero and when  you double-click the actual line items, it shows that the revaluation at actual prices are positive sign. By clicking an item further, the report will direct me to the CO document to investigate what happened. I found out that the sender - Activity revaluates the price for the receiver - Production Order.
I looked at the details of the sender - Activity and I found out that the debit/credit indicator is "C" but the sign is positive.
Your immediate help will be rewarded.
    Thank you!
    Here's the cost center report:
I am expecting the credit part to have a value right after I executed the "Actual Cost Splitting" at T-code: KSS2
    Here's the unsual behavior:
Dr/Cr indicator is "C' but the value at Controlling Area Currency is in a positive sign.
    Again, thank you!

    Hi Dryan
Revaluations are posted to CC after you do CON2 and not KSS2
    1. Did you do CON2 and revaluate the Prod orders with actual activity price?
    2. Ensure that revaluation is allowed in Plan Version 0 for FY 2014
    3. Also, check your activity price calculated in KSII... Revalaution is a result of the actual activity Price (x) Activity Hrs confirmed in Prod order
    4. Check the hrs confirmed in the Production order.. They should be +ve as well

  • Costs in Cost Center are not zero after Revaluation at Actual Prices

    I executed:
    1. KSS2 - Splitting  (I use a Cost Center ABC and all Cost Elements in the configuration)
    2. KSII - Price Calculation
    3. CON2 - Collective Processing
    4. I see the report KSB1 of the Cost Center ABC, but Costs are not zero after revaluation.  For example
    Cost Element 61:                        $   1000
    Cost Element 62:                        $   2000
    Activity Allocation  98:               $ -2800
    Revaluation at actual price 98:  $ -100
    TOTAL:                                      $ 100
    Total must be $ 0.00
We work with thousands of product orders in a month.  Is it possible that the problem was for rounding?
Thanks in advance for your help.
    José Luis

    Hi Ajay,
I checked OKEQ configuration, it's equal that you mentioned.
I have seen that Revaluation registers are using other Exchange Rate.  In OB08 Exchange Rate P is 2.80 ( 1 USD --> 2.80 PEN)
How ever those revaluation registers are using ERate of 2.14 (1 USD --> 2.14 PEN)
Why revaluation registers use other Exchange Rate?  Is this the problem that Cost Center is not zero?
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Not able to view actual Price updated 'Value' in Change Tracker

I was able to get my Change tracker to work and it is functioning. (SRM 5.0 MDM5.5 )... Configured Portal iViews for change tracker.
If I change a description I can see it in the change tracker application. But if I try and track a Price change it only shows me a date-time  and user as to I when the price was changed it doesnu2019t show me the actual value changed, for my audit purposes.
On the portal the change tracker "Field" dropdown shows -> Price Updated. this is what is tracking any change of price.
In MDM Console-> Admin->Change Tracker I am tracking under Catalog Items: Price information, Price Updated, Special search terms, long description.
When I look at the Data manager in the Record Detail, I see  u2018Price Updatedu2019 and it only has a Date and time stamp. In this same Record Detail,  I see the field Price Information that contains :Lower bound, Purchasing Info record ID, Purchasing Organization, Amount and Currency.  Amount-> contains the actual price value. This is what i want to see in the portal iView as Old value and New value....this is what I am unable to view? theres one small step i am not doing...
I am trying to track the actual change in the filed u2018Amountu2019u2026 I have tried to search for it in the Portal iView fields (table, record contains, fields, record)
    cheers
    alex

    Hi Alex,
I would not here comment on change Tracking functionality but can you suggest another workaround to achieve this requirement. If it fits in your requirement you can go ahead with it.
In MDM, Create another field in Main table say Initial Price and for already existing field Amount replace its name with Updated Price in Qualified table Price.
now after this you will see that your by default Updated Price has values as it was your Amount field earlier and Initial Price field as empty. Now for next time, if any record comes using Import Manager then MDM workflow should trigger at Record Import.
    This workflow contains following steps.
    Start(Checkout)>Assign>Stop(CheckIn)
Assign step should have below expression and assignment:
    Price Information.Updated Price
Where I am assuming Price Information is the field in main table which is look up to this qualified table Price.
So in this way you can maintain both existing and updated values of Price and cant then show in your Catalog.
suppose you have already existing record say 1 which has value of Amount as 20.
So that means you have Updated Price as 20 and Initial Price as empty(Null)
Now when same record 1 updates with new Amount say 40, it triggers this workflow on record import which will then assign value of existing updated Price 20 to Initial Field after that Updated Price will update by 40.
Note: This Assignment works well only if your main table record has this Qualified table link as single record. If your main table record contains more than one qualified links then this Assignment would not work fine. So use only if it fits.

  • PO - Actual price report

    Hello
Do we have any standard report which gives PO actual (Gross + Freight + any else....) price?
This also should include statistical condition amount?
    Thanks

In PO -- Line item -- Condition tab, the value appears on the 'Actual Price' or Effective Price field which is same in EKPO - EFFWR.
Is there any standard report which prints PO number and relevant EFFWR value?

  • Stock report using actual price

    HI ALL
We want to have a report which is similar to J3RFLVMOBVED (  Stock on Start、Goods receipt、 Goods issue、Stock on End )
But the value is using standard price.
We already activated material ledger which will calculate actual price and update to periodic unit price field.
Is there any standard report similar to J3RFLVMOBVED but using actual price ?
    Thanks a lot

    HI
I guess the problem might be lying with the way you
are handling the date or period.
      Can you post your code???

okay I've done everything regarding the transfer process (via file>transfer purchases) and syncing, so everything on my iPhone device seems to have been transferred to my iMac... however, I still get that message ("There are purchased items on the iPhone..."), trying to upgrade the iOS Have tried several times the same process of hitting transfer purchases via file, but nothing seems to make that message go away! Would have been nice to know which files I actually do need to transfer, which I don't get any info on of course...
Starting to get really annoying this thing.. Any smart suggestions what's going on?

    Hi Rajesh,
Down payments or advances against WBS Elements are financial postings....so actually they are not posting against WBS's.
Down payments or advances are not related with budget/availability control.
