Adding Panel To Frame Stops MouseListener Working

Hi All,
I have a Frame object to which I add a custom MouseListener called TileClickListener which extends MouseAdapter and overrides mouseReleased. I also have a Panel called m_Panel. I register the listener and add the panel like so;
addMouseListener(new TileClickListener());
add(m_Panel);
However when I run my app, clicking the mouse should output some logging text "mouse", but it does not appear. For some reason the listener is not picking up mouseReleased events.
Now, when I comment out adding the Panel it works!
addMouseListener(new TileClickListener());
//add(m_Panel);
m_Panel is an object that extends Panel and overrides the paint method.

This is because when you add Panel to Frame Panel window lays over Frame and covers it completely so when you click on it it receives mouse events instead of Frame. This is how it should work because Panel is heavyweight component.
In contrary, JPanel is a lightweight component and if it doesn't have mouse event listeners mouse events will be automatically dispathed up the parent hierarchy until either heavyweight component or component with listener.

InDesign auto-size frame feature not working in real time in InCopy why?

We have just recently migrated from InCopy CS4 to CS6 to take advantage of the new features like the auto resize frame option, however it now seems that this feature is not working in real-time.
Basically the steps are needed to be complete before it auto-resizes the frame in InCopy, we use both layout and assignment based workflows:
1. From an ID document ('doc1'), exported a 'layer' to IC, certain frames are set to auto-size in height using the text frame options. So that editorial can review and make changes to text and the frame should resize according to the specifications set. IC stories are saved to a folder located in a content folder inside the top issue working folder.
2. Editorial opens the IC software, then opens the ID 'doc1'. Check’s out correct .icml file and makes edits to frame with auto resize.
3. Frame does not resize according to text frame set options and InCopy file does not respond in same fashion as InDesign.
4. Change only occurs when InCopy file is closed and updated in InDesign, which is frustrating as this feature would save huge amounts of time serving editorial requests.
Has anybody experienced this type of workflow problem? If anyone can provide mw with some pointers as to what can I do to get this to update in real time perhaps run a script? Update file in InCopy and refresh I will very much appreciate their assistance. I have run out of ideas.

We've had all sorts of problems with this feature as it should've worked straight out of the box but after some testing we have found that its something to do with the way you open the actual file in InCopy. Which is far from ideal and should have been UAT by Adobe before release.
This will not work consistently work if you open the designed .indd or .icma file in InCopy using the file open command within the application.
If you need this to work, the InCopy user has to open the .indd or .icma file by dragging and droping from OS windows explorer into InCopy, we use Windows 7 acrros all the teams. Check out .icml files add text changes to the set auto resized frames, this process will expand/collapse the frames to fit the content but as you have to use the drag and drop method to open the .indd and .icma file, 2 users cannot access the same time doc at the same time (a serious flaw in the programming architecture!) which stops people working in parallel. Save changes, check in .icml content and close .indd or .icma.
However the flaw comes in if you then open the .indd and .icma file in InCopy using the file open command within the application, before an InDesign user opens and saves the file (updates the design). The corrections added in the previous stage above, will not show the frames expanded/collapsed to take in the added text and instead show over matter???? The only way around this is to ask an InDesign user to open, update and save the design that way the InCopy user will see the same result no matter what file open method they use.
Another suggestion is to design the page to have some of the auto resize frames anchored within main body of text and that way the frames will expland/collapse when checking out and editing the content. However, this does cause issues with InDesign crashing etc. so we have tried to stop this method within the working group.

As far as we can see this is a major flaw in how the application(s) work, we have an enterprise agreement with Adobe and purchase a large volume of Adobe products globally but so far the technical support team are unable to find a solution to this and I'm not hopeful of any resolution soon even with the new release of Adobe CC.

Quicktime start & Stop not working in Inspector.

I drag an MPEG4 file to Keynote 09 (5.1) as soundtrack. I click onto Quicktime to use just a snippet of the song, but it is not available....I can only use the entire song.
How can I fix this?
Also, can I adjust the volume from slide to slide? or does the volume need to be the same throughout the usage of that audio file?

b4 the first stop.. see if it is skipping over it. ... it shouldn't
do this..but it might because of loading over with

Stop() not working in presentation slide

I have a very simple stop() action in my first and last
frames of a slide that is under the master slide. No other code.
The oddest thing is that the first stop() does not work, though,
the last stop() action does work. I figured this is something to do
with Flash Presentation type documents so I created a normal Flash
document and sure enough the first frame stop() action does work. I
even created a freshly new Flash Presentation document type and
same effect of first frame action not working. Any ideas why this
is happening to Presentation type documents?

Hello. I don't know why Windonws stops itune working when importing music.
I considered what cause to do that,but I can't find out. Icould put music into ipod classic the day before yesterday. Now I can't.

There's a bug with 10.1.0.54 that is causing "iTunes has stopped working messages" (citing CoreAudioToolbox.dll in the Problem Reports for the error) for some folks when importing CDs with the AAC encoding, adding/converting files to AAC, and in some cases syncing devices (when the convert to 128 kbps AAC option is enabled).
Short of rolling back your iTunes to 10.0.1.22 and your Apple Application Support to 1.3.2 (CoreAudioToolbox.dll is kept in the Apple Application Support program files), there's a few possible workarounds.
(1) Change your importing prefs to use a different encoding (won't help with the device syncing variation though), and/or disable the convert to 128 kbps AAC when syncing option.
(2) Replace your CoreAudioToolbox.dll version 7.9.4.0 with a 7.9.3.0 as per:

Premiere pro cs4 is adding an extra frame to my sequences

Premiere Pro CS4 is adding an extra frame to my sequences so that when I import them into Encore an extra, black frame plays at the end. In the program monitor my sequences stop at the frame I have set the sequence to end at but the counter on the bottom right of the program monitor shows that an extra frame has been added. This duration, not the duration I have set for my sequence, is what Premiere Pro is importing into Encore. I have spoken to Adobe technical help and the representative was having the same issue but she could not resove it. Help! Thank you!

For various reasons, I always add Black Video to the end of my Sequences, to allow for any extra Audio Units. As I also Export DD 5.1 SS, I allow 02 sec. of Black Video at the beginning, to allow set-top players time to "lock onto" the DD 5.1 SS Audio Track. Many high-end units require this extra time at the beginning, too.

Buttons after stop(); wont work; how can I FIX this

Buttons after stop code (vidPlayer.stop();) wont work.
I figured out the stop code needed to stop my videos from playing when you click another button, but with my stop code being on top of my "gotandStop("label")" my buttons doesn't perform that function. I take the vidPlayer.stop(); off the buttons the buttons work fine, but then my videos wont stop playing when I click another button. Help, how I can get my buttons back working and still stop my videos from continuely playing when another button is clicked.
Below is my code:

With the code exactly the way it is; when I like on the services button it wont work (unles I start from the about btn, which houses the vidPlayer) I want to beable to go into my website and click any button and it work, not go to the about button first an then to any other button. Having problems with effects and having to unlock panels to get them to work?

I am having problems getting panels to work... the scrolling function is locked.... but when I undock the panel so it floats freely the scrolling function comes back--this happens with the effects and project panels (prbably others as well).... then sometimes they will stop working and I have to redock the panel to get it to work! This is a real problem at the moment. When I put a video effect on a clip on the timeline the down arrow will not function... so I can open up the effect and make the settings I want. I have a .3pg file from a camera phone that needs to be rotated!
I am running CS4 with Matrox card. By next week I will be upgrading to CS5... but my computer needs to upgraded...will be doing this next Tuesday.
My comuter properties are as follows Intel Core 2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.4GHz 2.39GHz, 8 GB RAM, 64-bit operating system

Okay... so I closed Premiere and restarted it.... no the down arrows work... but there is a pregnant pause before the effects function opens or when I close it there is a pause. Not sure why1 This isn't heavy intensive stuff I am doing.

Exchange connection suddenly stopped to work

Please help - I'm in deep s...t
Today morning, out of the sudden Exchange connection stopped to work. All I see is "Cannot Get Mail. The connection to the server failed" message immediately after I go to my mailbox. The problem came out today morning, the last message I received is from 12:37 and that is reflected in Exchange logs. Here are some crucial points:
1. Exchange connection works on my Mac, my PC, my friend's iPhone, etc. The problem occurs only on that particular iPhone
2. I've asked administrator to restart all the exchange services and the whole server - no improvement, also my iphone was restarted couple of times
3. The message appears the same time I go to the mailbox, no connection try, no timeout, no visible action. There are no traces of connection try on the server side
4. I deleted that account from the iphone and added again - when I typed in server name, domain, username and password, upon verification I got all ticks meaning that connection and credentials are OK
What should I do? I got huge problem, because as the result of below, I do not have mailbox access, no calendar, but the worst is that I've lost my contacts as well, and that is **** of the problem.
Any help, suggestions appreciated.

Rollover frames will not work

I had many pages of our company's website set up to have a white frame appear when you rollover selected images. I did this using CSS and the behaviors panel. This method worked well for both the local and remote versions. I noticed lately that the remote version is no longer working, but the local version works just fine. I have tried modifying pages and synchronizing but nothing seems to work. The only change that I can think of is that I am administering the website from a different computer now. Any theory as to why the frames no longer work on the remote version of our website. The remote version is the important one because that is the one on the web.

I really don't understand your comments regarding cleaning-up the CSS. I do most all work from within the design view and I don't do direct code editing very often.
Do you drive a car without regularly checking the oil, coolant and tire pressure? I hope not. Working in Code View is essentially the same as looking under the hood of your car. You need to do it, and you should do it regularly.

Adding panels to scrollpane

I want to include panels dynamically into the scroll pane. Which layout should I select for this ? I read that for scroll panes, only ScrollPaneLayout can be used, but it does not work for my application. Can anyone tell me please how do I add the panels to it ? The code I m using is as follows:

Make an intermediate panel:
JPanel intermediate = new JPanel();
scrollPane.setViewportView(intermediate);and then:
intermediate.add(panel1);
intermediate.add(panel2);The layout for the intermediate panel could be a GridLayout, GridBagLayout or a GroupLayout. Depending on how the added panels have to behave.

Every time that I tried to open it, in diagnostic and use create some files, in special one named LatestCrash-WifiSurvey.plist, this one generate an incident identifier E73B0164-CDFA-4E9E-839E-A0C021BD17A2, but this incident identifier change every time that I tried to open, the last incident identifier is: DE600EB3-AB57-4C33-8DE8-71F6788A7441.
After of it, I checked that the app had a new version available for downloading, I took a backup of my ipad and then upgrade this app, but is the same problem, all I want is to save the projects I had in this app, I´m afraid that if I delete this app and re-install it, probably I loss my projects.
Thanks for your help indicating how I can save my projects and see them for example in an iphone for assurance that data is not lost.
Something that called my attention is part of the log that shows a big CPU processing, but the strange thing is I killed all applications.

I can see the server, I can choose the drive, but when try to open a folder the message on Finder is: You don't have permissions to see the content.
I already delete the key and try to connect again, but the problem persist. Already try change the ip from file server. Already try differents users. (admin, guest, etc...)
I have a windows server 2008 and a NAS working with SMB protocol. Both with the same problem.
That problem occurs only on Finder, if I try see the folder by Terminal, is possible to see my files.
Any Solution ?

Not knowing how much RAM is installed in your iMac, your iMac can take a total of 8 GBs of RAM.
Before upgrading to Mountain Lion, I would strongly suggest installing the maximum 8 GBs of RAM.

You can purchase and download OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion from the Mac App Store in the OS X dock.
Before installing, it would be prudent to make a backup copy of all of your important data or your entire current system. Either using, optical discs, USB flash drives or external hard drives.
This is too insure protection of your data in case something goes wrong with the install of OS X Mountain Lion.

Basic Troubleshooting Steps when all else fails
- Quit the App by opening multi-tasking bar, and swiping the App upward to make it disappear. (For iOS 6 older, hold down the icon for the App for about 3-5 seconds, and then tap the red circle with the white minus sign.)
- Relaunch the App and try again.
- Restart the device. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430
- Reset the device. (Same article as above.)
- Reset All Settings (Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings)
- Restore from backup. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1766 (If you don't have a backup, make one now, then skip to the next step.)
- Restore as new device. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4137 For this step, do not re-download ANYTHING, and do not sign into your Apple ID.
- Test the issue after each step. If the last one does not resolve the issue, it is likely a hardware problem.
