After EHP6 Upgarde Picking list print out is resulting format & overlapping issues

Hi All,
We have recently upgraded our system from ECC 6.0 to EHP6 .Now when user trying to print a Picking list document then Print out is overlapping with content .
But when we check the spool the Print Priview looks good but when trying to print the content is overlapping & observed the font size is chaned i.e. the content is displayed in Bold format .
But for those spools which were created before upgarde & when we give a print then Print out is fine. So some thing happend after upgrade that causing us the Print out problem .
we are using device type HPLJ4 & try to print Picking list output and it is causing problem.

Thanks for your reply and yes the issue got resolved . Actually we are using a custom device type ZHPLJ4 which is a copy of HPLJ4 . But as part of Upgrade ZHPLJ4 HELVE with scalablity is no longer supported. So we have removed the entry from SE73 as it even doesnt exist in HPLJ4 . Now it is working as expected.

Go to T code OMLV and tick the printer where you don't want printing to happen.Hope this will solve your issue.

Print outs in various formats..

hi,
Is it possible to take print out in various formats like .pdf, .jpg, in SAP B1 2005!. if yes how it can be done. if not possible to take then is there any add ons / enhancements possible.

It is possible to export a PLD layout to PDF and Image formats.
Open a Marketing document, for example a AR Invoice.
From the menu bar choose File -> Export To -> Layout To ->PDF to export to PDF Format
From the menu bar choose File -> Export To -> Layout To ->Image to export to Image Format

If I print an email after it's sent, it prints out Subj, from,date,to and text info. I want to print all this info before I send, not just the text. How?

If I address and compose an email and try to print it before I send it, it only prints the text, not the "Subject," "From, Date," and "To" lines in the email. After I send it, if I go into the sent register and print the same e-mail it prints out all these lines along with the text.
I want to print the email before I send it and have the print-out contain all these lines along with the text. How do I set Thunderbird to do this all the time?

You will get the details you want if you print from the draft folder.

Pick list print preview

Hi all,
How can I view the print preview of pick list output type EK00?
When I get to the Picking output from VT02N, it only shows me the status of the output generated.
But I can't see the print preview.
Also can I generate Ek00 output for a delivery manually?

I have copied SD_PICK_SINGLE Layout and using standard RVADDN01 Program.
While Printing These Errors is coming :

I dont know why these errors are coming as i have copied the standard layout form.
I have made a new output type 'YHPK' in 'V2' Shipping...
In this output type i have selected two processing routines:
1     Print output RVADDN01     ENTRY     YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
2     Fax          RVADDN01     ENTRY     YHPK-PICK_SINGLE
While Debugging all the Elements are traveresed but the value is not populated.
As a result blank picking list only with heading is printed.
Please help me resolve this issue urgently....

Can I print out the document formatting information for review

Is there a way to print out, for example, all the paragraph format with their formatting details? I'd like the same for character formats, conditional text etc.?
I'm a long time FrameMaker use and have built numerous templates over the years. The one thing I always found missing was the ability to printout a list of the various formats so that you can review them (much more easily one at a time on screen) to make sure they all have the correct settings. MS Word, back in the DOS days, had this capability and it was fast and efficient way of double checking all the formatting.
Does this functionality exist in FrameMaker? Or are there any utilities out there that would do this?

The Format List utility from Squidds does this really well. It creates
tables that contain the various formats and their settings. It's really
easy to look down a column and see which paragraph or character formats
use, for example, a particular font or space above setting. Format List
is one of the Finalyser utilities.
The Squidds website is notoriously user unfriendly, but here is a link
for the price lists page. If you can find the right list for your
FrameMaker version, it will give you prices for the complete Finalyser
or Toolbox utility set, and prices for the individual utilities. I
believe Format List is $49 USD.

It seems like someone else makes a utility that creates a separate
one-column table for each format. I can't seem to find that one. Perhaps
someone else remembers what it is. Separate tables are not nearly as
easy to use for comparison, though.

Printing out-poor results

Hi there,
i´m a new user of Aperture. I use a canon 400D, take pictures in RAW and L jpgs (store it on external HD). I use a Canon Pixma IP 5300 for printing out. I wasn´t ever happy with the results whenever I print out on my own. So I exported a picture to the (now empty) Iphoto library and..., way better results! Much more natural and easier to handle.
My question:
What am I´m doing wrong? Is it color settings in Aperture? What settings should I use to get the most natural out of my prints?

Aperture really wants to manage colour during printing.
One common problem seems to be having your printer (driver) set to colour management, and then Aperture doing it as well. (This is probably not the only problem...)
One of the O'Reilly Inside Aperture Podcasts, with Joe Schorr, covers this very issue.

I've used FOP from Jakarta and had pretty good success with it. It takes a little bit of time to learn how to write your documents, but it does a decent job with the formatting, etc. Check it out at

If you use a column with greater than 255 as the LINE-SIZE in the REPORT or NEW-PAGE statement, the following notes apply:
Type definitions: The type group SLIST defines the valid maximum value for the list width (SLIST_MAX_LINESIZE), and contains a type for list lines with maximum type (SLIST_MAX_LISTLINE).
Printing: You cannot print the list using standard printing functions. To print it, you must create a special print routine that arranges the data in shorter lines (for example, using the ... PRINT ON addition in the NEW-PAGE) statement.
Accessing the entire contents of a line:: To read or modify the entire contents of a wide line, you can use the ... LINE VALUE addition in the READ LINE or MODIFY LINE statements. This is an alternative to using SY-LISEL that is independent of the attributes of the system field (since the length of SY-LISEL is 255 characters).
Hroizontal lines: With extra-wide lists, the "ULINE." statement corresponds to "WRITE / SY-ULINE.". So, for example, "ULINE AT 5(300)." corresponds to "WRITE AT 5(300) SY-ULINE.".
Output length:: You can use the length specification in WRITE (or ULINE) to extend the output length of an extra-wide list up to the value of LINE-SIZE. If you want to output a whole field that is longer than 255 characters, you must use this, even if the field itself is defined as longer than 255 characters.

Invoice List print out multiple output devices

I have a requirement where in I need the Invoice list to generate output to 2 different devices.....
Here is my dillema, Invoice list program looks at the output device that is set up in the user defaults in the user area, SU3 transaction, Since only one output device can be used in that field I can generate Invoice list output to only one printer unless done manually that is not possible as the number of invoice list is huge.
I am using ECC 5.0 , Does anybody have a solution for this???

The printer name can be defaulted from the output condition record, which I believe trumps the printer in the user's default.
You could have two output condition types Z001 and Z002, both automatically proposed and each pointing to a different printer.

Pick list print issue?

Hello Friends,
I have a printing issue with my client,
For specific customers they ship very large kits(BOM's) and require ship labels to print for each component listed on the picklist , in addition to the regular ship label for the header material YX.
These components are item category YF (purposely omitted for delivery note).
They do not want this to print of every customer, Please advice how we can add a logic to print shipping labels for components only for specific customers.

We have developed Zprogram for the project. We are using bar code printer which is used to print the lables.
1. Developed a zprogram with selection screen child & parent material radio buttons. so whenver u click child material it will create label only for components apart from header material.
2.Program generates a text file with component details and downloads it to the Application server
3. Once the text fiole get downloaded & bar code printer is ON , it will automatically prints the labels. If the barcode printer is OFF, then u will be able to see the text files

How do I use multiple classes to print out different results

I tried the below, but it only printed the print line from the class that contains the "main" method, but I want the second one (Demo2) to print to check some logic :

You can only have one main method. Try something like this:
class StaticDemo

   static int y;
class Demo
   public static void main(String[] args) {
      StaticDemo.y = 30;
      System.out.println("StaticDemo.y = " + StaticDemo.y);
      Demo2 d2 = new Demo2();
      d2.display();
class Demo2

Using Applescript to open a link in an email and printing out the result

This may have been answered before but I can't find it. Does anyone have a script that can read an email to find a link contained within it, open said link and then print it?
