ADF Block/Jam paper disappeared

I have an HP Office jet Pro 8600 plus, and was scanning an A5 piece of paper through the automatic document feeder for a double sided scan. The machine came up with fault saying paper jam in ADF, I looked to clear the jam but the paper seems to have disappeared. I have tried pushing it through with another piece of paper but nothing so far has worked. Can you help please. Thanks. H

I have a problem with my printer hp officejet 4630, it says there is jammed paper , but it is not jammed paper, and it still appering that message , I cannot print nothing, what is the problem?

I understand that you seem to be getting a false Paper Jam error on your HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to assist you today with resolving this error. Now, a couple of different things can cause Paper Jam errors. There may still be a tiny piece of ripped paper or debris within the paper path that is causing the error, that you may have missed when you checked for jams. There may also be a defect with the paper sensor that may have been caused by a paper jam or carriage jam issue. Can I please have you follow the steps below to resolve this issue.
To start troubleshooting can I please have you click here. When the support document opens please run through Solution one, and Solution two. This includes any sub-steps under the two listed Solutions. If you have already looked inside the printer for jams, please just review the instructions under Solution one to ensure that no areas have been missed. Pay close attention to Paper Path Cover Door area.

Printer MP480 - How do we reset printer for jammed paper when it is NOT jammed?

My printer is stuck on clear jammed paper message. But there is no jammed paper. How do I reset printer so I can proceed to print?

Since you have already verified that there are no paper jams in the printer, with a flashlight or other bright light, please check the paper feed area of the printer and verify that there are no other obstructions in the printer that may be causing the error. Once this has been done, please look inside of the printer where the inks are located and ensure that there are no obstructions in there that may be causing the print head not to move freely. Next, please remove and reseat all of the ink cartridges in the printer. Once all of these steps have been performed, if you still experience the same error, we can perform a roller cleaning on the printer to see if this will resolve the issue. To do this, please follow the steps located at the link below:
Performing a Roller Cleaning
If you still experience the same issue after performing at least three roller cleanings, the printer will require servicing. Please call or email us at one of the methods on the Contact Us page to obtain your servicing options.

Can't find the jammed paper in 2605nd printer

I accidently used jetprinter photo paper in my 2605 printer. It was a disaster. I tried to print a blank sheet of paper with a few characters of black, yellow, red and blue on regular paper to try to clear up any powder on the inside of the printer. I heard a loud scrunging sound. Now the printer says "Jam in output bin. Open door and Clear Jam". I looked in the manual and followed all the suggestions for all the types of paper jams, but cannot find any jammed paper. The message does not clear. Any suggestions?

ADF BC View Objects: Disappearing where clauses

Playing around with the 11g Technical Preview I find out that sometimes the where clauses - added to View Objects by means of the new "Join Type" field in the VO-editor UI - disappear.
I'm not able to reproduce exactly and "on demand", but it seems to happen when the sources of more than one View Object are open simultaneously and/or the XML definition of a View Object is edited directly on the Source-tab.

Today I succeeded in reproducing:
Two tables:
TAB_MASTER:
ID NUMBER NOT NULL
DESCRIPTION VARCHAR2 NOT NULL
TAB_DETAIL:
ID NUMBER NOT NULL
MASTER_ID NUMBER NOT NULL
DESCRIPTION VARCHAR2 NOT NULL
TAB_DETAIL.MASTER_ID is a foreign key referencing TAB_MASTER.ID.
Steps to reproduce:
1. Generate default ADF BC objects from database tables.
2. Open definition of TAB_DETAIL View Object.
3. Go to the Entity Objects tab
4. Add TAB_MASTER Entity Object to the Selected Entities Objects. Association and Join Type are filled in automatically.
5. Go to the Query tab and go to SQL tab in de Property Inspector. Where clause is filled.
6. Go to the Attributes tab and click Add from Entity...
7. Add TAB_MASTER.DESCRIPTION attribute.
8. Again, go to the Query tab and go to SQL tab in de Property Inspector. Where clause is still filled.
9. Go to the Attributes tab and select MASTER_ID attribute.
10. Click icon to add List Of Values
11. In List Of Values dialog add View Object TAB_MASTER and add the correct pairs of List Return Values for the ID and (MASTER) DESCRIPTION attributes.
12. After completing the List Of Values dialog go to the Query tab -> SQL tab again. The where clause added to join the Entity Objects (see step 5.) is cleared, resulting in a wrong SQL statement for the View Object.

Adf panel header facets disappear in internet explorer 8, 9

Hello!
I am using JDev&ADF 11.1.2.2 and my application works fine in Firefox 15.
However, when opening it in IE 8 or 9, I get a problem with panel header facets.
I have some jsff pages containing master-detail relationship with panel headers both in the master and the detail part.
Every page is based on a page template. Every panel header contains Text and Toolbar buttons.
In IE, when I try to change any attribute in the master table, Text and Toolbar disappear from the master panel header. I only can get them back if I refresh the page.
I do not get this error when not using master-detail relationship, i.e. when I put only one table per page.
I do not get this error in Firefox.

I test this issue, actually, in IE 11, the option "set as backgroud" is grayed out after I applied policy Administrative Templates > Control Panel > Personalization > Prevent changing desktop background, but seems not suitable for
other versions of IE.

ADF Table - Command buttons disappear when no rows returned for table

We have a command button that navigates to a create screen, when the table returns no rows the button disappears. We need to have this displayed always and within the ADF table. The code looks like:

Issue with Random Blocks of Audio disappearing from Timeline

I am having a problem with seemingly random blocks of audio tracks disappearing from my edit. I will be scrolling through somewhere I haven't worked on or even looked at, in a few hours or days, and I'll be missing chunks of audio. At first I thought I was just losing my mind, but I can see that transitions that I've tacked on at the ends to fade in/out are still there in their "storylines", just floating by themselves. Its almost like they were just straight up deleted by hand. But I know that I didn't do any such thing. So, what is going on? This isn't the first time its happened, and its impossible to know when it does, so I could end up losing hours of work reverting to a backup. But it is equally frustrating (slowly) flicking back and forth between two projects to copy the audio tracks back every few days. It also mostly seems to happen on audio with transitions/crossfades, but I have found a few places where it has just been reduced to 1 frame. Weird.
I am working on a fairly complex film about 45 minutes in length, with compound clips of synced interviews cut up in the "Main" storyline, then with action shots and info stacked on top, and some 1-3 minute music tracks and video-less narrations below. Working on a 5 month old MBP, 10.9.5, 16gb ram, everything's up to date
I just need this to stop happening is the main thing. What can I do about it? It is very frustrating that these bugs are still popping up all the time. Not a thing that should be expected from a "pro" application.

You could use the Provide Feedback command in the application to give feedback to Apple.

Using HP pavillion 22bw in extend mode with Dell laptop, sometimes my wall paper disappears.

Sometimes it disappears on the Pavillion monitor, sometimes on the laptop screen and sometimes both. I refresh the screen and it comes back although it may take a couple of tries.
Dell Inspiron 14R is brand new, running Windows 8.1 (unfortunately ...!), and HP Pavillion 22bw is brand new as well.
Driver problem for monitor? for display on Dell PC?

Since the wallpaper disappears on both the monitor and the notebook screens, I recommend following this document on Connecting a Monitor, Projector or TV (Windows 8). This should ensure that your monitor is configured for optimum performance. In addition, you can also find the best resolution for your display by referring to the Product Specifications Guide for your monitor.
To ensure that your drivers are configured accordingly, I recommend contacting Dell Support for help updating your graphics drivers.

FrameMaker 8 to PDF: disappearance of blocks of text disappear

Since updating to FrameMaker 8, have been unable to generate a usable PDF file. Blocks of text are missing from the PDF.
After "repairing" FrameMaker 8, able to generate accurate PDF file once or twice, then problem starts again.
Anyone know what this is all about?

Indirectly. The original link was to the thread in the Webx forums where this was discussed. ANY link prior to April 2009 to the old Adobeforums will not work. No provision was made in the Jive format forums for updating all of the existing links when the forums were migrated.

Front panel / Block diagram sometimes disappear

Hi, I am running LV7 on Windows XP. When I have a few windows open
with front panel and corresponding diagrams, some of those windows
disappear after being minimized or put in the background. When I try
to restore the window,Ctrl-E or task bar, only the function- and tool
palettes get focus.
This is very annoying! please help

My mac pro book is blocked /jammed, the OS start stays on the apple without end

Two days ago, I have stopped my mac book pro after 2 hours of synchro with a time capsule (clean session).
From this event, my mac is not start properly. It satsy in the system launch "white apple on the grey back" with the barrels wheel running
I'd like re boot my mac. But How do it?
I ve tried "cmd+s" at the start and 've seen message saying that ok and suugest to "exit" if i don't want to modify the file

First try to do a Safe Boot and see if it manages to start up. Hold down the Shift key prior to the startup chime, wait (a long time) till it starts. This will load JUST the OS, no non-Apple stuff. If it manages to get going, try to restart and see if the problem is solved. Safe Boot also clears all the system and user caches (why it takes so long) so if one is corrupted and impeding start, this may clear it out. Holler back with results.
