Are you able to successfully download an installer if you use Firefox instead of IE or vice versa? (Firefox handles network/internet connections differently from other browsers, so an issue in IE can sometimes be overcome by using Firefox or vice versa.)

Issues with iTunes 9.2 not running after download.
I have been trying to get iTunes 9.2 going since the 24th when I purchased my iPhone 4. I have had NO LUCK getting iTunes to properly run after downloading the flie.
I have Vista 64 bit.
When I download the file and attempt to run it, I get the error "Publisher could not be verified" I select run anyway and nothing happens.

It's very annoying because the 32 bit will run and install, but the 64 bit will not. Any suggestions?None of your software will install on any computer I own. I tried to download Safari and download iTunes through that browser to see if the results would be different, but after downloading it that file does NOTHING after being ran. It's so pathetic I can't even sync my iPhone 4 to my computer after having it since Thursday. Three different computers three different downloads with 2 different browsers.
I'm getting ready to just box up this phone and return it, if I cant even sync it to iTunes, it's useless to me.
If I download through Firefox, nothing happens when I run the executable.
If I download it through Internet Explorer, I get the message that it is an invalid publisher, or publisher could not be identified.
I have erased my temp folder, deleted browser history on both browsers, still nothing.
I am running it in Administrator mode, I have done every suggestion that you have on your site and nothing works. -

This is what I did to fix it. I am running Win7 so I don't know if it will work on Win 8 or not.
1-Uninstalled QuickTime
2-Uninstalled Apple Mobile Device Manager
3-Uninstalled Apple Software Update Manager
4-Uninstalled iTunes
5-Uninstalled iCloud
6-Uninstalled any left over Apple software
7-Restarted Computer
8-Installed iTunes
9-Restarted Computer
I did not install iCloud. I was able to authorize my PC and Sync did work. -
After syncing my itunes from my computer to my iphone4, the download icon at the top of my phone will not stop. It appears at all times as though I am in the middle of a download, but it is not connected to anything.

After downloading and installing OS 10.10.3 iTunes will not open. Spotlight does not find it. I have repaired permissions, re-downloaded iTunes, and re-installed it. The problem remains. ITunes appears in the directory of Applications, the update shown in the info in Finder. Double clicking does not open it.

I'm having a very similar issue, paired with iTunes not being able to get online.
iTunes shows up in processes and then hangs at 17,000 K or so -- sometimes it will start up, but that (if it occurs) is a delay of literal hours.
Pretty meticulously went through all the 'cannot connect' trouble shooting, and have uninstalled, restarted, and then reinstalled every piece of apple software; issue is just as firm. Starting in safe mode or admin mode don't fix it; signing in as a different user doesn't fix it. -

If the device remains unresponsive or does not turn on (or power on), reset your device.
If there is no video or if the screen remains black, verify that the device has enough charge to turn on:

I just downloaded Itunes 11.1.4 (64-bit) update and am running Windows 7. Itunes will not run after installing this update and I receive an error message R6034 on Loading Microsoft C Runtime Library incorrectly. Also Error message 1114 the Itunes Installer was installed incorrectly. Is there an new update for this problem? Is anyone else having this problem? Please help. Thanks.
Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.

Try this...
Triple click anywhere in the line below to select it and press Ctrl+C to copy it.
cmd /k netsh winsock reset
Press the WinLogoKey+R to open the run dialog, then Ctrl+V to paste, then press enter/return.
You should get something similar to this:
Reboot the computer and the problem should be resolved.
If it doesn't work then perhaps a full tear down and rebuild of iTunes will fix things. See Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates for details.

I am suddenly unable to update or download apps on my iphone 3G. It says "the download will be available after you log in to itunes from your computer." I never had to do that before. Even when I do log in from the computer, the download still doesn't work. So what's going on? Why would I need to go the computer to download an app to my phone? I had problems uninstalling Apple Mobile Support, I had to repair it first before I could uninstall it. You will have to restart the computer after all the uninstalls, and before reinstalling ITunes. I reinstalled ITunes from the Apple website afterwards (fresh download) ... everything works for me now that I have done this. -

The problem was that in my existing "bridge" - preference was (I think by default) - checked to startup in background on Login. I did not realize this - because I don't think I set it that way in the first place (maybe I did a few years ago) - and I could not see anything in task manager to suggest that bridge was running an application or any process - but when I learned this - I was successful in installing PS CS6.
Yes, I'm still not on solid ground re: whether or not I want to change from "owning" the tool or renting it -- what concerns me is that is sounds like regardless of users wishes, Adobe is headed in this direction and will eventually make it financially more feasible to go that route. At the moment I think they are "asking" for everyone to get on their bandwagon, but who knows. They have a powerful set of tools, that they continue to support and advance - and along with those development and support costs, they also would like to make a profit - so I understand if their past marketing model is no longer sufficient.
