Do not matter to pay for it! It needs to be easy for uploading from within Aperture if possible, easy for the receiver to open the imagefiles, to download them on theit own computer. I do a lot of pictures when travelling with my friens. They ask me for images but it's to difficult to transmit a batch of high definition images. Can you help me out?

A shared Photo Stream usually works very well for what the OP seems to have in mind -- I use several -- but the shared files are not what one would usually call "high definition images". If the reduction is size is not a problem, a shared Photo Stream should be tried.

If you are using an iOS device then no, I don't think that you can gift a song, it will need to be the whole album. If you are using your computer's iTunes, and it's not an album-only track, then you should be able to gift individual songs via the downward pointing arrow next to the song's price.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Garbled Images on the screen, not sure what is going on

Everything was going fine and then I left my computer on overnight and everything was garbled on the screen and couldn't be read. I connected it to an external display, same issue. I took a screen shot and sent to another Mac, and it showed all of the issues. I wish there was a way to post the image, it may help with coming up with a solution. I rebooted, no change. I reformatted and reinstalled 10.4, no change. The strange thing is, is that if I boot from my TechTool disc, everything looks fine. Also, if I boot into safe mode (shift key held down), everything looks fine as well. I am not sure what is going on, and what to do to fix it. Hopefully someone out there can point me in the right direction. I don't want to have to get rid of my iBook. TIA.

I have been slowly working on that 1.33 iBook but I've been busy, vacation and working. I have found suspicious looking solder joints in the area indicated and also on that Danish site. That might be a good idea I might try that with the 1.33 pressure on various chips while trying to boot.
As far as video memory there are two identical chips underneath and toward the video output from the ATI GPU chip. I don't see that they are clearly BGA but there's also no conventional peripheral conventional solder tabs or lands.
Another point, there are 2 huge and a large chip on this board and they're all BGA. The large one being the CPU. So there would also be another 3 points of failure. Any one of these that pressure corrects could be reballed or shim fixed.

When I insert my logo in Dreamweaver, I first need to give it a certain size in Photoshop (if I fix the size in dreamweaver, the logo doesn't get sharp). But I would like logo to have a better resolution when my webpage gets enlarged (for example when reading it in mobiles). I've seen some pictures on webpages that keep their resolution even when you enlarge the webpage. How can you do that?

Murray is correct with his 72ppi, (this is for Macs) and 96 ppi, (this is for windows).
New Apples iDevices do have a screen resolution of 326ppi but not the safari browser for iOS, which still conforms to the macs ppi, (72). It' a similar situation to comparing your system/monitor screen resolution with your browsers screen resolution, you may have a HD screen but the browser still uses the browsers ppi for your system.

In Windows 7, how come my in-line attachment images on email can not be viewed/open in the email?

I have windows 7. Recently, after Moz upgrade, I noticed that emails with in-line attachments are either completely deleted, or only the name of the file in text is shown - not the image itself.
How can I re-set or change my settings to enable in-line attached images from the web (example .cid) be viewed? My plug-ins are all up to date (quick time, java, etc).

Let's try this first. Hold down the Shift key while you try to launch iTunes. You should eventually see the following dialog:
Click "Choose library". Browse to inside the following location (depending on what operating system you're running):

Microsoft Windows Vista

Sorry, but if you're referring to commercial and hence copy-protected video DVDs, breaking the copy protection, which would be necessary to copy the videos from the DVD and convert them, is illegal in the US (and other countries) and hence Apple explicitly forbids such posts, so we're not allowed to discuss it here. Some DVDs and Blu-Ray movies come with a "digital copy" that allows you to download a copy of the movie for use on computers and portable devices. You might see if any of the DVDs you have come with such a feature. Walmart/Vudu also has a service that basically gives you a digital copy of a DVD you already own. See:

If these are home movies that you or someone has burned to DVD and hence are not copy-protected, the aforementioned Handbrake (freeware) is one of the more popular converters. Once converted, you just drag the movie into the iTunes window on your computer and you can then sync it to your iPad.

Images open in RAW no matter what.

When I open an image it opens in raw first. why? when I need to open an image template say from WHCC it won't show the lines (I'm guessing because of the RAW thing). Please help.

Look in PHOTOSHOP PREFERENCES>FILE HANDLING. In the lower half of this panel there are several choices you can make about whether your jpg, tif, or whatever , will open in camera raw automatically, or directly into Photoshop. RAW file will always open ACR, but you can click at bottom of the ACR panel "open" and it will be opened in photoshop .
It is not perfectly clear in the panel, but you can figure it out. Don't forget to save your choices (R upper corner of the panel). These can be changed repeatedly until it works your way.

Try to change your Apple ID back to your old email address (http://appleid.apple.com) in order to set up and activate the phone. After the set up please sign out of iCloud and turn off "Find My iPhone" (Settings > iCloud) - do that on all your devices -, then change your Apple ID to your new address again and then add your iCloud account on you devices again.

In Bridge CS6, the "Tools" tab is missing the "Photoshop" option to batch process image

Does anyone know why in Bridge cs6 under the "Tools" tab, my "Photoshop" option is missing? That is how I have always batch processed images. In Bridge, I choose the images to process, go to the "Tools" tab, down to the "Photoshop" option then to "Image Processor" and process. Now when I go into my "Tools" tab it only has the options: Batch Rename, 4 kinds of Metadata related options and Cache. Can someone tell me why this has happened and how to fix it? Thank you!!!

How big can you create an Image?

I am trying to create a scrollable horizontal tree view using ScrollPane with a child Canvas.
If I draw straight on to the canvas I get that awful flickering. If I create an offscreen Image and draw to it, if the image is bigger than 10000 by 10000 I get an out of memory exception. eg buffImage = this.createImage(10000, 10000);
Is there a way of increasing the JVM memory for IE5 - or is this not the question I should be asking? Should I be asking how do I create big offscreen Images?

No need to increase the offscreen image!
Let the offscreen image be the size of the the ScrollPane.
Then, when painting to the offscreen image, adjust everything you paint for x, and y (leting the top left corner of the image not be the top left corner of the tree, but the top left corner of the viewable part of the tree). And when you scroll you paint your offscreen image to the viewable part of the canvas (not at 0,0 but at some x,y according to current scroll position). You dont need a huge Image for painting on nonviewable parts of the canvas. Even if you could get the resources needed, it would be a waste !

HT1414 When I hit restore a file menu from my computer pops up and I am not sure what file to put in to get my iphone to restore from. I don't get the box that says are you sure you want to restore. So how do I get it to restore so I can see if this fix

I got a "new" iphone from the Apple store when my dog bit the phone and cracked the front. This new phone will not play any music, ie no sound will come out. I can watch videos with sounds but no music from any of my playlists. I checked with Apple and was told to try to restore my iphone. I did all the necessary prep work like backing up and syncing and then hit the restore button on the iTunes page. A file menu icon popped up with a blank in it and I do not know what file I need to put in the window as where it needs to find a file to restore the phone. I never got a message that said are you sure you want to restore the phone. I need some help if anyone knows how to do this or should I just go back to the Apple store (which is over an hour away)? I am syncing my iphone to my iTunes account and then I do a backup and also making sure all updates are current. Then by going to the my phone and then going to the right and selecting the restore my iphone.
