Adding mimetype to document types in Web Access

I need more mimetypes than are in document types in Web Access.
Have tried to add a mimetype just to the wks$mimetype table but get java errors when go in the Usearch Admin web site. Is there a set way to add these to the Not Processed list in Web Access, so can add to the Processed list?

Can you tell us what is the mimetype that is missing from the list?
Is it a proprietary mimetype? Ultra Search does not support adding of new
mimetype as it perceive the list is complete (it is from IANA, Internet Assigned Numbers Authority).
Every new mimetype needs a message id which points to the description of the mimetype. Since
user can not add new message, you will have to use an arbitary id outside the range of 26000-26034,
you might want to try id 80189 "Document type", e.g.,
insert into wk$mimetypes(descriptor,media_type,extensions, id, msg_id)
values ('abc document','application/abc','abc',wk$mimetypes_seq.nextval, 80189);
Another workaround is to add this new mimetype directly to the ultrasearch/data/config/crawler.dat file. In that case every
data source will pick up document of this mimetype. e.g.,
MIMEINCLUDE application/abc
Keep in mind operation like this is not supported by Ultra Search.

  • Creating a Document type Asynchronous Web Services

    Hi,
I am trying to create a Document typ Asynchronous webservice, following the request/reply pattern. Can anyone point me to some tutorial which explains this, or explain the way the service implementation has to be.
I want to know how to do the call back or polling faclity in the service implementation.

    Hello,
The OracleAS Core Web Service stack currently (10.1.3 and earlier) does not have any API/DevModel, to create an Asynch service.
However you can still use JAX-RPC/SAAJ APIs to manipulate the WS-Addressing information to faciliate the call back. For the implementation itself you will have to choose what fits you the best, for example using JMS under the cover to process the event that will do the call back.
It is also true that today, we have lot of customers that use Oracle BPEL to create asynchronous services since it is 100% declarative.

  • Adding to a document type table

    Hi,
I read the discussion board on this topic and I am having the same problem. I realise I have to add a value for the Mandatory Field DocNum but I cannot find code that works to do this. To add user fields I used the following:
    Dim oUserTable As SAPbobsCOM.UserTable
    oUserTable = oCompany.UserTables.Item("TABLE_NAME")
    oUserTable.UserFields.Fields.Item("U_userfield").Value = "Value"
and if I needed to add default fields like code I would use:
    oUserTable.Code = 1
but i don't know how to add to the field DocNum or DocEntry. I think DocEntry maybe read only anyway but is there a way to add to DocNum?
    Thanks

SAPbobsCOM.UserTable (or SDK DI) does not support data in UDO-Tables... They can only be filled via the gui.
The functionality to this major problem should be included in SBO2006A (new DI-object). Until then, it cant be done
I see this as the single most missing feature of the SDK at the moment.

  • RD Web Access SSO not working correctly

I have two Win 2008 r2 sp1 servers.  Both are RD Session host servers.  One of them is also serving as a RD Gateway server AND RD Web access server.  Most everything is working well and as planned.  However, I am having an issue with
    the the RD Web Access.
In the RD Web access server configuration page, I've set "One or more RemoteApp sources" and I've added two servers there, separated by a semicolon (eg RDServer1;RDServer2), and as expected a long list of RemoteApps hosted on both servers is shown .  The
issue is that whatever server is listed second (eg RDServer2) won't allow sso to work right  -- when I click a link for a RemoteApp hosted on RDServer1 I am not prompted again for login credentials.  However, when clicking a link for a RemoteApp
hosted on RDServer2 I am prompted "Enter Your Credentials".  I've tried swapping the order of the "Source Name" servers, and after a reboot indeed links to the RemoteApps hosted on that second server now prompt for me to "Enter your credentials".
    Things I've tried:
    1. Trying various server name formats (IP address, NetBIOS name, FQDN, and more) to no apparent effect.
    2. Applied the hotfix from KB2524668 to both servers.
    3. Flushed the IE caches for the client machines.
    4.  Tried various AD login accounts
    5. Ensuring that the RD Web Access server is added to the local group "TS Web Access Computers" on both servers.
This is one step that I'm not 100% sure of -- it is clear to me that the RD Session host server that doesn't contain RD Web access should be there, but I'm not totally clear as to whether the dual-duty RD Web server/RD Session host should have this setting.
I've tried it both ways, but it doesn't seem to make a difference.
    I'm stumped.

    Kevin,
That's it!  I have a separate SSL cert for each RD Session Host, and used the corresponding certs to sign RemoteApps for each.  I still don't see this requirement in the documentation (although they do mention exporting self-signed certs, but that
is due to the fact that they are self-signed and not automatically trusted by client machines), but maybe I'm just blind.
Regardless, the fix to my problem was to export the cert from my RDServer1, import it to RDServer2, then set RDServer2 to use that cert to sign the RemoteApp connections.
Thanks for your assistance, I was really stuck.

  • Change of document type to KR

    Hi  Guru
I am new to Travel Management.  I have got a query in Support project
While posting Amex expenses to the vendor account the client thinks it is posting to wrong document type  AB,  he  needs it to be   KR.
So my question is how can i configure or define document type  KR so that while posting Amex card expns it will take KR as  document type.
Maybe there can be upload file also through which the the data for amex card is loaded.
For time being can anybody tell me how to assign KR as document type and where to do this..
    Thanks & Regards
    Vishwaas K

Indeed for RPRFIN00-40 (PRFI) the default type was hard coded as AB but with the note 1340977 a correction was added so the document type could be changed.
Basically you need to check the parameter DOCTYPE_PRFI in the view TA20SWITCH as well as making that change.
    Hope it helps

  • New option to open custom Excel content type in Excel Web Access

    Hi,
This question is specifically for Sharepoint Online if that affects the possible solution.
I would like a custom content type with Excel template to open up in Excel Web Access when a library's New>"My Content Type" option is chosen.  I have configured the content type (deriving from "Document"), pointed it to the spreadsheet
template I've uploaded, added the content type to the library and set the library to "Open documents in the browser".
However when I choose the new option for the content type it always opens it in the Excel desktop client.  If I then save the document to the library, then it does view and edit in Excel Web App after that.
Is there any way for the initial "New" Excel document to start editing in Excel Web App?
    Thanks in advance,
    Peter

Make sure Office 2011 is fully updated. It shouldn't have a problem opening those documents.
When I open a 97 - 2004 workbook, it states that it needs to be converted. That may be what is crashing on your copy of Office.
Have you tried creating a new account and see if you can open them there.

  • Unable to type from keyboard consistently in FF when certain sites are open (Lotus Domino Web Access)

When I use FireFox to Open Lotus Domino Web Access after a few minute the browser will not allow me type consistently. This happened before around version 13 or 14 but went away. The mouse works perfectly except when clicking on window to open new tab.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled current version 16.0.2
I have uninstalled, reinstalled earlier version 14
I have started in Safe Mode
I have disabled all add-ins except for "Remote XUL Manager" which is necessary for Lotus Domino Web Access.
I force closed using Task Manger and restart and it will work for a few minutes then start the same issue. I can not type "letter by letter" , if I hold a "letter" key down it will repeat the letter albeit at a slower pace.
Unfortunately I installed Windows 8 which has IE10 (which cannot access Web Mail at all) so I have resorted to typing in a word document and pasting into emails within Lotus just to function.
The site is not accessible for outside testing as it occurs post log in to site.

Now, when I remove the parts that http://docs.sun.com/app/docs/doc/819-3201/6n5eht3k4?a=view said to add, it deploys just like it used to deploy- just fine with no errors. However, I add that code and it breaks.
Note: The code was a straight copy/paste, so if there is any error in the code, it is because it's written incorrectly on the Sun doc website.
Any help would be MUCH appreciated. Thanks!

Well, if that was pasted on one line, it would be:
    xsi:schemaLocation="http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee http://java.sun.com/xml/ns/j2ee/web-app_2_4.xsd"
So it's supposed to be that way. I just tried it with the extra quotes, and no dice...

  • "Document type" in access sequence  not working in free goods

    Dear All,
our requirement is to provide free goods with the main items in portal.
    for this i defined access sequence 1.Customer/Material and 2. SalesOrg/Documnet Type/Material.
for access sequence Customer/Material  it's working fine but when i use SalesOrg/Documnet Type/Material it's not working.
problem is that when i use Document type in access sequence it's not working.
    pls help.
    Radhashyam Sahoo

    Hi Apoorva!
What do you mean with "Access Sequence"?
In CRM 7.0 EHP1 there is a generic framework-feature available which allows the defininition of the tab-order.

  • What are the drawbacks to adding a Site Content Type to the Document Site Column?

I have a client who has enough SharePoint knowledge to be dangerous.
They are requesting that a Column be added to all Document Libraries everywhere.  We built a solution that would require a bit of work when a Site Collection is created, and it would require that we run a script to identify if there are any Libraries
that do not have this Column attached.
This client wants to know why we didn't just add this Column to the default Document Site Content Type.  I don't know specifics as to why that's not a good idea, just that it's not a good idea.
Can anyone point me to a resource that identifies the reasons why this is not recommended?
    Thank you

I'd say there's a risk that patches or upgrades could be affected by this, or overwrite the change.
In the past I've derived a Company specific Document Content Type from the Base Document CT, and added any new company wide columns to that new CT.

  • How to rename content type on web site level and underneath all the document libraries using powershell?

    Hello
I wantto rename content type on web site level and underneath all the document libraries using powershell, please let me know how can do this?
    I saw this url
http://suryapulipati.blogspot.in/2011/08/rename-content-type-name-in-list-using.html, but I want to change everything from Web Site, subsite and underneath document libraries. Because if you try to change on any on document library, it will be applicable
for that document library, if you change on web level then underneath document libraries content type names not updated automatically.
    Please advise

    Not sure with powershell.
I could help you out with Server Side or Web Services though.

I keep getting this message when trying to open documents from the web:
    "Adobe Acrobat is blocked" -
Where to I accept the end user agreement which will enable me to access Pdf documents on the web?
The Adobe website recommends this: (did not solve the problem)
Safari 7 and 6.1 block PDFs | Acrobat, Reader
Thanks for any help solving this annoying problem!
    OSX 10.9.3
    Safari 7.0.4
    Acrobat Pro 11.0.0

    Hello Isakten:
Thanks so much for your reply!
I already have Adobe Reader 11.0.7 and Adobe Acrobat Pro 9 installed.
Following your instructions, I then selected Reader as the desired Adobe product to open all PDFs. and save that choice. Still no difference, the same black screen and statement about the EULA shows up…
    http://www.nhgastro.net/patients.html
BTW, this is the website that I was accessing……note the link to download and print the pdf which triggers the EULA page.
and also downloaded the latest version of Reader via their link….but to no success…..
This all started by itself months ago, I did no newer installs or settings changes, none……
    Any other thoughts?
    Thanks so much,

  • Document TYPE DA is adding 180 days to payment terms in fbl5n

    Hi,
In transaction code fbl5n , with document type DA system is adding 180 day + payment terms days in net due date. But we want only payment term days in addition for net due date excluding 180 days with document type DA.
    How we can do that.
    Regards,
    Praveen

    Hi Praveen,
For the time being you can edit the base line date for this document and adjust according to your requirement.
And secondly, double click on the questioned customer line item and check which payment term is used in the line item.
Then in OBB8, choose that payment term and remove value in additional months field.
There must be value "6" in that field.
SAVE and move the transport request to your production environment.
Nest time onwards, this will work according to your requirement only.

  • Ultra Search Indexer: Adding 'alien' document types.

The way the Ultra Search indexer finds src material will not work in my situation. While I may be able to give it databases to crawl, it cannot crawl our content, so the way that you tell the indexer about 'alien' document types by adding custom code to return lists of URLs so the indexer can read the src documents won't work in my scenario.
I want to know what the Ultra Search application does special when indexing documents?
Is there a description so I can reproduce using Oracle Text and perhaps point the Ultra Search querying component against my manufactured repository and have it work?
    Thanks.

Is there a way to set up finder search with additional criteria so that it isolates file extensions with .docx, .pdf, .txt all in one single search?
currently the "kind is document" also brings up .jpgs and .wavs which I dont want, (or consider documents).
