Adding skin to SkinnableContainer disables drag/drop ability.

I'm having a bit of a problem with a SkinnableContainer. The code defining the SkinnableContainer looks like:

If I add styleName="DropboxSkin" to the skinnablecontainer (actionContainer1), then it appears that my dragEnterHandler refuses to accept the drag source. Is there any reason this might be occurring? Removing it returns the functionality back to how it was and the drag source is accepted.

With Pages you can add text and then drag and drop photos from iPhoto to wherever you want and resize just by clicking on the photo and dragging a corner:
The text wrap is automatic so you just move the photo to get the wrap effect you want.
You can save the document as a PDF file for printing.

Random NAME folder, and loss od Drag&Drop ability

My company currently has several MacPros hooked up to an Xserve. There are a few random computers who, while clicking on a folder in the Xserve, see a folder inside called "NAME" along with the other documents or folders that are supposed to be in there. When clicking on that main folder they want, they cannot drag it to the desktop of their computer.
The only work-arounds are to Copy (Apple +C) the folder and Paste (Apple + V) the folder to the desktop, or to change the finder view from Columns View to List or Icon View.
Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I have a similar problem, I have a xserve with an Active RAID attached sometimes when I connect to the sharepoint a folder appears at the top called NAME but you can't do anything with it?? i would then revisit the sharepoint at some tim and it would dissapear, this is really puzzling???????

Drag&Drop from Lightroom to Premiere doesn't work! Programming an alternative?

Unfortunally the is no working Drag&Drop ability to drag a videofile from the Lightroom Library into the Premiere Project View.
(This Problem appears only on a Windows machine not on Mac)
This is becaus if you send a (valid) filepath to "Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" as a parameter it doesn't do anything! Why that?!?!?
It makes no difference if you drop a file on "Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" or if you use the windows command shell like "C:/...<path to premiere>.../Adobe Premiere Pro.exe" "myfile.avi" , simply nothing happens - at least with Premiere Pro CS5...
So the Idea is to build an Lightroom Plug-In, that opens an exe-file with the filepaths of the currently selected Viedeos from the Lightroom Library as parameter.
The exe-file should pass the information to an opened Project in Premiere an load the Videos into the Project.
With ExtendScript Tool i can get this behaviour with this code:

I don't think that the Premiere SDK will help me out, because with that I can only build Plug-Ins that work INSIDE Premiere. I need a Executable that can send information/files to Premiere from Outside. The only thing I can think of is to load the right dll-file and call the function() for importing files to Premiere (I think this is what ExtendScript Tool does ), but I don't know how to start, because nothing is documented about the dlls...

According to your post, my understanding is that you want to disable drag and drop feature for a document library.
Drag and drop in SharePoint 2013 is a feature that depends on HTML5, which requires version of browser, SharePoint by default doesn’t has feature to disable or enable this.
You can try disabling the drag and drop feature by disabling an add-on in Internet Explorer, or
using Internet Explorer 9 or lower.

How to disable drag-and-drop tabs to search bar?

I always have a lot of tabs open in Firefox, and oftentimes I move tabs around, whether intentionally or habitually (and accidentally). The problem is that a lot of times the tab is dragged on/near the search bar and this causes Firefox to respond by copying the tab's address to the search and start searching.
I would like to disable one or both of these. I never use this, especially since whatever address I'm at is already found and if I actually wanted to search for it then I would just copy it and search myself. I want to disable the auto search and if possible, also disable copying the address.

No; as I said, my problem is tabs and the search bar. I drag tabs into new windows practically everyday and the other doesn't seem to have anything related to this either. I only read the description and looked at the pictures and etc, so I did not download it to give it a thorough review prior to declining it as it doesn't seem at all related.
Curious:
Does that ghacks thing also disable the tab-search thing in addition to disabling new windows, or did you just post a completely different tab-drag-drop related issue?

Drag & Drop with Fdev6iR2 on Linux / Adding object to an object group

I experienced a very annoying bug in Forms Developer 6i Release II for Linux when I tried to add a Object to an Object group.
The drag & drop simply doesn't work and there seems to be no way to work around this.
Has anybody an idea whether there's another way to add an object to an objectgroup or what could cause this error?
I'm using KDE 1.1.2-48 on XFree86 4.0.1-1 with Motif WM 1.2.4-3glibc installed, maybe this helps one of you...

Urgent! Adobe killed drag/dropping workflow in CC. Help restore it!

I posted this first FR at the end of another thread, here. Due to the importance of this issue, IMO, I'm giving this FR a new thread, plus adding as second version of the same FR.
My stance is simple. Every change Adobe makes to Premiere Pro should be positive to most or all people. If a change Adobe makes is negative for most or all people, then it must be removed.
Adobe did a negative change in CC, which brings about zero positive improvements (unless proven otherwise which has not been done yet).
In CC, drag-dropping clips no longer = dropping what you're dragging! If you only have a video track source patched, audio doesn't get dragged to the Timeline. If you only have an audio track source patched, video doesn't get dragged to the Timeline.
This is contrary to the way it worked in CS6 (where it made sense): drag drop clip = same clip dropped, regardless of Timeline settings!
Please help fix this by sending the following FRs as your own or writing a FR of your own based on this new problem Adobe introduced in CC. Thank you and God bless all those that care enough about Premiere to take action!
VERSION 1 (revert back to CS6)

No drag&drop features in HTML5

Do you know if the drag&drop feature that I know from the Silverlight version of C4C (may release) is available in the HTML5 version.
It could be used for adding employees or products to objects like opportunities or leads. Right now it seems to be disabled in august release.

I deleted the "desktop" in tiger, can't "alias", "copy" or "drag & drop" anything to it now, I get a message that "desktop can not be changed"

I was trying to make an alias of "SAFARI" icon to have on the desktop & in the dock as well, I managed to make the safari icon appear on the desktop, but when I wanted to switch from firefox to safari it wouldn't open / start safari, so OK, no big deal, I moved it the trash, ( by rt. click,>move to trash>click ) the horror starts here, everything on the desktop disappeared into the trash !!!!! ......
So I have tried to "drag & drop", "alias", "copy", "duplicate" to get things back out of the trash, but every attempt is met with a message "the desktop con not be changed", and whatever I try to bring anything out of the trash window, it gets a "minus - sign" added to it when it crosses over the edge of the trash window, and of course it jumps right back into the trash when the mouse button is released.
I think (barely) I will need the do a "clean install", or a "restore" from the install DVD to restore / get the desktop back.
And while the only thing on the desktop now is the HDD icon, clicking it open does not show the desktop in the Lf. column of the window where it should be, or any OS X folders when clicking on anything, but the OS is is running for this post and yahoo, etc., and there is a upward facing arrow next to the "network" name in the left column, that doesn't go away, like after installing some software, this is weird !!

What did you do? This looks like a terminal command.
Or, did you click on the safari icon then right click on the safari icon then click on open?
I do not understand how you that moving to the trash would be helpful.
I suspect disk corruptions.
I run disk utility verify the file system on your starup disk. See below.

How to run disk utility from your startup DVD.
Insert your startup DVD into your reader. Power down your machine. Hold down to the c key. Power on your machine. This will bootup your startup DVD.
This will bring you to a panel asking you for your language. Pick your language.
You you come to the Install Mac OS panel. Do not install.
Click on Utilities menu item. This will give you a pulldown list of utilities.
Click on the disk utility.
You are now in disk utility. Pick your disk. Click on repair it should be on the lower right of the panel.
Once the repair completes successfully, you should update your permissions.
Verify a disk
As an alternative, you can verify that the filesystem on the disk is correct. You will not be able to repair the file system.
I suggest that you use disk utility to verify that your startup disk is OK. Macintosh-HD -> Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility Start up disk utility. On the left pane view, you will see a list of all your disks. click on your startup disk. Click on the First Aid Tab. Click on verify. Hopefully your disk will verify. If not, you have to boot from your installation DVD and run Disk First Aid from there to attempt to repair your file-system.
