Adobe logo

Hello, I am having such a hard time figuring out how to change the adobe logo in presenter. I have followed this step by step: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/Presenter/7.0/WS6EB20748-9F92-46b9-88E3-6EF9F3CDD2F0.html
I am using:
Windows 7 x64
Office 2010 x32
Presenter 7.0.7
Flash CS 5.5
So in detail this is what I did:
Created a 47px x 27px swf for Flash Player 7 with ActionScript 2.0
Changed the name to "logo.swf" and moved it to "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Presenter 7\Templates"
Opened my PowerPoint presentation and published it
It then loads up in my browser still with the Adobe logo.
I've had it work prior to upgrading my computer, so I am miffed.

Thank you Jorma, so far both of my problems should be fixed in the next release. They should also include a queue manager for all the presentations that I'll have to republish.

  • Plugin: Seems to be a basic screen and a more elaborate one after clicking the adobe logo...

I use Adobe Acrobat 8.1.  I prefer to use the version 11 reader plugin.  There are two differing "screens".  1. comes up with the document and when you hover the mouse at the center bottom third of the screen, a dialogue appears allowing basic operations.  Clicking on the logo brings up a second screen which is more elaborate..  I would love to know what these screens are called in AdobeSpeak... Now...
After setting the adobe acrobat 8.1 as the system default, the reader plugin in chrome is still version 11.0.05.3 per the plugin section, however where before there were two screens available, the second screen appears and there seems no way to set it to the first simplier one.  No toggle to go back to it.
I am pretty certain that the plugin is not the one from 8.1.
I went into the general preferences and set the default to the adobe reader 11 and this gave me the simple first screen, once again.  For acrobat 8, I used folder options to make it the system default for .pdf files.  I use several programs that rely on the default system pdf program, 8.1 my choice, so this is important to me.
So I guess the relevant question is how, if I only see the more intricate second screen in google chrome, can I set it up so that the simple one with the hovering tool bar is available and not the more elaborate one that come up after clicking the Adobe Logo at the far right of the hovering tool bar?

...This is the hovering tool bar.  click the adobe icon on the right side and
    you get this...
click the diagonal double arrow head and you return.
However when 8.1 installs, the plugin says that its 11.0.05.3 but the
plugin which looks a lot like the the directly above is not exactly the same.
It is not 8.1 plugin, for sure.  The plugin list says its the 11.0.05.3  and its
not the chrome version.  There is no hovering tool bar when the doc first comes
up.  The question is how to revert a setup to be like the top two pics without
having the reader take over the default of the system through the preference
    -> general option.
This is not that important.  It just seems like the two photos above are
replaced by... a third which has sign in, tools and comment at the bottom of the
    screen.  A might strange.

  • How can I make sure under Windows 8 in Explorer to get a real pdf document content file miniature and not the Adobe logo miniature?

This is not a typical Windows 8 problem, I had the same problem with all my previous Acrobat versions on all previous Windows versions.
How can I make sure that when consulting pdf files via Windows explorer the pdf file is represented as a genuine miniature of the document content itself and noit just a document icon with Adobe logo?

    Hi Josialaers,
Turn the 'Preview Pane' ON and you should be able to see the content of the pdf when clicked.
When 'Show preview handlers in preview pane ON' is checked in 'Folder Options' of Windows Explorer.

  • Adobe logo not displaying on my web page

First I would apologise if I've posted this query on the wrong thread -though inadvertently.
I have a website on which I've uploaded pdf files of my own data. The link on the page works very well and opens the pdf file swiftly.
But my dilemma is that why isn't the Adobe logo being displayed alongside the link as I have seen on almost every link on other websites.
(1). How can I add an Adobe logo alongside the link to pdf file?
(2). What is the Adobe policy (if any) and terms for distributing/adding a download link for Acrobat Reader?
    Please advise!
    Thanks.

*Should there be an extra folder in my httpdocs wherein I should add my pdf

  • I recently downloaded the latest version of Adobe Reader and when I try to open a new pdf I get the Adobe logo and text in Japanese and the pdf doesn't open.  Any help would be appreciated.

I recently downloaded the latest version of Adobe Reader for my MacBook Air and now when I try to open a new pdf I get the Adobe logo and text in Japanese and nothing else.  The pdf doesn't open.  Any suggestions?  I never had this problem until my cache was cleared and I had to re-install Adobe Reader.  Any help would be appreciated.

Just to say I am having exactly the same issue on my MacBook Air.  I can't remember what I did but after this happened a few times, and once I had clicked on the Japanese pop up, I managed to do something that now means I get the pop up in English, saying 'Adobe Reader blocked for this website'.  When I click on it it asks me to trust the content and then I get a bar with the text in Japanese.  Eventually the pdf does open. However it's very irritating that I have to trust every pdf individually which I never had to do before the latest upgrade, and I don't understand why I get messages in Japanese.  I will be interested to see whatever answers other more technical people may provide!

  • Remove Adobe logo

    Need help replacing Adobe logo
    Hi Presenter gurus
I need to replace the Adobe logo (which is there in the lower-left corner) with my Company logo. I followed the steps given in the Presenter Help file (pasted below), but somehow the new logo changes its position and is located a little above than it's usual position.
Has somebody tried replacing the logo successfully? Is so, can you please provide the steps in details?
I created the logo.swf (47x27) file from an gif image (150x145) using the freeware version of Okdo Image to Swf converter software. I'm doing this on Adobe Presenter 7.0 version.

    Adobe Help says:
By default, published presentations contain a small Adobe logo in the lower-left corner. You can substitute your organization’s logo for enhanced branding. The ideal size for the finished logo.swf file is 47 x 27 pixels.
Note: When creating a custom logo.swf file, avoid creating content outside the stage area in the SWF file.
Create a new file named logo.swf that contains your custom branding.
In PowerPoint, open a presentation (PPT or PPTX file).
In Windows Explorer, navigate to the templates folder where Presenter 7 was installed.
Add your custom logo.swf file to the Templates folder.
In PowerPoint, publish the presentation to your computer.
View the output to see the new logo.

  • Authorization, use of ADOBE logos

    Hello.
My questions regarding ADOBE logos. I have to submit a project that I will work with ADOBE tools. I need to be able to make use of logos so that customers can know that tools used for this design. Do I use Potoshop, Illustrator logos: Adobe in the presentation? Do I need permission? If you would like I can get the permit?

    Hi,
The same kind of issue was faced.
    The solution is:
Installation of Adobe Life Cycle Designer.

  • Flash Player Installer only displays Adobe logo

I'm trying to install flash (reinstall more like) but I keep running into this problem. The installer downloads, I hit run, and it just stays there blank gray for a few seconds and then shows the Adobe logo in one of the corners.
    Pic.
    (Sorry for size...)
    Specs:
    Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Trying to install latest version of flash
Intel i3, intel HD graphics, 4GB of ram
    Thanks for any help!

    Bypass the installer/downloader....
Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by right clicking the following links and selecting "Save target as" (IE) or "Save Link as"(Firefox).
    Flash Player Uninstaller
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
Save the files to your Downloads folder - DO NOT run anything yet.
    Reboot your system.
BEFORE opening anything, go to the Downloads folder and run the UNINSTALLER to remove all instances of Flash Player.
Next, run the ActiveX installer, and then the (other browsers) Installer.
Lastly, see:Enabling Flash Player in Internet Explorer  and: ActiveX Filtering in Internet Explorer  to make 100% sure that Flash Player is enabled and NOT being blocked by ActiveX controls.

  • How to remove the Adobe logo from the player/skins area

I would like to remove the Adobe logo from the player area.... how can I do that??

    Hi
You can remove the logo and add your logo by doing the following
    1. Create a new file named logo.swf of dimension 47 x 27 pixels that contains your branding.
    2. Go to the templates folder under the Presenter 8 installation folder
    3. Add your custom logo.swf file to the Templates folder.
    4. In PowerPoint, publish the presentation to your computer.
    5. View the output to see the new logo.
    6. this logo will appear every time you publish any presentation
If you want to replace the logo in already published presentation
    1. Create a new file named logo.swf of dimension 47 x 27 pixels that contains your branding.
    2. Go to the publiahed folder >> data >> resources and paste the logo here
    3. Go to the data folder and open vconfig.xml
    4. Search for <uireplace name="logo" value=""/>
    5. make value equal to "resources/logo.swf" and save vconfig.xml
    6. Launch viewer.swf
There is no way to remove the logos completely. A workaround is to add an empty swf of dimension 47 x 27 pixels.
    Hope this helps
    Thanks

  • Icons all Adobe logo

  • Unknown Adobe logo in Win8 Taskbar?

Upon startup on a new Win8 laptop, there is an Adobe logo on the task bar that leads nowhere.
When I hover over, it is a grey square with no preview, and when I right-click it opens the menu showing 'Adobe' under the HP Launch Box. This laptop only has Adobe Photoshop Elements 11, Adobe Premiere Elements 11, and Adobe Shockwave Player 11.6 installed, but none of those are active under Task Manager. Closing it using the red-x in the right top corner (not showing up in attached image) does just that, and nothing seems affected.
How can I determine what Adobe product this is (and what I can to so it doesn't show up like this)?
Thanks in advance and sorry I wasn't sure what forum to post this under

that looks like the adobe application manager.
check your installed programs (control panel>programs>uninstall programs) to see what adobe products are installed.
also you can see what happens if you click/right click the adobe icon under edit hp launch.

  • Adobe logo red in the middle of my e-book ! !

    Hello,
I downloaded legally some time ago an e-book with a password. Everything worked well when I open with the password, but for some time adobe didn't ask myself over password, and displays pages with a huge ADOBE logo in the middle! It's unreadable!
How do I find the pages readable?
    Bonjour,

    >Thank you, but I thought it was on a support forum?
No, this is a user to user forum. That forum is a user to user forum
too, but seems to have more ebook specialists.

  • Changing Adobe Logo and the link

I am trying to change the Adobe logo and the link that appears at the bottom left in the Presenter presentations. Followed the steps to add my own logo at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/presenter/using/WS6EB20748-9F92-46b9-88E3-6EF9F3CDD2F0.html.
Was able to change the logo but could not make it into a hyperlink to point it to my company website. The instructions at http://help.adobe.com/en_US/presenter/using/WS890C3B49-AAE2-4ae5-ACE6-22777FC548E2.html didn't work. My custom logo is not a hyperlink. Any ideas how to link my custom logo to a URL?  Am using Presenter 8. Thanks.

    Hi
Placing the swf in the templates folder as mentioned in http://help.adobe.com/en_US/presenter/using/WS6EB20748-9F92-46b9-88E3-6EF9F3CDD2F0.html will have your logo in the published output every time.
Similarly following the second link as mentioned in your first post will embed the hyperlink permanently.
Since nothing is happening on clicking on the logo even in the published ouput that I shared, this looks like a flash global security settings issue
    To fix this:
    1. Go to http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager04.htm l
    2. Click on always allow radio button
    3. Click on "add location" in the combo box
    4. Give the path to the location of published output. ie if your published output is at C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\My Adobe Presentations\ give this path in the flash global security settings
    5. Then try the published output
note that these are different for each browser .
If you move to some other folder addition of this folder is also required
So addin a trusted folder such as C:\Users\<user name>\Documents\My Adobe Presentations\ is recommended
    Thanks
