After the exchange of iPad because the 3G was not working, i canot connect to iTunes.
IT seem to be in a recuparating mode that i canot control.
Sounds like the one common thing is the adapter. The cheaper, non apple branded ones tend to fail.
Try another adaptor before worrying about your ipad.

reload iTunes
NB hp is a relatively new machine and has previously backed up quite happily.

Try rebooting the iPad. Hold down both the Home and Sleep buttons for several seconds until the Apple logo appears. Ignore the "Slide to power off" arrow. It takes a minute or two to restart.
Also be sure your iPad battery is not completely discharged.

I have just added an exchange email account to my new IPad2. I am able to receive emails but I am not able to send messages from this account. I have the exact same account set up on my Old IPad and iPhone and am ble to send and receive. My work (where the server for this account is) gave me the IPad and set up the apple account. What am I missing?
You might want to try removing they email account and setting it back up again

When working on document in numbers and saving it I then try to open on iPad. It is not syncing what do I have to do after using on Mac to then be able to upload on iPad. I have set cloud up and it works with keynote

I have seen previous versions mentioned in a pop up message before on iCloud.com, but I'm not really sure at all how it would help, as I couldn't get it to do anything.
The best advice I have at this time is to back up your work on your iOS device by regularly saving it to iTunes, if anything goes wrong you can then either load it into the numbers app again on the device or recover it via iTunes on your computer.
My syncs are immediate, I never get chance to see if it works in the background, sorry. -
My ipad is hung with the dialogue box saying "this iPad hasn't been backed up in 4 weeks. Backup happen when this iPad is plugged in, locked and connected to WiFi". Even after doing that, I am not able to do anything with the iPad - neither able to reboot nor able to get to the homescreen. The dialogue box doesn't go at all even after pressing OK a hundred times. I treid tacking the back up through itunes and through 3G conncetion but of no avail. Please help
I too have been having this issue since about 12/14. That is around the same time I got the Ipad for my kids. I am unsure if it is related. I have tried logging out of icloud/deleting it and trying again. Removing most of the apps to sync. I reset my router. All of the attempts have produced zero results. I will be anxiously watching this thread for some help. Good luck to you also

Try and force your iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times. -
After an recent OS7 update my iPad2 requested a restore which I did, at the end my iPad jumped into "communicating with iTune" but it never communicates. I restored 3 time alreaady and I am not able to communicate with iTune to be able to use my iPad which is my working tool.
What should I do?Communicate with iTunes? What does this mean? Tell us what you are seeing on your screen and what you then try to do?

If the old ID is yours, and if your current ID was created by editing the details of this old ID (rather than being an entirely new ID), go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Click edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iDevice, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then save any photo stream photos that you wish to keep to your camera roll. When finished go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

My mom is giving her old iPad (iPad Second Generation) to my older brother (a new apple user, hehe). However, after I restored everything he wasn't able to activate it, because it asks him to type the first my mom's Apple Id (s•••••@me.com). The is that she had a few problems with her first id and I deleted it for her. I hope so... Then, I've created a new Apple Id and for some reason the iPad does not accepts, it doesn't say the id or password is wrong, it just doesn't accept it.
And now, after a few tries, guess what. Her Apple Id is blocked. I know... :`(
So, what am I suppose to do??
Please help. ^^She needs to reset her password for that Apple ID (the original one that was used for iCloud's Find My iPad feature), then you can enter it again.

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:

If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
2. Connect USB cable to computer, leave the other end alone
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad

Why are the animations so choppy?
I just did an upgrade to Yosemite and the animations (like entering Mission Control) are quite choppy. I have a late 2013 rMBP with 16GB of RAM, 2.6GHz Quad Core i7, NVIDIA GeForce GT 750M, and 1TB SSD. Mavericks had no issues and was always smooth.
