After I updated, now buttons on sites are inactive (I click on them and nothing happens). I've tried many things. What's going on?
I tried re-installing Firefox - no change. From Internet Explorer all buttons are active - this only happens in Firefox. 'Some' buttons on 'some' sites are active. But most buttons are inactive - the cursor placed above the button does nothing.
Both the Yahoo! Toolbar extension and the Babylon extension have been reported to cause this issue. Disable or uninstall those add-ons.

I set up my newly received IPhone 4, connected to my wi-fi, then turned the connection off. I now want to turn it on and turn off bluetooth, but when I go to settings, general, none of the options respond. I touch them and nothing happens. I tried resetting the phone but that doesn't work either. If anyone can help me resolve this, I'd really appreciate it. Does Apple have a chat or live help available?
WiFi is turned ON/OFF in Settings > WiFi not Settings > General
Try Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings.

I can no longer open any attachments that are sent to me. I click on and get cannot preview (but have had this for ages). I am clicking on download and nothing happens. It does not download. I clicked to install a new version after updating and clicking repair. But still the attachments won't open including invoices I have received today. It is all attachments not just pdfs.

Then most likely it is not caused by Adobe Reader.

When I open Muse, I get a message that a new update is available. When I hit install it just closes and nothing happens. Then I got a message I needed Adobe Creative Cloud App to resolve the issue. I downloaded a copy of Creative Cloud desktop but it says that my Muse is up to date. It was last updated in May but you have a new update today and it will not update. I thought maybe I am not suppose to have the Creative Cloud update because all I have is the individual app Muse and the photography program. So I uninstalled the CC desktop. Then when I open Muse it says I need the CC desktop to help with the update. So I get stopped either way. Now I also had a Pre-Release Muse on my computer and I don't know if that complicated things. Please advise.
All future installs/updates of Muse (and most other Adobe apps) are through the Creative Cloud desktop app. Thus you do need to have it installed.

I cant get my ipad 2 out of recovery. The apple icon stays on and nothing happens. I tried restoring it through Itunes but it comes up with a 3194 error code. I have the latest Itunes being 10.6.1.7 and the latest windows update.Can someone please help?
Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -
My play lists and songs on iTunes and on my iPhone won't play. They are light grey instead of black and nothing happens when I click on the songs. All of the songs were either from CD's or from iTunes that I purchased. I have home sharing turned on. This is a new issue. It used to work fine. I tried restarting my iPhone and syncing with iTunes. Neither worked. Please help!
Try delete those songs using iTunes by de-selecting and sync. After that mark those songs and sync again.

For the past two weeks, whenever I've logged off there has always been one update waiting to be installed. I found this curious, so last night I waited to see what would happen. The wheel just kept spinning and spinning--and pretty obviously the update was not installed. And now the update is still waiting to be installed. (Only in the last instance, when I was checking to see what happened, did I power off the computer. In all the previous instances, I found the computer OFF when I checked the following morning. However, the update had obviously not been installed.) How do I solve this problem? Thanks.

My itunes library tells me that an update is available for itunes, but when I click on the dowload button, nothing happens, and when I check what version of itunes is installed, it has not changed from the older version. In general settings, I have set it to automatically check for downloads, which it does on a regular basis, but is never able to install them.
Try updating your iTunes using an iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer file downloaded from the Apple website:

It also locks the phone as per the manual you referenced. Look it up, p. 8 if you're interested. -
Hi - for a year or more IThunes has been fine with Vista on my machine - today no matter what I do I can't open it - I am guessing something that has been upgraded is now causing a compatibility issue. Anyone know how to fix ?

Asked by Firefox to download Firefox 4.0 for OSX I did so. It replaced my old Firefox that worked fine. When I try to open it I get a Firefox "cannot be launched" window and nothing more happens. I tried to redownload Firefox 3.616 but to open it I get a "choose an application" message and I don't know which application to use.
What is going on? I can't believe that it's virtually impossible to find a place to download the old version without going through all kinds of hoops and hoping that someone was brave enough to face the confusion of getting to the right place in order to find a replacement version. Why is system compatibility check not available before downloading? 4.0 downloaded and installed without ever stopping to check compatibility, which would have saved several hours of trying to figure out how to get the old version back (and it's no easier when you have a brain injury believe me!)
And I'll still be forced to use this sucky new version in a "short time?" Have you people totally gone off the rails? -
After updating to 29 when I would check my plug-in status it would either not recognize a plug-in was outdated, or when it did, the update now button would redirect to the plug-in page I was on already. I have been going directly to the sites to update the plug-ins manually. Today I updated to 30, and then after reopening the browser I checked the plug-ins. It said the plug-in for Adobe Acrobat, version 11.0.7.79, was vulnerable. The update now button just redirects to the same page I'm on, again. But, I cannot find any place on adobe to update this plug-in, or even find a version history to confirm the version I have is indeed vulnerable (recently we all went through this with the Java plug-in, when it was the current version although Firefox said it wasn't).
Why is this update now button doing this? Is 11.0.7.79 the latest version? Is there any place on adobe.com that I can go directly for this plug-in? Any help would be appreciated, as this is so frustrating, and I'm concerned about using the browser at all if there is a known vulnerability. TIA.There seems to be a bug in the new site: it is associating the <s>Flash</s> <u>Adobe Acrobat</u> plugin with the Mac version ("Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in" is the description used on Mac) instead of the Windows version ("Adobe PDF Plug-In For Firefox and Netscape" is the description used on Windows and Linux). As a result, from what I can see, it is not correcting comparing the current plugin version with the site's database. I'm not sure how they're going to fix that, but as far as I can tell, that seems to be the problem as of this moment.
