Adding subaccounts to sbcblobal email

Can't add subaccount to sbcglobal. Main account ok Takes all info for subaccount but goes into a loop when i try to add outgoing server info. Yes I've deleted everything, Manually added all info with the help of the folks at att. Still won't get past the last outgoing server step

Please clarify with further info. Are these additional email addresses already set with your provider, and for which you are trying to add one new account for each email address?
In the primary account, has your Username been appended to the name of the SMTP -- if you've named the Outgoing Server something other than its full name, you may have to check this by clicking on the arrows beside the name of the Outgoing Server box.

new account are created without a password, so asking for it is normal.

Adding Subaccounts to Email

I spent over an hour on the phone with tech support trying to set up a subaccout on email for my daughter. The system would not save my data last night. Guess what? The system will still not save the data today! I suggest that Verizon fix this issue and that they not allow customers to get off of the phone until the issue is fixed. OR...they could give customers a foolow-up call to see if they were able to fix their issue. Customer service would be nice after paying a fat Verizon bill each month. I am so tired of Verizon Fios. I wish I had never changed. I know....I can change companies. Yet, it is so time-consuming to do that. While I'm venting, I'd like to say that I loathe automatic systems that do not allow you to choose speaking to a person right away. It's like being held hostage when you need help. There. Done.

Special characters added in offline approval email

Hi all,
We are on SRM 5.0 SP13 ,ECS
We are facing an issue with the outbound emails sent out from SRM system for offline approval for both shopping carts and PO.
In the main body of the email,some some special characters like ^A are being added at the start of each line.
We have been observing this issue lately after the upgrade of our mail server.
Has anbody come across such an issue in SRM 5.0??Please advise /share your solution/provid some insights.

Adding attachments to an email

Does anyone know of any application or when Apple will allow attachments to be added to emails? I am starting to enjoy my iPhone but in order to use it for business I have to be able to attach documents to emails. Right now, as I know, we can only add 1 (One) picture to an email and to do that you must start from the picture roll not from the email itself. Any help0 here is appreciated.

When you are on the go as a business user, forwarding an email does not do the trick. Imagine you are at an Airport about to get on a 20hr flight and you get an email from one of your clients asking for the technical Specs of one of the products your company produces. You may have that document right there in your phone (there are apps that allow you to transfer docs into the iPhone using WebDav) but you will not be able to reply to your customer with the document, your only option would be opening your laptop, if you still have time before your flight and send it, or call your assistant and ask him/her to do the task for you totally defeating the idea of mobility for business.
Soes this make sense?

Adding an extra bt email addy

In the instructions it says
primary account hholder to log into my bt
Click on extras at the bottom
click on BT Mail
Email addresses are listed then click on ''create new email ''
When I click on BT Mail it only lists the primary email addy and not the other two email addys which were added and theres no ''create new email button''
Under the primary email addy I have another heading which says
Add bt email to your BT ID is that where I create a new email address or is that where I should add the other 2 email sub accounts to my BT ID

Are you a new BT customer or has your BTYahoo account been migrated to BTMail?
If you are still on BTYahoo you may not see the options to create new mail etc.
If you are on BTMail, when you log onto MyBT and go to Manage BTMail, you should see all the primary email address and any sub-accounts that have been created from that address. You can create 11 email addresses. There should be a button to create new email addresses.
If there is no button and the other addresses are not showing you may have a problem.
You can either create a MyBT for each of the sub accounts or you can link them to your MyBT. If you give them their own MyBT you will be able to manage and access them from there and you will not be able to access them from yor primary email address.
If you link them to your MyBT you can manage and acces them from there and they will show in your primary email account email address drop down box.

Adding Google calendar after email add

I find this particularly annoying...
I had to reset my phone and on adding back the accounts added my gmail account, then spent hours hunting around for the option to add the calendar without success. I remembered I had done this previously without problem but forgot how I had done it.
Then in desperation I deleted the account and added gmail the automatic way (i.e. just typing in the email address from the first screen) and low and behold the calendar options appeared.
Why isn't the option there when you add manually (unless in the 2 hours I spent, I missed the obvious)???

Recent BlackBerry 10 convert (from guess what)

when you use the easy configuration, the Z10 will understand that one account stands for three (email + contacts + calendar) with the same credentials, but three different servers.
when you use the Advanced configuration system, you have to specify explicitly the URL for each server.
So if you want to add a specific calendar from a GMail account, you must fetch the exact URL of that calendar (in the options of the Google Calendar web interface) and input that on your Z10.
This is very useful for example for people who have several calendars on their GMail account.

I have a situation where i need to add a text-box inside a email, i added a html text-box in to the email.
If i open the mail in the web browser then the text-box is working fine but when i open the mail in outlook then the text-box come like "[ ]"
i need to make this text box editable so that i can add some values to the text-box
and is there any way to take the value from the text-box and pass it into a page

TS3899 Any idea why my ntlworld(Virgin) emails have stopped arriving on my iPad Mini? When first added I got 18000+ emails copied over (probably every one I ever got on the desktop!) & got emails daily, but it just stopped. Flags up can't connect..desktop

If you have your first baby after 35, you're an elderly prima gravidas; well I'm a proper elderly prima iPad user....when I first added my email account to my wonderful new iPad Mini it all seemed so simple. I had over 18,000 emails immediately on the iPad (probably eberything ever received on desktop) and was receiving emails daily (most but not all that arrived on desktop) but its just stopped. No emails at all. When I go to Mail, it flags up "The mail server 'imap.ntlworld.com' is not responding. Verify that you have entered the correct account into Mail settings."
I haven't changed anything from when it worked fine....I've sent a query to Virgin Media too.
Internet's fine. Frustrating. Thanks for any help. (I tried to do Apple support on iPad but of course they want to email me on device...)

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

How do I stop Thunderbird from adding adresses from incoming emails

I don't want Thunderbird to automatically add email addresses to my personal address book.
Also, when creating or forwarding email, how can I use my personal address book?

Could it be your clicking on show remote content and selecting "show remote content for this sender"? Hence adding the sender to your address book with the show remote content flag set and blaming Thunderbird for collecting the addresses?

Trouble adding a second pop3 email account to iMac

getting my new iMac. Added gmail email account fine but I can't not add a second pop3 comcast account. Keeps asking for pwd and will not store in the account profile.

If you are having difficulty adding a 2nd email account through the Mail app, try it through the System Preferences, Internet Accounts. Of course, please verify your password is correct.
This article shows as OS X Mavericks but it is the same for Yosemite.

Versamail adding message header to emails

When I send an email from my versamail account it adds on additional header information to the email body and puts my original message at the bottom of the email. Does this happen to everyone else and can I somehow stop this from happening?

I'm not really sure whether it is the e-mail client (Versamail) itself or the smtp server which adds this part of information to the mails. Maybe someone in the forum has profound knowledge about this. Fact is that every mail server on the road to the recipient is adding a bit of information, to track the way the mail took.
It is however not normal that this information is added to the body of the mail. It has to appear in the header part. In my Versamail, this information is not shown at all. On workstation email clients (like Thunderbird, Outlook ...), you normally can choose to display the full headers, or just a reduced set of header info (Subject, Date, From, To, Cc ...).
The mails I send from my Versamail on Treo 680 look absolutely normal on the receiver's side. If in your mails these infos are really appearing in the body section, I guess that it's the smtp server which is adding this information, and maybe there is something badly configured on this server. Perhaps you can ask the technical support of your provider !?

I have trouble adding attachments to my emails in my yahoo-account - how do I fix this ? When I try the same files on a PC it does work...

Since a few days I am no longer able to attach certain files (ppt, pdf, jpeg) in my emails on my yahoo-account. I click the attach button, go to my file and select it - and then the signal keeps running and running, and the file doesn't attach. Sometines I get an error message, but not always. The files are not very big ones (3 or 4 MB) - well below the 25 MB that is the maximum. Some files do attach - I cannot figure out why the others don't.
When I use my husband's PC, I can attach the "problematic" files without any trouble. When I work with gmail on my Mac, again no problem.
I tried the help desk of yahoo, but they could not solve my problem up til now. Is this a Mac problem, or a yahoo-problem ? I don't know where to look for a solution, but at this point I am pretty desparate because I cannot work without both !
Has anyone a suggestion what I can do about this ?

Are there any dialog boxes popping up behind your Yahoo screen?
I have intermittent problems attaching files in Yahoo mail and this is usually the reason. I'm also using an iMac (10.7.3) and this is likely the problem.
It is generally a Yahoo issue rather than a Mac problem.
