Adding a field in a table of a form .

Question

hello everybody,
I would like to replace the field "description" of product by the field "details" of product  in the form "invoice of customer".
how can i do that in the adobe live cycle designer?

Hi Mohamed,
If the field you wanted to add is already available in the Customer Inv BO, then follow these steps,
1. Download the template of customer invoice form from Form template maintenance WCview under Application and user management WC. A Zip file is downloaded along with Main schema, sample xml, and a XDP file.
2. Open the XDP file in ALD.
3. Select Data View in the left palette and delete the data connection by right clicking it and selecting the option Delete data connection.
4. Now add New data connection by right clicking in the same data view. In the window opened select XML schema and press next. Now select the Main schema file and press ok.
5. Now select both the Description cell and header cell of description in the table. After selecting it, in the object view, chck for the presence option and select "Hidden (Exclude from layout)". This will make the column decription disappear from the table. But it will not delete the column. It is advised not to delete any standard things from the form.
6. Now right click any column and select Insert --> new column. After inserting, in the bind tab of object view, select the elemet you want to bind in the data binding option available there.
Now save the form.
Note: You could also directly bind the description field to the element u want in the Data binding option available under Bind tab in Object view. But it is not advised to do so as per SAP guidelines.
