Add-in Problem: Hyperion & Think-Cell issue
Hi,
As anyone experienced issues with Powerpoint and Hyperion Add-in? I have a user that is using Think-Cell (Powerpoint chart add-in). Think-Cell errors out on me every time exept when he removes the Hyperion Add-in from excel and close excel down completely. I do not know if you have heard about this problem, but if you have any guidance or fixes would be greatly appreciated.

a conflict between Oracle Hyperion Smartview for Office and think-cell has occured due to a bug in Smartview (Oracle Bug Number 10327245).

IManage FileSite Add-in problems
Hello,
I work in an office where we have several computers using Microsoft Office 2010 with windows 7 operating system.
Our firm relies on an Outlook add-in called iManage FileSite. The add-in allows a user to search and access documents from our server. However, when opening a Word Document, the program becomes "stacked" underneath the Microsoft Outlook program
icon that is pinned to the taskbar instead of under the Microsoft Word like so:
(unfortunately microsoft is not letting me display pictures)
Through careful observation, we have found that if a blank word document is opened FIRST, the desired document then "zips" into the already opened Word program and is under its own pinned icon on the taskbar.
This problem is NOT occurring in Excel documents, but it does for a host of others:
I would greatly appreciate any insight you might have on alleviating this problem.

Please temporarily disable the add-in to check if this issue continues, so that we can determine if the issue is related to Microsoft Office or the Add-in.
If this issue would be gone when the add-in is disabled, I'd recommend you to contact the Add-in support to check if there's any
incompatibility between the iManage add-in and Microsoft Office. As far as I know, the add-in
incompatibility may cause Outlook to hang. See:

I can't right click anywhere in the browser without the browser freezing for at least 3-5 seconds.
I disabled all the add-ons.
I reset firefox.
issue is still there.Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If the new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

I am having the same problem but cannot get anything but the actual phone to work. I have a unlocked 3GS running 6.0 (what was I thinking?). No data whatsoever, no texting, no visual voicemail. I simply cannot access the APN settings. I have tried sim swap, I have tried APN changers. I have been on the phone with ST tech support for hours and hours. I have tried to get the answers from a "genius". I am stuck and looking at Android devices, but would really like to keep using the iphone with Straight Talk.

How do I add a comment to a cell in Numbers for iCloud beta like I can in Numbers for ios???
I can't be the only person to find it incredibly frustrating that it seems impossible to add a comment to a cell in beta. I use this function a lot on my ipad - is it really not available in beta?? And if not, why not??

Thanks for the question. You are correct, comments are hidden from all iWork apps when imported to iWork for iCloud beta. Please note that the current release of Numbers for iCloud is a beta version. Therefore, certain features aren’t yet supported.

I am using itunes 10 and trying to consolidate my files. I keep getting the error "Copying files failed. The file name was invalid or too long". How can I indentify what file is causing this problem or resolve this issue?

Yes, I just get that message. I don't see how I could investigate this problem.
I didn't mention that this happened when I was consolidating my library, not copying files to another computer.
In other words, I'm using a "normal" itunes procedure, itunes won't complete it, and won't tell me exactly why or how to figure out how to fix it...
Is there at least some easy way to tell which files were successfully copied to my itunes music folder so I can work on moving the uncopied files?

My iPod says "cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found" it also defaults to apple logo when I try to access photos. I think the issues are linked. Any ides?

This problem is only about webforms. We can correctly input data through Data Grids or Client 32.

Calculate add and subtract to same cell?
I have created a table that has numeric fields in them. I am trying to calculate from two fields and generate result in to one cell. for example, first column cell starts with beginning quantity, second column cell is to type number of quantity to remove from the beginning cell and third column to add to the beginning cell. the calculation should be populated in the fourth column cell. I am able to create add calculation script to fourth cell by just adding — Sum(begin1+add1) — but can’t figure out subtract to the same field.

iPhone to Saudi Arabia for repair/replacement. Either take it back
yourself or send to friend/relative for them to take to Apple. Apple
will not accept international shipments for repair nor will Apple

I am having the same problem I think. With mobileme you simply copy documents to the idisk folder and then synch. I cannot seem to sink that folder anymore. Any idea as to how I can simply copy folders to icloud and then access the MS Word and PDF files on my iphone?

Your iDisk is still accessible after moving to iCloud in exactly the same way as before. Nothing is deleted until June 30th 2012.

No, you couldn't. Firstly, nothing was deleted from your iDisk. Secondly, any files stored on your iDisk should never be your only copy. Even if your iDisk spontaneously combusted, you should keep local backups elsewhere.

Yes. Apple doesn't provide such a service anymore, nor are you paying them for it.
Apple has made no effort to suggest remedies for the problem it has given iDisk users
They've provided instructions on how to download your files from your iDisk. What you do with them after that is your choice.
