Adding a person in Messages 8.1?
I have been unable to add a person to a message. I'm running iOS 8.1 on all devices and Yosemite 10.10 on my iMac. When I click "details" there is no option to add someone. I don't have any group messages saved right now, so maybe that is it? You'd think you could add another person to a single person conversation. Does any one know if that's possible? Maybe I'm doing something wrong when trying to add a person.
Do they have Acrobat? Or do they have the free Adobe Reader? What does the message say EXACTLY?

If you activated Find My Phone before it was lost or stolen, you can track it only if Wi-Fi is enabled on the device. What you cannot do is track your device using a serial number or other identifying number. You cannot expect Apple or anyone else to find your device for you. I added a persona, wanted a new one so disabled and removed the old one. I added a new persona, but the old one keeps coming back. Going into tools/add ons does no good because it is not even listed anymore but keeps coming back. I've shut down/restarted, I've searched for answers to this problem.
The data that specifies which persona to display is stored as a pref in the prefs.js file in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Did you try to rename or move the prefs.js file and a possible user.js file to see if that helps?
Are you using the Personas Plus extension, because in that case you need to check the settings in that extension.

Workflow stopped working when we added new person to dummy HR position
Hi,
We have a third party expense reporting system which apparently sends some sort of IDOC to our SAP system. This uses a HR dummy position in a dummy org to which users have been assigned. These users are supposed to receive workflow emails that are expense reporting related.
In August we added a person to this HR position and there were no issues.
In October we added a person to this HR position and workflow stopped working. We tried taking the person back off who was last added and workflow will not come back on.
How do we get the workflow to process again? We can figure out why that one person didn't work if we can get the workflow working for the other 5 people going again.
Sorry for the high level details of the issue. I haven't worked all the parts of it and am just pulling info from people to try and help find a solution.
UPDATE:
Here is the problem as described by my colleague.
For the Concur expense reporting system, the data from the Concur system is communicated as IDOCs to SAP through the PI middleware. When these IDOCs fail during the inbound processing (status 51) emails will be triggered and sent to the org unit (position - 50003828). A change was made to the position by the HR team on Oct 7th (a new user was added and one was removed). Since then the users have stopped receiving emails. The workflow has stopped.
We tried to take that new user back off and the email did not start back up. We would like to get it started again and then figure out how to add that new user without an issue.

The fact that the users have stopped receiving emails does not mean that the workflow has stopped. Ask your colleague why he thinks that.
My guess: a change was made to that position, for example it was date-delimited so that it's no longer valid.
As suggested above, look in SWI1. It'll be very easy if you know what the workflow number (WS....) is.
Is it absolutely certain that it's a workflow sending these mails? If you look at an example of a mail, who was it sent by?
Applying SWI1_RULE would only help if there was just one new user not receiving emails.

We've tried reactivating iMessage, deleting threads, and contacts but nothing seems to work. Has this happened to anyone else?Restart both devices (press the HOME and power button until the Apple logo appears then releasae). If both devices have iMessage turned on and to send as SMS when iMessage is not available, the the green messages are indicative of iMessage not being available on one or both devices.

Hi, is it possible to send messages to the person who is yet to be added to the skype messenger? Can a person receive and read messages if they are not added to the list? I have sent additional messages to someone while sending a request to add, so just wanted to confirm if they'll be able to get them or not.
Also, a new feature where you can 'remove/delete' a message, if I am able to remove/delete a message that I send to someone, does that mean that the other person hasn't read it yet?how do I restore the archive on skype after blocking a person?

Adding a personal email account
I'm trying to add a personal email account to my BlackBerry but keep getting the message "At this time your email, calendar and contacts accounts can't be added - please try again later". With my previous BlackBerry (which was the same model) I just added the email address and password and that was it. Can anyone help?

With a strong carrier network signal (e.g., not merely WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should result in a message coming to your BB...please wait for that before proceeding to the next step):
1) Register HRTKB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with the wireless networkPlease wait for one "registration" message to appear2) RebootBB10 Devices. Hold the top button down until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the device to be fully shut down (e.g., nothing at all displayed on the screen, no LED lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red LED is lit. Wait through the full boot-up process.IF this fails, you can attempt the more forceful method of holding the up/down volume keys until the device fully shuts down. Wait a bit and them power up normally.See if things have returned to good operation. Like all computing devices, BB's suffer from memory leaks and such...with a hard reboot being the best cure.Hopefully that will get things going again for you! If not, then you should try other email accounts so as to determine if it's just this one account that is the problem. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile service provider for formal support.

Norton Personal Firewall messages at startup won't go away
I used to have Norton Personal Firewall (NPF) installed on my G5 iMac. For some time now, whenever I start up, I get two messages related to NPF. The first one says that I have installed new system software and need to restart my computer. The second one says that NPF "cannot launch the kernel extension" and that "some features of NPF may not be enabled."
I have been just ignoring and closing both of these messages, but recently I have been doing a cleanup, deleting files I don't need any more, and when I recently upgraded my Norton Antivirus software, I decided that NPF was superfluous, since Mac OS Leopard (10.5.5) has its own firewall. I tried to use the Norton uninstaller to delete the program, but the uninstaller does not list NPF in its list of applications to uninstall. I have done a Spotlight search for any NPF-related files and have also deleted all my old System 9 folders. I'm still getting these messages, though. Has anyone else ever seen this problem, and do you have any suggestions?

As I mentioned, when I open Uninstaller and it searches for installed applications, Norton Personal Firewall does not show up in the list. So I can't use the Uninstaller to uninstall NPF. But I appreciate your attempt to help me.
I wonder if somehow there are still some "residual" files remaining from NPF? If so, I have no idea how to find them, since they don't show up with a Spotlight search. Maybe it is something that is somehow embedded in the System? -
User pictures are not shown when users are added to person field in custom list

Recently we have migrated our intranet from SP2010 to SP2013. We upgraded User profile service application, My sites and Intranet site to new environment. We haven't upgraded sites to use SP 2013 templates due to some business decisions. Everything
is working fine and as expected.
There are few lists in our environment where we have added users in a persons fields and allowed to show their pictures with details along with name. these user pictures are not being shown on to the page. After looking in picture property I found that "white
Space" in a picture library name is replace by %2520 instead of %20 (/user%2520photos/profile%2520pictures).
I tried reproducing problem on a new team site with SP 2010 template and it is reproduced however it is not occurring for a team site with SP 2013 template.
Any suggestions would be very helpful for resolving this issue. Thanks in advance.
-Amol MesheWe are experiencing the same issue. We get a /User%2520Photos/Profile%2520Pictures/ path anytime we use the people picker field with the option to display picture or the picture and details option.
EDIT: This is only a problem on the list view. If you open the display form the image shows just fine. I can't see any setting view Edit Page and updating the web part that contains the list data to correct this.

Adding signatures to reply messages
Ok, its not that Entourage doesn't add the signature, it's that it adds it at the end of the reply email. So you can count how many times I've replied to an email by counting my signature at the end of the email. In Outlook, it adds your signature at the top of your reply messages. Short of manually adding the signature to each reply email, how can I get my signature to stop adding at the bottom of the email?
Try looking in the documentation for Entourage to see if you can set the location for the signature in Preferences. You should read the documentation before posting a topic here, especially since this is not a topic for the forums. This is for Apple products only.

It says to enter my domain and confirm it so I've tried that many times as well as rebooting then trying again etc. I've opened my domain and was paying for support through ipowerweb but I'm trying to convert to mac now.
