Actual spend and Current Budget

Hi all,
I have a requirement to show the Actual spend for all fiscal year periods seperately and Current Budget for all fiscal year separetly in the same report. Like in the column
....April 2009.. May 2009...... June 2009 .... ...........April 2009 ........May 2009 .....June 2009 ......
Actualspend. Actualspend ..Actualspend.............CurrentBudget.. Crnt Budget ..Crent Budget...
Any idea?

Try this, drag the KF Actual Spend and Current Budget into Columns and then drag the Fiscal Year Period into Columns and place above the KF Structure.
But the output would be as follows:
April 2009                               May 2009
Actual Spend Current Budget   Actual Spend Current Budget........

    I need a Project Accounting Report that shows Original and Current budget together with PTD,ITD,MTD and YTD labor amount, labor cost, non-labor cost, and revenue on the same line for all the task_id for a project. I know these are coming from these ,PA_BUDGET_VERSIONS V, PA_RESOURCE_ASSIGNMENTS A,PA_BUDGET_LINES L, main tables. But I am unable to break down the amounts according to PA and GL periods. Can anyone help please?

    Do you think we all have your version of a table named PA_RESOURCE_ASSIGNMENTS on our hard disks?
    Perhaps you have some version of e-Business Suite. Perhaps you have SAP. Perhaps you have something we've never even heard of.

    I need help. I have ADE on 4 devices and currently over 2000 books. How do I sync all the devices so I don't spend all my time doing this manually. I have had ADE before, on my Palm, but it crashed and ADE didn't have a mobile app at the time, so I gave up on it.  I discovered that Amazon had removed books from my Kindle library because they were, they say, no longer available, but I bought them, they were mine and I consider their removal as theft. I decided to get a Kobo and discovered that it's primary format is ePUB, si I re-activated my Digital Editions. But, in order for me to keep using it and having my ebooks handy when I want to read them, no matter where I am or what device I have available, I need to be able to put things on one device and have them sync to all the others.  How do I do this? Does anyone know? All help and suggestions gratefully recieved.

  • Show actual values before current month and forecast values after

    This is a tricky one (but I guess it will be easy for you clever guys out there), so my apologies for the heading.

    I need to build a report in BEx (BW3.5) that does the following:
    I will get actual values and forecast values for a year, grouped per period.
    But in the report, I don't want to display the actual and forecast values of every period.
    I want to display the actual values for the past, and the forecast values for the future.
    So, if we are now in period 6 (which is June) all the actual values must be displayed for Jan, Feb, Apr and May.
    But from June onwards to December, only the forecast must be displayed for each month.
    Is this possible?

    Edit: This might help. The actual value is based on KF 0AMOUNT, where value type = 10. The forecast is based on the same KF, value type = 20, version = F2

    No need to write any code for this one.
    Have done couple of forecast reports using following logic.
    Hope historical data getting from R/3 & Forecast values from APO.
    these are seperate 2 keyfigures.
    1.created restricted key figure (keyfigure1) for historical values & drag drop time characterstic with off set till date (means offset -6 to 0)
    2.created restricted key figure (keyfigure2) for forecast values & drag drop time characterstic with off set till date (means offset +1 to +6).
    create calculated keyfigure Add up above(keyfigure1+keyfigure2) two restricted keyfigure.

  • Funds Management - Current budget Vs Consumable budget

    Hello -
    I have posted a budget entry document with budget category 'payment' and posted few commitments and actuals , when I run the Budget Consumption oveview report - budget amounts  are shown under the column ' Current Budget' not under consumable budget and nothing is shouwn under consumed budget as well. Where as I have posted an entry document for budget category ' Commitment' earlier, thats being shown under consumable budget and all budget consumptions are recorded. Both the entries are made with one document type which is assigned to 'automatics release'. I am using update profile 102 - PB , inv, posting date. What is that i am missing ?

    I suppose that you are using BCS, if not, kindly let me know.
    Can you please inform your EA-PS package? In addtion, can you please confirm if the report that you are using is transaction FMRP_RW_BUDCON? If you are using this one the value columns of this report are the following:
    Consumable Budget =  from availability control
    Consumed Budget =  from availability control
    Available Budget = Consumable Budget - Consumed Budget
    Current Budget = from budgeting
    Commitments and Actuals
    Therefore you can check each field with the table values.
    For AVC fields (that check the value from availability control) you should check the value from the report in table FMAVCT.
    Current Budget from your budget transaction or reports.
    Commitment and Actuals from table FMIT.

  • Assigned and Committment Budget Control in AR

    Dear friend,
    Would like to find a solution for a business case for my company.
    AR Credit Control Dept would like to implement a control for all Credit/Debit requisition (currently is through hard copy mannual)by key customer accounts for list of Advertising and Promotion within budget.
    a) Credit/Debit Requisition to be log,
    b) actual Credit/Debit issued to be checked again budget.
    c) able to have flexibility to increase/decrease budget.
    d) there are few programs for each key Customer Account
    e) there are list of product brand to be promoted in each program.
    f) Able to view an any point in time for the assiged, actual and balance budget for each Key Customer Account.
    Consideration :
    i) Currently we had already used IO to denote brand to be promoted but without activating budget control.
    ii) IO may not be suitable as I cannot check for credit/debit requisition raised.
    iii) this proposed module has to be in AR related.
    Please enlighten me which would be the most suitable module to be explore in SAP R/3 4.6C ?

    thanks for your respond. However your may have misunderstood my question... Anyway thanks a lot.
    Basically, my users would like to track some Advertising and Promotion Expenses which currently is done at FI-AR. Promotion Expenses were claim by customers monthly and we wanted to control these claims as there is a capping to it. Very often these claims from customer were exceeded at year end.
    I have done the following proposal :
    a) using IO no, and Budget to monitor the promotion
       claims.
    b) using PR to PO to show the commitment amount before
       actual (=GR) via IO no.
    c) linkaged customer with vendor codes
    d) contra customer with vendor line items
    However, user wanted to list down :
    1)the customer (=vendor) that has allocated with this budget. (how)
    2) able to change budget (IO maintenance)
    3) how to apportion by % for each IO to say 3 brand of
       products. note that i have already activated CO-PA in
       the system & IO is currently used as statically.
    Would appreciate any advise...

    I am new to P6 EPPM and i would like to understand "How Distributed Current Budget value is calcluated".
    Please find the below screen shot which shows the "Distributed current Budget" value is greater than total of Current Budget allocated for the projects.

    Yes, I knew it automatically calculated columns.
    Value of "Distributed Current Budget" while you stand at EPS node level = total of current budget for projects under this node.
    The total of current budget for projects under Engineering & Construction node is not equal to Distributed current Budget in my screen shot.
    Here only i need clarification and please find the screenshot for reference.

  • Can "Actual PPI" and "Effective PPI" be extracted from InDesign?

    A script that I may require, needs to reach inside InDesign and extract the Actual PPI and Effective PPI from certain images, and then process the images in Photoshop. Are those variables available to scripts?

    Update: this applies for javascript, i don't actually know if you in Applescript would use the Open Library function, and then selecting Indesign.?
    With Creative Suite comes a program called Adobe ExtendScript Toolkit (in CS3 and CS4 its ESTK 2).
    Open this program and look under (for CS3) "Help" -> "Adobe Indesign CS3 Object Model" this is the Object Model Viewer, or in short OMV.
    In there you will se all the available objects, methods and so on.
    If f.ex. you will like to know how to get a reference of a image:
    app.activeDocument.pages[0].images[0]; // will give you the first image of page 1 of the currently active document
    In ESTK, click application, now you see all available objects for the app (activeDocument is one of them), click this and you will see that Data-Type is document. Click on the blue link document, now you see what objects are available for a document.

  • 2LIS_04_P_MATNR Delta - Actual Start and Finish Dates

    My company is experiencing a problem with retrieving the actual start and finish dates and times from the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR data source with delta extraction. The R/3 source system is version 4.6C. The BI system is version 7.0. Specifically, the data source fields GETRI, GEUZI (finish), GSTRI, GSUZI (start) are sometimes never populated with data. These fields are often blank in the production data extracted. It was observed that the actual delivery date for the order (posting date of goods receipt from process order) was often an earlier date than the GETRI date. This scenario was tried in test systems, and it was found that if the final goods receipt for the process order was posted before the end of the last phase was confirmed, the actual finish date and time fields were not transferred to BI from R/3. In fact, it was noted that a new record was not created in the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR delta queue when the end of the last phase was confirmed. Regarding the actual start data, this is missing if a goods receipt from the process order is posted before the start of the first phase is confirmed.
    Has anyone else experienced this problem? How was it resolved?
    SAP Notes have been searched regarding this problem, and in fact, a customer message has been opened with SAP for this problem. However, we thought we would try asking the community as well, to see if any other users have experienced this, and how the problem was resolved. We also understand that it may be an unusual practice to post a goods receipt from the process order before the end of the last phase is confirmed. In a more general sense, has anyone else experienced that some of the data source fields are never populated if the R/3 information is entered after the posting of the final goods receipt against the process order? Our testing indicated that no more delta records are created for the 2LIS_04_P_MATNR data source after the final goods receipt was posted.

  • Current budget value is missing

    Dear Colleagues,
    please advise what could be the reason for the following problem.
    Transaction CJ31 (display original budget) shows no value for the field 'current budget' for the current fiscal year, but Project Cost Line Items (CJI4) shows, that the value was planned and cancelled several times, but at least it has line item.
    Besides total for annual values (FY2013 + FY2014) in CJ31 shows the value as FY has budget amount
    e.g.
    CJI4 for WBS for FY2014: 300
    FY2013  Current Budget 100
    FY2014 Current Budget 0
    Total for annual values 400

    Hi,
    One thing, Planned budget will never show in Current Budget column in CJ30/CJ31. Current Budget is different than Planned budget. Current Budget is operative/real budget which can be consumed.
    Current budget consists of the original budget, supplements, returns and transfers. Have you performed these tranx?

    Hi All, I am using the BAPI BAPI_0050_CREATE, which is using giving me the message
    The current budget for budget type CBUD is negative (budget address)
    I want to know how is this message being occured, so that i can do the same check in one of my program.
    I deugged the BAPI and its using the method CL_FMKU_ENTRYDOC_HANDLER->DOC_CHECK_POST, but could not trace the CHECK done for the above error.

    Try to change following customizing temporarily to 160:

         internal transactions->Acquisition from goods receipt                                                                               
    Another alternative could be to TEMPORARILY change the definition  of transaction type group 10 so that it allows negative values.                                                                               
    139899   AA629 when posting MR01/MRHR/MIRO invoice receipt                                                                               
    AA629 is raised when the transactions per transaction type group in one year are negative in balance and the definition of the  transaction type group only allows positive values  (that means TABWG-VZJSAL is '+'). This is the case for transaction           
    type group 10. After posting transaction I recommend to set transaction   group 10 back to its original definition.

    In Production system when go to create current budget using tcode-FR50 for Fund Center and commitment Item system is giving error of "budget exceed " with some amount and not allowing to maintain the budget.
    In fund center hierarchy i have checked fund centers are properly maintained but what is the reason of this error im not understanding.If anybody came across the same kind of error then give solution.

    Hi gurus.
    I need your guidance on how to copy actual data into current forecast period.
    This is my case. Let's say I have the following figures for my actuals:
    January 2007 Actual = $110,000.
    February 2007 Actual = $120,000.
    March 2007 Actual = $80,000.
    April 2007 Actual = $100,000.
    Now, my user want to choose any month as the basis for her forecast for the remaining periods. Let's say, she wanted to choose April 2007 Actual as the basis for the remaining forecast periods, so I should be able to display the following figures in my planning folder:
    May 2007 Forecast = $100,000.
    June 2007 Forecast = $100,000.
    July 2007 Forecast = $100,000.
    August 2007 Forecast = $100,000.
    September 2007 Forecast = $100,000.
    October 2007 Forecast = $100,000.
    November 2007 Forecast = $100,000.
    December 2007 Forecast = $100,000.
    Can someone guide me on how to do that?

    Technical answer:
    First, you need to allow your user to indicate wich month is the reference for the copy. I suggest you to add a new key figure in your actual layout (a 'customizing' layout) that your user will use as a flag:
    January 2007 Actual = $110,000
    January 2007 Flag = 0
    February 2007 Actual = $120,000
    February 2007 Flag = 0
    March 2007 Actual = $80,000
    March 2007 Flag = 0
    April 2007 Actual = $100,000
    April 2007 <b>Flag = 1</b>
    <i>(Help to a fox or an abap exit you can check that only one month is 'flagged')</i>
    Then, in the corresponding level for the data input, you use a function exit in Abap, which will:
    - read the previous customizing layout help to API_SEMBPS_GETDATA so you can get the flagged month and its actual amount ($100,000)
    - generate the news rows into the table XTH_DATA which will be automatically posted in the level with the actual amount
    Is that clear?
