Is there a way to automate adding unique passwords to a number of pdf files

No you can't. Although Acrobat SDK claims support for that it does not actually work. At least I was unable to get Acrobat to register my encryption filter and use it. I was told it has something to do with the export restrictions. You can, I think, use Acrobat SDK to create a standalone application that does what you want but I myself never tried that.

    Hi Arora,
    Proceed as follows.
DATA: v_cout TYPE charn.  "Here replace 'n' by any number say char20
    v_cout = '123456'.
    CONCATENATE '0' v_cout INTO v_cout.
    WRITE:/ v_cout.
Now the output gets displayed as 0123456.
If this doesn't work out then send me your code so that I can modify the same and send it back to you.

  • Will you explain the meaning of, adding a astrisc (*) before a variable

    Hi All,
Will you explain the meaning of, adding a astrisc (*) before a variable.
    ex: *var1, *var2.

    Hi ravi,
    1. This is actually a facility provided in abap syntax.
    2. It is usually checked while saving a record.
    3. For eg.
       If we have one variable
       EKKO
    and another *EKKO
(They both are same only, with same structure)
    (but two different variables)
    4. The functional meaning, for usage purpose,
      of *EKKO is OLDEKKO.
    5. While saving the transaction,
the data is saved only if there is any change
      in the values.
    IF EKKO <> *EKKO.
    *--- SAVE
    ELSE.
    MESSAGE 'NO DATA CHANGED'
    ENDIF.
    6. We can aswell use any other variale
    eg. oldekko
         oekko
         myekko
      etc,
    7. But for business meaning,
R/3 has the facility for *

  • What does it mean when a plus sign shows up before the number?

I have a question that is going to sound very strange to some.
I have had two incidents with my iphone where I went to pick it up and it started dialing a number--A number I didn't dial and a number that didn't dial me. This happened on two separate occasions. Both times, there is a plus sign before the number. It is a domestic number and I have never seen the plus sign on my phone except when this has happened.
Does anyone know what that plus sign indicates?

NEVERMIND! All you have to do is tap the upper right corner of the ipod on a hard durface and it worked!!!!!

  • Adding + sign before contact number

This may seem like a stupid question . I have a new iphone 4 . I have all my contacts set up no problem . Is there a way on the contact page to add it without deleting the telephone number and retyping it in

  • Adding caller with name and number from call list to the contact list only inserts the number and not the name

I recently bought a BlackBerry Z10 and moved my cell service to Rogers to take advantage of the name display service offered by Rogers (Fido also offers this service).
Due to the number of calls that I receive from first time clients, I wanted the name display service to help me know who was calling. Evidently it is impossible to add clients to my contact list before they call me so I'm constantly seeing numbers that have no name to help me decide if I want to answer the call.
When I try to add a caller from my call list to my contact list, only the number gets inserted in the new contact. The name needs to be entered manually.
I understand and realize that not all call display formats are the same and that it's virtually impossible to parse the first and last names from the name portion of the caller id.
However, I would like to see BlackBerry add the functionality to insert the name portion of the call entry from the caller list to a "Nickname" entry in the contact list just like it adds the number to a "Home", "Mobile", or "Work" entry in the contact list.
If a user doesn't have a name display service, there would be no change to how their contacts are added because there is no name variable to copy over.
Can someone from BlackBerry please let me know if this feature can be added to BB10 and when it can be added? For me it's an obvious feature that should just work.
I am really enjoying my Z10 but I'm feeling let down that something so logical and helpful is not supported out of the box.
    Regards,
    Marc

    Hey ViciousFerret,
It appears that you are not aware of the fact that both Rogers and Fido offer name AND number display service (although the name display feature is an add-on service) and have been offering it for many years (since 2006). Here is a link to the name display service description of each provider...
    http://www.fido.ca/web/content/manageyourcalls/calldisplay&lang=en
    http://www.rogers.com/business/on/en/smallbusiness/products/wireless/addons/valuepacks/
As you can see from the link below, Rogers and Fido have been offering this service since 2006.
    http://www.businesswire.com/news/home/20060914005951/en/Teams-HP-Rogers-Wireless-Fido-Succeed-North
My BlackBerry Z10 shows both the name and number when someone calls (and the caller is not in my contact list).
All I would like is for the Z10 (and Q10) to support the addition of the name and number from the caller list to my contact list without me having to type the name. As I mentioned in my original post, to avoid the OS having to parse the first name and last name from the name portion of the caller list entry the name could simply be added to the contact list as a "Nickname". If your provider only has number display, nothing would have to be copied from the name variable in the caller list to the contact list.
I find it difficult to believe that BlackBerry would not be aware of this name display service since it's been around since 2006 with both Rogers and Fido.
I hope I have clarified the reasons why I would like to have this feature added to BB10 and how it's surprising that this simple feature is not already a part of the BB10 OS.
Either way, I don't think this is a difficult feature for the BlackBerry team to add. They're just copying a 2nd variable from the caller list to the contact list.
I'm surprised that Rogers hasn't asked BlackBerry to add this feature to their phones. I think it would be a popular feature for those who receive a high number of calls from first time callers.
How can I get this feature request to BlackBerry for their consideration?
    Cheers,
    Marc

  • Adding voice commend to dial number in address book

Id like to figure out how to be able to add a voice commend that would enable me to dial phone number from my address book when i have my cellphone linked with my MBP via bluetooth.
Something along the lines of "Make call to FIRST_NAME LAST_NAME at (WORK, HOME, MOBILE)"
    anyone have any ideas

There is a collection of AppleScripts called Mail Scripts you can download at this link.
    http://homepage.mac.com/aamann/Mail_Scripts.html
The script you want to use from the collection of included scripts is Add Addresses (Mail) which adds addresses found in the selected messages (in the header fields "From", "To", "Cc", and "Bcc") to the Address Book. This is much more flexible than the "Add Sender to Address Book" available in Mail and provides a convenient way for creating mailing lists.
    * Select all messages you want to use for creating the mailing list (for creating a mailing list, you would choose all messages in a mailbox which contains all messages on a certain topic).
    * Run the script and you get a list with all addresses contained in the selected messages - mark all the addresses you want to add to the Address Book using the checkboxes.
    * From the popup menu, choose which group you want to update with the selected addresses or select "Create new Group..." and enter the name for the new group to be created.
    * The script checks whether an address is already present before adding it to the Address Book in order to avoid duplicate entries. If additional information is available for an entry already present in the Address Book (e.g., full name information for an entry which had prior been email-only), the entry will be updated.

    Hi,
Following are the steps to add new fields to the existing view.
    - Create a new controller class (ZCL..) with original view class as super class
    - Create new BSP application with View and Controller
    - Attach the above Z class to the view and controller created and activate the BSP appln.
    - Go to transaction BSP_WD_WORKBENCH and type your BSP appln.
    - Expand your controller and at the Context class use Wizard to create new context node and bind this to Custom Controller class available.
This whole process requires complte understanding of View, Controller, Custom controller and basic custom modifications to IC Web Frame work.

  • Adding prefix 'E' to BP Number of Role 'Employee' while creation

    Hi,
I have a requirement wherein I have to add prefix 'E' to the BP Number of Employee role while creation. For this I am using a method 'CHANGE_BEFORE_UPDATE' of BADI 'PARTNER_UPDATE'. I am pasting the code below. While debugging, I am checking the value in internal table 'lt_but000_new' and I can see that prefix 'E' is getting added in BP Partner Number. But, the same is not happening when it is getting saved. Can anyone suggest me what should I do to achieve this functionality.

    Hi,
You can do this particular scenario in SPRO settings itself.
Only thing is you need to check in the SPRO settings in number ranges as well as groupings that you define as external. (Tick the check box present there).
Number assignment: The business partner number range object is BU_PARTNER. Generally, there are three types of number assignment when business partners are created from the R/3 system.
01 = This is the internal interval of BU_PARTNER.
02 = External number assignment, the system uses the number from a specific internal interval of the object.
03 = The number is transferred from HR and a prefix is added. In this case, a specific external interval, which must be defined as XX00000000 (up to XX99999999), is used (where XX denotes any two letters).
Any one of the three intervals can be set up for HR integration.
You can use 02, so that when a business partner is created from employee data, the partner number will be identical to the employee. The value of this interval will equal that of the employee number range interval in R/3.
Also, not all the business partners will be employees from R/3, there would likely to be external partners of various types under various roles other than Employee (for e.g. u2013 Vendor, Bidder, Sold-To, Ship-To etc). These business partners would be present only in the CRM system, and not in the R/3 system. Thus, we require an internal interval as well to create these business partners on the fly.
And then this is the exact definition for External number grouping.
It means that this external grouping is used as the standard grouping.
The BDT selects this standard grouping if a business partner number was assigned to a business partner when the latter was created, but not a grouping.
Hope your problem is resolved with this.

    Hi,
I don't have RH Server, so this is a bit of a guess but I think one method will work.
Modify the toolbar order in whstart.js.
    1. In whstart.js, go to line 184 (RH10), it has the text else if (nMsgId == WH_MSG_TOOLBARORDER).
    2. Below the opening bracket add the following code:
    oMsg.oParam = "CUSTOM|toc|glo|idx|fts|blackblock|searchform|banner";
    return false;
    3. Open whskin_tbars.htm and go to the bottom of the file to find a few calls starting with addButton.
    4. Copyt the id of the button (customxxxx) and replace the text CUSTOM in whstart.js.
    Modify whskin_tbars.htm
    1. Open whskin_tbars.htm
    2. Go to the bottom of the file and find a few calls starting with addButton.
    3. Set the lines in the order you want the buttons to appear. (Don't forget the 'blankblock' button to push certain content to the right of the toolbar.
    4. Remove the call to the function ReSortToolbarButtons() from the file whskin_tbars.js.
If WebHelp does still resort the buttons, try adding return false; as the first code in the function ReSortToolbarButtons() in the file whtbar.js
    Hope this helps,
