Adding a container to sap.m.Page causes container height to be 0px. Any fixes?

In a simple SAP UI5 mobile app if I add a TileContainer to a sap.m.Page, the TileContainer's height is set to zero. Try to save the attached txt file, by changing the extension to .html and then open in the browser. Go to page 2 and inspect the dom elements. The element with id projectTileContainer has height 0 and consequently it's content is not visible. I have also seen this behavior when adding NavigationContainer to page. What am I missing?

Yep, that's the correct answer, thanks.
The reason is that without "enableScrolling = false" the height of the page content area adapts to the height of the content. And the height of the TileContainer (this is the content) adapts to the height of the parent, so there is a short circuit and the browser collapses it to zero. You'll find this pattern often in CSS height handling.

Hi Hendrik,
Did you check by right clicking on the shell and giving inspect element whether the shell has the splitapp div inside it?
if so then check whether it has got some width and height if not try to give it inform of pixels instead of percentage

Upon opening iWeb the pages in the program are blank. Any fixes?

When I open up iweb to update it all the pages are white and blank. The site its self looks fine on the web. Anyone else ever have this problem?

In Lion the Library folder is now invisible. To make it permanently visible enter the following in the Terminal application window: chflags nohidden ~/Library and hit the Enter button - 10.7: Un-hide the User Library folder.
To open your domain file in Lion or to switch between multiple domain files Cyclosaurus has provided us with the following script that you can make into an Applescript application with Script Editor. Open Script Editor, copy and paste the script below into Script Editor's window and save as an application.

Just launch the application, find and select the domain file you want to open and it will open with iWeb. It modifies the iWeb preference file each time it's launched so one can switch between domain files.
WARNING: iWeb Switch Domain will overwrite an existing Domain.sites2 file if you select to create a new domain in the same folder. So rename your domain files once they've been created to something other than the default name.

Illustrator Shape Builder Tool: After the latest CC update, the tool alters shapes once edited instead of just removing/adding the desired shape. Anyone else run into this and/or have any fixes?

I am using a PC and installed the latest update of all the CC programs I use (AI, PS, AE, etc.) and within Illustrator I've noticed the Shape Builder Tool doesn't behave exactly as it did in the past. (And not in a good way.)
Previous versions allowed me to edit/add/remove shapes from one another without issue (leaving all shape paths as they were before the editing while making the desired alterations), but the newest behavior seems to alter existing paths once shapes are merged/deleted making the tool almost non-usable.
Not sure if there's a check box I'm missing or what, but have done some brief research on the problem and haven't found anything helpful. If anyone has run into this issue and/or knows a way to correct it, I would greatly appreciate it

A menubar is not a general component that is added to a frame like any another. It is the specific responsibility of the setMenuBar/setJMenuBar methods to deal with this.

Adding a background image to every page.

Problem: I am attempting to add a company logo (.jpg) file to a multipage PDF document. I know I can add the logo as a stamp but I need the logo to be on every page in the same position and with the same size. I was hoping that using it as a watermark would be the answer but I can't seem to get it to work. It would be great to be able to add it in the header section but it is not an option either (so I think). Please let me know if there is any tricks I can learn to accomplish what I am seeking to do. I would be willing to upgrade to Acrobat Pro X if needed.
Background: I am running Mac OS X (10.6.7) and Adobe Pro 9. The issue I am running into involves a file in Microsoft Excel 2008 that contains multiple pages of spread sheets and charts/graphs. In Excel, I add the company logo to the header section and it shows up on all pages. When I go to print out the document some of the pages need to "Shrink to fit" and when they shrink so does the logo. Ok, take the logo out of those pages, done. Next, on the pages that have graphs and visual charts the logo appears on the computer but is hidden behind the visual graphic when you save as a PDF.
That said, I have a well functioning PDF but after saving from Excel only some of the pages have the company logo on them while the others do not. I need to have the logo on all pages in order to send as a digital version (company requires it). My only solution right now is to print out the pages (not containing company logo) on pre-printed paper containing the logo and then scan those pages back in digitally and add them back into my PDF document. Not only is this method time consuming but it also cuts up the PDF into a on OCRed type of PDF.

Boy that makes a lot of sense. There must be something up with my file in regards to adding a watermark. When I have my document open in Adobe Acrobat 9 and I try to add a watermark I receive the following error.
"An error was encountered while retrieving page content."
I open a different document that I don't care to add the watermark to and it opens fine. I think your answer to use watermarks is spot on. I need to see if Adobe Acrobat X will allow me to add a watermark to my file.

Multi-page spanable container?

Hi, I'm trying to create a sidebar (Note, Warning, you know) that uses different shading than the body text.
Right now I'm using a graphic frame, then I draw a shaded rectangle in it, then I place an text frame in the rectangle to be able to place text.
The problem is that this clumsy structure cannot span multiple pages, and I am forced to leave huge empty spaces around the document (or to break the text in two sidebars manually). Not to mention that i have to resize manually all three objects when I change the text.
I tried every combination of objects one can imagine to create a container that can span pages automatically (like connected text frames do with text.)
Can anybody help?

Okay, I understand. In Word, you would achieve this with "Shading". It
puts shading behind each line of type (like a highlighter). Not sure
what you mean by "added art".
The only way I know to do this in Frame is with a table. Art and Riley
have already covered this pretty well. The problem of table rows
breaking as complete units is just something you have to live with (and
prevent, as much as possible, by keeping these elements short and each
paragraph as a separate row in the table).
One fairly ugly workaround is to paste text from a saved email (so that
each line ends in CR/LF) and then Convert to Table. This will give you a
table with each line in its own row. Kind of hard to edit, and it takes
some fiddling with the email app to get the line length right. But when
you're done, you've got a table that allows breaks mid-paragraph. Set up
your table in a style and you can make it pretty automatic.
The only app I know that makes this easily possible is (was?) Ventura,
which allows background shading as a character style. You might be able
to achieve this is Indesign, with customized underline or strikethrough,
but I've not played with it yet.
Another option is to forget the shading and set off the Note or Warning
with rules above and below, or sans serif type for the Note and serif
type for the body, or any other of a half dozen other graphic art
techniques for setting off "different" text.

my issue is regarding the medruck. when i click on the print preview option on me23n, the sap script attached(that is medurck) will be printed. in my case the sap script is zmm_medruck(the zcopy of medruck). now, the print out of the sap script is 2 or 3 or 5 paged depending upon the p.o. number given.
for example for a p.o. number 2100001564, the sap script contains 4 pages. now, my issue is , the print out should contain only last 2 pages or only 3 rd page.(that is without all pages, we want only specific pages of the sap script to be printed). how to do this. plz reply fast. points will awarded.
this is urgent issue.

Eliminating blank pages caused by conditional text

My PDF file contains extra blank pages caused by hidden conditional text. All files are set to "Delete empty pages." Is there anything else I need to do?

The blank pages do not use custom master pages and do not have any empty carriage returns. However, because of the way the page break happens to fall, the marker for the hidden conditional text is the only thing on the blank page. If a hidden condition marker is the only thing on a page, can FM not delete the page?
Also, is there any way that FM can ignore a file in the book that is 100% conditional, and not create any pages for it in the PDF?

Just thought I'd add my solution, I decided to go with WebDAV and I think it actually works better than the iTunes way, the steps are pretty much the same but avoiding the iTunes interface just makes things easier and faster.
I followed this guide but it does have a small mistake in the httpd-dav.conf file, on line 2, where it's WebServer/WebDAV">, it should be <Directory "/Library/WebServer/WebDAV">.
The tricky part is setting permissions which if wrong will give you errors when connecting with the iPad, I opted to set all to Read&Write since my home network has a hardware firewall. Another convenience was to add an alias to the webdav share on the Desktop.
I'm still expecting the call from Apple but even if they fix the iTunes I'm sticking with WebDAV, atleast until I see what's new with iOS5 and iCloud this fall which should bring true sync for documents (I'm hoping that they will offer encryption with my own keys, if not, then I'll probably keep using WebDAV).

Adding Fields to People Search Results Page

Working in SharePoint Online, I've been able to add a few fields to the People Search results page successfully:
Organization
Office Locator
Office Location
Work Phone
Mobile Phone
Home Phone
Work Email
All of the above fields are working and display on the People search results page.
I tried to add these and they simply do not display. There is no error:
University Email
Assistant
Calendar/Scheduling
I set them up the same way. I created the Property in the User Profile area. I then populated the data for each user. I then added the property as a Managed property (search schema) linked to the Crawled property from the People category.
Made sure that they were query able, retrievable, searchable, etc. Then I edited the People Search code and then I waited over the weekend for the search to pick them up. I came into work this morning and they still do not display. Here is

According to your post, my understanding is that you have an issue about adding fields in people search results page.
Per my knowledge, there is no issue in your steps, and the issue may be related to the search crawl in SharePoint online.
For SharePoint server on-premise, we can start the search full crawl, however, for SharePoint online, we could not start the search full crawl manually.
You can wait for some time to complete the search full crawl in SharePoint online, then check whether it works.
As this is the forum for SharePoint server on-premise, I’m not familiar with the SharePoint online search crawl, for this issue, I recommend you can post a new question in the forum for Office 365/SharePoint online.

Have you tried the following?
I'm assuming there is nothing written on the second page.
Scroll down to the second page and write something.
Highlight everything on that page Usually this will show in blue including the invisibles.
Make sure you attempt to highlight everything by selecting the whole page.
Press Backspace/delete until all of that page is clear.
Continue until your cursor lands on your first page.
By then the offending second blank page should have gone.
I tried this procedure a few minutes ago and it worked. (Pages 5.5.2)

I would not trust that on a banking site. If it were just a forum, no problem, but anything unencrypted during banking is suspicious.

Pass parameters that contain spaces between web pages

I have a .jsp . Inside it, I only need to call a link with a parameter.
The problem is that the parameter contains spaces:
name="ALARM LEVELS"
If I write:
<a href=modif_list.jsp?name=<%=paramName%>>See list</a></p>The parameter received in modif_list is "ALARM" and not "ALARM LEVELS"!!!
How can I pass parameters that contain spaces between web pages?

The think is that the parameter is a label and obviously I don't know the value before hand.
In fact, I am using
<a href=modif_list.jsp?table=<%=paramName%>&label=<%=label%>
<%=tableName%></a></p>.....So I can't help it if the label contains spaces.
Now if there is no solution, I suppose I can always replace the space by "_" and when I collect the parameter, I replace the "_" by a space!

Hi,
the link that Tammy shared is for the BI platform and Jam integration, if you use BI platform then you can take advantage of this, but there is no integration with Lumira Cloud and Jam.
AFAIK Jam does not have the ability to embed the openDocument URL that Lumira Cloud provides in an iframe, but you may just be able to post the openDocument link and have people click on it.
