Adding custom fields in Contract and PO screen

Hi Experts
I am trying to enhance contract and PO screen by creating structure Ci_bbp_hdr_ctr and Ci_bbp_hdr_po
Now I am able to display the required fields on the screen.
Is there any other way to do the same??
I want to change the position of the fields, how to achieve that??
and How to display drop down fields??

To add the customer fields please have a look at the following OSS Notes:

To display the customer field as drop-down list go through the below given thread:

The position of the customer fields depends on the order you added them in the Incluse structure as per the OSS Notes 458591& 672960. If you added a customer field first then it would appear first simlarly if you have added it at the end of the structure it will appear towards the end of the screen.

Adding Custom Fields to BSEG and BKPF Tables

Hi All,
My customer would like to add around 5 fields to BKPF table and 6-7 fields to BSEG table. Can you all suggest me whether it would be a good idea to add any custom field to these tables ? I would like to mention that standard fields available in these tables will not be used for the requirements of the customer and he is insisting on adding custom fields. I need your expert advice on this matter.

Hi Friend,
Please do not add any custom fields in those tables.
These two tables are pillar of accounting entries in SAP, if you want to push them then it is OK, otherwise find some other way.

SRM 7.0 -Adding Custom fields in Contract Item screen at particular positn

Hi,
We have a requirement to add new custom fields in the Contract Item screen at required position, in Left and right side container.
We have tried the following methods but have not been able to achieve the same. Kindly help!
1) Added new field in Context through enhancemnt in the Details screen View of Contract , Binded the field to the field in structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_CTR and add the field to teh Layout - Using this method, The field is not saved to the table.
2) Added the field to meta data table /SAPSRM/V_MDF_IC - This is positionng the field on teh right container at the bottom. We want to position it on left side.
Kindly help to understand where we are going wrong.

Sorry ..You are right..I was looking at some other WDC related to contract data..It you map the CUFs to /SAPSRM/S_CLL_CTR_ITEM which has the include structure INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF_CTR then it should work fine.
If you do this, are you able to view the new fields on the screen?
you mentioned that you are not able to save the data to the table.
Include your fields in INCL_EEW_PD_ITEM_CSF as well because if you add CUF to any of those doc types, you also have to add those CUF to the global structure for CUF documents.
Also Check if you fields are there in structures BBPS_CTR_CUF_ITEM,BBPS_CTR_UI_ITEM and BBPS_CTR_ITEM.
Check whether you have implemented the BADI's like BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI ,BBP_DOC_CHANGE_BADI and BBP_DOC_SAVE_BADI . check out the structures (whether they having the CUFS) used in those if you have implemented any of them .

Adding Custom Fields to Contract Overview Screen

Hi,
I have added Cost Centre as a custom field to the Contract Header screen; I'd like to know if it is possible to add this field to the Overview screen/tab, as we consider it an important field. The SAP documentation hints that it's only possible to add to HEADER or ITEM tabs; is this true?
This is for SRM 7.0
Any pointers would be of great help.

Addition of custom fields in Contract and mapping it with the fields in SRM

Hi all,
A custom field should be added to bid invitation in SRM and mapped to a custom( Z field) field which is present on the contract header screen in R/3 backend. Is it possible to map these custom fields. The custom field which is in the backend contract is a mandatory field for creating a contract in the backend. It is not getting filled so the contract is not getting created in the backend. One solution which we thought of was to create a csutom field on bid invitation and pass the value of the custom field to backend by concatenating it to any of the standard field ehich is getting passed to the backend and then splitting the standard field and retrieving the custom field value and restoring the standard field value. If you think of any solution do let me know.

Adding custom field in ME2B and business function activation

Hi Experts,
I have one requirement for adding one custom field in ME2B for ALV output. From some old thread i come to know we have to implement BADI "ME_CHANGE_OUTTAB_CUS". But when i search for this BADI its not available.
For this BADI suppose we have to activate one business function MM, Integration of Materials Management and Financial Accounting (LOG_MMFI_P2P).
I want to know if we activate this business function then what are the changes will happen in our system(In standard transaction).
Please revert.

Hi Team,
I resolved this issue using enhancement without using BADI. My team not ready to activate the Business so i moved to implicit enhancement.
Inside method " if_reader_mm~read_table." in include "LMEREPI02", we are getting the Fieldcatlog and dynamic table for output. Here i have added my custom field and changed the dynamic structure with reference " ex_table_ref ".
I know this is not a proper way to do, but it is not affecting the standard process.

Regarding Adding Custom Fields to VTTK and VT01n transaction.

Hi,
We need to add few custom fields to Shipment header table VTTK.
Also, these fields should be reflected in 'Additional Data' tab of transaction VT01n/VT02n for editing and should be available for display in VT03n.
If anyone has done this, please provide the approach.

Hi Arshad,
The fields suppl.1 to suppl.4 and Addit.text 1 to Addit.text 4 are the reserve fields available in additional data tab of shipment.
If those fields are not being used already, u can utilise those fields for your purpose. Please check the documentation for the fields ADD01 to ADD04 and TEXT1 to TEXT4 in VTTK table.
The description of the fields can be modified from CMOD transaction.

Adding custom fields through SE51

Hi All!
This is with regards to adding custom fields through Se51 to standard screens.I had added custom field KNVV-ZZKVGR6 to the screen.
After drawing the text and I/O buttons.When I activate I am getting an syntax error saying Field KNVV-ZZKVGR6 is defined differently in screen (ABAP/4 field,Dictionary field).
What does this mean.
Also if i activate with a SAP standard field instead of the custom it is getting activated.
But for both the ways I could not able to see the output on the actual transaction.Also the new drawings which i am drawing are in brown color(different form the existing one)
Please advise.

hi Praneeth,
what is the program name,screen number you are trying to modify..,and after appending the field ZZKVGR6 to KNVV , now go to table and choose menu Utilities->Data base Utility-> now click on Activate and Adjust the Data base, then try to add the field.
and are you adding the field from Dictionary (i.e you have option Get From Dictionary in that give KNVV table name it will list the fields, choose zzkvgr6 from it, and place it in your screen.)
the exit which you are adding should be appropriate one
or else you won't get the desired results. what is the exit..

but i am not able to figure out a way to use it.

Click on the enhancement assignments button and add the selected enhancement there and enter and save it.

Adding custom fields to FPE1/2/3 transaction screen

Hi guys,
I need to add custom fields from table DFKKOP to transactions FPE1/2/3 under ADDITIONAL DATA area while manually entering NEW BUSINESS PARTNER ITEM.
The transaction is not BDT enabled and does not have a screen exit. The user exit and BaDI dont seem helpful to me.
The screenshot below shows the user exits and BaDI for the transaction.

Yea i got the functional guys to configure it. Was a unique issue!.....But I know how they did it.
You can add it through SPRO transaction. Go to the below mentioned path.
Go to SAP Reference IMG
Financial Accounting > Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable > Basic Functions > Posting and Documents > Document >
Screen Preparartions > Include Own Fields in Detail Screens.
Here you need to enter the details from FPE1 transaction screen.
Activity Documentation:
Include Own Fields in Detail Screens
In this activity you can, if you have added customer fields to the document structures, include these customer fields in the entry screens of the transaction for posting documents.
For the detail screens (business partner item and G/L account item) you can create a screen that contains your own fields. You must create this screen as a subscreen using the Screen Painter. In addition you have to create modules for the intialization and for data transfer (PBO and PAI).
Activities
If you have extended the document strutures to includes customer fields, and you need these fields in the entry screens for posting documents, you must create the screen using the Screen Painter.
Carry out this step to create the screen and the modules that go with it in the system. You do not have to activate these afterwards.
Further notes
Read the field help for each field in the table. This describes the exact procedure.

FBV1 - missing standard field and adding customer field

I am in a process of developing a batch input program based on RFBIBL00 to upload preliminary posted documents.
The problem is some fields are not there. A standard field BKPF-REINDAT is missing. Also there is a requirement to add a customer field from BSEG (on vendor screen).
I have searched SAP notes for possible solutions, most of them include modifying screens by hand and adding the required fields there (i.e. Note 1347046 - VATDATE: Field missing in batch input parking (FBV1)).
This is quite a serious modification, requiring access key to change SAP objects. Before I decide to change SAP standard objects I kindly ask whether anyone tried that ? REINDAT might work, as it's a standard field, but I'm note sure about customer fields.
Has anyone tried modifying FBV1 or any of FI posting screens by hand and can provide some input on this ?

Dear Bart ,
as You know the field in question is intended only for US-Federal customers.
The field is not availble into the standard system using the parking transaction; therefore You should run se51 at Your own responsability and do the changes.
If You need to be completely sure about the impact on the customer System, please kindly open a message on the marketplace.

I need a screen exit or whatever other method for adding custom fields to the additional data tab at header level.

goto to tcode->status->program name->double click on that,
then goto to-> attribute take the package name and
Goto SMOD tcode ->Utilities->give the package name and F8
then a list of exits will display for that tcode as well as that package.
u can check the table MODSAP
u can check the table MODACT
For BADI's,
1)goto to tcode SE24 give the CL_EXITHANDLER and display and then double click on the GET_INSTANCE
keep Break point at this location 'call method cl_exithandler=>get_class_name_by_interface'
then the tcode it will trigger there and we can debugg there we can find badi'for that tcode and then remove the break point.
2)Goto to tcode->status->program name->double click on that program will display's
then press crtl+F then cl_exithandler

Custom Fields to Contract 'Conditions' Screen

Please share how to add custom fields to Contract 'Conditions' screen just like 'Unit Price'.
As there is no '_CI' table for conditions table, we are not able to implement the same. We also tried using BDT but to no avail.

The requirement is to add three more informational fields beside/below the Unit Price. Those fields should hold data, condition wise. i.e. it requires to add 3 more columns in VICNCN table to which I'm afraid there is no custom include available. Also we referred note 690900. Please help how to proceed.
