Instead of looking or changing the BAdI, you can copy the program of CRM_DNO_MONITOR and modify it.

Help!!! error after add new field use EEWB

Hello,
I add a new field through EEWB. The new field is add on Complaints header called Internal Reference.
I use wizard of EEWB to add new field , business object: CRM business transaction, then in the wizard, I choose complaints as the type of the transaction, and I check the "search" box for the field, because I also need to use it as search criterial.
Then I go into the BSP_WD_CMPWB, the new field is already available for component BT120H_CPL, view Details. And it is also available for the search view.
So far, everything looks fine.
But when I go into the UI for testing, when I perform the complaints search and click one record to go into the complaints view, it gives me a exception on header. I use SAAB to check the details, it like following:
BTExtRefSet.BTEXTREF/MainWindow
An exception has occurred Exception Class CX_BSP_WD_INCORRECT_IMPLEMENT - Define Application Component 'BTExtRefSet'.
Method: CL_BSP_WD_REPOSITORY=>GET_CMP_USAGE_DEF

Is there anything I missing to do so I get such error message???

I have the same error but I am not usig EEWB.
I am trying to display my custom set types as assignment blocks in the Web UI on 'objects' view. I able to see my set type as assignment block, but when I click on it, I have this error:

Hi,
you cannot add new fields using ITCSY. It is the interface structure between a SAPscript an a value-changing form-routine.
Need example anyway?

How to add new fields in Web UI where AET is not applicable

Hi,
We tried to add new fields using AET, but surprisingly 'Create Field' is in disabled mode in AET Configuration.
We are trying to add custom fields to the view GSTEXT/notes. But we could not do that.
what are the other possible ways to add custom fields and the required configuration for that.
Your help and suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Thanks for the response, We want to add two custom fields in Component / View (Gstext / Note).
We are trying with AET tool, But in AET tool configuration window, ''Create Field'' is in not in active mode (disabled mode), we can see it but it is not clickable.
In order to proceed and create new fields it has to be in enabled.
Kindly suggest me how to activate this field. your suggestions will be highly apprecaited.

I am trying to add new field to Opportunity, TCODE : CRMD_BUS2000111 ) using EEWB.
I am using ...
Business object BUSINESS_TRANSACTION,
Extension type ADD_NEW_FIELDS
Business Transaction Type : CRM Opportunity
Assigned to : Customer Header data.
I am able to generate project and extension successfully. But don't see any new field or custom tab added to transaction for Opportunity ( TCODE : CRMD_BUS2000111 ).
WHEN I CHECKED BACK IN EEWB, DON'T SEE ANY SCREEN OBJECT IN OBJECT LIST.
I can see Tables, Function group, Function Module, Data Element in object list but Screen object is missing. I believe that's the reason why new screen field not has been added. But not able to find out the reason for that.

Hi Minal,
I would suggest to create a new extension with the following:
Create new extension, but use the Enhancement type: "Extend Opportunity"
When you create just two new fields with "ADD_NEW_FIELDS" you have to manually add them into the existing screens.

I have a requirement to add new fields to screen of transaction_code CRM_DNO_MONITOR. I found out the badi name "CRM_DNO_MONITOR" which uses interface "IF_CX_CRM_DNO_MONITOR" implemented in class "CL_EX_CRM_DNO_MONITOR".
I tried to debug tcode CRM_DNO_MONITOR to check for which action the methods in the BADI is called, it looks like it is not calling at all and generates the screen.
Please suggest how to add more fields in the screen using this BADI or any other way to add new fields.

It depends on where exactly (in screen) you want to add fields in Transaction VA45.
Check if you can add fields using Badis etc. (there is no Enhencement /User exits for this transaction ) and you shd know the screen number where you have to add fields. Also refere SAP Note 37871
if the fields you want to add are not standard fields the you need to add the fields (append the structure) in table related to transaction .

Is it possible to add a field in the Additional Data tab in the PO header and append the field in the PO table(EKKO) also or should I add a new tab and place my new field in the new tab? Is it possible also to add the field using a user exit instead of BADI?

U can add the additional screen field in the additional data tab or u can have a seperate tab for it. If u want to go for the additional data tab the badi ME_GUI_PO_CUST will be usefull here u can add the additional screen fields directlly . Please check this...
U can add the field in the statndard table like ekko by using the append structures.
To add a screen field u need a screen field exit or a badi that allow u to add a acreen field . In PO the SAP has provided the above mentioned BADI for doing this..

Hi Pavan,
The BADI which could have been used was BADI_SD_TAB_CUST_H but its made for SAP internal use only.
if you are working on ECC 6. May be you can try implementing this badi as an extension to SAP standard program and see if it works.

I need to enter new fields and then to perform validations using these new fields.

Hi Cristian,
As Akash has mentioned go to BSP application SRMSUS in SE80. Here you can copy standard invoice views and controler to z and then change them.
You can then create Z tables to store all values entered in this screen. You can ask your programmer to put validity checks accordingly.

when created added a field on the screen by using user exit then after that you have add the field in main table where you will be getting these table in the userexit only, please make sure about this. And i am sure defenitly it will get updated in to the table.

We are trying to enhance adobe form for scenario SRQ1.
We want to add some new fields to tha form.
For that we have copied the existing standard form to zform.
We have implemented the zinterface too.
To add new field on form we created as an import parameter in form interface.
We added to context of adobe form and on layout.
But we are not getting that field in 'special_data' table in BADI implementation of SRQ1.
Please let me know how and where we should write a code to add new field in 'special_data' table.

But now we are facing problem in adding data to additional_data table.
Can you tell us something about it.
Actually in set_additional_values method of BADI we are adding data to additional_data table but on form it is not reflecting.
